Deftones Announce Feverishly Anticipated Album ‘Ohms’ September 25

0

GRAMMY Award-winning, internationally lauded band Deftones have announced their feverishly anticipated album Ohmsarriving on September 25. The announcement arrives with the epic title track, new video directed by Rafatoon and updated website at deftones.com. Speculation of the forthcoming album amongst fans has swept across the media landscape, stoking curiosity as the band’s website and social platforms went dark. The intrigue continued to rise when they revealed the striking album art on their site with no additional information. Designed by longtime collaborator Frank Maddocks (who also designed the iconic White Pony LP cover), the captivating album image of two eyes made up of thousands of white pixels cryptically appeared on a billboard in the cultural hot-spot of Los Angeles on Fairfax Avenue above the landmark restaurant Canter’s Deli with the caption “This Is Our Time…We Devour The Days Ahead.”

Recorded at Henson Studios in Los Angeles, CA and Trainwreck Studios in Woodinville, WA, Ohms is an other-worldly body of work meticulously crafted by the 5 piece band. It is a magnificent tour de force and their first album in 4 years since the critically acclaimed Gore LP in 2016. The band, which includes Chino Moreno, Frank Delgado, Stephen Carpenter, Abe Cunningham, and Sergio Vega, has produced a dense LP with every member firing on all cylinders. The album also boasts a familiar collaborator in veteran producer and engineer Terry Date, who worked on 1995’s Adrenaline, 1997’s Around the Fur and 2000’s White Pony. All of the above assembles and sets the stage to deliver Ohms; 10 tracks of raw escapism and unparalleled grooves that have made Deftones’ sound singular for over two decades.

Ohms Tracklisting:

  1. Genesis
  2. Ceremony
  3. Urantia
  4. Error
  5. The Spell of Mathematics
  6. Pompeji
  7. This Link Is Dead
  8. Radiant City
  9. Headless
  10. Ohms

This year also marks the 20 year anniversary of Deftones’ monumental album White Pony. In a virtual press conference for the 20th anniversary of the seminal body of work, the band announced that they would be releasing a companion remix album titled Black Stallion, an idea conceived during the original album’s creation. Before it was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band was scheduled to set out on a North American Summer tour.

JAYME STONE Breaks New Ground with Stunning Experimental Pop Journey, AWake & New Video for “Awake Awake”

0

Jayme Stone has made a rare thing: a piece of work that asks us to both travel on his melodic and emotional journey and allows us to have our own. And nowhere is this more apparent than his single “Awake Awake” — available now.

The newest song to land ahead of his forthcoming LP, AWake, the song serves as a prescient preview for what’s to come from Stone’s new album as he breaks new ground from folk musician and composer to experimental pop singer and producer. Available August 28th, AWake offers unique tonal palette blends with deft storytelling and disarmingly honest lyrics to create a sonic world both eminently engaging and full of nuance and surprise.

The songs mark a new creative start for Stone, who is best-known for his banjo playing and world-wise roots albums like Africa to Appalachia, Lomax Project, and Folklife. Now we hear Stone singing, playing guitar and OP 1 (a micro-synth, sampler and sequencer). He captures and sculpts sounds—felted piano, bass clarinet, analog synths and sequencers—until they’re hazy and unrecognizable.

AWake features Felicity Williams (Bahamas), Jason Burger (Big Thief), Daniela Gesundheit (Feist), Jason Linder (David Bowie), Alec Spielgelman (Cuddle Magic) and more. It was co-produced by Stone and David Travers-Smith, his longtime collaborator who has recorded, mixed, mastered and co-produced all of Stone’s records.

“For years I knew I had these songs in me,” Stone shares. “Like I had a premonition that some future me was driving backwards in time, full of songs, and at some point, we’d meet.”

In July 2018, he had earmarked six weeks off the road to start writing a new record. On day one, his brother Michael, a well-known teacher of yoga and Buddhism, died suddenly and unexpectedly. In the yawning ache of being brotherless, the songs became oracles—new ways to reckon with who his brother was, and who he himself was becoming.

Stone sings: “What you felt, we can only guess / There are mountains hidden in hiddenness.”

At times, Stone felt himself to be the keeper of his brother’s shadow, having known him so long in all his complexity. The song “Brotherless” samples his brother’s voice and quotes zen poet Dōgen’s “Mountain and Water Sutra.”

