Weight Loss Tracker: Disciplined and Dedicated Way of Losing Weight!

0

By Mitch Rice

If you find it difficult to lose weight, don’t worry, you are not the first one. Many people are experiencing the same issue due to poor lifestyle habits, a lack of dedication required for weight loss, or simply not knowing what to do. Today, we will explore a straightforward yet practical approach to weight loss. How about incorporating a weight loss tracker into your life? It is a simple step, but the impact is significant. In other words, you will be tracking everything you do to lose those extra pounds – from what you eat, how much you eat, when you eat, your sleep pattern, and your exercise schedule – essentially, everything. But the question is, how do you execute these?

How to track your weight loss journey?

Tracking your weight loss journey should not be difficult; if it is, then you are not doing it correctly. There is something wrong. To make things easy for you, simply follow our recommendations, and you will achieve the desired results promptly.

  • Take a pen and paper and write down what you eat every day. You should do this every day, since your meals change daily. Each meal will have a different calorie count, fiber, protein, vitamins, and other essential nutrients. You need to know your intake. Do this for a week. If you find writing down information to be too tedious, then use your laptop and create an Excel sheet. If you still want a better solution, consider using specific apps on your phone. There are many service providers offering weight loss tracking apps. Go through online reviews to see which of these apps is popular. Install the app and follow the steps to get started.
  • Once the week is over, you have a clear idea of your calorie intake. Based on this information, you should modify your food intake. You can contact a dietician for a personalised diet chart. Follow this chart and track your calorie intake again. Portion control is a great way to lose weight. It is a simple thing to do, but most of us fail to execute it. Temptation is the root of all evil.
  • Doing the same thing again and again can be boring. Hence, you need to keep yourself motivated. But how do you motivate yourself? We recommend setting realistic goals that are achievable and attainable. And once you reach it, treat yourself to a new book, a manicure, or a haircut. Simple pleasures in life are often the best pleasures.

Final words

Successful weight loss requires dedication and commitment. Once you understand how to approach and manage the matter, losing that excess fat becomes easier. Keep in mind that losing weight and staying fit is a lifelong journey. You must be disciplined for the rest of your life to remain healthy and active. Small and simple changes in your daily life will have a significant impact on your well-being. Hence, you need to be conscious about what you do. Are you ready to begin your weight loss tracking journey?

Oliver Marson Descends Into Noirish Art Pop On Haunting New EP ‘Into The Darkness’

0

London-based art-pop singer-songwriter Oliver Marson today releases new EP ‘Into The Darkness’ via High Road Records, led by new single and EP title track, ‘Into The Darkness’.

“This song was the initial spark for the EP,” Marson explains regarding the title track. “A bit like Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, it explores and confronts the misguided emotions that followed this personal catastrophe. The artwork, a burning house, visually represents the broken place from which this music emerged – a feeling of losing the only person I knew amidst a world that felt like it was ending.”

Draping noirish pop arrangements and bruised crooner vocals in smoke and shadow, the EP pulls Marson’s sound somewhere between a haunted cabaret and woozy synth-led balladry.

Marson’s independently released 2023 full length ‘Why Did I Choose This?’ examined the grotesqueries of British modern life through satirical detachment. This new era is a move inward – with the ‘Into The Darkness’ EP instead reckoning with the existential confusion that arose in the aftermath of a breakup, as Marson explains:

“While the EP originates from a place of desperation, the process of creating it became an act of transfiguration of the soul and an internal healing of these emotional demons. The EP is about the raw act of exposing myself, embracing vulnerability, and being utterly honest with my feelings. My aim was to transform this darkness into something beautiful. There is a part of myself that only truly comes alive when I’m making music. That is where I find the value, and it’s in the creative process that I can fully tap into and express the rawest, most vulnerable, and sometimes darkest corners of my being.”

‘Into The Darkness’ threads together themes of tech obsession, identity dissolution, and gothic romance, with tracks tackling whistleblowing, collapsing systems, and deluded self-help culture, all exploring what it means to lose control in a world obsessed with performance – delivered with the off-kilter noir glamour of London after dark.

Lyrically, Marson drew from his gothic literary heroes – Byron, Baudelaire, Keats – blending their romantic darkness with sonic cues from Serge Gainsbourg, Nick Cave, and Jack Ladder, the result is one of Marson’s most richly textured works yet.

The opening track ‘Whistleblower’ introduces the EP with a sense of mounting paranoia and dread. The mood deepens on ‘Madeline’, a smoky, vampiric duet with Jessica Winter that plunges into the claustrophobia and self-annihilation of obsessive love. From there, ‘Jeremy’ offers a synth-flecked moment of goth-pop grandeur, before the EP descends into its deceptively buoyant closing statement, title track ‘Into The Darkness’.

