The Andy Kim Christmas Comes to River Rock Casino Resort December 13

Live Nation, in partnership with The Legacy Loog Foundation, and Shocore Music will present the inaugural West Coast edition of The Andy Kim Christmas concert on Dec. 13, 2025, at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, B.C. This milestone event will unite an all-star roster of Canadian music icons for an evening of unforgettable performances, with proceeds benefiting Variety – the Children’s Charity of B.C. , supporting children with disabilities and complex health needs across the province.

For 21 years, the Andy Kim Christmas has been a marquee fixture of the Canadian music calendar, raising more than $2.25 million for charity and featuring collaborations between some of the country’s most celebrated artists. Past performers have included Barenaked Ladies, Broken Social Scene, Alex Lifeson, Men Without Hats, Dan Hill, William Prince, Molly Johnson, Billy Talent, Kim Mitchell, Serena Ryder, Tom Cochrane, Burton Cummings, Cowboy Junkies, Nelly Furtado, and Dallas Green.

Tickets to The Andy Kim Christmas are on sale now at ticketmaster.ca. The complete line up of musical guests taking the stage will be announced in the coming weeks.

To maximize donations for this this year’s event Andy has enlisted long-time friend, Grammy award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Andrew Loog Oldham and The Legacy Loog Foundation to help him acquire some incredible one-of-a-kind music memorabilia and online auction items. So far, donations have been made from globally renowned super stars such as: Peter Frampton, Paul Rogers (Bad Co.), Mike Reno (Loverboy) and Peter Noone (Herman’s Hermits), photographer Gered Mankowitz, as well as WestJet airlines and a special thanks to Music Royalties Inc. for allowing the use of the recently recovered Rod Stewart film “Rod the Mod”. Andy Kim, Montreal-born Canadian has sold over 30 million records worldwide and a string of timeless hits including Sugar, Sugar and Rock Me Gently. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada, a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, an inductee to the Canadian Songwriter’s Hall of Fame and Canada’s Walk of Fame, as well as the recipient of the SOCAN Cultural Impact Award. Country Visionary Tyler Childers Releases New Album ‘Snipe Hunter’

Tyler Childers’ new thirteen-song album, ‘Snipe Hunter,’ is out now via Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records. Produced by Rick Rubin with additional production from Childers and Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn, the record cements Childers as one of country music’s most unpredictable and creative voices.

The album’s lead track, “Eatin’ Big Time,” arrives alongside a new video directed by James Mackel (Doechii, A$AP Rocky). Critics are already calling ‘Snipe Hunter’ “the most visionary country album of the year” (GQ), praising its mix of grit, wanderlust, and spiritual storytelling.

Childers’ “On The Road Tour” continues this fall with stops at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium, Nashville’s GEODIS Park, and London’s O2 Arena.

Metal Titans High on Fire Continue Touring Behind ‘Cometh the Storm’

High on Fire is continuing to roar across continents in support of its celebrated LP, ‘Cometh the Storm.’ The GRAMMY-winning metal powerhouse is currently on its sixteen-city, nine-country European tour, which began October 25 in Maastricht, Netherlands. Highlights include performances at Samhain Festival, Bruges is Doomed, and the U.K.’s Damnation Festival. Necrot joins as support on non-festival dates.

Following a string of sold-out summer shows with Acid Bath and a successful September North American run with Charger and Bastardane, High on Fire keeps momentum strong as it heads toward final European dates in Turkey. The band also appeared at Sacramento’s Aftershock Festival and Jacumba Breakdown Fest in October.

“High on Fire is headed to stages near you,” the band said. “Let’s get LOUD.”

Howard Jones Celebrates 40 Years of ‘Dream Into Action’ With Limited Edition Double Vinyl ‘Farmyard Sessions’

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Dream Into Action, Cherry Red Records has released Dream Into Action – Farmyard Sessions, a limited edition orange-colored double vinyl now available worldwide. The 20-track collection revisits one of the most influential synthpop albums of the 1980s, giving fans rare and previously unreleased recordings that capture the early creative spark behind Howard Jones’ iconic sound.

The Farmyard Sessions vinyl features 16 tracks recorded at Farmyard Studios in the UK that were previously only available on the bonus CD from 2018’s sold-out Dream Into Action Superdeluxe box set, plus four additional special mixes and versions. Along with the restored audio, the package includes unseen photos from the original Dream Into Action photo shoot with Simon Fowler, making it a collector’s essential.

Originally released in 1985, Dream Into Action reached #2 in the UK and climbed into the Top 10 on the U.S. Billboard charts, cementing Jones as one of new wave’s defining voices. The album produced timeless hits such as “Things Can Only Get Better,” “No One Is To Blame,” “Life In One Day,” and “Like To Get To Know You Well.” The resurgence of “Things Can Only Get Better” after its inclusion in Stranger Things introduced Jones’ music to a new generation of fans, reaffirming its lasting power.

Howard Jones’ career spans more than four decades of chart-topping hits, acclaimed albums, and iconic performances, from his keytar-driven appearance at the 1985 Grammy Awards alongside Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, and Thomas Dolby, to his set at Live Aid at Wembley Stadium the same year. With over 10 million albums sold worldwide, Jones continues to perform and create, most recently releasing Dialogue in 2022, the final chapter in his trilogy of electronic releases following Transform (2019) and Engage (2015).
