Indie Pop Songwriter fanclubwallet Unveils First Love Song “Moving Unison”

0

Indie pop songwriter fanclubwallet, the project of Hannah Judge, returns with “Moving Unison,” out now via Lauren Records, alongside a new video and a notable first. This is Judge’s first-ever love song, and it arrived mid-drive, sparked by a moment of reflection in the highway carpool lane. The track glows with understated warmth while staying rooted in her sharp lyrical lens.

“I wondered if most of the people in the carpool lane are lovers,” Judge shares, describing how the metaphor unfolded. Referencing the Who’s Line Is It Anyway? game “Helping Hands,” she adds, “I think that’s kind of a metaphor for relationships in a funny way.” Produced in collaboration with Pat Linehan, “Moving Unison” pairs that playful insight with intimate indie pop textures. fanclubwallet now takes the song on the road with U.S. dates in Boise, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City, bringing this new chapter directly to the stage.

Tour Dates
3/26 – Boise, ID at Treefort Music Fest
3/28 – Los Angeles, CA at Permanent Records Roadhouse
3/30 – Chicago, IL at Beat Kitchen
4/02 – New York City, NY at Elsewhere Zone 1

Los Angeles Hard Rock Trio The Rift Strike Fast With “Lightning”

0

Los Angeles hard rock trio The Rift unleash “Lightning,” a high-voltage single that channels the restless energy of the Sunset Strip straight into modern rock. Built from gritty riffs and driving percussion, the track moves with urgency from the first line, “Shockwaves crashing on the golden coast,” and never loosens its grip. This is muscle and melody colliding at full speed.

Founded by SoCal native Aris Anagnos, The Rift pull from the textures of LA itself, freeway hum, late-night neon, and concrete heat baked into the rhythm. Alongside Garrett McGaugh and Jan Away, Anagnos shapes a sound that fuses heavy rock with flashes of thrash, blues, reggae, and flamenco influence. “Lightning” captures that fusion without restraint. It surges, it pivots, and it lands with impact.

The chorus hits like a declaration: “Come on you know lightning strikes / Against all the odds / I’ll hit you right between the eyes.” There is defiance baked into every measure. Groove-heavy swagger gives way to full-throttle drive, and the progressive twists keep the momentum sharp. This is LA rock with teeth, built loud and meant to travel far.

“Lightning” feels less like a debut and more like a statement. The Rift are not circling the scene, they are stepping directly into it, amps on ten and voltage rising.

Irish Singer Songwriter Megan O’Neill Delivers ‘The Questioning Type’

0

Irish singer songwriter Megan O’Neill returns with ‘The Questioning Type’, a three-track EP shaped by illness, loss, and personal change. Written during a period of deep transition, the release moves through grief, uncertainty, and the quiet strength that surfaces in moments of connection. This is intimate songwriting, steady and unguarded.

“All three songs were written during a period of change and grief, while I was slowly losing someone very close to me to a long-term illness,” O’Neill shares. The opening track, “She Is the Bird,” written in West Cork overlooking Coolmain Beach, reflects on shared sorrow and the comfort found in companionship. “It’s about how misery can become bearable when you have company,” she says.

“You Don’t Feel Like Home” emerged from post-pandemic trips back to London, a city O’Neill once called home for five years. The track explores displacement and the way grief reshapes familiar spaces. The title song, “The Questioning Type,” sits at the emotional center. “Grief made me question everything,” she says. “Why are we here? What’s it all for? Where do we go?”

Recorded at Sonic Studios with producer Ber Quinn, the EP features Paul Kenny, Joe Doyle, Sam Killeen, Gareth Quinn Redmond, and David Murphy. Known for a commanding vocal presence and emotionally driven writing, O’Neill brings focus and depth to every line. ‘The Questioning Type’ closes one chapter while opening another, grounded in honesty and growth.

Glasgow Hard Rock Outfit Mason Hill Unleash “Twisted” And Turn Up The Heat

Glasgow hard rock outfit Mason Hill kick the door back open with “Twisted,” out now via 7Hz Productions, alongside a brand-new video that doubles down on their heavier direction. Built around a killer opening riff from James Bird, the track dives headfirst into toxic love and addictive chaos. It is dark, melodic, and engineered to hit hard in a live room.

“‘Twisted’ started with James’ straight-killer riff… The song is about a relationship that’s so wrong that it’s right,” says vocalist Tom Ward. “It’s a mix of grit and melody, a poppy chorus and a balls-to-the-wall breakdown section.” That push and pull defines the track. Crushing guitars and thundering drums drive it forward while Ward’s vocal moves from restraint to full-throttle power without blinking.

Produced by Dan Weller, “Twisted” and previous single “Remember” mark the first chapter of Mason Hill’s second album, now fully recorded. With Ward stepping in alongside James Bird, Marc Montgomery, Matt Ward, and Craig McFetridge, the band sound revitalized and sharp. “It feels like a turning point,” Ward says. Mason Hill are not easing back in. They are charging forward.

The band take this new era on the road in March 2026, with dates already selling fast across the UK. Manchester, London, Glasgow, and a sold-out Wolverhampton show are locked in. New music, loud nights, and a lineup firing on all cylinders. Mason Hill are stepping into this chapter with force.

