Elvis Costello Extends “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello” Tour With 22 New Dates

Elvis Costello has extended his “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello” tour with 22 new East Coast and Midwest dates starting September 18th in Bethlehem, PA and running through October 22nd in Omaha, NE.

As previously announced, the first leg of the “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello” tour, performed by Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, spans June 12th in Seattle, WA through Miami Beach, FL on July 12th,

As the playful billing suggests, the show will feature numbers drawn from record releases from “My Aim Is True” in 1977 to “Blood & Chocolate” in 1986, along with other surprises.

Those nine years saw the first appearance of some of Elvis Costello’s most renowned compositions from “Watching The Detectives” to “I Want You”, along with songs that have remained in The Imposters’ live repertoire over the last 20 or more years, including “Alison,” “Man Out Of Time” and “Brilliant Mistake.”

Asked about the surprising theme of this tour, Costello responded:

“For any songwriter, it has to be a compliment if people want to hear songs written up to fifty years ago. Among them, “Radio Soul,” the first draft of what eventually became “Radio Radio.”

Regarding the decision to sharpen the focus on a specific period of time, Costello reminded us:

“You can expect the unexpected and the faithful in equal measure. Don’t forget this show is “Performed by Elvis Costello & The Imposters”, an ensemble which includes three people who first recorded this music and two more who bring something entirely new. They are nobody’s tribute band.

The Imposters are a living, breathing, swooning, kicking and screaming rock and roll band who can turn their hands to a pretty ballad when the opportunity arises.”

Costello concluded:

“If there is an encore and we play, “Farewell, OK”, it probably means some of those “Early Songs” will have been performed in your city for the very last time. I don’t want to go back, I want to bring these songs into the present day, once more, in the event they are ever pushed out of the way by the next number that I write.

You could say time is running out but only time will tell.

Don’t be late, the band hits at eight.”

This tour follows the fall 2024 release of “King Of America & Other Realms” – a 6-CD anthology that tells the story of that 1986 album and the music to which it led. The “King Of America” songs are expected to be heard in the mid-show interlude, along with songs written as long ago as 1975 and even some of those “pretty ballads” that Costello has promised.

Heart Announces Additional ‘Royal Flush Tour 2025’ Dates With Special Guest Todd Rundgren

The Royal Flush Tour 2025 continues. Following their electrifying performances earlier this  year in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Vancouver, Edmonton, Boston and New York City’s Radio City Music Hall HEART announces an additional run of dates as the tour continues. This highly anticipated next leg will see the band embark on August 8 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA and continue through August 30 at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY. The tour rolls on with appearances scheduled in Bakersfield, Akron, Kansas City as well as a performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

With a legendary career spanning five plus decades, HEART has cemented their place in music history, selling over 35 million albums worldwide and delivering 20 electrifying Top 40 singles, while racking up a well-deserved array of accolades and awards including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honor and a Lifetime Achievement Grammy. HEART continues to ignite the stage, performing their beloved, iconic and chart-dominating anthems—including “Magic Man,” “Barracuda,” “Crazy on You,” and “These Dreams.”

The current members of HEART feature Ann Wilson (lead vocals and flute), Nancy Wilson (rhythm lead and acoustic guitar, mandolin, mandola, autoharp, blues harp, backing and lead vocals) Ryan Wariner (lead and rhythm guitar), Ryan Waters (lead and rhythm guitar), Paul Moak (lead and rhythm guitar, keyboards, mandolin, banjo and backing vocals), Tony Lucido (bass and backing vocals) and Sean Lane (drums and bike).

Cypress Hill And Atmosphere Announce ‘Dank Daze Of Summer’ Tour With Lupe Fiasco And The Pharcyde

Summer 2025 just got even busier for the West Coast hip-hop legends Cypress Hill as they announce today, they’ll be hitting the road for their month-long Dank Daze of Summer Tour with hip-hop duo, Atmosphere. Shows kick off on August 8 in St. Augustine, Florida, and will take them across the country hitting Charlotte, Baltimore, Asbury Park and more, before wrapping in Boise, ID on August 29.

Joining Cypress Hill and Atmosphere will be Grammy Award-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco, and influential, LA-based hip-hop act The Pharcyde. Each show will be a night full of hits giving fans a memorable experience and leaving them wanting more. In addition to these dates, Cypress Hill and Atmosphere are also set to take the stage at select festival stops along the way, including the Minnesota State Fair on August 23 and Reggae Rise Up Oregon on August 30th.

Public on-sale for the Dank Daze of Summer Tour will begin Friday, April 25 at 10AM local time. Official artist pre–sales for Cypress Hill and Atmosphere will be available starting Wednesday, April 23 at 10AM local time through Thursday, April 24 at 11:59PM using codes ‘INSANE’ and ‘SUNSHINE’ respectively. In addition to hitting the road this summer, Cypress Hill has had a massive year in the works, keeping fans fed with new projects and upcoming releases. Cypress Hill and the London Symphony Orchestra: Black Sunday Live at the Royal Albert Hall, the feature-length concert film, was released as a special limited-run theatrical event on March 30, 31, and April 2, screening in over 500 select theaters across the U.S. and Canada. Building on that momentum, the group’s full-length live album of the same performance will drop June 6. Witnessed only by thousands of Cypress devotees, the album allows fans all over the globe to experience the magic created when the legendary Black Sunday album meets the power of the renowned 70-piece LSO. Today Dark Star Orchestra announces its 21-date Summer Tour with plans to crisscross the Midwest and East Coast with a mix of outdoor amphitheaters, indoor theaters, and festivals. DSO continues the Grateful Dead concert celebration with over 3300 shows under its belt. The tour announcement is highlighted by two specific ‘venue recreations’ as they’ll perform a historic Deer Creek show at Connor Prairie in Fisher, Indiana and a historic Merriweather Grateful Dead show when they debut at The Chrysalis at Merriweather Park in Columbia, MD.

With his signature blend of technical wizardry, sonic ambition, and layered harmonies so thick you could spread them on toast, Baker helped shape the sound of rock in the ’70s and ’80s.

While headlines will always remember him for that six-minute Queen epic, the late, great Baker was much more than a “Galileo” in the control room. Here are five lesser-known facts about the man who made rock sound bigger, stranger, and, somehow, more human.

1. He started at 14—yes, 14!—at Decca Studios
Long before the platinum plaques and Grammy nods, Baker was just a teenager pushing tea carts at Decca Records. But he wasn’t just fetching cuppas—he was absorbing everything. By the time most kids were thinking about O-levels, Baker was sitting in with legends like Gus Dudgeon and Tony Visconti. By his early 20s, he was engineering hits for Free and T. Rex.
