Underground Hip Hop Duo Armand Hammer Take ā€˜Mercy’ On Expansive North American Tour

0

New York hip-hop duo Armand Hammer hit the road with the ā€œMercyā€ North American Tour, a wide-ranging run built around their 2025 collaborative record with The Alchemist, ‘Mercy’. The tour stretches across the continent through multiple seasons, bringing the group’s sharp lyricism and experimental production to stages from the East Coast to the West.

The tour launches April 24 in Durham before moving through cities including Nashville, Tampa, Orlando, and Asheville. The spring leg sets the pace with tightly packed club dates that place Armand Hammer’s intense live delivery at the center of the room.

After a summer pause, the tour resumes in the fall with a second leg that expands across major music markets. Stops include Detroit, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle before the run closes November 13 in Denver. The routing carries the group through a broad cross-section of North American venues and audiences.

‘Mercy’, the duo’s collaborative project with producer The Alchemist, fuels the setlist. The record delivers dense beats and razor-edged verses that reward repeat listens, a body of work that continues to resonate within underground hip-hop circles.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now.

Buckcherry Fire Up Desert Stage With ā€œMoonlit Mayhemā€

Platinum-selling hard rock band Buckcherry storms into the Arizona desert this spring as the headliner for ā€œMoonlit Mayhem,ā€ a one-night rock event set for April 11, 2026. The show lands at Harold’s Cave Creek Corral during Cave Creek Bike Week, turning one of the Southwest’s most storied venues into a full-throttle rock gathering under the desert sky.

Moonlit Mayhem marks a bold move for Moonlit Nites, the production company building a name around boutique live events rooted in Southwestern culture. The brand launched earlier this year during the kickoff of Harold’s Cave Creek Corral’s 90th anniversary celebration, an event that featured Rodney Atkins and Brian Kelley and drew strong crowds to the historic Cave Creek venue.

This time the sound shifts from country twang to roaring guitars. Buckcherry leads the charge with a catalog packed with modern rock staples, including “Lit Up,” “Check Your Head,” and “Sorry.” The band’s punchy riffs and gritty vocals land perfectly in a setting built for loud music and wide-open desert nights.

Harold’s Cave Creek Corral stands at the center of the action. The venue opened nine decades ago as a Wild West saloon and restaurant and grew into one of Arizona’s defining live music stages. The landmark continues to host national touring acts while maintaining its rugged desert character.

Tickets for the all-ages show onsale now through MoonlitNites.com. Options include general admission, standing pit, standing party deck, and seated party deck access. The result is a full-scale desert rock gathering built around one of modern hard rock’s most recognizable bands.

A pop voice that shaped an era returns to the stage for a one-night Caribbean setting. Cyndi Lauper headlines a beachfront concert at Casuarina Beach at Atlantis Paradise Island on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The New York pop icon brings a four-decade catalog of global hits to Paradise Island for a late-night performance under the Bahamian sky.

The show begins at 9:30 p.m., with a pre-show concert village opening at 6:30 p.m. Guests can move through a lively beachfront setup that includes Bahamian food trucks, interactive pop-up activations, an activity fun zone, and a 360-degree beer garden serving beer, cocktails, and wine. Complimentary round-trip shuttle service connects Atlantis resort hotels with designated parking areas for easy access.

ā€œAtlantis Paradise Island remains committed to delivering world-class entertainment in the Bahamas, creating memorable live music experiences for visitors and the community,ā€ said Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director of Atlantis Paradise Island. ā€œWe look forward to welcoming Cyndi Lauper to Casuarina Beach this June. Her performance adds a dynamic, multi-generational appeal to the resort’s summer entertainment lineup and continues Atlantis’ tradition of hosting influential artists in Paradise.ā€

Lauper arrives with one of pop music’s most recognizable songbooks. The Grammy Award-winning artist first changed the landscape with the landmark debut album ‘She’s So Unusual’, delivering enduring songs including “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “Time After Time.” The catalog still commands attention decades later, a setlist packed with pop history and unmistakable hooks.