“Awake, awake, the light has come,” Stone sings in the title track; one of stargazing tales that sing from a white-hot core of love and loss, as the album as a whole consults the stars and planets for direction. In the song “Earthlight,” the sun reflects off the earth and onto the moon, capturing the mysterious ways in which the planets and constellations pull invisibly on our lives. And we feel it: the song wanders breathlessly with a sense of wonder, weaving intricate guitar melodies with unexpected offbeats and offset line-breaks, programmed drums interlaced with a drum kit, glitchy bass clarinet and vocal samples. In the glowing lostness that permeates these songs, we zoom through space as we listen: witnessing the invisible tug of forces we can’t control on our bodies and our lives.

“Mouth the Words,” conjures the tumult and tenderness of Saturn’s return, that time in our lives when we reckon with the past to renew our lives for the future. “Strike a spark / Wrap your arms around the dark / Stars align Saturn turns / Redesign everything you ever learned,” sings Stone, full of forgiveness and hope.

“My Woman’s a Nation,” is a song about long-term love, a touring musician’s love letter home—“My idol my altar / My sister my maker / My heiress my daughter / My circuit my breaker.”

Sounds and styles cross-pollinate: the warm glow of a Prophet synth, surround sound back-up vocals and a bridge that draws from spoken word. “Wait for Heaven” features bursts of pitched up vocals and kaleidoscopic hooks in the song’s upper atmosphere.

AWake was recorded at Figure 8 in Brooklyn, a space that feels more akin to a community center or Japanese monastery than a studio. Entering from the street, musicians take off their shoes and walk through the kitchen with farmer’s market produce on the counter. The studio, made of reclaimed wine barrels, cork and felt, is drenched in sunlight. The studio’s owner, Shahzad Ismaily (who also guests on the album) has a dizzying collection of rare synthesizers and one of world’s few Klavins Una Corda keyboards (which anchors several songs on the album).

AWake is available August 28, 2020.

“Awake Awake” is available now.

7 Instagram Trends That Digital Marketers Need to Look Out For

0

There has been a rapid change in Instagram trends this year, courtesy of the pandemic, and other factors.

These are trends that digital marketers need to know about to get the most out of marketing campaigns like boosting instagram followers via platforms like iDigic.net this year. These trends do not invalidate your content calendar but enable you to stay updated and adjust your calendar to fit these trends.

Below are seven of these trends:

1. Instagram Live

Streaming videos in real-time on Instagram Live is one of the most popular Instagram trends that marketers need to know as live video is currently the 3rd most used social marketing tactic.

The global pandemic and lockdowns in many countries has further helped to popularize Instagram Live. During the Lockdown, different businesses and organizations used Instagram Live to interact with their followers. And between March and April 2020, Instagram Live streaming increased by 70%.

Instagram Live has advantages that other content forms don’t have. One advantage is that it allows two-way live communication between you and your audience. Keep in mind that 43% of marketers say videos have helped to reduce the number of support calls they receive. And 95% of video marketers believe that videos give the audience a better understanding of their product.

The audience can comment and ask questions on the go, and you can answer these questions immediately. You can also add other users to your live video feed and interact with them.

You can also use Instagram Live to get valuable customer insight through live question-and-answer sessions, interview Influencers, stream a live video to show how their product works, go live during a brand event and even launch a product live.

2. Videos Over Photos

There has been an 80% increase in the time Instagram users spend watching videos. Gone are the days when photos used to dominate Instagram feeds, now videos have taken over.

Videos get 38% more engagements than photos and generate over 2X the number of comments on images

This is because people are more likely to get attracted by movement in their feeds than still images.

Given this, marketers now use videos more than photos for Ads and other marketing campaigns. And this has been very successful because about 84% of the target audience have purchased after watching a brand’s video.

A superb way to get the best out of your video content is to have a consistent design for your photos and video. Also, ensure that all videos are properly edited.

3. Instagram Stories Ads

Brands are not only taking advantage of Instagram stories, but they are also marketing their products using Instagram stories Ads.

In fact, 33% of marketers use paid ads to boost their brand awareness and 31% of the Ad budget of US marketers on Instagram is spent on Stories.

Instagram Stories Ads work because they appear in between Stories on a user’s feed and can pass as native content. Businesses own  ⅓  of the most viewed Instagram stories and 37% of the impressions brands get are from Instagram Stories.