Oliver Marson is an artist in continual motion, restlessly shaping and reshaping his world. ‘Into The Darkness’ is another clear, compelling step forward.

Oliver Marson’s new EP ‘Into The Darkness’ is out now, released 13th November via High Road Records.

Houston’s Reggie Announces Debut Album ‘UNDRA’ And Drops Soulful New Single “Sometimes”

0

ouston native singer, songwriter and producer reggie has announced his debut album ‘UNDRA’, out January 23rd, 2026, via RCA Records. ‘UNDRA’ is the self described audition tape and reintroduction to the world of reggie, also known as Reginald Helms Jr. The album title is also his middle name affectionately coined by his aunt as a unique spelling of André and pronounced ON-dray or AHN-dray. A refreshed take on his artistry, ‘UNDRA’ narrates the evolution of reggie as an artist and overall creative.

Out today is the new single “Sometimes”, a relaxed groove that posits a happier facet to reggie’s universe thus far. On the track, reggie leads a choir in a back and forth, contemplating the comforts of being alone versus the community felt amongst loved ones. The single follows the release of “Headstone”, also known as “NEW HEADSTONE need MIX” and “congrats!”, two haunting, soul baring earworms released earlier this year in conjunction with the news of reggie’s signing to RCA Records, where he joins a stable of era defining young artists that includes Steve Lacy, SZA and Blood Orange.

His official audition, or reintroduction, ‘UNDRA’ unspools over the course of a series of rehearsals and trials with 13 tracks that reconfigure soul, hip hop, R&B, funk, gospel and even drum and bass into a sumptuous, slow simmering gumbo. Meanwhile, reggie’s thespian experience, combined with his creative partners, influenced his artistic and intentional visuals and imagery for the album. Overall, ‘UNDRA’ may be framed as an audition to find the self, but along the way, reggie produces a work of compassion and soul searching as a remedy for those in need of spiritual buoyancy.

Houston artist reggie drops new single “Sometimes” and announces debut album ‘UNDRA’ arriving January 23rd on RCA Records. The 13 track album blends soul, hip hop, R&B, funk and gospel into a stunning debut.

Arkells Drop Infectious New Single “What Good?” As First Taste Of Upcoming 2026 Album

0

9X JUNO Award winners Arkells release their infectious new track, “What Good?” out now via Universal Music Canada and Virgin Music Group. Full of conviction and drive, “What Good?” marks the introduction to Arkells’ forthcoming new album, due in 2026.

Following two weeks of social teasers, and MLB World Series bumpers, Arkells premiered the song live for a select group of fans in a local Toronto garage rehearsal space a mere 48 hours before release. The tone of the event speaks to the spirit of the song, and the up-close and personal experiences it longs for.

“What Good?” aims to ask the blunt questions on the noise of modern day life: What good is the comment section? What good is rage bait disguised as debate? What good is hustle culture if it only rewards grifters and conmen?

“The song doesn’t pretend to have neat answers – but it points toward where meaning might still be found,” says frontman Max Kerman. “The sun, the moon, the neon glow of your neighborhood bar. Things we can share, things that feel real.”

Coinciding with the release, Arkells drop the accompanying music video for “What Good?” directed by Arkells (and their shadows). Further music, album info, and tour dates to come.

Whether they’re rocking stadiums, making a beeline for the discotheque, or gathering around the campfire, the implicit message of Arkells is always the same: everyone is welcome here. Since the beginning, Arkells have never wavered in their mission to be the house band that soundtracks the greatest nights of your life and provides emotional support in your darkest hours. And that communal spirit is reflected in an ever-evolving sound that hits all the perennial pleasure points – fusing the anthemic power of alt-rock, the pulpit-shaking passion of vintage soul, the off-the-cuff intimacy of singer-songwriter music, the urbane edge of 21st-century indie, and the futurist aesthetics of modern R&B. Thanks to that eclectic ethos, Arkells have continued to evolve, while making everyone feel right at home. As one of the most heavily rotated acts on radio, and all-time record holders of the JUNO Award for “Group of the Year,” Arkells have extended their reach beyond borders by infiltrating all corners of pop culture; from global sports telecasts and top-tier video games to the stages of Coachella and Bonnaroo.

But the band’s longevity is ultimately a function of their commitment to never coasting on past glories and to always live completely in the moment. Even through their impressive history together, Arkells still approach every gig as an opportunity to prove themselves to the unconverted; as they’re fond of saying, each time they take the stage, “we understand the assignment.” The first rule of rock ‘n’ roll is to play every show like it’s your last – but as Arkells prove night after night, it’s just as important to hold onto the unbridled energy and enthusiasm of your first.

