Southampton, New Jersey-based rock and metal guitarist Zack Miranowic has released his new single and video “Reflections”, the first preview of his upcoming album ‘Sinking Low’. The track continues Miranowic’s solo project – a deeply personal outlet built around massive riffs, dynamic songwriting, and melodic vocals with a raw edge.
Miranowic also handled the entire production process himself. “The album was completely produced, mixed, and mastered by me,” he says, highlighting the fully independent nature of the project.
Lyrically, “Reflections” explores themes of memory, regret, and self-examination. “In life we tend to think about our past and how certain events played out. At times we come to regret some of our decisions or think we could have done better, but the truth is that we just did what we thought was right at the time,” Miranowic says.
Known for his work with Disciples Of Verity, Sekond Skyn, and Riversend, Miranowic launched his solo project with the album ‘Fear’ in 2022 followed by the EP ‘Cryin’ Out’ in 2023. He plans to release additional singles throughout 2026 leading into the full release of ‘Sinking Low’.
Country singer-songwriter Keith Burns – founding member of the platinum-selling trio Trick Pony – begins a new chapter in 2026 with a series of new solo releases. The first track, “They Don’t Live Here,” arrives March 13 as part of a Q2 waterfall series and was written by Burns and Ray Termini, who also produced the song. Inspired by the loss of Burns’ father, the track unfolds as a quiet reflection on memory, family, and the passage of time.
Burns says the song came together during a deeply personal moment. “Ray came to the writing session with the idea. Having just lost my dad in October, it came at the right time – sat with me in a big way,” Burns says. “We’ve both experienced the loss of our fathers, who, ironically, share the same name … and ‘Frank’ gets a special mention in the storyline. The song is really about the circle of life. It kind of just wrote itself.”
The new single highlights Burns’ continued presence in Nashville’s songwriting community following more than three decades in the industry. As a member of Trick Pony, he helped score three consecutive Top 10 hits – including “Pour Me” and “Just What I Do,” both co-written by Burns. He has also written songs for artists including Joe Diffie and later formed the duo Burns & Poe with Michelle Poe.
Burns’ momentum continues this year with an Inspirational Country Music Association nomination for Outlaw Gospel Artist of the Year. He will also co-host the 2026 Inspirational Country Music Awards – where he will perform “They Don’t Live Here” – at the Grand Ole Opry House on April 6.
Additional releases in the series will include “Cowboys Don’t Get Old,” featuring Tracy Lawrence, followed by Burns’ new version of the Trick Pony hit “Pour Me” titled “Pour Me (Single Shot),” celebrating the song’s 25th anniversary.

Blues rock guitarist Jared James Nichols has released “Killing Time”, the latest single from his upcoming album ‘Louder Than Fate’, arriving June 5 via Frontiers Music Srl. The track was written and recorded in Nashville with Roger Alan Nichols, while the official video was filmed in the basement of Halestorm Manor, the home of Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of Halestorm.
Nichols describes the song as an emotional reflection on moving forward after a relationship ends. “‘Killing Time’ is not being able to cut the loss of a relationship when you know you have to move on. It’s about walking a lonely path while hanging onto hope, even when all is lost. Every stripped-down chord echoes the regret of moments thrown away and words left unsaid. Writing this song was a personal reminder that it is OK to close chapters and move on to new beginnings.”
Produced and mixed by Jay Ruston, with additional production from Roger Alan Nichols, ‘Louder Than Fate’ blends thunderous riffs, soaring solos, and emotionally driven vocals with modern rock production. Songs such as “Bending or Breaking” and “Killing Time” expand the sonic palette with keyboards and cinematic strings while maintaining Nichols’ blues-driven hard rock core.
Nichols has built a reputation as one of the most electrifying guitarists of his generation, known for his distinctive tone and high-energy performances. He says the new record captures a wider emotional range than his previous releases. “I’m beyond excited for this record. I’ve been counting down the days until its release like it’s a personal holiday. If the singles are any hint for you, there are plenty of riffs ripping through the speakers like a buzz saw.”
