Attesting Documents for Company Registration in the UAE: A Step-by-Step Guide

0

By Mitch Rice

The benefits offered by the United Arab Emirates to entrepreneurs make this country an incredibly popular destination for business registration. Despite the simplicity and transparency of the process, proper preparation and attention to formalities are essential, especially when it comes to attesting official documents.

Stages of Company Registration in the Emirates

A skilled lawyer can help you open a company in the UAE quickly and seamlessly through just a few steps:

  • Assist in choosing a brand name and verify its availability;
  • Prepare and submit all required documents to UAE authorities;
  • Help obtain preliminary approval from government agencies;
  • Provide legal assistance with office rental;
  • Assist with license issuance.

Once the company’s bank account is opened, the business can officially begin operations. At every stage, the experts at Dynasty Business Adviser will ensure that the notarization of power of attorney is error-free and completed promptly.

Proper Preparation of Documents for Company Registration in the UAE

To start a business in the UAE, you must prepare and attest a power of attorney along with other essential documents. The required list may vary depending on the jurisdiction and type of business. However, the following are typically needed:

Required Documents Document Description Type of Attestation Notes
Articles of Association The primary document outlining the company’s structure and goals. Notarization Mandatory
Resolution to Establish a Company An agreement by the founders to establish the company. Notarization Mandatory
Proof of Paid-up Capital Financial document verifying the payment of share capital. Apostille As required
Passport Copies of Shareholders and Directors Copies of personal documents of directors and shareholders. Notarization Mandatory

Based on this documentation, experts can ensure smooth and hassle-free company registration.

Document Attestation

Once all documents are prepared, a qualified notary must verify the accuracy of the information and the authenticity of all signatures. The notary should have credentials recognized by official UAE institutions.

Certain documents may only be accepted after legalization and apostille certification. Legalization requires the documents to be attested by the UAE embassy or consulate in the country where they were issued. Apostille certification, on the other hand, confirms the authenticity of documents in countries that are signatories to the Hague Convention.

Submission of Documents

Attested documents that have undergone legalization and apostille certification must be submitted to the relevant UAE authorities based on the jurisdiction. This is usually the Department of Economic Development (DED) or a Free Zone. These entities will review the documents, and additional confirmations or responses to inquiries may be required. It’s crucial to respond quickly to these requests to avoid delays in the registration process.

Company Registration and License Issuance

The final step in the registration process is obtaining a license and paying the associated registration fees. Once this is complete, the company is officially registered and can begin operations.

A Few Tips for Successful Company Registration experienced legal professionals recommend the following:

  1. Thoroughly research the specifics of doing business, business etiquette, local culture, and UAE laws.
  2. Partner with a qualified consultant or lawyer to guide you through the process.
  3. Develop a detailed business plan and a clear growth strategy for your company.
  4. Regularly review your documents and business activities from a legal perspective to ensure compliance.
  5. A skilled consultant can help you navigate the UAE’s tax system, understand capital requirements, avoid risks, and lay a solid foundation for your enterprise in the UAE.

Registering a new business is never a simple process, and neglecting it can lead to unnecessary complications. Paying close attention to formalities can save you significant time and effort. The experienced professionals at Dynasty Business Adviser are ready to assist you in smoothly navigating all stages of the registration process.

5 Surprising Facts About Mƶtley Crüe’s “Shout at the Devil”

Few albums have left a lasting scar on the face of heavy metal quite like Shout at the Devil, Mƶtley Crüe’s sophomore effort. Released on September 23, 1983, the album propelled the Los Angeles rebels into the stratosphere of rock stardom, blending sleazy glam, pounding riffs, and enough controversy to make conservative America clutch its pearls. From its ominous pentagram cover art to its unapologetically raw lyrics, Shout at the Devil was on most record players that year, even if you didn’t listen to metal.

