The release arrives alongside the gripping official video for “BLK SHEEP,” a raw and defiant statement against performative systems and modern hypocrisy that perfectly encapsulates the band’s fearless energy.

The “BLK SHEEP” video is pure chaos and catharsis — a visual onslaught that mirrors the song’s intensity. Grammy-nominated pop-rock hitmakers OneRepublic are starting a new chapter with the release of their latest single, “Beautiful Colors (from Kaiju No. 8),” out now. The song marks the band’s first release under their new global recordings partnership with BMG and serves as the ending theme for season two of the wildly popular Japanese anime Kaiju No. 8.

“Beautiful Colors” continues OneRepublic’s creative streak with the franchise, following “Nobody (from Kaiju No. 8)” and “Invincible (from Kaiju No. 8).” The new single blends soaring melodies, cinematic production, and Ryan Tedder’s signature anthemic vocals, perfectly complementing the emotional world of the anime while standing strong as a pop-rock powerhouse on its own.

Southern California’s Robert Jon & The Wreck are keeping the momentum alive with “I Wanna Give It,” the latest single from their album Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes, out now via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records. The track captures the band’s signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and road-tested rock-and-soul, wrapped in a wistful, country-leaning groove.

Co-written during a stretch when touring had come to a standstill, “I Wanna Give It” was born from late-night acoustic jam sessions on a porch in San Juan Capistrano. “It was a bit of a throwback,” says guitarist Henry James. “We’d play acoustic guitars into the early hours, doing whatever we could to keep our minds at ease.”

Written alongside longtime friends Ian Cullen and Shane Krevoy — who also co-wrote fan favorite “Oh Miss Carolina” — the song came to life under the production of Dave Cobb. The result is a warm, reflective track that channels both timeless Americana spirit and modern rock precision. “It doesn’t necessarily have a happy ending,” James says, “but it’s told with no regrets. Love can blind us sometimes, but it can also inspire us to live boldly. That’s something we all deserve to feel.”

Breakup Shoes have leveled up their sound and story with the release of their brand-new album Standing Still, out now. Produced by Charlie Brand of Miniature Tigers, the record finds the indie rock band expanding their sonic universe while staying true to the raw, confessional lyricism that fans have come to love. To celebrate, the group also dropped a video for the shimmering lead single “Brainwash.”

“The album chronicles the story of my last few years, centered around feeling dissatisfaction in the status quo,” says guitarist and vocalist Nick Zawisa. “It grapples with feeling unhappy and complacent, stuck dreaming of uprooting my life, which I ultimately did.”

Zawisa adds that Standing Still marks a turning point both personally and musically. “Standing Still was produced by Charlie Brand (of Miniature Tigers) who we found a great sonic match in, and was hugely influential to us. Alongside the help of new band members, he helped craft an album that expands the horizons of the Breakup Shoes sound while keeping the confessional lyricism front and center.”

Lead single “Brainwash” pairs upbeat indie-sleaze textures with self-reflective lyrics. “’Brainwash’ is a song rooted in self-loathing,” Zawisa explains. “Although it’s adorned in upbeat, indie-sleaze inspired, catchy-pop sounds; at its core it’s about wishing you could erase your memories to take another stab at becoming a ‘better’ version of yourself (whatever that means). Whether it’s ridding yourself of bad habits or certain personality traits we’ve internalized, the lyrics romanticize the idea of beginning again.”

With Standing Still out now, Breakup Shoes deliver an album that feels both restless and resolved — a soundtrack to the growing pains of change, packed with big hooks, bigger emotions, and an honesty that hits home.

Cinematic post-rock project I am waiting for you last summer have returned with Without/Within, their most ambitious and emotionally charged album to date. Formed in Ryazan, Russia in 2011 at a This Will Destroy You concert, the trio—Sasha Sokolov, Evgenii Popov, and Lev Nikitin—have crafted an expansive sonic journey that explores the fragile boundaries between inner and outer worlds, consciousness and cosmos.

The album’s concept, Sokolov explains, centers on the mystery of awareness itself—how it forms, perceives, and divides the world into dualities. “Nulla,” the lead single, captures that idea in sound: a haunting, ascending composition that swells with synth textures, echoing percussion, and celestial atmospherics. “Nulla was inspired by the idea that we — as living matter — are part of an evolving process that, at some point, begins to question itself,” says Sokolov. “There’s something powerful in the image of consciousness emerging from the same material that forms stars and planets — and then turning inward to ask: What am I? What is this?”

Known for their immersive live shows that merge light, motion, and sound into something almost physical, I am waiting for you last summer have earned global acclaim from stages like SXSW, dunk!festival, and Magnetic Fields, performing alongside genre heavyweights including 65daysofstatic, Alcest, and Rosetta. Sokolov’s background in crafting music for major film trailers such as Jurassic World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier lends the band’s sound an unmistakable cinematic gravity.

Without/Within unfolds like a science fiction narrative of self-awareness, blending ambient soundscapes, industrial pulses, and vast emotional crescendos. Across ten tracks—Message, Contact, Unknown, Redshift, Threshold, Nulla, Entangled, Tides, Gravity, and Quiet Sun—the band balances introspection with momentum, turning each moment into a meditation on being itself.
