Matt Rife Announces 2025 ‘Stay Golden Tour’ Across North America

0

Today, hugely popular comedian Matt Rife announced his 2025 Stay Golden Tour with 32 arena and amphitheater shows across North America next year. Produced by Live Nation, the brand-new tour will kick off on Saturday, March 8 in Dallas, TX at American Airlines Center, with additional stops in Houston, Pittsburgh, San Diego, North Charleston, Montreal, Kansas City, and more. The tour will see Matt playing the biggest rooms of his career thus far, including his first-ever headline show at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY.

The Stay Golden Tour follows Matt’s wildly successful ProbleMATTic World Tour, which saw the comedian sell over 600,000 tickets across 250+ shows in less than 48 hours following the announcement in June 2023. The multi-year tour included shows across North America, Europe, the UK, and Australia.

TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale beginning Wednesday, November 20 at 12pm local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, November 22 at 12pm local time at MattRifeOfficial.com.

In 2021, Rife self-produced his first one-hour comedy special, “Only Fans,” which he distributed through YouTube and in April 2023, he released his second special, “Matthew Steven Rife,” also on YouTube. On November 15, 2023, he released his first Netflix special, “Matt Rife: Natural Selection,” which achieved over 10.3 million views in its first two weeks, becoming the most viewed special on the streaming platform in the latter half of 2023. Rife’s incredible success opened the door to a lucrative two-special deal with Netflix, which included a development deal for a groundbreaking gym/workplace comedy series that he will both write and star in. The partnership also featured Netflix’s first-ever crowd work special, “Lucid,” which premiered on August 13, 2024, quickly entering the top 10 most-watched shows in 37 countries on the platform for two weeks.

Rife is set to take on a leading role in Rolling Loud, an R-rated comedy co-produced by Live Nation Productions, which will be filmed at the renowned hip-hop festival of the same name this winter. The film is written and directed by Jeremy Garelick (Murder Mystery 2) through his company, American High. The UTA Independent Film Group is handling worldwide rights for the project, which is scheduled for release next year.

Comedian/Actor/Producer/Writer/Author Matt Rife has cemented himself as one of biggest stand ups in the world through his top performing Netflix special and his remarkable engagement on social media where he has amassed over 39.4 million followers, and more than 3 billion  views globally.

This December, Rife will release his first book, Your Mom’s Gonna Love Me, a memoir from Simon & Schuster. In his book, Rife reveals (without apology, of course) what led him to becoming comedy’s biggest lightning rod before he reached thirty, in a story full of bold and hysterical takes on everything from rap battles with ex-cons to Matt’s struggles with depression and his many brushes with failure before finally hitting it big.

Rife is selling-out theaters and arenas around the globe and is currently on his biggest tour to-date with Live Nation, the Matt Rife: ProbleMATTic World Tour. Last fall, Rife sold out 4 shows at The Dolby Theater in Hollywood, where the Academy Awards are held. In December 2023, Rife set a record at the Mohegan Sun Arena with five nights of consecutive sold out performances and this summer he became the youngest stand-up comedian to sell-out the Hollywood Bowl with over 17,000 tickets sold.

His current tour sold over 600,000 tickets in under 48 hours, to become one of the largest comedy tours in over 20 years. After the success of his tour, Rife recently signed on for a second world tour with Live Nation.  He will also star in the feature film, Rolling Loud, an R-rated comedy co-produced by Live Nation Productions and American High, set to release in 2025.

Rife brings forth his refreshingly genuine presence along with elevated material that is quick witted and vulnerable. From a small town near Columbus Ohio, Matt started performing at the age of fifteen then moved out to Los Angeles two years later where he began his career in Hollywood.

In 2021, Rife self-produced and distributed through YouTube his first one-hour comedy special, ”Only Fans”. In April 2023, the comedian bet on himself again and self-released his second stand-up special, ”Matthew Steven Rife” on YouTube. The special was taped in Austin, TX and is dedicated to his biggest role model, his grandfather Steven who had recently passed. Only a couple months later, Rife decided to release a crowd work special, Walking Red Flag on YouTube, which has amassed over 13 million views. He also earned placement on the Forbes list for Forbes 30 under 30 in 2023 and top creators list in 2024.