1. The Kiss Tour Debacle That Became Legend

Before Shout at the Devil dropped, Mƶtley Crüe landed a coveted spot opening for Kiss on their Creatures of the Night tour. But their wild antics quickly wore thin. Gene Simmons famously kicked the band off the tour after just five shows, citing their ā€œbad behavior.ā€ Rumor has it, their backstage antics, which included copious partying and pushing every rule to its limit, were too much even for Kiss, who weren’t exactly saints themselves. Getting booted by the Demon himself only added to Mƶtley’s growing reputation as rock’s ultimate bad boys.

2. Nikki Sixx and the Hells Angels Incident

The aggression in ā€œKnock ’Em Dead, Kidā€ wasn’t just an act—it was born from a real-life showdown between Nikki Sixx and a group of undercover cops masquerading as Hells Angels. After swinging a chain belt in self-defense, Sixx found himself on the receiving end of a brutal beatdown, leaving him with a black eye and a broken cheekbone. The incident inspired one of the album’s most ferocious tracks, a gritty anthem of defiance that drips with the energy of a street brawl.

3. The Pentagram Backstory

The pentagram that graced the album cover wasn’t just a random shock tactic—it was a nod to Nikki Sixx’s roots. Sixx borrowed the occult imagery from his time in the band Sister, where he shared the stage with future W.A.S.P. frontman Blackie Lawless. While Sixx used the symbol to create mystique, he didn’t anticipate the backlash. The album’s release ignited a firestorm of accusations that the band was promoting Satanism, with the band denying this, making sure we all knew it was Shout at the Devil, not with. Still, the controversy only fueled its success.

4. Filming ā€œLooks That Killā€ and the Warrior Princess

The music video for ā€œLooks That Killā€ was shot over 18 chaotic hours on the A&M Records soundstage in Los Angeles. Featuring model Wendy Barry as the ā€œwarrior princess,ā€ the video’s mix of fiery theatrics and heavy riffs cemented its iconic status. Barry, who also appeared in Ratt’s ā€œBack for Moreā€ video, described the Crüe as ā€œfun and down-to-earth,ā€ a surprising contrast to their growing reputation for debauchery. Behind the scenes, the band’s camaraderie was as magnetic as their stage presence.

5. The Band Claim They Did It All Themselves

When Mƶtley Crüe released Shout at the Devil, their record label, Elektra Records, invested almost nothing in marketing, publicity, or advertising, says the band. Despite this lack of support, the album went on to sell an astonishing five million copies. As bassist Nikki Sixx reflected in 2000, “Everybody starts patting themselves on the back. But it’s Mƶtley Crüe that did that, not Elektra Records.”

Shout at the Devil smashed the Billboard charts, spawned MTV staples, and helped solidify glam metal’s reign over the ’80s. With its mix of controversy, raw energy, and undeniable hooks, the album captured the essence of rebellion. Decades later, its influence is still felt, not just in the music of the bands it inspired, but in the unapologetic attitude that defined a generation.

Mƶtley Crüe’s Shout at the Devil roared, and the world hasn’t stopped listening. \m/

5 Surprising Facts About Genesis’ “Genesis”

By the time Genesis, the self-titled twelfth studio album by the English rock legends, hit shelves on October 3, 1983, the band had already cemented their status as pioneers of progressive rock. Yet, this album, produced entirely at their studio, The Farm in Surrey, marked a decisive pivot toward shorter, more accessible tracks. With Hugh Padgham at the engineering helm, Genesis embraced a collaborative songwriting approach that underscored the trio’s unity. The result? A record that seamlessly balanced the band’s progressive roots with a newfound pop sensibility, captivating both longtime fans and a fresh audience.