He adds, “But going deeper into the record, there are tons of different emotions and sounds that I have yet to explore as a singer/songwriter. I am personally thrilled to share different shades of myself on this record, giving so much more depth and insight to the listener. Get ready for ‘Louder than Fate’.”

Los Angeles-based indie singer Lecx Stacy has released the new song “Safe In Your Hands, I Clasp”, continuing his exploration of memory, identity, and emotional vulnerability through sound. A first-generation Filipino American originally from San Diego, Stacy grew up surrounded by music through family karaoke nights, piano lessons, and early beat-making sessions with his older brother. After his brother’s passing, the recording equipment he left behind became a creative lifeline, helping Stacy begin shaping the deeply personal sound that defines his work today.
The new track unfolds gradually, beginning with delicate acoustic guitar, subtle strings, and breathy vocals before expanding into layered distortion and dense textures. Stacy describes the song as “a soundtrack to my anxieties. It’s about clinging to idealized versions of life and love for comfort, only to feel that comfort slip further away and swallowed by noise and distortion.” The structure mirrors that emotional tension, swelling into chaos before returning to a softer arrangement.
Across his recent releases, Stacy continues to explore emotional extremes through shifting sonic landscapes. Songs like “Winter, A Wilted Flower” leaned into stillness and fragility, while “With You, I’d Be Closer to God” embraced distortion and intensity. With “Safe In Your Hands, I Clasp”, he expands that palette further while remaining rooted in vulnerability and instinct.
The broader project draws inspiration from Stacy’s personal history and cultural memory. Stories from his father about Filipino “folkhouses”, bars where men gathered to sing American folk songs after long nights of drinking, inform the album’s sense of place and identity. The result blends Americana with echoes of Filipino tradition through Stacy’s mix of emo-folk, folktronica, ambient textures, and noise.
Stacy’s live performances reflect the same emotional intensity found in his recordings. He has previously toured with Eartheater, Jean Dawson, and Sega Bodega, delivering performances that treat memory and experience as something fluid, shifting, and ritualized through sound.
Matt Berninger and Rosanne Cash have released their cover of The Velvet Underground’s “Who Loves The Sun” ahead of the Hulu debut of the comedy-drama series ‘Sunny Nights’. The recording appears in the opening scene of the first episode and serves as the theme song for the series, which is directed and executive-produced by Trent O’Donnell.
Berninger says the collaboration came naturally after his long friendship with O’Donnell. “I’ve been a Trent O’Donnell fan for a long time. We became good friends when he cast my brother, Tom, in an episode of his show No Activity, and we’ve had a close, creative bond ever since.”
When O’Donnell approached him about recording the Velvet Underground song for the series, Berninger immediately envisioned it as a duet. “When he asked me to cover the Velvet Underground for Sunny Nights, I immediately thought of it as a duet with Rose and John [Leventhal]. We recorded it in their Chelsea brownstone last summer. John did most of the work while Rose and I drank chardonnay in the garden in the sun.”
‘Sunnny Nights’ stars Will Forte as Martin Marvin, a straight-laced American who moves to Sydney to start a spray-tan business with his unpredictable sister Vicki, played by D’Arcy Carden. As the siblings try to grow their startup into a successful company, they become entangled in Sydney’s criminal underworld, forcing them to navigate danger while keeping their business afloat.
Today, multi-platinum, award-winning artist Loreen releases the title track from her upcoming brand-new album Wildfire, set for release on 27th March 2026 via Polydor France. She exclusively unveiled the song live for the first time last week at YOYO in Paris. Driven by a hypnotic, sweat-slick club beat, Loreen invites listeners to “dance the pain away,” pulling them into the visceral centre of her new album. “Wildfire” builds with aslow, smouldering intensity, its clean, mesmeric electronic production colliding with sensual lyricism as her voice shifts from intimate restraint in the verses to commanding release in the chorus. It’s a tantric track that leans into darker, raw dancefloor energy, embracing movement as catharsis.
Written with Jesse St. John (Charli XCX, Britney Spears, Kim Petras), it was created with the queer dancefloor in mind, charged with sexual energy, flirting with the forbidden, and shedding inhibition without judgement. Just raw, sexy, punk-leaning electricity designed to lure the listener in and keep them moving. Loreen also announces the Wildfire Tour spanning seven countries including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, France, Poland and the Netherlands. The tour opens in Dublin’s National Stadium on 22nd September 2026, before travelling through Glasgow, Manchester and London, continuing across Europe and culminating at the iconic Paradiso in Amsterdam on 6th October.