The beachfront concert follows the global ā€œGirls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour,ā€ which wrapped in 2025 after 68 arena and amphitheater dates worldwide, closing with two nights at the Hollywood Bowl. Lauper enters 2026 with major milestones behind her, including induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2025 and continued live appearances that keep her music front and center.

Country music icon Alan Jackson is getting ready for one final full-length concert, bringing ā€œLast Call: One More For The Roadā€ to its unforgettable closing chapter. The sold-out celebration will gather an all-star lineup to honor the Country Music Hall of Fame member and the songs that helped shape modern country music.

A remarkable group of country stars will join the evening, including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Lee Ann Womack. The lineup reflects the wide reach of Jackson’s influence, with artists from across generations coming together to celebrate a songwriter whose music continues to resonate.

The afternoon portion of the event adds a personal touch with performances from members of Jackson’s extended family. Award-winning singer-songwriters Adam Wright, Big City Brian Wright and Carlisle Wright will open the show, setting the stage for a day filled with music, memories and heartfelt moments.

Across decades on the road, Jackson carried traditional country songwriting to audiences around the world, performing throughout North America, Australia, Brazil and Europe. ā€œLast Call: One More For The Roadā€ stands as the final stop in that journey, a historic gathering built to honor one of country music’s most enduring voices.

Indie Synth Pop Return Laptop Share ā€œXanaduā€ Ahead Of New Album ‘On This Planet’

0

Laptop return with ā€œXanaduā€, a sharp, groove-driven single from the upcoming album ‘On This Planet’, arriving June 5. The track pairs frontman Jesse Hartman with Nevis vocalist Anna Hadeed for a duet that opens like a romantic indie pop moment before revealing a deeper story beneath the surface.

Written and produced by Hartman, ā€œXanaduā€ explores the tension between artistic dreams and the pull of stability. The song takes aim at the American promise of permanence, the idea that owning something lasting might deliver peace. The melody glides with warm synth textures and breezy rhythms while the lyrics slowly expose the cracks inside that dream.

The title references Citizen Kane, where Xanadu represents Charles Foster Kane’s massive estate, a symbol of success that ultimately reflects isolation and regret. Laptop reimagines that image in a modern setting. In this version the dream is a tidy house and a comfortable life, wrapped in hope and expectation yet shadowed by ambition and quiet disillusionment.

The video unfolds on Oualie Beach in Nevis, where additional recording for the album took place. Beachside scenes of Hartman and Hadeed contrast with glossy postcard imagery following a stylish couple chasing paradise. The visual narrative turns sharply as their dream collapses, punctuated by kitschy slogans like ā€œThe Good Lifeā€ and ā€œLive the Romanceā€.

Laptop first emerged in the late 1990s, releasing three albums through Island Records and earning praise for their mix of synth-pop melody, irony and thoughtful songwriting. Now revived with Hartman collaborating alongside his son Charlie Hartman, the project continues to evolve. ‘On This Planet’ marks the band’s first album since reforming and arrives June 5.

Southern Rock Storytellers Drivin N Cryin Unveil ā€œMirror Mirrorā€ From Upcoming ‘Crushing Flowers’

0

Atlanta Southern rock veterans Drivin N Cryin open a new chapter with “Mirror Mirror”, the first single from their upcoming album ‘Crushing Flowers’. Nearly four decades into their journey, the band continues to fuse Southern rock grit, folk storytelling and hard-driving rock and roll into a sound that remains unmistakably their own.

Produced by guitarist Sadler Vaden, the album layers soaring guitars, rich harmonies and orchestral textures around the reflective songwriting of frontman Kevn Kinney. The sessions include appearances from R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck and the late Todd Snider in what may stand as his final studio recording.

“Mirror Mirror” arrives with immediate impact. Explosive guitars surge forward while the chorus lands with the weight of a classic rock single. The song carries emotional depth rooted in Kinney’s personal experience. He wrote it after visiting his mother, who is living with Alzheimer’s.