  1. The Laugh That Echoed Around the World
    Phil Collins’ unsettling laugh in ā€œMamaā€ remains one of the most memorable moments in the Genesis catalog. Surprisingly, this sinister chuckle wasn’t born from the band’s imagination but was inspired by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s hip-hop classic “The Message.” Producer Hugh Padgham introduced the song to the band during the recording sessions, and Collins mimicked the laugh during an improvisation. The band loved it so much that they incorporated it into the final track. It added a haunting layer to the song’s dark narrative, ensuring its status as one of the most distinctive elements in Genesis’ repertoire.
  2. A Studio First
    Genesis was the first the band recorded entirely at their own studio, The Farm, located in Chiddingfold, Surrey. This shift allowed them to work at their own pace without the constraints or costs of rented studio time. The relaxed atmosphere enabled a more collaborative approach, with songs developing organically from jam sessions rather than pre-written ideas. For the first time since The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, every song was credited equally to all three members, reflecting their united creative process. This change not only influenced the album’s sound but also marked a turning point in the band’s dynamic.
  3. Double Duty Video Day
    The music videos for “Mama” and “Illegal Alien” were filmed on the same day, making it a whirlwind production experience for the band. Shot back-to-back on the same set, the rapid pace of filming reflected the efficiency the band often displayed in their work. Despite the time constraints, the visuals captured the essence of both tracks, with ā€œMamaā€ showcasing a brooding, dramatic vibe and ā€œIllegal Alienā€ highlighting a more satirical edge.
  4. A Hidden Sci-Fi Tribute
    Tony Banks incorporated a sound sample from 2001: A Space OdysseyĀ into “Mama,” but it’s super-hard to find. Phil says, “Collins said: “You play a chord and a half of it’s going at half the speed and part at twice the speed, sounds beautiful.”
  5. A Drum Machine Revolution
    The powerful, ominous rhythm of “Mama” came from a Linn LM-1 drum machine, programmed by Mike Rutherford. To achieve its gritty, thunderous quality, the drum machine was fed through a Mesa Boogie amplifier with heavy distortion. This innovative use of technology added an aggressive edge to the track, perfectly complementing Collins’ raw vocals. The process was groundbreaking for its time, showcasing the band’s knack for pushing the boundaries of production. The result was a sound so distinctive that it became a hallmark of the song’s impact and longevity.

Genesis marked a commercial high for the band, achieving multi-platinum sales and chart-topping success in the UK while breaking into the Billboard Top 10. Tracks like “Mama” and “That’s All” highlighted their ability to evolve while maintaining the emotional resonance and musical sophistication that defined their career.

Mayday Parade Announce 3-Part Album and Massive North American 20-Year Anniversary Tour

0

Mayday Parade – vocalist Derek Sanders, drummer/vocalist Jake Bundrick, guitarists Alex Garcia and Brooks Betts and bassist/vocalist Jeremy Lenzo – will be celebrating 20 years together in 2025. As they welcome this career milestone, the Tallahassee, Florida, five-piece is set to release perhaps their most aspirational and ambitious effort yet: a three-part album showcasing their prolific, emotionally resonant songwriting.

The first entry,Ā Sweet, arrives April 18, 2025, and is led by the effervescent bounce of ā€œBy The Way,ā€ a pitch-perfect blend of what’s made Mayday Parade a genre mainstay for decades: a tender, piano-led groove ultimately giving way to a crush of stereo guitars, ascendent melodies, and heart-on-sleeve lyricism.

ā€œBeing in a band for this long, sometimes you feel like you’re getting it right and sometimes you feel like you’re dancing around what you should be doing. This song feels locked in as a step in the right direction. It’s a song about trying to stay optimistic as the world and everything you know is changing around you. We hope you all enjoy it,” saysĀ Derek Sanders on ā€œBy The Way.”

SweetĀ succinctly showcases just how far Mayday Parade has come in the past two decades featuring the trademark sound that’s transformed them from genre newcomers to torchbearers for a new generation. Recorded with longtime producers, multiplatinum engineers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (All Time Low,Ā Jimmy Eat World), the trilogy of releases will serve as Mayday Parade’s eight full-length studio album and first LP since 2021’sĀ What It Means To Fall Apart. The new three-part album is also the band’s first self-released collection since 2006’sĀ Tales Told By Dead FriendsĀ EP that Mayday Parade sold in parking lots across the country as they followed that year’sĀ Vans Warped Tour.

