Relive Hip-Hop’s Greatest Moments with Dorothy’s Legendary JVC RC-M90 Boombox Print, Featuring Over 350 Iconic Artists
Released in 1981 and often hailed as the “King of Boomboxes,” the JVC RC-M90 holds a legendary status, not only as the cover star of LL Cool J’s Radio album but also as one of the most coveted boomboxes from the golden era of hip-hop. A newly released print from Dorothy now immortalizes this iconic boombox, celebrating pivotal moments in hip-hop history, all depicted within its classic design.
The intricate artwork hides scenes that capture the essence of hip-hop’s evolution. From DJ Kool Herc’s influential Back to School Jam to Grand Wizzard Theodore’s invention of scratching, and Sylvia Robinson assembling The Sugarhill Gang, this print transports fans to landmark events in hip-hop’s legacy. It even highlights the fierce rivalry of The Bridge Wars between Boogie Down Productions and the Juice Crew, as well as Kool Moe Dee’s famous rap battle against Busy Bee at Harlem World in 1981.
But this isn’t just about the East Coast. The print pays homage to over 350 artists, grouping them by their collaborative history and geography. West Coast legends like N.W.A, Ice-T, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 2Pac, and Kendrick Lamar stand alongside East Coast icons Run-D.M.C., Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, and Notorious B.I.G. The Southern scene, including OutKast, Lil Wayne, and T.I., as well as British hip-hop and grime artists Stormzy, Dizzee Rascal, and Little Simz, are also represented. There’s even a playful cameo from the Wu-Tang Clan’s dinosaur in the Gravel Pit video.
Printed in three colors on 120gsm uncoated art paper, this 50x70cm litho print is more than a piece of art; it’s a journey through hip-hop’s most iconic eras and figures. Perfect for any hip-hop lover, this unique piece captures the spirit of a culture that has defined generations.

The Midnight Special Archives Hit YouTube featuring Chuck Berry and the Bee Gees
In the 1970s, Burt Sugarman produced The Midnight Special, a late-night music variety show that brought rock and pop performances to television. Recently, Sugarman has begun uploading these classic performances to YouTube, where viewers can now revisit moments from legends like David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Tina Turner, Steely Dan, Blondie, and more. One standout in the archive features Chuck Berry and the Bee Gees performing “Reelin’ and Rockin'”—originally a B-side to Berry’s “Sweet Little Sixteen” in 1957. Filmed on October 12, 1973, the performance showcases Berry’s energy, backed by a tight band and a strong solo by Maurice Gibb, creating a unique combination that will still blow music fans away.

The Must-Haves In Trendy Baby Fashion
By Mitch Rice
The Must-Haves In Trendy Baby Fashion
Babies dressing up can be quite a fun thing for parents. Right from little bodysuits to cuddly sweaters, you name it and it just won’t stop; it’s just endless adorableness. Be it fashionable or comfortable outfits for babies, you’ll find the most trendy options suited for daily wear or some special occasions.
Here’s your guide to must-have baby clothes and how to dress your little girl and boy, stylish and adorable.
1. Comfy Rompers for Casual Wear
Rompers always come back as one of the most common items in a baby’s outfit wardrobe because they are so comfortable and simple to wear. Besides being comfortable, they come in different styles which make them both stylish and practical. Choose rompers with fun patterns like polka dots or stripes, and cute little animal prints. Baby girl clothes are made complete with rompers featuring ruffles and floral prints that add a soft finish to the garment. Baby boy clothes, however, will feature mostly earthy tones like navy blue or olive green and with fun themes in dinosaurs or trucks.
Rompers are great for playtime and naptime as they safely cover babies and at the same time let them move freely. These clothes are also quite easy to manage diapers in with the help of simple snap buttons, making rompers one of the best choices for functionality and fashion as well.
2. Soft Knit Sweaters for Chilly Days
Baby fashions change with the seasons, and a soft knit sweater does the trick to add warmth while keeping the baby looking stylish on those cooler days. Baby girl clothes may come in sweaters for more cute embellishments, like bows, or flower patterns, whereas baby boy clothes could come in bold colours and even simple stripes. Both these styles can easily be teamed with soft leggings or stretchable jeans for a totally effortless look.
Two-knit sweaters are warm, breathable, and soft on sensitive skin, making them perfect for layering. Layer with a romper under the sweater or with baby jeans for a layered, fashionable look.