On November 15th, 2023, the comedian released his highly anticipated third stand-up special, Matt Rife: Natural Selection on Netflix, which garnered outstanding numbers including over 10.3 million views in its first two weeks and earning a Top 10 ranking in 42 countries including #1 in US, Canada, and South Africa.  Natural Selection was the most viewed special on Netflix for the second half of 2023.  From the overwhelming success of his first Netflix special, Rife inked a two-special deal along with a development deal for a gym/workplace comedy series that he will write and star in. The deal with Rife included Netflix’s first ever crowd work special, Lucid, which debuted on August 13th, 2024 and again cemented him in the top 10 most watched shows in 37 countries on the streamer for two weeks.

In addition to stand-up, he made his television debut on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out  as the youngest cast member in history for four seasons before moving on to other MTV properties, such as hosting the reboot of  TRL  and appearing on The Challenge. Other credits include Fresh Off The Boat, NBC’s comedy competition show Bring The Funny, and Netflix’s That 90’s Show.

10 Tips for Indie Musicians on Developing Media Relationships

Building strong media relationships is essential for any musician looking to amplify their career. The right connections can lead to impactful press coverage, greater visibility, and lasting credibility. But like creating great music, it requires strategy, effort, and a personal touch. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your media network, these 10 tips will help you navigate the world of journalists, bloggers, and media outlets with confidence and success.

  1. Research Journalists and Outlets
Take the time to find journalists who write about your genre or similar artists. Read their work and understand their interests—this insight is gold when pitching your music. Tailored approaches always stand out.
  2. Engage on Social Media
Start a conversation before the pitch. Follow journalists, like their posts, and share their articles. Authentic engagement builds relationships long before your email lands in their inbox.
  3. Personalize Your Outreach
A pitch that feels personal gets attention. Use their name, reference an article they wrote, and explain why your music is a great fit for them. Nobody loves a copy-paste pitch.
  4. Be Professional and Polite
Respect their time and deadlines. Approach every interaction with professionalism—whether it’s a quick question or a full interview request. Gratitude goes a long way.
  5. Offer Exclusive Content
Want to stand out? Give them something nobody else has—early listens, behind-the-scenes videos, or an exclusive angle. It’s a win-win: you get the spotlight, and they get a unique story.
  6. Build a Consistent Presence
Don’t go quiet after your first feature. Keep your media contacts updated with milestones, tours, and new releases. Being consistent makes you hard to forget.
  7. Collaborate on Content
Think beyond the traditional interview. Offer to write a guest post, join their podcast, or create a unique video. Collaborations build stronger connections and broaden your audience.
  8. Attend Industry Events
Face-to-face is still powerful. Meet journalists at industry mixers, showcases, and panels. A handshake and a great conversation are worth more than a dozen emails.
  9. Be Reliable and Transparent
Journalists value trust. Be honest, meet deadlines, and deliver on your promises. Reliability ensures they’ll want to work with you again and again.
  10. Follow Up Without Nagging
Silence isn’t always a no. Follow up politely, but don’t overdo it. Respect their time while showing persistence—it’s a fine balance, but it pays off.

Building media relationships is like writing a hit song—it takes effort, creativity, and authenticity. Play the long game, and the spotlight will follow. The album title perfectly captures the mood of Benjamin Ingrosso’s surreal universe—a kaleidoscopic space filled with intense emotions and vivid imagery. The album’s soundscape combines nostalgia with innovation, inviting listeners to lose themselves in a world where love is thrilling and unpredictable.

Album standouts include “Look Who’s Laughing Now,” which earned a coveted spot in a seven-minute medley performance during the Eurovision Song Contest semifinals in May, the Platinum-certified “Kite” and “Honey Boy,” his collaboration with German hitmaker Purple Disco Machine, the legendary Nile Rodgers, and Jamaican breakout star Shenseea.

Poppy Announces ‘They’re All Around Us’ 2025 North America Tour

0

Following the release of her new album, Negative Spaces, Grammy-nominated artist Poppy announces her 2025 North American tour ‘They’re All Around Us’. Produced by Live Nation, the 28-city tour kicks off on March 11 at The Fillmore in San Francisco making stops across North America in Toronto, Brooklyn, Houston and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on April 23.

Tickets will be available starting with artist presales beginning Tuesday, November 19. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, November 22 at 10am local time at LiveNation.com.