Genre Bender Oliver Tree Drops “Flowers” From ‘Love You Madly, Hate You Badly’

0

Oliver Tree returns with “Flowers,” a sharp left turn and a bold step forward from his upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Love You Madly, Hate You Badly,’ arriving this Spring. The Los Angeles-based genre disruptor continues to blur the edges of pop, alternative, and experimental production, refusing to settle into any predictable lane. “Flowers” lands with the kind of calculated unpredictability that has defined his entire career.

The single follows “Superhero” and “Joyride,” expanding the sonic palette of an album recorded across seven continents and 80 countries. From Africa to China to Afghanistan, Tree built this record on movement and immersion, pulling global textures into his already elastic sound. This is not a casual rollout. It is a fully realized creative arc unfolding in real time.

The music video, conceptualized by Tree himself, leans into his signature deadpan absurdity. One moment he is dancing on an airplane wing in a full pilot uniform. The next he is vacuuming the cabin with meticulous focus. It is surreal, controlled chaos delivered with a straight face, and it reinforces his ability to fuse performance art with pop spectacle.

Oliver Tree does not release songs quietly. “Flowers” is another reminder that he operates on his own blueprint, pushing genre lines while building an album shaped by global travel and restless experimentation. The fourth chapter is loading, and he is steering it exactly where he wants it to go.

LA Genre-Bender Ando San Fuses Metal And Hip Hop On “iLL”

0

LA-born artist Ando San continues his shape-shifting run with the new single “iLL,” following “Thick Neck” and last year’s ‘OH KAY’ EP. Known for moving from instrumental math rock to jazz-leaning hip hop and boom-bap funk fusion, he now leans fully into the collision of his metal and rap roots. The result is tense, heavy, and rhythmically sharp.

“‘iLL’ is a song that highlights how trying to build a career as an independent artist requires so much work and so many decisions to be made all the time, that it can physically make you unwell,” he shares. “Musically, this song is a culmination of my metal and hip hop roots… I actually started out as a metal vocalist before I was a rapper.” The track brings that history forward with force.

Alt.Rock Trio Viva Los Villains Ignite With “Hunter’s Moon”

0

Chichester alt rock trio Viva Los Villains step forward with “Hunter’s Moon,” a brooding, guitar-led single that sharpens their presence in the UK scene. Blending distorted riffs with indie introspection and a touch of folk warmth, the track captures the quiet fallout of love with a steady, slow-burning pull. It feels focused and fully realized.

Built on driving rhythms and emotionally exposed vocals, “Hunter’s Moon” leans into honesty over theatrics. The line “Don’t call me baby / One time it was love…” lands with unfiltered directness, tracing the aftershock of a relationship that still echoes. The chorus circles back in hypnotic fashion, mirroring the emotional loop at the heart of the song.

Formed in 2024, Viva Los Villains fuse rock, country, and indie into a textured, guitar-driven sound rooted in storytelling. With Tom Marfleet, Jonathan Ordidge, and Aaron Bailey at the core, the band continue building momentum through songs that balance grit and reflection. “Hunter’s Moon” stands as a confident marker of where they are headed next.

Austin Roots Rock Veterans The Band Of Heathens Unleash ‘Country Sides’

0

Austin roots rock mainstays The Band Of Heathens celebrate 20 years with the release of ‘Country Sides’, out now. Self-produced with longtime collaborator Jim Vollentine, the album is a guitar-driven, piano-pounding statement from a band that has built its career on its own terms. It arrives with the single “Lead Don’t Follow,” premiered by SPIN, and a growing tour schedule across the U.S.

The record lands at a milestone moment. Their recording of “Hurricane” is now certified platinum, “Take The Cake” sits at #2 on the Americana chart after three weeks in the Top 5 and is Top 40 at AAA, and the band continues to chart its own course. “There’s the conventional way and then there’s our way,” the band shares. “Finding our own voice and standing firm in what made us different was the only way to have longevity.”

Founded in Austin by Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist, the group has moved from barroom stages to national venues while maintaining full creative control. ‘Country Sides’ was tracked in just over a week at their studio, The Finishing School, and features standouts including “She’s The Night,” “Lead Don’t Follow,” and “Pleasing People.” The sound is loose, lived-in, and grounded in country, soul, and rock and roll tradition.

The ‘Country Sides’ Tour kicks off March 6 with a homecoming show at ACL Live in Austin before heading to Chicago, Atlanta, Indianapolis, New Orleans, and more. Two decades in, The Band Of Heathens are still pushing forward, celebrating endurance, craft, and a fiercely independent spirit that defines their legacy.

Belfast Indie Rock Risers Monday’s Child Ignite With “Over Again”

0

Belfast indie rock quartet Monday’s Child step into a new chapter with “Over Again,” a bold, guitar-driven single that follows their debut EP ‘Modern Affair’. Swells of distortion meet a soaring, radio-ready chorus, capturing the tension between devotion and doubt. The band sound energized and fully in stride.

Produced by Darragh Tibbs, the track leans into the chemistry the group have built on stages across Ireland. Touring alongside acts like Swim School and CRAWLERS sharpened their dynamics and expanded their reach, and that momentum pulses through every hook. “Over Again” feels immediate, emotionally charged, and built to echo back from a crowd.

Lead singer Jen calls the song “a deeply introspective and personal look at my doubts and fears in the face of a pure love.” The band filmed the video with Anna Burnett at The Fairy Glen in Rostrevor, chasing a sense of youthful mischief and freedom. The result is vibrant and magnetic, a statement of growth from a band clearly ascending.