ā€œBeing a band for 20 years feels big and we wanted to do something big to match that. Our next release will be a large album split up into three different parts. It feels like a challenge and an exciting step forward for the band. Our goal is to take the things we’ve learned and the ways we’ve grown and apply them towards an ambitious release. We’re incredibly thankful for the opportunity to continue to create music and we cannot wait to share Part 1 – titled ā€˜Sweet’ – with the world,”Ā Derek Sanders said onĀ Sweet.

Since first forming in 2005 Mayday Parade has graced the covers ofĀ Alternative PressĀ andĀ Rock Sound, been featured inĀ Rolling Stone,Ā Billboard, andĀ Kerrang, twice headlinedĀ Sad Summer FestivalĀ (a festival they co-founded six years ago), performed as a feature act at 2024’sĀ When We Were YoungĀ festival, and are already announced for this year’s event in Las Vegas on October 18th. They’ve also been a featured act atĀ Riot FestĀ andĀ Slam Dunk, done numerous headline tours as well as support slots and just last year Mayday Parade’s Derek Sanders joinedĀ Dashboard Confessional’s ā€œEmo SuperJamā€ atĀ Bonnaroo Music & Art Festival.

As one of the most enduring acts to rise from the underground in the mid-aughts, Mayday Parade has soundtracked both adolescence and adulthood for millions of listeners. Their music stands synonymous with the emo and pop-punk genres: 2007’sĀ A Lesson In Romantics, their debut LP is gold certified and has been hailed as one of the best – and most influential – emo albums of all time byĀ Alternative Press.Ā Monsters In The Closet, their 2013 release, debuted in the top 10 of theĀ Billboard 200, and tracks like the platinum-selling ā€œJamie All Over,ā€ gold-certified ā€œMiserable At Bestā€ and ā€œOh Well, Oh Wellā€ represent not only widespread commercial acclaim, but the sort of artist-audience relationship that’s fortified them across changing musical landscapes and the ebb and flow of an unforgiving industry.

Now, withĀ SweetĀ set to launch and the project’s remaining two releases waiting in the wings later this year and into 2026, it’s undoubtedly a good time to be a Mayday Parade fan. The only thing better? BeingĀ inĀ Mayday Parade these days, riding high on a renewed sense of confidence, clarity and creativity that acts rarely feel this far into a career. Fans can hear ā€œBy The Wayā€ and ā€œPretty Good To Feel Somethingā€ (released last summer) now and look for tour dates and more new music in the weeks leading up to the April 18th release.

Coheed and Cambria shares new single ā€œSomeone Who Canā€ from their forthcoming albumĀ The Father of Make Believe, which is set for release March 14th via Virgin Music Group. In conjunction with the new song, the band shares its heartwarming Mason Mercer-directed video where we get a glimpse at the early days of Coheed and Cambria in and around their hometown of Nyack, New York. ā€œSomeone Who Canā€ follows the previously sharedĀ The Father of Make BelieveĀ singles ā€œBlind Side Sonnyā€ and ā€œSearching For Tomorrowā€ along withĀ Claudio Covers,Ā which arrived at the end of last year and features eight songs reimagined by primary songwriter and lead guitarist Claudio Sanchez including ā€œJust Like Heavenā€ by The Cure and ā€œWelcome To New Yorkā€ by Taylor Swift, among others.

ā€œSomeone Who Canā€ is arguably the band’s most accessible song in their 24 year career. When asked about the meaning behind the song, Claudio remarked,Ā ā€œWhen you’re growing up, you’re perpetually trying to understand the world that’s changing around you. Over time, it’s comforting to reach the conclusion that you’ll never truly have things figured out.ā€

Along with today’s release of the new song and video, Coheed and Cambria announces a North American co-headline summer tour with Taking Back Sunday with support from Foxing on all dates. The 25-date tour produced by Live Nation, kicks off on August 16th in St Louis, hitting some majestic venues, including the massive PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey, picturesque Red Rocks in Denver and the Greek Theatre in both Los Angeles and Berkeley, California. The whirlwind run wraps up at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Seattle on September 21st. Tickets are on sale this Friday, January 17th at 10am local timeĀ HERE.