So, If you haven’t started using Instagram Stories Ads for your marketing campaigns, you need to start now.

Instagram Stories Ads are only visible for a few seconds, so for you to get the best out of it, endeavor to keep the Ad simple and easy to understand. The visuals should also be good enough to capture the interest of the user.

The texts on the ads should be few and should be strategically placed to distract the user from focusing on the “sponsored” text at the top.

Also include the price for the product and include a call to action that will direct the users to your website.

Instagram allows you to post links on your stories, so this shouldn’t be a problem.

4. IGTV is Still Alive and Well

The importance of IGTV in Instagram marketing keeps rising every year. Instagram recently updated IGTV with some additional features which have made it a potent tool for Instagram marketing.

Marketers can now upload horizontal or landscape videos on IGTV. This enables marketers to create long-form videos. The Explore page on Instagram also now has an IGTV tab, this enables users to find videos faster.

About 50% of Instagram users, use the Explore feature monthly, so this will increase the visibility of your brand.

Also, preview IGTV videos can now be posted on Instagram feeds. IGTV previews can increase video views by over 300%.

5.  Instagram Shopping

Instagram shopping features came just right in time. This is a major trend that has skyrocketed this year because of national lockdowns across the globe. Data shows that one-third of Instagram users have made a purchase using the Instagram shopping feature.

If your business is an e-commerce brand Instagram has many features in place that will enable you to generate a steady stream of income through Instagram shopping. About 46% of Instagram users have purchased a product after seeing it on Instagram.

Shoppers can now search for products using a shopping tab on the Explore page, they can also complete entire purchases on Instagram and marketers can now tag products on posts and Stories.

To get started, you need to set up an Instagram store, this is easy to do.

Once your store has been set up, promote your products in your Instagram feed and Story, and also enable in-app checkout, this will make it easy for your customers to make purchases directly from Instagram.

6. Interactive Content

Interactive content is currently a trend on Instagram as marketers have discovered that such content increases post engagement. In fact, over 40% of marketers believe it is a crucial part of every marketing strategy.

Instagram features like Instagram Stories and Instagram Live help to create interactive content.

Boring and one-sided content won’t give you the desired engagements anymore. But you can make your content interactive by asking questions and prompting your audience to answer.

You can also create a quiz or a poll as 60% of businesses include poll stickers to create interaction on their Stories at least once a month. Also, counting down to upcoming events like a product launch, and upcoming posts will boost user engagement.

7. Instagram Social Activism

One of the biggest trends we have seen on Instagram this year is Instagram social activism which was majorly triggered by the killing of George Floyd in the United States, which led to the eruption of the “Black Lives Matter” protest.

Many influencers, marketers, and brands lent their voice to the movement by using their Instagram handle to show solidarity to the cause because 43% of consumers want brands to take a stand on social issues especially when it impacts their business.

Social activism is thriving on Instagram because it is one of the best platforms to share opinions.

Reason being that 36% of consumers will purchase more from a company if the company’s stand on social matters is clear.

A lot of social activism is going on now and you can inspire your followers and rally their support by voicing your opinion on important issues, creating a case, joining a challenge, and using a donation sticker to enable your followers to give financial aid to a cause.

Conclusion

Instagram trends evolve, and if you must stay relevant, you need to adjust to recent trends.  Ensure you always have a flexible content calendar that you can adjust to fit trend spikes.

Adjusting to these trends may be hard, but it will boost your engagements.

How to Start Playing Mobile Slots

0

Smartphones have transformed almost every sector across the globe and when it comes to gaming, this is no different. Almost half of the players now prefer to play casino games, and especially slots on the go. It doesn’t matter whether you’re travelling to work or waiting in a queue, your favourite mobile slots are always waiting for you to take them for a spin.

If you’re new to the world of mobile slots, you might get overwhelmed with thousands of mobile slots games and tons of information about them online. So, here is your ultimate guide to playing mobile slots. Read on!

Where to play mobile slots

The first step of playing mobile slots is to find a mobile casino that offers them. The unprecedented growth of the casino industry in the past few years has led to the advent of hundreds of mobile casinos. These casinos offer thousands of casino games from the top developers in the industry. However, you must start by selecting a licensed and reputable mobile casino, as these are the only sites that will offer fair gameplay and allow you to withdraw your winnings.