Loreen’s upcoming album Wildfire has been a decade in the making and will include her first single “Feels Like Heaven” co-written by Sia, the critically praised “Is It Love” alongside the global phenomenon “Tattoo”, which topped charts in more than ten countries and reaffirmed her place as one of the defining artists of her generation. Wildfire follows a career-defining catalogue of era-spanning releases, including “Euphoria”, a cultural milestone; alongside “Forever”, “Gravity”, and “WarningSigns”, each exploring themes of love, vulnerability, identity and cosmic connection. Nine years on from her last album and fourteen years since her debut, her work has amassed billions of streams worldwide and established Loreen as one of modern pop’s most spiritually resonant and emotionally fearless voices.

Two years ago, BILLY MORRISON—the British guitarist, singer, and songwriter, primarily known as Billy Idol’s rhythm guitar player for the past 17 years alongside lead guitarist Steve Stevens—released THE MORRISON PROJECT via TLG | ZOID | Virgin Music Group. It marked his third solo album (and first since 2015) and produced the #1 Active Rock Song (Mediabase) in America: “Crack Cocaine” featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Steve Stevens and co-written by all three artists. A deluxe edition of the album followed in 2025 and bonus track, “Gods Of Rock and Roll (Orchestral)”—another seismic collaboration with Osbourne and Stevens—landed in the Active Rock Top Ten (Mediabase).
MORRISON will build on that success with his upcoming album HOLLOW, out sometime in August via TLG | ZOID | Virgin Music Group. The album will launch with the March 27 release of its first single and video “Becoming” which was written by MORRISON, Sully Erna (Godsmack) and Brett Scallions; it features Erna on lead vocals and Grammy Award-winner Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) on lead guitar.
HOLLOW will follow the success of 2024’s THE MORRISON PROJECT format with 12 songs, half sung by Morrison and half sung by a handful of MORRISON’s friends. Guests include Dexter Holland, Marilyn Manson, Chuck D, B Real, Duff McKagan, Steve Stevens, DMC, and the above-mentioned Sully Erna and Nuno Bettencourt, among others. “Forgive Me,” “The Tailor,” “No Suspects,” “Another Day,” “Leave No Trace,” and “Becoming” are among the song titles.
“The last album was so much fun and such a creative experience for me that I got the band back together for a follow up record,” says BILLY. It’s on the same label (TLG | ZOID | Virgin Music Group), with the same crew (Barry Pointer mixing the record, Dave Donnelly mastering and all art / photography by Jane Stuart) and I’m excited to share this body of work with the world.” He adds: “The guests on this record are at the core of the collaborative spirit that I try to put in the center of these records. Every single person I worked with stepped up, brought their A game and helped me produce an album that crosses genres, features some really diverse songwriting, and yet has a truly cohesive, and powerful sound. Ultimately, I am just grateful to everyone involved for allowing me to do this again.”

Nigerian-born, Edinburgh-based soul singer James Emmanuel has released his new single “Time” via Fontana. The track was recorded in Joshua Tree and reflects on Emmanuel’s journey from singing in gospel choirs as a preacher’s son in Nigeria to building a career in Scotland after years of working odd jobs and performing residencies at Edinburgh’s renowned venue The Jazz Bar.
Over the past year Emmanuel has reached several milestones including the release of his debut EP, performances at Royal Albert Hall and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and recognition with a Scottish Music Award. “Time” carries a message that success is built through perseverance rather than speed, with Emmanuel describing the song as a reflection of the challenges he faced while pursuing music.
The single blends a reflective melody with soulful vocals that draw comparisons to the intensity of Charles Bradley and the warmth of Marvin Gaye. Inspired by his personal experiences, Emmanuel describes the song as a reminder that life unfolds as a journey rather than a race.
With growing momentum behind him, Emmanuel continues to bring his music to live audiences across the U.K. with several upcoming festival and headline appearances.
