The iconic Mariposa Folk Festival returns July 3 to 5 with a superb lineup that includes Father John Misty, Sarah Harmer, Sharon Van Etten, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Taj Mahal, Billy Bragg, Ocie Elliott, Steve Earle and much more!

Mariposa Folk Festival returns to Tudhope Park in Orillia with a powerful lineup that was unveiled today. Tickets for Mariposa are on sale via the festival website.

“We are thrilled to invite music fans of all ages to come together on the shores of beautiful Lake Couchiching to enjoy the incredible music, reconnect with old friends, and make some new ones.” said Mariposa Folk Festival President, Pam Carter. “This year’s theme is Sounds Like Home, capturing how the music and the community vibe at the festival make it like home to you, wherever you are from.  Whether you’re a longtime festival goer or a first-timer looking to discover your next favourite artist, Mariposa wraps us all in a warm blanket, just like coming home from a long time away.“

Inspired by the theme Sounds Like Home, Artistic Director Spencer Shewen crafted a lineup that comes straight from the heart.

“This year, I really wanted to speak to something that’s always been at the heart of Mariposa: real music made by real people. There’s no A.I. here… just real musicians who’ve spent years honing their craft”. Shewen adds “When I was putting this lineup together, I kept coming back to what a summer festival should feel like for our audience. It’s about going on a journey – letting loose, relaxing, discovering new artists, creating memories, making new friends, and forgetting about the outside world for a while. I truly believe this year’s lineup does exactly that. It’s an exciting mix of artists at the top of their game and fresh voices who are just beginning to break through. It’s current and future household names. It’s both past and future Juno/Grammy winners. It’s a group of performers we should all be proud to host at Mariposa Folk Festival this Summer”.

Arkells Headline Exclusive Hamilton Club Show For “Skip To The Good Part(y) x JUNOS”

Arkells will headline the exclusive “Skip To The Good Part(y) x JUNOS” event on March 28 in Hamilton, Ontario. The one-night-only celebration takes place ahead of the 55th Annual JUNO Awards and offers a small group of fans an intimate club performance in a secret downtown location.

Presented by Skip, the Official Delivery Partner of the 2026 JUNO Awards, the event brings together Canadian music, local food, and immersive brand moments as part of JUNO weekend. The performance sets the stage for the awards broadcast on March 29 at TD Coliseum in Hamilton, airing across Canada on CBC and CBC Gem and globally through CBC Music’s YouTube channel.

“Small clubs in Hamilton are where we learned our craft, and playing in one on Saturday night on JUNO Weekend felt just right,” said Arkells frontman Max Kerman. “Sweaty rock shows win every time.” The limited-capacity concert highlights the band’s deep connection to their hometown while delivering a rare up-close live experience for fans.

Fans can enter to win access through Skip’s Instagram page, while Skip+ members also have the chance to win VIP JUNO experiences that include tickets to the awards broadcast and access to the JUNOS | Skip Orange Carpet. Slightly Stoopid, Sublime And 311 Lead “Road Trippin Summer Tour 2026”

Slightly Stoopid hit the road this summer with the newly announced “Road Trippin Summer Tour 2026.” The run includes a major co-headline stop at Denver’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre alongside Sublime and 311, followed by the band’s milestone 20th performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The tour arrives as the band prepares to release their 10th studio album and continues a busy year on the festival circuit.

“We’re road trippin this summer across the US with all our friends – Sublime, Pepper, The Elovaters, DENM and Bumpin Uglies coming along for the ride,” said Miles of Slightly Stoopid. “We’ve been cooking up a lot of new music and look forward to jamming those tunes on tour, plus collaborating nightly on stage with these great bands.” The Elovaters, DENM, and Bumpin Uglies join select tour stops, with additional festival appearances scheduled at BottleRock Napa Valley, BeachLife Festival, Reggae Rise Up Florida and Arizona, and Point Break Festival.

The summer trek begins July 23 at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland and runs through cities including Chicago, Atlantic City, Seattle, and Denver before closing with four Florida dates in August. A portion of every ticket sold supports the Ghetto Youths Foundation, founded by Stephen, Damian, and Julian Marley, assisting Hurricane Melissa relief efforts in Jamaica.

Zeds Dead Launch “Journey Of A Lifetime” Tour Across North America

Canadian electronic duo Zeds Dead celebrate 15 years of music with the newly announced “Journey Of A Lifetime” North American tour. The run highlights the full scope of their career, from early MySpace-era releases to festival favorites and tracks from their 2025 album ‘Return To The Spectrum Of Intergalactic Happiness.’ The tour launches July 2 and 3 with their annual “Deadrocks” shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre before moving through cities including Toronto, New York, Nashville, Miami, Los Angeles, and more.

“‘Journey of a Lifetime’ is one of the first tracks we uploaded to the World Wide Web as Zeds Dead way back in 2009,” the duo said in a statement. “17 years later, it feels like it was a prophecy. We might have not realized it at the time, but we were in fact blasting off into space and leaving behind life as we knew it. This journey is your journey with us as well.” The tour features support from ALLEYCVT, Daily Bread, Deathpact, Dr. Fresch, Imanu, Ivy Lab, Marry Droppinz, Moody Good, and Whethan on select dates. K-Pop Powerhouses i-dle Launch North American Leg Of “i-dle World Tour [Syncopation]”

K-pop group i-dle announced the North American leg of the “i-dle World Tour [Syncopation]” during an appearance on NBC’s Today Show, with the run beginning Aug. 2 at TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario. The arena trek moves through major markets including Newark, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Mexico City before closing Aug. 23 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. Tickets go on sale March 11 at 3 p.m. local time.