In addition to a multitude of mobile slots, the best mobile casinos employ various measures for the safety and security of their players, support a range of payment methods and currencies, and provide efficient customer support. So, make sure you look for these things before choosing a mobile casino to play slots.

Important slot machine gaming buttons you should know about

Once you’ve found a worthwhile mobile casino to play, it’s important for you to figure out how to manoeuvre through the game. There are some buttons that are critical when playing mobile slots:

Bet – The screen of a mobile slot game features arrows next to the Bet or Coin value sections that allow you to either increase or decrease the bet size.

Spin – The spin button is the manual option that turns the reels of the mobile slot in order to reveal the outcomes. It’s a common button that’s present in all slot games.

Autoplay – The Autoplay function spins the reels uninterruptedly for a predetermined number of spins. Players who want to speed up the gameplay usually prefer this option.

Bet Max – The Bet Max option automatically places the highest possible bet in the slot game.

Gamble – Some mobile slots also boast the Gamble feature. This option allows players to double their winnings they’ve acquired after forming a winning combination or in a bonus game. They generally consist of a 50/50 choice where winnings are doubled if you win. If the prediction goes wrong, all your bonus winnings are lost.

Variance Vs. RTP

You’ll probably encounter these terms in mobile slot reviews. The variance in mobile slots basically tells you how often you’re likely to hit winning combinations, and what will be the size of your winnings. On the other hand, the Return to Player (RTP) is a term that casinos use to describe the percentage of wagered money that the slot machine will pay back to players over time.

BAD REPUTATION DOCUMENTARY

Never before commercially released 60-minute documentary made by Linda Brusasco and first broadcast on BBC4 in September 2015.

Thin Lizzy are unquestionably one of the true icons of British rock. Nobody has ever sounded like them, yet they have influenced countless others.

Phil Lynott’s poetic lyricism, the unmatchable dual guitar precision, the ability to joust with epic melodies and make them memorably intense, all of this is part of the Lizzy heritage. And what they have left behind is peerless, powerful and influential. The invocation of an era, the evocation of timeless music.

It all began in 1970 when Lynott (bass/vocals), Eric Bell (guitar), Brian Downey (drums) and Eric Wrixon (organ) got together in Dublin. Wrixon left shortly after the band had recorded their first single ‘The Farmer’.  By the end of 1970 they’d signed to Decca Records, and released their self-titled, debut album in 1971. This record was swiftly followed the next year by second album ‘Shades of A Blue Orphanage’. Neither record charted but did showcase a band that were finding their own style.

However, early in 1973, Lizzy had their first hit single, when their version of the traditional Irish song ‘Whiskey in The Jar’ reached number six in the UK, as well as topping the chart in Ireland. Later the same year, ‘Vagabonds of The Western World’ came out as their third album. Although it failed to chart nonetheless, it proved there was something unique about what they were doing. Much to everyone’s surprise, Bell quit on New Year’s Eve 1973 and Gary Moore temporarily rejoined to help the band finish their tour, which ran into ’74.

There was to be a further shake-up, though. The band portentously decided to expand the line-up to a four-piece, with Scottish teenager Brian Robertson and American Scott Gorham both coming in on guitar. They also changed labels, signing to Vertigo. Their fourth album, ‘Nightlife’, came out in late 1974; it also featured Moore playing lead guitar on ‘Still in Love with You’.

While the much-needed album commercial breakthrough still eluded them, it was finally achieved in 1975, when ‘Fighting’ made it to number 60 in the UK. And more importantly, the unmistakable sound that we now associate so closely with Lizzy was beginning to take shape. And we headed the second half of the ’70s, the band were poised for their big break.

Sure enough, their 1976 album ‘Jailbreak’ proved to be the moment that Thin Lizzy arrived as a magical, unstoppable force. All the ingredients were now in place and the album stormed to number 10 in the UK and number 18 in America. Moreover, the supreme anthem ‘The Boys Are Back in Town’ was a transatlantic hit single. It got to number eight in Britain and number 12 in the States. The album’s title song was also successful as a single, reaching number 31 in the UK.

Unfortunately, an American tour in June ’76 with Rainbow had to be cancelled when Lynott contracted hepatitis, but they were soon back on track when the album ‘Johnny The Fox’ came out in late ’76. It peaked at number 11 in Britain and made it to number 52 Stateside. And the single ‘Don’t Believe A Word’ put them back in the UK Top, as it reached number 12.