Ahead of their run with Taking Back Sunday, the band will embark onĀ The Infinite ArcĀ co-headline arena tour with Mastodon, following the Tool in the Sand festival with Tool, Primus, Mastodon, Eagles of Death Metal and more in the Dominican Republic this March. This July, the band will perform at 2000 Trees with Kneecap, Taking Back Sunday, Alexisonfire, and more in the United Kingdom. This November, Coheed will embark on their S.S. Neverender 2025 cruise with Thursday, L.S. Dunes, The Dear Hunter, Illuminati Hotties, Zulu and more. Tickets availableĀ HERE.

The Father of Make BelieveĀ continues the narrative ofĀ The Amory Wars / VaxisĀ universe, following Coheed and Cambria’s 2022 albumĀ Vaxis Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind.Ā The Father of Make BelieveĀ will include the aforementioned singles ā€œBlind Side Sonny,ā€ arguably Coheed and Cambria’s most aggressive track to date that was complemented by a Max Moore-directed video that unveiled a new villain inĀ The Amory WarsĀ realm, and ā€œSearching For Tomorrow,ā€ which arrived with an Anthony Scheppard-directed and animated video.

For the last 20 years, Coheed and Cambria have continuously broken the mold of what a rock band can be, forging their own path and building a universe around their music unlike any other. Whether it is in the way their genre-spanning approach to songwriting has allowed them to bridge worlds without being contained to one, or the multifaceted story arc of their albums and comic book series which mark the longest running concept story in music, Coheed and Cambria have consistently shaped new standards, never conformed. Comprised of Claudio Sanchez (Vocals / Guitar), Travis Stever (Guitar), Josh Eppard (Drums) and Zach Cooper (Bass) the band has gripped listeners and press around the globe with their visionary compositions and conceptual mastery.

)Ā  Building on the success of her 2024 debut EP, Love Like That, Jonita enters a new chapter, rewriting the story of love with a soundtrack of rediscovery. Her soul-stirring single ā€œChanna” released today via 91 North Records. STREAM HERE.Ā Ā

Jonita’s delicate vocals gracefully glide over an ethereal soundscape, beautifully complemented by the intricate stylings of orchestral arrangements. ā€˜Channa’ is about a breakup but goes beyond the obvious. It reflects on the shifts in a relationship when dynamics change, and you feel like you’re more invested than the other person. This feeling of longing and imbalance is something so many of us can relate to, and with that Jonita crafts a song that is as vulnerable as it is honest. Her heartfelt delivery transports listeners on an emotional journey that speaks to anyone who has experienced the pain of loving someone who didn’t return the feeling or yearns for unrequited love, proclaiming throughout the resonant soundtrack: ā€˜Feels like this means more to me than you, I really hope that you come through, Please don’t keep me waiting’. Of the single, Jonita expresses, ā€œThe song was conceived at a jam session with my friends Siddhant Bhosle and Soham Mukherji – I wanted to create something soulful, real, authentic to my life experience, but also groovy.ā€

The single, produced by the dynamic duo NEVERSOBER (Riz Shain and Soham Mukherji), is paired with a visually captivating music video produced by Jugaad Motion Pictures and directed by Bhavna Kankaria. WATCH HERE. Reflecting on the process of bringing the song’s visuals to life, Jonita shares, “Shooting the video really pushed me outside of my comfort zone and allowed me to explore new things. It was my second time collaborating with Jugaad, and I feel that Bhavna and DOP Nirali truly captured the essence of the song’s story. They made me feel at ease and encouraged me to be uninhibited on set. This was also the first time I had a co-actor in one of my music videos, and I’m so grateful to Gurfateh for being such an amazing partner throughout the experience!ā€
