Glam Punk Firestarters Gypsy Pistoleros Unleash “I’m The Prince Of The Damned”

0

Glam punk renegades Gypsy Pistoleros release the video for new single “I’m The Prince Of The Damned,” out now, taken from their upcoming album ‘Dark Faerie Tales,’ arriving April 17 via The New Church Records. The track charges forward with gothic menace and glam punk bravado, massive riffs colliding with venom laced vocals and a sleazy, hook heavy chorus built for late night alternative airwaves.

Co written and produced by Dave Draper, known for work with Michael Monroe, The Wildhearts, Therapy? and Elvana, the single captures the band at full throttle. Fur clad glam flash meets punk bite and hard rock swagger in a sound that refuses to sit quietly. “‘I’m The Prince Of The Damned'” stands as a bold statement from a band pushing their theatrical, outsider energy into darker and louder territory.

The band moved up the release in response to current events, delivering the song now with full force.

“This track was originally scheduled to be our fourth single off ‘Third Time’s A Charm,’ but with what is happening in the United States currently, we could not sit by and stay silent,” the band states. “Our message is clear: we are against sexism, bigotry, racism, and fascism. If you believe in any of these things, we are not the band for you.” Formed in 2017 and dubbed the “Punk Rock Partridge Family” by Bobby Bones, Crimson Riot features Roxy Gunn, Chris Reject and Ryan J. The 12 song album includes guest appearances from members of Buck O Nine and Lo(u)ser and marks the band’s first vinyl release.

Pacific Northwest Alt.Rock Standouts Mylo Bybee Unveil ‘Revisions’ EP

0

Pacific Northwest alt.rock torchbearers Mylo Bybee release their new EP ‘Revisions,’ out today on Gold Ship Records. The Boise based quartet expand their sonic reach with a collection that feels intimate and cinematic in equal measure. At its core is the sweeping single “I Wish You Well,” following earlier track “Time Machine.” Recorded at Den Studios in Boise and paired with a striking visual from Daymoon Films, the release captures a band in motion.

Frontman Tyler Schlagenhauf draws from years spent living off the grid in rural Alaska. “‘I Wish You Well’ taps into years living off the grid in rural Alaska, where silence is louder, distances stretch endlessly, and each day feels both brutally isolating and fiercely alive.” That emotional terrain shapes the EP’s tone, threading isolation, gratitude and perspective into performances that hit with weight and lift.

Critical praise continues to build, with SPIN placing the band in conversation with Pacific Northwest heavyweights, while New Noise, Tinnitist and Ragmag spotlight their emotional pull and high energy edge. Since forming in 2020, Mylo Bybee have carved out a powerful live reputation, bringing that momentum to festival stages and hometown crowds alike.

BLACKPINK Becomes The First Artist To Surpass 100 Million YouTube Subscribers With ‘DEADLINE’ Era

0

Global K pop phenomenon BLACKPINK become the first artist in the world to surpass 100 million YouTube subscribers. The milestone was reached at approximately 7:31 PM KST, marking the highest subscriber count ever achieved by an artist on the platform. The channel, launched June 28, 2016, reaches this historic figure nearly a decade later, underscoring the group’s sustained global momentum.

Growth accelerated with the rollout of their third mini album ‘DEADLINE.’ Since the announcement video dropped last month, the channel has added an average of 10,000 subscribers per day, reflecting intense worldwide anticipation. Subscriber count on YouTube stands as a powerful measure of fan engagement, and BLACKPINK’s numbers continue to climb even as they hold the No. 1 position among all artists globally.

The group previously became the first non English speaking act to enter the Top 5 in YouTube subscriber rankings in July 2020, later surpassing Ariana Grande, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Marshmello and Justin Bieber. In September 2021, BLACKPINK rose to No. 1 among all artists worldwide and maintain that position. Their dominance extends to views, with 50 videos surpassing 100 million views and a cumulative 41.1 billion channel views, earning recognition from Guinness World Records as the Most Viewed Band on YouTube.

BLACKPINK release their five track mini album ‘DEADLINE’ on February 27 at 2 PM KST. The project includes title track “GO,” alongside “JUMP,” “Me and My,” “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy.” YG Entertainment states that the album captures irreversible peak moments and the most defining present chapter of BLACKPINK.

It’s a great introduction to the sound I’ve been carefully curating for this new era, authentic New York sound, authentically me. I know those who are supposed to get it will love it,” says Maiya The Don. She adds, “The song is a ‘for whom it may concern’ type of thing. A response for those who questioned ‘what happened to her?!’ I am HERE and I ain’t going anywhere. An affirmational clap back, if you will!”