Philadelphia’s SubSpaceHiWay Blends Shoegaze And Indie Pop On Dreamy New EP ‘Fiendomme’

0

Philadelphia music artist SubSpaceHiWay just dropped their new EP ‘Fiendomme’, a 2-track double side release that explores a mix of shoegaze and indie pop with descriptive storytelling lyrics. The songs are about love, heartbreak and the journey of finding yourself, told from their perspective as a nonbinary artist.

The songs each carry their own weight on the EP. “Cabernet” features upbeat, stabbing piano chords beneath a horn and string section that give it a uniquely lively and full musical feel. Layered vocal work ties it all together. Another new offering on the EP is “A Nonbinary Ballad”, which takes things into a more shoegaze direction. The song starts with jangly electric guitar and mellow, spacey vocals that almost make you drift away, while the layered harmonies give it a dreamy feel unique to SubSpaceHiWay.

SubSpaceHiWay has been making music since they were 10, learning guitar, singing and later teaching themselves how to record and produce. They pull inspiration from a host of different backgrounds to create a sound that’s completely their own. With ‘Fiendomme’, SubSpaceHiWay showcases a mix of fun, heartfelt and creative music that make a strong first impression.

Before this season of songs, Buffalo Traffic Jam released a pair of 2025 singles — “Milestone” and “Strangers Now”— which followed their November breakthrough, Forgot Your Roots,” a heart-wrenching mix of emotional rawness and cinematic grandeur. 2024 saw the release of their self-titled debut EP, a culmination of all that had been brewing since they came together as Montana State University students united by a love for storytelling, the beauty of acoustic sound, and the natural wonder surrounding them in Big Sky Country.

Of late, Buffalo Traffic Jam have been bringing their music to wider audiences both at their festival debuts at Under the Big Sky in Whitefish, MT and Salt Lake City’s Red West Festival, as well as support slots on a generation-hopping array of talent including the legendary Steve Earle, Alabama outlaw country artist Jamey Johnson, and Texas red dirt band Shane Smith & The Saints. Their current run with Dylan Gossett wraps up November 16 in Phoenix, AZ ahead of their set at Tortuga Music Festival in April. Vienna Music Scene Infrastructure for Touring Musicians and Visiting Artists

0

By Mitch Rice

Vienna’s classical heritage is legendary, but the city’s contemporary music scene experiences a quiet renaissance most industry watchers have missed. As touring schedules expand across Central Europe and Vienna cements its position as a regional hub for festivals and album launches, musicians and crews face a familiar logistical puzzle: how to navigate a multi-day residency or festival appearance without dragging luggage everywhere. The solution lies in understanding Vienna’s infrastructure and the emerging support ecosystem for traveling artists.

Emerging Venues Reshaping Vienna’s Touring Circuit

Arena Wien and the Post-Industrial Wave

Arena Wien, housed in a converted slaughterhouse complex, has become a magnet for mid-tier international acts testing European markets. The venue’s flexible capacity (ranging from 400 to 3,000) makes it ideal for artists graduating from club circuits but not yet ready for stadium runs. Recent bookings have included genre-crossing lineups—from post-punk revivalists to electronic collectives—that reflect Vienna’s appetite for boundary-pushing programming.

The surrounding Erdberg district has evolved into a pre- and post-show gathering zone, with rehearsal spaces and gear rental shops clustered within walking distance. For bands arriving with minimal equipment and relying on backline services, the neighborhood offers a logistically efficient base. Options for bag storage Vienna have expanded here, with several independent operators near transit hubs allowing musicians to drop personal items before soundchecks and reclaim them post-gig.

Porgy & Bess and the Jazz-Adjacent Ecosystem

This intimate club in the first district has anchored Vienna’s jazz and improvised music community for over two decades. Its roster leans experimental—expect saxophone quartets deconstructing Balkan folk motifs or turntablists collaborating with chamber ensembles. The venue’s artist hospitality includes partnerships with nearby lockers and storage points, recognizing that many performers arrive directly from airport connections or need to stash gear between afternoon workshops and evening sets.

Festival Infrastructure and Mobility Demands

Vienna’s festival calendar has thickened considerably, with events like Waves Vienna (focused on emerging acts) and Popfest drawing multi-national lineups. These multi-day affairs create specific challenges: artists often perform one night, attend industry panels the next day, then fly out immediately. Carrying a full touring backpack through panel sessions or networking brunches is impractical, driving demand for short-term storage solutions near festival venues and co-working spaces.