ā€œI wrote Mirror Mirror as song to try and understand the effects dementia and Alzheimer’s has on my mother. It’s in support of my sisters who are supporting her. She’s in a living care facility in Milwaukee and my visits with her are beautiful and heartbreaking,ā€ says Kinney.

Drivin N Cryin, featuring Kinney, bassist Tim Nielsen and drummer Dave V. Johnson, continues to build its reputation as one of rock’s most respected live bands. The group launches the ‘Crushing Flowers’ era on the road with a run of spring and summer shows, bringing the new material and their deep catalogue back to stages across the American South.

Multi-platinum powerhouseĀ Gabby BarrettĀ transforms her striking breakup anthemĀ ā€œThe Easy Partā€Ā (Warner Music Nashville) into a compelling visual story with the release of the official music video today. Directed byĀ Quentin CookĀ and filmed in Nashville, TN, the video mirrors the song’s emotional tension, blending flashbacks of a once-joyful couple with the present-day journey of a woman finding strength in closure. As the storm of heartbreak unfolds, so does a literal rainstorm, drenching Barrett as she delivers a performance soaked in resilience.Ā

ā€œā€™The Easy Part’ plays with the idea that sometimes the dramatic moment in a relationship feels like the hardest part, but often it’s what comes after that really stays with you,ā€ shares Barrett. ā€œThe song reflects on those memories; the good and the complicated, and realizing what they meant over time. In the video, you see those moments play out as she looks back on the relationship and ultimately chooses peace and keeps moving forward.ā€

ā€œThe Easy Partā€ – co-written by Barrett alongside Michael HardyĀ (akaĀ HARDY),Ā Zach Abend, andĀ Jon Nite – and produced byĀ Zach Kale,Ā Zach Abend,Ā andĀ Ross Copperman, continues gaining traction following its release, with SiriusXM showing strong support across its Country channels.

As Barrett’s compelling narrative unfolds, fans are reminded of the grace and powerhouse vocals that have defined her rise, echoing the emotional intensity that first captivated audiences with breakout hits like 8X PLATINUM smash ā€œI Hope.ā€ With more music on the horizon following her acclaimed Chapter & Verse album, Barrett continues to carve out her own lane as a formidable female voice in Country music.ā€Šā€Š

R&B Pop Songstress Sophia GalatĆ© Launches ā€œFor My Own Entertainment, And Yours Tooā€ Tour

0

Los Angeles R&B and pop songstress Sophia GalatĆ© steps forward with the release of her debut album ‘For My Own Entertainment’. The project blends nostalgic R&B roots with bright flashes of pop and funk, arriving alongside a pink-toned visual world that mirrors the record’s playful energy and confident personality.

The album features a standout collaboration with Dende on “Just For A Moment”. Production comes from Grammy-winning producers D.K. the Punisher and Akeel Henry, known for their work with Kehlani, Jazmine Sullivan, Ari Lennox and Victoria MonĆ©t. Their groove-driven production frames Galaté’s warm, expressive vocals and gives the record a vibrant musical backbone.

ā€œThis album marks a big energetic shift for me, one that’s bolder and more fun,ā€ says Sophia. ā€œI really wanted to showcase my vibrant personality, my humor, yet still express my vulnerability. I feel like this music represents how I truly live my life on my own terms, independent, carefree, and putting myself first. It’s for my own entertainment (and my friends’), and I hope to inspire other people to do the same!ā€

Across the record, GalatĆ© moves through multiple moods. The title track celebrates self-expression, while ā€œPlease Don’t Talk to Meā€ delivers a sharp, boundary-setting groove. The acoustic duet “Just For A Moment” reveals a softer, reflective side. The album lands as a confident introduction, rich with personality, groove and emotional honesty.

Following a tour with James Vickery last year, GalatĆ© now launches her own headline run. The ā€œFor My Own Entertainment, And Yours Tooā€ Tour will bring the new songs to the stage across North America.