3. Cuteness Overload: The Classic Overalls
One of the most traditional baby styles is overall; regardless of your choice of denim, cotton, or corduroy, overalls will automatically turn around the baby girl’s getup. In baby boy clothes, overalls with subtle patterns or pale colors can soften the appearance of the overall look. With overalls, baby boy clothes range widely in the selection based on classic blue or earthy tones.
Overalls can be worn under the simplest t-shirts or bodysuits or under sweaters. They are stylish in dressing a baby, but they are very durable and comfortable, so great for playtime adventures.
4. Printed Bodysuits: A Staple for Any Wardrobe
Bodysuits are the most versatile pieces of clothing for baby girls and an everyday essential. They come in various colours and patterns, which can be teamed up with almost anything under the sun. Baby girl clothes may include bodysuits with floral prints and soft pastels or simple cute animals, while a baby boy would love seeing bold prints, simple stripes, or classic colors like grey and navy.
These are also quite practical because they can be layered with jackets or sweaters in cold seasons and later worn without covers during warm seasons. Bodysuits help make dressing easy while keeping the babies comfortable and stylish for the whole day.
5. Stylish Jackets for Layering
A light jacket is an essential element for layering purposes, especially on breezy days or cooler evenings. Versatility characterises the baby jackets and comes in a variety of styles- denim, fleece, and warm puffy. Also, among the cutie pink bomber jackets, there are sweet words like “Daddy’s Little Girl.” Soft denim jackets make great additions that can even be worn over a dress or romper. Generally, boy baby clothes jackets come in darker colours, or simple plaid styles that give a very cool and slack look.
Layering with jackets makes it easy to keep your baby warm without sacrificing style. They’re also great for adding a cool twist to any outfit!
6. Footed Pyjamas for Style and Comfort
Night’s super comfort wear, not to forget cuteness, too – footed pyjamas. These keep the babies warm and cosy throughout the night. Onesies for baby girls would mostly have lovely floral prints or hearts in them, whereas for baby boys, there could be a rugged look of rockets or animals.
One of the easy features of footed pyjamas is that they are very easy to slip on the baby and keep babies covered from head to toe; this would keep them warm and secure. They can also be used for lounging around the house, and it’s quite all right to wear them for playtime. This makes them a very versatile addition to any baby’s wardrobe.
7. Cute Dresses and Button-Up Shirts for Special Occasions
For something special, dresses and button-up shirts are perfect for family gatherings, holidays, or photoshoots. For baby girl clothes, there is a range of adorable dresses with ruffles and lace plus bright patterns that would add an extra flair to any occasion. For baby boy clothes, button-up shirts in plaid or soft cotton create a charming and polished look.
A couple of pairs of matching tights or leggings and minimal accessories like little bows or headbands complete the dress. Infants for boys will seem perfectly stylish when they carry button-up shirts along with tiny pants or jeans to go together.
8. Seasonal Accessories to Top off the Outfit
Accessories really give the finishing touches to any look. The various baby girl clothes can be complemented with a headband, a hat, or a soft scarf for that playful look on the baby. Likewise, baby boy clothes can be finished nicely with cute caps or tiny beanies. Baby sunglasses are a bonus to make it look very nice.
Mittens and knit hats keep your baby warm and add style for cooler months. During summer, sun hats and sunglasses protect your baby from the sun while keeping them looking adorable.
Conclusion
Dressing your baby in funky outfits is really fun and very useful as well. When you combine casual classics like rompers, bodysuits, and PJs with special pieces such as dresses, button-up shirts, and trendy jackets, you can come up with a wardrobe for your little one that will keep him or her comfortable, cute, and set for any situation. With baby girl clothes and baby boy clothes, you surely won’t run out of ideas on how to dress your baby adorably yet stay on trend.
That does not mean you have to stress about creating versatility and style in your baby’s wardrobe. Just with a few key pieces and accessories, your little bundle of joy will be kept warm and trendy at the same time, making for picture-perfect moments at every juncture. Enjoy the process of finding the best baby clothes and celebrating every special stage of life for your child!

Daft Punk & Leiji Matsumoto’s ‘Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem’ to Be Screened in Cinemas Globally for One Night Only
After select fan and festival screenings this year, the 4K remastered version of Daft Punk & Leiji Matsumoto’s 2003 anime masterpiece Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem will be screened in cinemas globally for one night only on December 12, 2024 in partnership with Trafalgar Releasing. Says Marc Allenby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, “We’re excited to bring Daft Punk’s iconic Interstella 5555, now fully remastered in stunning 4K, to cinemas for this one-night-only global event. This is a rare opportunity to experience the film on the big screen, along with accompanying Daft Punk music videos, and we can’t wait to share it with audiences everywhere.”
Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem was created by Daft Punk and Cédric Hervet in collaboration with Leiji Matsumoto and Toei Animation, and tells the story of the abduction of an alien music band by an evil human character who has dark plans. Essentially an anime visual album, Interstella features the entirety of Daft Punk’s seminal 2001 album Discovery as its soundtrack, including iconic anthems such as “One More Time,” “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger,” and “Veridis Quo.” Says Shinji Shimizu of Toei Animation, who produced the film, “‘One More Time’ was playing all over the town at that time! I felt so proud that I wanted to shout to people on the street, ‘We are making its animation now!’” As a visual album, the film was cut into individual music videos, and until this year it has been very rare to see the film in its entirety in cinemas.
To celebrate this global event, Discovery: Interstella 5555 Edition will be released in limited physical quantities. This physical edition of Discovery will contain the original Japanese edition artwork, stickers and Daft Club card, which became a true collectors’ item around its original release. The limited release will consist of 5555 gold vinyl, 5555 numbered CDs, and 25,000 black vinyl.
Along with this special album re-release and film screening comes a limited-edition merch run featuring the Crescendolls, the animated band at the center of Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. Items are available now through Daft Punk’s official shop.
“Veridis Quo” a standout track from Discovery was used widely over the summer in social content, and can now be heard in a global advertising campaign for Chanel N°5 called “A rendez-vous” directed by Luca Guadagnino, featuring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. Since the track’s original release, it has also been widely sampled in music from artists all over the world including Maluma, G-Dragon, and Jazmine Sullivan, and used in live sets from DJs including John Summit.
Earlier this year, Apple Music named Discovery as the #23 best album of all time. It has also landed on best album lists from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Rhapsody, Resident Advisory, BBC Radio 1, British GQ. Guardian critic Alexis Petridis wrote in 2020 that “Daft Punk were incredibly prescient: play Discovery and it sounds utterly contemporary.”
Discovery has been certified Gold in the US, Platinum in Japan, 2x Platinum in the UK and 3x Platinum in France.
The one night only global screening of Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem will be screened in 800+ cinemas in 40+ countries, and tickets will go on sale Wednesday, November 13. More information can be found here.

The Flaming Lips initially unveiled Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots on July 16, 2002. It went on to emerge as their “biggest-selling album so far” and earn a Gold certification from the RIAA. Indicative of the record’s impact, the epic closer “Approaching Pavonis Mons by Balloon (Utopia Planitia)” garnered a GRAMMY Award in the category of “Best Rock Instrumental Performance.” 22 years after its arrival, signature classics such as the Gold Certified “Do You Realize??” “Fight Test” and “Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell” remain staples in concert and on streaming platforms.
American Head was produced, as always, by longtime collaborator Dave Fridmann and The Lips and is comprised of thirteen cinematic tracks. Among them “God and the Policeman,” featuring backing vocals from country superstar Kacey Musgraves.
The band will continue performing Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots in its entirety in Australia, the UK, Europe & Asia in 2025. For more information and to grab tickets, visit https://www.flaminglips.com/#songkick-section.
Formed in Oklahoma City, OK in 1983, The Flaming Lips have since become one of the most iconic, influential, unpredictable, and vital forces in American alternative rock music. The band has garnered three GRAMMY Awards, a Tony nomination, and an RIAA Gold-certified Record for Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. Q Magazine named them one of the “50 Bands to See Before You Die.” The band has made countless late-night television appearances, appeared in a Super Bowl commercial, contributed to many film soundtracks, and collaborated with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Kacey Musgraves, Yoko Ono, The Chemical Brothers, and many more. Most recently, The LIPS have recorded an album of Nick Cave covers featuring vocalist Nell Smith called “Where The Viaduct Blooms.” They have set countless records, broken attendance records, have a hometown street named in their honor, created spectacular interactive audio/visual events now regarded as legendary. Frontman Wayne Coyne has been recognized for works of art that graced many LIPS album covers along with his traveling art exhibit (and subsequent album) “The King’s Mouth,” an audiovisual art installation that has been featured in many contemporary art museums around the US. Their latest LP, <strong American Head, marks a return to a more melodic and song-oriented body of work and has critically been lauded as their best work in years, placing on several “Year End/Best Of lists” around the world. Even after a combination of 23 studio recordings, 16 singles, 11 compilations, 12 EPs and 11 self-released experimental collaborative oddities released in various forms, quantities and unique mediums, The Flaming Lips remain in a creative apex that has no bounds. To that end, they have become an American Treasure and created a genre all to themselves.