A planned US tour in December 1976 had to be cancelled when Robertson suffered a hand injury. Moore was brought back for a subsequent American tour early in 1977, as Lizzy opened for Queen. And the band recorded their next album ‘Bad Reputation’ with Gorham commandingly handling the guitar parts. But Robertson did return in time to contribute lead and rhythm guitar parts as well as keyboards.

Lizzy headlined the Reading Festival in August ’77, and a month later the new album was released. It reached number four in the UK and number 39 in the States, with the single ‘Dancing in The Moonlight (It’s Caught Me In The Spotlight)’ again making the Top 20 in Britain, reaching number 14.

In 1978, the band released ‘Live and Dangerous’ which is rightly regarded as one of the all-time great live albums. The album reached number two in the UK but Downey had to miss tours later in the year due to illness, with Mark Nauseef being temporarily brought in. More importantly, Robertson was replaced by Moore, and this time the latter stayed for the recording of the next album ‘Black Rose: A Rock Legend’. This was released in 1979, making it to number two in Britain and number 81 in the States. There were three UK hit singles from it as well, namely ‘Waiting for An Alibi’ (#9), ‘Do Anything You Want To’ (#14) and ‘Sarah’ (#24).

Moore left the band once again after they played in Oakland at the Day on The Green Festival in July 1979 and with only a couple of days notice Ultravox’s Midge Ure filled in for the remaining tour commitments. Dave Flett was added as another guitarist later in the year, to allow Ure to play keyboards when required.

Snowy White, who had played live with Pink Floyd, was chosen as the band’s new permanent guitarist, with teenager Darren Wharton drafted in on keyboards. The new line-up released the album ‘Chinatown’ in late 1980, which got to number seven in Britain and number 120 in the US. The title track peaked at number 21 in the UK, with ‘Killer on The Loose’ doing even better, reaching number 10.

A year later, ‘Renegade’ made it to number 38 in the British album charts, with the UK single ‘Hollywood (Down on Your Luck)’ reaching number 53. Three months earlier, the band had created history by being the first to headline the first ever show at Slane Castle in Ireland on August 16.

In August 1982, White left Lizzy, and former Tygers Of Pan Tang man John Sykes was brought in for the next album, ‘Thunder and Lightning’. This record had a heavier sound than was usually associated with Lizzy, but when put out in March 1983, it had a massive impact, reaching number four in Britain. The single ‘Cold Sweat’ made it to number 27 in the UK, while the title track reached number 39 and ‘The Sun Goes Down’ peaked at number 52.

A live album, ‘Life’, came out in October 1983 and reached number 29 in the UK but the band had already split up the previous month after playing at the Monsters of Rock Festival in Nuremburg on September 4; their final British performance was a headline slot at the Reading Festival, on August 28.

On January 4, 1986, Lynott tragically died, at the age of 36. It shattered any chance for a full Lizzy reformation. However, in 1996, the band were reactivated as a formidable live concern. Since then, they’ve delivered a stunning celebration of the Thin Lizzy heritage. Not only have former members Gorham, Downey, Sykes and Wharton been involved, but a rich cavalcade of rock luminaries has also been keen to add their talents. Ricky Warwick has done a magnificent job on vocals, while among others to perform with them over the past two decades are bassists Tom Hamilton (Aerosmith), Troy Sanders (Mastodon) and Marco Mendoza (Ted Nugent, Whitesnake), drummers Tommy Aldridge (Whitesnake, Ozzy), Scott Travis (Judas Priest) and Ian Haugland (Europe), plus guitarists Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) and Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses). The fact such high-profile names have been delighted to play a role in commemorating the history of Thin Lizzy underlines the indelible impact it’s had on succeeding generations.

What this band have left behind is remarkable. They have inspired the likes of Metallica, Jon Bon Jovi, Alice In Chains and countless others, and their legacy has become more vital with each passing year. Legend is a ridiculously overused term these days, but in the case of Thin Lizzy it’s inadequate, you just have to listen to their music, it’s still timely and era defining.

“Some songs were also recorded this way, using their closets as makeshift sound booths.”

No small feat for the legacy group that continues to create top-quality music and content beloved by both parents and kids on tour, in the recording studio, and online, even now during challenging restrictions placed by COVID-19.

“This is an exciting release,” Hodgins says of MINI POP KIDS 18. “This is the largest assembly of voices we’ve had on an album in more than a decade.”