An insatiably inventive drive has fueled Poppy’s surrealistic rise through countless corners of the arts and music worlds, with each of her many projects so far revealing a different glimpse of a true visionary unconcerned with genre, unimpressed by convention, and forever defying expectations. It’s that eclecticism that has cemented Poppy’s reputation as a boundary-obliterating artist redefining culture as we know it, at every turn. From performance art provocateur, to video director, to sci-fi graphic novel author, to a globe-traveling recording artist whose songbook encompasses anything from brutal metal breakdowns and snappy ‘60s bubblegum, to trap-pop and grunge-punk, absolutely nothing has been off-limits when it comes to Poppy masterfully executing her varied artistic vision. Her 2021 GRAMMY nod for Best Metal Performance (“BLOODMONEY”) marked the first time a solo female artist had ever been nominated in the category. Her staggeringly chameleon-like adaptability has kept fans guessing what’s next every step of the way. And yet, each impressive and feverishly ambitious pivot manages to sound uniquely, and singularly “Poppy”.

Poppy’s 2024 has been one of her most memorable years yet, between touring with 30 Second to Mars and Avenged Sevenfold, and releasing smash collaborative singles with the likes of Bad Omens (“V.A.N.”) and Knocked Loose (“Suffocate”). It only gets better, with the solo artist now vaulting deep into her next daring era with the release of her fifth multi-versal full-length, Negative Spaces. The album continues the sonic adventurism of this spring’s diamond-radiant industrial anthem “new way out,” with Poppy and producer Jordan Fish (ex-Bring Me the Horizon) also mirror-balling through delicately-delivered pop (“yesterday”), full bodied screams (“have you had enough”), synth-symbiotic ‘80s retro-futurism (“crystallized”) and energy-jolted ‘00s pop-punk (“Negative Spaces”). It’s the thrilling sound of an ever-evolving artist redefining their legacy one song at a time, with a welcome understanding that there’s still so much inspiration to be found in the margins yet to be explored, deep within the negative spaces.

half•alive Announces North American Headline Tour

0

Indie pop/rock trio half•alive have released their third studio album, Persona, available to stream and purchase here today via Virgin Music Group. The bold, cohesive and compact body of work that touches on love, anger, longing, crisis and estrangement. Throughout 11 tracks, half•alive explore what it means to be human – how do personalities develop and how does the outside world perceive you. At the end of it all, they challenge you to answer the question – are you looking or are you seeing?

The creative lengths of this band know no bounds as they have teamed up with Ray-Ban for the video for new song “All My Love (Imperative)” filmed entirely on the new Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses – watch here “A consistent state of busyness is normal in a city like Los Angeles. We don’t know how to rest. We don’t know how to differentiate what we do from who we are,” shares Josh Taylor. “We are all guilty of responding to the simple ‘how are you?’ with a knee jerk ‘I’m good, I’m really busy’ to try and attach our degree of hustle to our self worth. ‘All My Love’ is poking at the idea that worth is downstream from work.

Fans will get a chance to hear these songs live on their Persona World Tour, produced by Live Nation, kicking off next spring. Full of top-notch production, incredible dance choreography, and unique arrangements of their catalog, half•alive is truly a band that you have to see live.

Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale beginning Tuesday, November 19 at 10am local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on sale beginning Friday, November 22 at 10am local time. For more info and tickets go to  www.halfalive.co.

For a band that is known for their dynamic visuals and captivating production, the Long Beach-based trio, made up of multi-instrumentalists Brett Kramer, Josh Taylor and J Tyler Johnson, were inspired to peel back the layers in the studio with producer Tommy King (HAIM, The 1975, Vampire Weekend). Adding in collaborators like Justin Tranter, Skyler Stonestreet, Emma Rosen and Jonah Shy, half•alive created songs that were captivating and shocking while also being focused and intentional, as well as having award-winning choreographers JA Collective (made up of Jordan Johnson and Aidan Carberry) reprise their roles to direct movement across the visuals.

Throughout the music videos for previously released singles including the heart-warming harmonic single “Songs”, indie-pop anthem “Sophie’s House” and the heavy-hitting “Automatic”, fans have been introduced to the mascots of Persona – Sonny and Cher. These two “monster-like” creatures were created when the band stumbled upon a digital artist online. An Instagram account (@blatant.space) full of images of exaggerated monsters and fantastical creatures with both animal and humanoid features left half•alive wondering about the stories behind these characters and what it would mean to bring them to life. With the artists’ blessing, the band fabricated two monster mascots that represent the idea that your persona is a different skin that you wear to protect your true self. Fans can now make their own monster while listening to Persona by visiting https://halfalive.lnk.to/monstermaker.

“Persona has allowed us to lean into big choices while also learning a valuable lesson in editing. Anything that didn’t contribute to telling a story was left on the cutting room floor and we couldn’t be more proud of this album. It is truly the best version of half•alive and we’re so happy these songs are now yours.”

