Roots rock rambler Liam St. John has officially released his debut studio album, ‘Man Of The North’, which is out now through Big Loud Rock. The album was preceded by the release of his hell raising new single, “Trouble,” a swampy, grungy number that finds St. John amidst a rock tinged bender as he attempts to exercise his darkest demons. “They say it’s darkest before the dawn, and ‘Trouble’ is the point in the album and in my life where I reached my darkest days,” said St. John. “They never tell you how dark it is down at rock bottom.”
The album, which has amassed significant buzz with over 90 million streams worldwide, is a powerful and personal statement from the Spokane born, Nashville based artist, who channels ferocity into every aspect of the project. It follows the gritty title track “Man Of The North,” which Wide Open Country called “a powerful song that I can’t get enough of.” The album, which features collaborations with Grammy winner Molly Tuttle and Houndmouth, finds St. John blending Americana, outlaw country, and rock with raw, immediate, and vulnerable songwriting. He recently made his debut at CMA Fest and appeared at Lollapalooza, prompting Celeb Secrets to name him “one of the most exciting rising voices in rock tinged Americana.” St. John is celebrating the record with his extensive 50+ date Man Of The North Headline Tour, which just kicked off his UK debut at Leicestershire’s The Long Road Festival.