Among the 16 voices heard throughout the release are some newly welcomed members Kyra (Kingston, ON), Aliyah Rose (King City, ON), Julia (Whitby, ON), Liv (Brampton, ON), Camden (Innisfil, ON), and Noam (Vaughan, ON).

Best Way To Learn Electric Guitar

0

Everybody dreams of being a rock star, playing the guitar like the late, great Jimi Hendrix, but where should you start?

Although playing the electric guitar can look quite complex with lots of practice and dedication there is no reason you won’t be able to play your favourite songs on the guitar.

Let’s have a look through some tips and tricks to get you started into turning into that rock star!

Choosing The Right Guitar For You

Although you may be tempted into buying the most lavish and expensive guitar there is, it’s probably a good idea to start with something a little cheaper.

You don’t want to blow all your money on an instrument then find out you don’t have the commitment needed that it takes to learn how to play.

Maybe start off with an acoustic guitar, so that you can get your head around the guitar’s workings before moving onto an electric guitar.

However if you have your heart set on an electric guitar, maybe try looking for a second hand one that is in good condition.

Have a little search online to find the perfect second hand guitar for you. If you are unsure what to look for then seek advice from a specialized music instrument shop or do a little research online.

Where To Learn The Basics

Once you have purchased your electric guitar and had a little play around with it, you will now be wanting to learn the basics.

The Best Way To Learn Electric Guitar would be to find some online courses that can teach you the basics all the way up to the more complicated stuff.

You could also try and find yourself a local tutor near to where you live, again doing a quick search on google or your favourite search engine to discover tutors who are nearby.

If you are feeling confident, and you are somebody who can learn things quite quickly, then you could always look for video tutorials online to try and self teach. Be warned though there are many online videos that offer to teach you how to play your electric guitar and while some will be very helpful some may be a complete waste of time.

Time Management Is Key

If you are serious about learning how to play the electric guitar, you will need to set aside a fair amount of time to practice.

Try and set yourself a daily, weekly and monthly calendar of when you will be practicing and learning your new guitar. Try to get into a habit so that you are practicing at the same time each day.

Sometimes you may become frustrated if you are not learning or getting better at the pace you wish to, but try not to get disheartened, learning a new skill like playing the electric guitar can and will take a long period of time.

Guitar Rock stars like Jimi Hendrix didn’t learn to play as well as they did over night. It can take years of dedication, so don’t give up just yet.

Find A Good Practice Spot

Where you practice and learn your electric guitar can be just as important as your method of learning. You need a good environment that sets the right mood for learning.

Make sure whichever room you choose to practice in has plenty of light and has no other distractions around like a loud television. You need somewhere where you can learn in peace without any distractions.

You also need to make sure that you are comfortable as you may be practicing for a long period of time, so be sure to be sitting somewhere comfy.

You may want to show off your newly learned guitar skills but while you are dedicating your time to learning it would be best not to be around friends or loved ones that may distract you.

So instead use the time you set aside for learning for just that and show off what you have learnt after practice time.

Learn The Basic Chords

Playing chords is vitally important for playing most songs so learning how to play the most basic chords early on will be extremely advantageous.

Open chords are the easiest to learn and are a great gateway into learning the more complicated chords.

Like everything in life practice makes perfect! Learn a few basic chords and keep practicing them, strumming them over and over and switching between one chord to another.

This is a great way to get your hands used to the positions they need to be in to play the chords and with lots of repetitions, it should start to become more natural for you.

Once you have memorized the first few chords, move on to another set and so on and so forth. Even with just a small repertoire of chords you should be able to start playing something that will resemble some kind of song.

How Long Will It Take Me To Learn

Now that is a hard question, which can be answered by how long is a piece of string. It really depends on many things how long it will take you to master the electric guitar.

Some people are very musically talented and will pick it up in no time at all while others it may take a lot longer.

Instead of worrying how long it will take, enjoy the process as after all you should be learning and practicing on your guitar because of the fun it brings you,

With lots of practice, hard work and dedication you should start to see results in your playing ability within the first month or so. Your method of learning will also play a key role in how you will be able to improve.

To Summarise

Being able to play a musical instrument like the electric guitar is such a wonderful skill to have, and although it’s not easy to learn it’s certainly worth all the effort.

Practice, practice and practise some more and you will soon be that rock star you have always dreamed of becoming!