The announcement arrives alongside new music from the group, including their latest single “Mono (feat. skaiwater),” their first release in eight months. The track sets the stage for their upcoming project [Syncopation], due in May.

The Earl Scruggs Music Festival returns Sept. 4-6 to Tryon International in Mill Spring, North Carolina with a lineup led by Béla Fleck: My Bluegrass Heart, Greensky Bluegrass, and The Avett Brothers. The three-day event continues to grow after earning the 2025 International Bluegrass Music Association Event of the Year honor.

A deep roster of bluegrass and roots talent fills out the bill, including artist-in-residence Alison Brown, The Earls of Leicester with Jerry Douglas, The Del McCoury Band, East Nash Grass, Mountain Grass Unit, Lindsay Lou, and Rissi Palmer. The lineup captures both the genre’s legendary figures and a new generation of artists shaping the future of bluegrass.

Named for iconic three-finger banjo pioneer Earl Scruggs, the festival approaches its fifth anniversary with several additions across the site. A new Louise Scruggs Stage honors Earl’s wife and longtime manager and will be housed inside one of Tryon’s equestrian arenas. The festival also expands on-site amenities with the new Overmountain Lodge along with additional restaurants, shops, and upgraded facilities.

My Chemical Romance, Tool, Limp Bizkit Lead Massive 2026 Aftershock Festival Lineup

Aftershock returns to Sacramento’s Discovery Park in 2026 with its biggest lineup yet, bringing more than 140 artists to five stages across the expanded festival grounds. Promoter Danny Wimmer Presents also introduces onsite camping for the first time, marking a major evolution for the four-day rock and metal event.

“This year’s Aftershock marks a bold new chapter for the festival,” says Danny Wimmer. “We’ve brought together metal, punk, emo, and nu-metal to create a lineup that’s raw, youthful, and unapologetic. With TOOL anchoring the weekend and Pierce The Veil making their headlining debut, we’re breaking boundaries and redefining what Aftershock can be. And after years of fan requests, we’re finally introducing camping.”

Headliners across the weekend include My Chemical Romance, The Offspring, and Sublime on Thursday, followed by Limp Bizkit, $uicideboy$, and Wu-Tang Clan on Friday. Saturday features Pierce The Veil, A Day To Remember, and Babymetal, while Sunday closes with Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, and Danny Elfman. The lineup also stretches across generations of heavy music with appearances from Coheed and Cambria, Dethklok, Dance Gavin Dance, Public Enemy, Insane Clown Posse, and The Black Dahlia Murder.

Special sets add even more weight to the bill. Circa Survive reunite for a West Coast performance, Wolfmother celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, and Municipal Waste mark 25 years with a dedicated anniversary set. The festival grounds also expand with experiences like the Tremors Dive Bar, Cantina del Diablo open-air cantina, the Aftershock x Jungle Bird Tiki Bar, and the new Overtime Sports Bar near The Point, a shaded viewing area tuned to major sporting events throughout the weekend.

Camping arrives for the first time with RV, car, and tent options available at nearby Cal Expo, including festival re-entry and shuttle access. Campers also receive entry to a Wednesday night pre-party hosted by Rock & Brews featuring complimentary drinks, mini golf, batting cages, and more. Aftershock welcomed more than 164,000 fans in 2025 and generated an estimated $39 million in local economic impact, underscoring the festival’s growing scale.

Manchester indie rock five-piece The Guest List launch into 2026 with the release of their sharp and urgent new single “Something Real.” The track follows a breakout year that included a sold-out 14-date UK headline tour and the arrival of their debut EP ‘When The Lights Are Out.’ Now the band return with a song that pushes both their sound and their message further into focus.

Driven by upbeat guitars and biting lyrics, “Something Real” takes aim at a fractured modern landscape shaped by algorithms, outrage cycles, and culture-war noise. Frontman Cai Alty cuts through the chaos with the stark lines “hate… is on trend / war… is on trend,” before the song lands on its defining moment, “And I know that it blows your mind just to hear me saying something real.” The track hits with urgency and conviction, delivering a sharp jolt of modern indie rock energy.

George Birge And Luke Bryan Hit The Gas With “Ride, Ride, Ride”

Texas country singer-songwriter George Birge keeps his momentum rolling with the official music video for “Ride, Ride, Ride,” his collaboration with five-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan. The new visual arrives as the track climbs both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts, marking Birge’s fastest-rising single to date.

Directed by Corey Miller, the video unfolds inside a rustic barn filled with natural light. The camera moves between Birge and Bryan as sunlight cuts through the wooden beams, matching the song’s message about resilience and pushing forward when the road gets rough. The stripped-back setting places the lyrics at the center while the two artists trade verses that echo the song’s passing-down-of-wisdom story.

“Luke brings positive energy and star power to everything he does,” shares Birge. “I was so thankful he agreed to be part of this music video. The grit and the visuals really helped bring the song to life, and I can’t wait for fans to see it.”

Killswitch Engage return to the road this summer with a major U.S. headlining tour that launches June 3 in Detroit and runs through June 27 in San Francisco.
