Vanessa Carlton Reveals “Great House” From ‘Veils’

0

Vanessa Carlton unveils “Great House,” a new track from her upcoming seventh studio album ‘Veils,’ arriving in April 2026. Produced by Dave Fridmann (MGMT, Flaming Lips), the record marks another evolution for Carlton, whose career continues to expand beyond the expectations set by her early chart success.

“‘Great House’ is about the place that shapes you the most – this place can be a childhood home, or simply a time of coming of age. This song honors this soul shaping experience and reveals that although we move on, we can never leave our ‘Great House.’” Carlton’s piano-driven storytelling anchors the track, pairing reflection with melodic lift. The atmosphere is intimate and resonant.

Carlton’s U.S. tour in support of ‘Veils’ is on sale now, with $1 from each ticket benefiting Save The Music Foundation. She will also headline a summer U.K. run alongside major festival appearances. From City Winery stages to festival fields, the new material moves directly into live performance.

From her discovery by Ahmet Ertegun to the global success of “A Thousand Miles,” Carlton has built a catalogue that spans pop, indie and theatrical work, including her Broadway turn as Carole King and recent film scoring with John McCauley for Wish You Were Here directed by Julia Stiles. ‘Veils’ continues that forward motion.

Blues Traveler Expand 2026 Tour With Bonnaroo And Red Rocks

0

Multi-platinum jam rock mainstays Blues Traveler expand their 2026 touring slate with a new run of headline dates, adding to a year that already includes Bonnaroo and their annual Fourth of July return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This year’s Red Rocks show features special guests Better Than Ezra and The Record Company. Ticket on-sales begin Friday, February 27 at 10 AM local time.

The 2026 surge follows a milestone 2025 celebration marking 30 years of their GRAMMY Award-winning hit “Run-Around.” The anniversary brought renewed spotlight to the band’s legacy, including a Rolling Stone feature with frontman John Popper. Decades in, the harmonica-driven sound still commands massive stages and devoted crowds.

In addition to the newly announced dates, Blues Traveler will co-headline a 35-date run with Gin Blossoms beginning July 6 in Grand Junction, Colorado, with special guests Spin Doctors. The tour hits landmark venues including the Hollywood Bowl and SummerStage in Central Park, culminating September 19 in Traverse City, Michigan. It is a coast-to-coast celebration of radio-defining rock anthems.

John Popper says, “It’s rare when a package feels so much like home that it carries a spirit which becomes tangible to an audience. That was the case – by all accounts – regarding our summer tour last year with Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms. We grew up with Spin Doctors as pups in the same litter… ours is a shared origin story. But working with Gin Blossoms was a first. Their music was everywhere when we were coming up, and yet only last summer did we have the opportunity to learn how fun it is playing with them – and to discover how much energy our three bands put out in combination. So, we’ve decided to take this show everywhere we missed last year. We’re excited to bring it to you.”

THE FULL LINEUP FOR OSHEAGA 2026 IS HERE! TWENTY ONE PILOTS, TATE McRAE, LORDE & MORE

PLUS:
THE XX, EMPIRE OF THE SUN, SOMBR, GUNNA,
TURNSTILE, MAJOR LAZER, GEESE, WOLF PARADE,
AND MANY MORE!

OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festival, presented by Bell in collaboration with Coors Light, returns for its 19th edition, once again transforming Montréal’s stunning Parc Jean-Drapeau into the epicentre of live music from July 31 to August 2, 2026. Over three unforgettable days, festivalgoers will experience world-class performances, genre-defining artists, and the electric atmosphere that has made OSHEAGA one of North America’s most celebrated summer festivals.