Services like Qeepl have integrated into this workflow, offering app-based drop-off at partner locations—cafés, hostels, and shops—that align with artists’ irregular schedules. The model mirrors the gig economy’s flexibility, a natural fit for musicians accustomed to non-traditional hours.

Practical Considerations for Touring Crews

Transport and Timing

Vienna’s public transit network is musician-friendly, with night buses running until 5 a.m. and the U-Bahn resuming early. Venues are typically within two transfers of major accommodation clusters in Neubau and Josefstadt. However, instrument transport complicates matters—double bass cases and synth rigs don’t fit comfortably on trams during rush hour.

Many crews now adopt a split logistics approach: bulky gear travels via venue-coordinated vans, while personal items and day-use essentials are managed separately. This bifurcation has normalized temporary storage as a tour budget line item, especially for acts playing consecutive nights at different venues.

Cost Realities

Accommodation in Vienna runs €70–150 per night for mid-range hotels, with hostel beds starting around €25. Artist budgets often prioritize location over amenities, favoring walkable proximity to venues over breakfast buffets. This calculation extends to baggage: paying €5–8 for daily storage often beats the cost of returning to a distant hostel between commitments.

Recording and Rehearsal Spaces

Vienna’s studio scene serves both local acts and touring bands seeking to capture European dates on tape. Tonzauber and Groove Garden offer hourly rates (€30–60) and have cultivated reputations for accommodating drop-in sessions. Bands arriving with pre-production demos can book mixing time during off-days, turning logistical downtime into creative output.

Rehearsal rooms follow a similar model, with lockout spaces available for €15–25 per hour. The catch: most lack secure storage, so crews either haul gear daily or negotiate overnight parking for vans—a gamble in Vienna’s permit-heavy districts.

Why Vienna Matters for 2025 Touring Routes?

The city sits at the crossroads of Germany’s club circuit, Italy’s summer festivals, and Eastern European markets experiencing rapid growth. Acts routing through Central Europe increasingly anchor Vienna dates as pivot points, using the city’s airport connectivity (direct flights to over 180 destinations) to hopscotch between clusters.

This hub-and-spoke model amplifies the need for flexible baggage solutions. A band might fly Vienna–Berlin for a Wednesday show, return Thursday for a Friday Arena Wien slot, then depart Saturday for a Croatian festival. Storing non-essential luggage in Vienna between legs eliminates the need to drag winter coats to Mediterranean stages or re-check bags unnecessarily.

The Unspoken Infrastructure

Beyond official venues and studios, Vienna’s artist community relies on informal networks—Facebook groups coordinating gear swaps, WhatsApp threads sharing last-minute crash pads, and Instagram stories flagging pop-up jam sessions. This DIY ethos persists even as the city’s music economy professionalizes, creating a hybrid culture where boutique festivals coexist with basement shows.

For outsiders, tapping into these networks requires advance research and local contacts. Publicists and tour managers increasingly budget time for relationship-building, recognizing that Vienna’s tight-knit scene rewards repeat visitors with access and opportunities unavailable to one-off acts.

Gear Rental and Backline Services

Vienna’s backline market has matured, with companies like Stage Rental Vienna stocking everything from vintage Fender amps to modular synth rigs. Pricing is competitive—a full drum kit rents for around €80 per day, while guitar amps start at €30. For international acts, renting locally beats the airline fees and damage risk of hauling personal gear across continents.

This ecosystem also supports hybrid setups: a guitarist might fly with a pedalboard but rent the amplifier, or a DJ brings USB drives while relying on venue-supplied CDJs. The key is advance communication—venue techs appreciate detailed riders specifying exact models and configurations.

Brooke Moriber Explores Faith And Identity On Stirring New Single “Your Jesus”

0

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Brooke Moriber has released her latest single “Your Jesus”, a powerful track that marks a new chapter in her evolution. Combining her Broadway born vocal prowess and intimate storytelling with a fresh pop-country sound, Moriber delivers an incisive and emotionally charged anthem that explores themes of surrender, identity and the complex intersections of faith, love and self-worth.

With vivid lyricism and a soaring chorus, Moriber reflects on what happens when someone else’s idea of salvation becomes your own and whether the real redemption lies in finding your own path rather than accepting someone else’s. The track balances vulnerability and strength through layered instrumentation, rich harmonies and Moriber’s signature clarion voice.

“Your Jesus” showcases the singer-songwriter at her most authentic, crafting a song that invites listeners to question, reflect and ultimately discover their own truth. This release demonstrates Moriber’s continued growth as an artist unafraid to tackle profound subjects with grace and honesty.