“I get warm, soothing chills down my spine when I’m around people singing in harmony. Whenever it happens I can almost see the voices twisting together, and molding into one beautiful thing lighting up the room. I think that’s why so many people are drawn to concerts. Whether you’re singing along with the band or just listening, there’s a certain magic in the room that gets shared by everyone there, “ shares Josh Taylor, looking ahead to getting back on the road. “We’re looking forward to feeling that at the shows next year. The high intensity, the introspection, the swaying, the absorbing and participating-  it’s all creating a harmony.

Kicking off in March of 2025, this tour will travel around North America, stopping at iconic venues like Brooklyn Paramount, Marathon Music Works, South Side Ballroom and Hollywood Palladium with support from The Walters and mehro before heading overseas to a variety of cities throughout Europe and the UK, wrapping up down under in June in Australia. A full list of tour dates and venues can be found below.

The music of half•alive breathes, evolves, grows, and changes alongside the lives of the Long Beach trio—Josh Taylor [vocals], Brett Kramer [drums], and J Tyler Johnson [bass]. half•alive officially came to life on the 2017 EP, which sparked a palpable buzz on the strength of “The Fall” and “Aawake At Night”. Over the course of the next year, they crafted what became their massive breakout single “still feel.” which has been RIAA certified Gold, rocketed into the Top 10 at Alt Radio and has over 290 million worldwide streams to date.

Since then, the band has released now three full-length albums, were named YouTube’s Artist on the Rise, have had multiple Top 20 Alt Radio singles, performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, secured a spot in Vevo’s DSCVR class and showcased their incredibly creative artistry at NPR’s Tiny Desk with the outlet calling them “a band with a clear vision and gift for design, not just in the earworms they write, but in their entire presentation.”

With help from incredible collaborators like choreographers and creative partners Jordan Johnson and Aidan Carberry, otherwise known as JA Collective, half•alive have completed three headlining tours across the United States, EU and UK, supported Twenty One Pilots on a massive arena tour and have graced major festival stages like Outside Lands, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. Celebrated for their cutting-edge choreography and visual presentations both on and off the stage, the band has quickly become the definition of a must-be-seen to be believed act.

0

Today, Papa Roach announces they will join forces with Rise Against and special guest Underoath to embark on the first North American legs of the Rise of the Roach Tour in the spring and fall of 2025marking a significant milestone as the two legendary rock bands unite for their first-ever outing together. In the tour announcement parody video, comedian Bert Kreischer dropped the ‘big news’ that he’ll be hitting the road with Papa Roach next year. In fact, he even let fans in on a little secret—he’s totally been in the band all along. Watch the full video HERE.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour, hitting over 30 major cities across the U.S. across two legs, kicking off on March 20th at Toyota Center in Houston, TX, then proceeds with stops coast-to-coast in Los Angeles, CA; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Saint Paul, MN; Mansfield, MA; Bridgeport, CT; Charlotte, NC and more before wrapping up in West Palm Beach, FL at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre on October 5th.

The uniquely curated tour will see the biggest production from Papa Roach to date, as well as two distinct modern rock heavyweights in Papa Roach and Rise Against, with some of the biggest hits in the genre performed on one stage. Both acts are celebrating 25th Anniversaries, as Papa Roach will celebrate 25 years of their debut album INFEST with iconic tracks and fan-favorite deep cuts from their entire catalog, In comparison, Rise Against who also hit the 25 year mark since their formation, will be unleashing fan favorites and hits from their revered catalogue.

“We can’t wait to bring the Rise Of The Roach tour to North America next year,” shares Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix “Rise Against are legends in their own right, and will bring another dynamic to this tour.  With both our bands celebrating our 25+ year legacy and deep catalogs, we are truly blessed to be able to put this show in front of fans.”

Tim McIlrath of Rise Against added, After crossing paths with Papa Roach countless times over the years, we’re stoked to finally team up and put our bands together on the same stage and our fans together in the same room. With the welcome addition of our old friends Underoath, this will be the best damn tour of 2025. See you soon!”

TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with artist presales beginning on Monday, November 11. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning on Thursday, November 14 at 10am local time at RiseOfTheRoach.com. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Papa Roach’s INFEST, a limited number of tickets will be available for $25 starting Monday, November 11 while supplies last.