For 2026, OSHEAGA unveils its complete lineup in one highly anticipated reveal, spotlighting three major headliners set to deliver landmark performances. True to its reputation, the festival’s booking team has curated a dynamic program that bridges genres and generations, bringing together global superstars, rising talent, and tomorrow’s breakout acts all in one place. With 87 artists across multiple stages, this year’s edition invites music lovers to discover their next obsession.
Twenty One Pilots will set the tone for the weekend, closing out the first day of the festival on Friday, July 31. Returning to OSHEAGA for the first time since their 2015 appearance, the Grammy Award–winning duo will bring their genre-blending sound, dynamic stage presence, and global hits like the billion-view anthem “Stressed Out,” along with “Ride,” and “Heathens” to a high-impact opening night that will have the entire park singing along late into the summer evening. As Saturday’s closing act, Calgary-born global pop sensation Tate McRae will make her OSHEAGA debut with her only Canadian festival appearance of 2026, with no other Canadian dates currently announced. Fresh off a sold-out Bell Centre show and armed with chart-topping anthems including “greedy,” “you broke me first,” “exes,” “she’s all i wanna be,” “revolving door,” “just keep watching,” and “sports car,” she is poised to deliver one of the festival’s most powerful and unforgettable moments. Alt-pop visionary Lorde will close out the festival on Sunday, marking her third appearance at OSHEAGA (following previous performances in 2014 and 2017). Known for blending alt-pop, dream pop, indie and electropop, Lorde has delivered defining anthems such as “Royals,” “Team,” “Ribs,” “Green Light,” “Liability,” “Supercut,” “Tennis Court,” and “Homemade Dynamite.” Following her dynamic performance at the Bell Centre last year and a series of upcoming major 2026 headlining festival appearances, includingThe Governors Ball in New York City and Mad Cool in Spain, her return to Parc Jean-Drapeau promises a powerful and unifying finale to the weekend.

This year’s edition reflects the festival’s continued evolution, with pop at the forefront, rock at its core, and hip-hop shaping the cultural pulse. On the indie-rock front, 2026 GRAMMY Award winners Turnstile, now firmly established as one of the biggest rock bands in the world, are featured alongside modern rock favorites The Neighbourhood, best known for their 11× Platinum-certified hit “Sweater Weather,” breakout alternative band Geese, and Scottish indie-rock icons Franz Ferdinand, who rose to prominence in the early 2000s and continue to resonate across generations with their defining anthem “Take Me Out.” Hip-hop will be well represented across the weekend, highlighted by the return of melodic rap heavyweight Gunna, a defining figure in modern trap. Electronic and global sounds will energize the park with Major Lazer, back on tour for the first time since 2019 and fresh off a high-profile performance at the Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Verona, while visionary Australian duo Empire of the Sun make their long-awaited OSHEAGA and Montréal debut. With a lineup largely led by pop, festivalgoers can expect an exhilarating set from global star Zara Larsson as she returns to Parc Jean-Drapeau for her third appearance at OSHEAGA. Fresh off her first GRAMMY nomination for her 2025 single “Midnight Sun,” Larsson continues to solidify her place as one of pop’s leading voices. The long-awaited return of The xx, alongside breakout act SOMBR, one of the most compelling new voices in alternative pop, further underscores the genre’s strong presence this year. The lineup also features Kehlani, Max McNown (who also appears on this year’s LASSO Montréal lineup), SUBTRONICSYOASOBIFinn WolfhardJIDWet Leg, and more.

As always, OSHEAGA is committed to showcasing and supporting incredible Canadian talent, a core part of the festival’s DNA since its inception. This year is no exception! The 2026 lineup features 26 Canadian artists, including 14 homegrown artists from Québec, who will take the stage alongside international headliners. Supporting local artists, from established names to emerging voices, remains a fundamental pillar of OSHEAGA. From breakthrough acts featured at the SiriusXM Backyard Sessions to celebrated Canadian performers commanding the main stages, the festival continues to shine a spotlight on the very best our country has to offer. Among them is Wolf Parade, whose recent viral resurgence of their iconic single “I’ll Believe in Anything” has introduced the band to a new generation of listeners, reaffirming the lasting influence of Canadian indie rock. The lineup also includes Tia Wood, Billie du Page, Bob MosesVirginie BVandelux, Moses Belanger, Mother MotherSuper Plage, and more, reflecting the vibrant diversity and creative strength of Canada’s music scene. Together, they reinforce that OSHEAGA is not only a global music destination, but also a proud celebration of talent from our own backyard.

The Digital Growth of CBD Oil in the Wellness Industry

0

By Mitch Rice

Over the past decade, the wellness industry has experienced a significant transformation, driven largely by the rise of digital platforms and shifting consumer preferences toward natural health solutions. Among the many products gaining popularity, CBD oil has emerged as one of the most talked-about wellness products worldwide. From online marketplaces to educational blogs and social media communities, the digital landscape has played a major role in shaping how people discover, learn about, and purchase CBD products.

As consumers increasingly turn to online resources for health information and product recommendations, the digital ecosystem surrounding CBD oil continues to expand. This growth has not only increased awareness but has also made CBD products more accessible to a global audience.

The Rise of Online Wellness Communities

One of the most important factors behind the digital growth of CBD oil is the development of online wellness communities. Forums, blogs, and social media platforms allow people to share experiences, ask questions, and learn about new health trends. These communities have helped normalize discussions around CBD, turning what was once a niche topic into a mainstream wellness conversation.

Influencers and wellness experts frequently discuss plant-based health alternatives online, which has helped CBD oil reach audiences that might not have been aware of its potential benefits before. Educational content, including articles, videos, and podcasts, plays a key role in helping consumers understand how CBD products fit into a modern wellness routine.

Digital storytelling and personal testimonials have also made a strong impact. People often trust the experiences of other consumers when exploring new wellness products, and online platforms provide the perfect space for those stories to be shared.

E-Commerce and the Expansion of CBD Markets

The growth of e-commerce has dramatically changed how wellness products are sold. Consumers today prefer the convenience of researching and purchasing products online, and CBD oil is no exception. Online retailers provide detailed product descriptions, ingredient information, and customer reviews that help buyers make informed decisions.

Many brands have invested in digital storefronts that focus on transparency and quality. Customers can easily compare products, check third-party lab testing information, and explore different formulations suited to their preferences.

As the market becomes more competitive, companies are focusing on quality and product differentiation. This has led to an increased demand for premium CBD Oil, which is often associated with higher-quality extraction methods, carefully sourced hemp, and rigorous quality testing. Consumers who prioritize wellness and product safety are more likely to explore premium options available through trusted digital retailers.

The Role of Content Marketing in CBD Education

Content marketing has become one of the most powerful tools in the digital growth of the CBD industry. Blogs, educational websites, and wellness platforms publish informative articles that help consumers better understand CBD products and their place in holistic health practices.

These resources often explain topics such as the difference between full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD, the importance of product testing, and how consumers can identify reputable brands. By providing valuable information rather than direct sales messaging, companies can build trust and credibility with their audience.

Search engines also play a major role in connecting users with CBD-related content. People searching for natural wellness solutions often come across informative guides that introduce them to CBD oil and its growing popularity in the health and lifestyle space.

Social Media and Consumer Engagement

Social media platforms have significantly influenced the visibility of CBD oil in the wellness industry. Platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and wellness-focused communities allow brands and experts to connect directly with audiences.

Short educational videos, product demonstrations, and lifestyle content have made it easier for consumers to understand how CBD products fit into everyday routines. Social media also allows brands to showcase transparency by sharing behind-the-scenes insights into sourcing, manufacturing, and quality testing.

In addition, user-generated content has helped amplify the reach of CBD products. When consumers share their experiences online, they contribute to a growing network of discussions that encourage others to explore CBD as part of their wellness journey.

Technology and Innovation in the CBD Space

Digital innovation continues to shape the future of the CBD industry. Many companies are now using advanced technologies to improve product quality, supply chain transparency, and customer engagement.

For example, QR codes on product packaging allow customers to instantly access lab results and product information online. Subscription models offered through e-commerce platforms provide convenient ways for customers to receive their preferred CBD products regularly.

Artificial intelligence and data analytics also help brands better understand consumer preferences. By analyzing online behavior and purchasing patterns, companies can develop products that align more closely with the needs of wellness-focused consumers.

The Future of CBD in the Digital Wellness Market

As the wellness industry continues to evolve, the digital presence of CBD oil is expected to grow even further. Online education, transparent product information, and community-driven discussions will continue to shape how consumers perceive and purchase CBD products.

The combination of e-commerce innovation, content-driven marketing, and social media engagement has created a powerful environment for CBD brands to connect with modern wellness consumers. As awareness continues to expand, digital platforms will remain central to the growth and accessibility of CBD oil.

Ultimately, the digital transformation of the wellness industry has opened new opportunities for consumers to explore plant-based solutions. With easy access to information and products online, CBD oil has firmly established itself as a prominent part of the modern wellness conversation.