Papa Roach are two-time GRAMMY-nominated, Platinum-selling leaders in Alternative Hard Rock music, who in 2025 will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of their iconic album INFEST. Papa Roach, who has recently called attention to the cause of Suicide Prevention with “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark) with pop-country superstar Carrie Underwood, is not unfamiliar with calling attention to Mental Health and has been doing so since the seminal release of their first hit-single“Last Resort.” Since then, the band has created ten studio albums, their most recent being Ego Trip, on their own label, New Noize Records. Ego Trip has garnered over 850 million global streams to date and has produced four #1 singles, bringing the band’s total to 26 career Top-10 hits and 12 career #1’s across Rock, Alternative, and Hot AC. Papa Roach’s Rise of the Roach tour was originally announced in the UK and Europe, and selling out venues including London’s famed Wembley Arena now continues throughout North America in 2025

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Rise Against has been heralded by NME as “maybe the most important punk band on the planet.” The multi-Gold and Platinum group (lead vocalist/guitarist Tim McIlrath, bassist/vocalist Joe Principe, lead guitarist/vocalist Zach Blair, drummer Brandon Barnes) has had seven top 50 records on the Billboard 200 chart, five of which reached the top 10. Rise Against’s albums have touched on a spectrum of vital issues including voting rights, LGBTQ rights, animal rights, and environmental causes, and they’re known for their wholehearted engagement with fans — whether in an explosive live show setting or on record. The band’s most recent album, Nowhere Generation (Loma Vista Recordings), shone a spotlight on the social and economical deck that has been stacked against the younger generations’ pursuit of The American Dream. Debuting in June 2021 at the top of multiple Billboard charts (including #1 on Rock), its title track also reached to #1 at Rock radio. As a one year anniversary celebration of the LP, in June 2022 Rise Against surprise dropped a five-song EP, Nowhere Generation II — a propulsive, five-song follow-up that served to continue a critical dialogue between the band, their fans, and the world at large. After spending the better part of 2023 and 2024 in the studio, the band is primed for an exciting year in 2025.

NoCap Unveils ‘Before I Disappear Again’ Tour

0

Produced by Live Nation, the Before I Disappear Again Tour gets underway January 18, 2025 at Miami, FL’s Jackie Gleason Theater then travels through late February. Highlights include eagerly awaited stops at Atlanta, GA’s Tabernacle (January 23), New York City’s Irving Plaza (February 1), Chicago, IL’s House of Blues (February 5), Los Angeles, CA’s The Belasco (February 20), and San Francisco, CA’s The Fillmore (February 21).

General onsale begins on Friday, November 1, at 10:00 am (local). For complete details and ticket information, please visit www.nocap.com/tour.

The Before I Disappear Again Tour sees NoCap – who is also among the top-billed rap stars performing at the 107.5 WGCI Big Jam, set for Chicago, IL’s Wintrust Arena on Saturday, December 7 – celebrating the release earlier this year of his acclaimed second studio album, Before I Disappear Again, available everywhere now via Atlantic Records HERE. The album – which debuted at #2 on Billboard’s “Top Rap Albums” and #3 on “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” charts along with a top 20 debut on the overall Billboard 200 – includes such hit singles as “Maliboo,” “Yacht Party,” and “Baby Drake,” all joined by official music videos boasting over 10M combined views at YouTube. Hailed by HotNewHopHop as a “hyped up 23-track behemoth,” Before I Disappear Again also includes high-profile features from Quavo, French Montana, Rylo Rodriguez, Sleepy Hallow, SoFaygo, and D’Yani.

Similar to paint splattered on a canvas, NoCap splashes all of his pain, anxiety, stress, trouble, trauma, and truth onto the beat. Instead of manically utilizing a brush, he freestyles off the top of his head, channeling emotion too intense to overthink. The Multi-Platinum Mobile, AL maverick rapper and singer synthesizes melody out of discord and darkness, resonating on an intimate level with fans worldwide. Carving out a place of his own in the culture, his songs have stuck to a generation. He sent shockwaves through the game with a pair of RIAA Platinum-certified singles, “Ghetto Angels” and “Vaccine,” as well as a string of celebrated mixtapes including 2019’s The Backend Child (2019), The Hood Dictionary (2019), and Steel Human (2020). He catapulted into the Top 5 of Billboard’s “Top R&B Hip-Hop Albums” and “Top Rap Albums” charts in addition to crashing the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 with his full-length debut LP, Mr. Crawford (2022). NoCap further showed out on such Gold-certified bangers as Lil Baby’s “Dreams 2 Reality,” Quando Rondo’s “New Ones” (with), and Youngboy Never Broke Again’s “Outta Here Safe,” as well as his Billboard “Hot 100” debut, Rylo Rodriguez’s “Thang For You.” Receiving tastemaker praise, The FADER applauded his “teeth-gritting images of struggle,” and Pitchfork hailed his music as “both deeply personal and invitingly vague, somber and triumphant in equal measure.” Stacking up hundreds of millions of streams and views, selling out shows, and notching widespread acclaim, NoCap returned in 2024 with Before I Disappear Again, cutting deep and unearthing more of himself than ever before.

I’m growing up,” says NoCap. “I could be a different man in 2025. I’m just always trying to be a better artist. People don’t get to see a lot of me, but they do see me through my music. My fans will hear how I’m changing, and they’re with me. They’re moving as I move, because I’m never going to stop growing and learning.

Young Nudy Announces Headline Tour Kicking Off This December

0

Today, breakout ATL rapper Young Nudy announced a limited run of tour dates taking place this December. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on Wednesday, December 4 in Charlotte, NC at The Fillmore, with additional stops in Raleigh, Indianapolis, Nashville, and Houston. Special guest Babydrill will join Young Nudy on all dates.

Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale beginning Thursday, October 31 at 10am local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, November 1 at 10am local time at livenation.com.

This tour is on the heels of his latest single and video “John Wayne” featuring Metro Boomin and his most recent critically acclaimed album and one of his most popular projects to-date, Gumbo, which received glowing reviews from fans and critics such as Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Stereogum, XXL Magazine, and more. Gumbo is Nudy’s highest debuting album in his career and features his most mainstream, successful single “Peaches & Eggplants” featuring 21 Savage. After reaching the top spot on the US Hot 50 TikTok charts last July, the song peaked at #49 on the Billboard Hot 100, his first song to make this chart. Nudy is currently gearing up for a new album coming soon.

Born and raised in the heart of East Atlanta, breakout rapper Young Nudy has mastered his approach to rapping; he displays a variety of styles in his rap approach by blending a laid-back, but raw delivery with energetic flows. He first garnered massive attention with his 2016 mixtape Slimeball and following the success of that, he continued to release musically diverse projects including Slimeball 2 in 2017 featuring guest appearances from Juicy J and Peso in addition to his Nudyland mixtape released that same year which included production from Richie Souf and Pi’erre Bourne, and had features from Offset and Lil Yachty. In the mix of all that, Nudy’s major collaboration with his cousin 21 Savage on “Since When” also became a massive success. He continued his success with Slimeball 3 later that year and the critically acclaimed full-length collaboration with Bourne, Sli’merre, in 2019. Additionally, his mixtape Faded in the Booth was well-received for its more laid-back vibe.

In early 2020, Nudy came out with the mixtape Anyways. The project featured unique production and unconventional instrumentals that complemented the rapper’s energetic performances and darker lyrics. Nudy continued to explore different sounds in 2021 with his second studio album, Dr. EV4L. This record had a sinister, horrorcore vibe and featured collaborations with artists like Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, and G Herbo, focusing on eerie instrumentals and intense lyrical themes. Shortly after that release, Nudy dropped his third studio album, Rich Shooter, in August 2021. This album debuted in the Billboard 200 charts and moved away from horrorcore and embraced more experimental approaches while still maintaining a commercial appeal. With guest appearances from Future, 21 Lil Harold, Peewee Longway, and others, the album showcased Young Nudy exploring various styles. In 2022, he released his mixtape EA Monster, which also entered the Billboard 200 chart for Nudy and showcased a polished sound with futuristic synth elements and showcased Nudy’s improved rapping skills.

Young Nudy’s latest critically acclaimed album and one of his most popular projects to-date, Gumbo, was released in February 2023 and received glowing reviews from fans and critics such as Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Stereogum, XXL Magazine, and more. Gumbo took a different musical direction with minimal beats and production reminiscent of late-2000s hip-hop. All the tracks on the album were named after food, and it included guest appearances from Key Glock and 21 Savage. Gumbo is Nudy’s highest debuting album in his career and features his most mainstream, successful single “Peaches & Eggplants” featuring 21 Savage. After reaching the top spot on the US Hot 50 TikTok charts last July, the song peaked at #49 on the Billboard Hot 100, his first song to make this chart, and has accumulated 3.1 billion short form video views. “Peaches and Eggplants” has amassed over 271 million streams worldwide and has garnered over 76 million views on its music video. It also got a remix featuring Latto and Sexxy Red.

With the release of the single and video “John Wayne” featuring Metro Boomin this year, Nudy is gearing up for a new album coming soon.
