GRAMMY-nominated artist mgk revisits his pop-punk breakthrough with Tickets To My Downfall (All Access), a heartfelt anniversary edition of his 2020 chart-topping album. Executive produced by Travis Barker, the expanded edition includes five previously unreleased tracks recorded during the original sessions, offering fans a deeper look into the creative fire that defined his musical transformation.

The release week featured daily drops at 9:25 AM PT, including “no cell phones in rehab,” “home bittersweet home,” “i tried again,” and “Secrets.” Tickets To My Downfall marked a pivotal turning point in mgk’s career, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 and earning Platinum certifications for singles like “bloody valentine” and “my ex’s best friend,” both of which topped the Alternative charts.

Inhaler Unveil Anthemic New Single ‘Hole In The Ground’

Irish rockers Inhaler return with their soaring new single ‘Hole In The Ground,’ out now on Polydor Records. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios with Grammy and Brit Award-winning producer Kid Harpoon, the track marks their first release since the chart-topping album Open Wide and arrives just in time for their sold-out headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

‘Hole In The Ground’ captures Inhaler at their most cinematic, weaving melancholic hooks, glimmering guitars, and a hypnotic pulse into a soundscape that’s both intimate and immense. Frontman Eli Hewson shares, “To us, ‘Hole In The Ground’ is a song that was born out of our stream of consciousness. Some time away from writing allowed us to go into the studio with a sort of blank slate which felt inspiring. We also brought in some incredible fire performers and even a real firefighter from the adult industry named Eva Angelina. Without giving too much away, let’s just say the video is HOTTT!”

Written by Lorraine alongside guitarist and producer Steve Brown and guitarist David Julian, “Bad Love” dives deep into the tension between passion and danger. “It’s about that magnetic kind of connection you know isn’t good for you, but you keep going back anyway,” Lorraine explains. “It’s messy, it’s addictive, and it’s real. I wanted to capture that push-and-pull between desire and self-preservation. We’ve all been there. We see the red flag and still jump in headfirst… but if that red flag’s on fire? Baby, that’s your cue to run.”

Steve Brown brought together an all-star lineup for the track, featuring Joey Cassata on drums, Sean McNabb on bass, and a blistering guitar solo from Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal. The result is a hard-hitting anthem that channels the spirit of classic Femme Fatale while pushing their sound into scorching new territory.

The Wood Brothers Announce 2026 Winter Tour and Share New Video for “Above All Others”

The Wood Brothers are hitting the road this winter in support of their acclaimed album Puff of Smoke. Following their previously announced return to Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on March 5, the trio has added 15 new shows spanning the Southeast and Midwest from January through March 2026. Tickets go on artist presale Wednesday, October 29 at 10 am local time, with general on-sale beginning Friday, October 31 at 10 am local time.

The tour begins January 29 at The Eastern in Atlanta and winds through the Southeast, including two nights at The Orange Peel in Asheville and three Florida stops. After a short break, the band heads north to the Town Ballroom in Buffalo on February 26, before continuing to the Midwest for shows at the Royal Oak Music Theatre, The Kent Stage, and Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre. The run wraps up in the Carolinas with performances in Charlotte on March 6 and Durham’s Carolina Theatre on March 7.

Alongside the tour news, The Wood Brothers have shared a video for “Above All Others,” directed by bassist Chris Wood. Oliver Wood describes the track as “Queen meets circus music, with big anthemic power chords and Freddie Mercury–style operatic, over-the-top choruses.” The video visually captures that exuberant energy while reflecting the band’s signature blend of playfulness and soul.

Puff of Smoke, the band’s ninth studio album, showcases their fearless creativity and collaborative spirit. Across 11 tracks, The Wood Brothers fuse Latin-inflected guitars, post-jazz rhythms, and anthemic sing-alongs into a sound both familiar and freshly alive. It’s a record that radiates joy and curiosity, mirroring the band’s continued evolution nearly two decades after their debut Ways Not to Lose in 2006.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation is turning up the volume for its 40th Annual Induction Ceremony, revealing an expanded lineup of music legends and cultural icons who will help celebrate this year’s honorees. The ceremony takes place November 8 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will stream live coast to coast on Disney+ at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT, with a primetime ABC special set for January 1, 2026, and next-day streaming on Hulu.

Newly announced guests include Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Janelle Monáe, Donald Glover, En Vogue, Feist, Gina Schock, Hurby Luv Bug Azor, Jerry Cantrell, Jim Carrey, Joe Perry, The Killers, Lisa Coleman, Mick Fleetwood, Mike McCready, Nancy Wilson, Nathaniel Rateliff, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Rachael Sage & The Sequins Release Heartfelt New Folk-Pop Album ‘Canopy’

Beloved folk-pop artist Rachael Sage and her longtime band The Sequins have unveiled their radiant new album Canopy via MPress Records. A beacon of hope and compassion, Canopy explores themes of acceptance, inclusivity, and emotional safety through songs that shimmer with humanity and heart. Across its 14 tracks, Sage channels her signature blend of Americana, pop, and neo-folk into a project that feels both deeply personal and powerfully universal.

“Canopy is the first album that I feel reflects every aspect of my artistry, not only as a singer, producer, and musician, but also as a songwriter,” shares Sage. “I’d like to say this is because the album is full of brand-new songs, but some of them were composed when I was a teenager or in my 20’s. The title track just fell out after one too many late-night doomscrolls where the amount of violence and discord I digested in the span of a few minutes was so intense and so demoralizing that I wanted to crawl into a hole and stay there. They’re among the most honest lyrics I’ve ever written, but it very quickly formed an almost visceral image of an entire album focused on inclusiveness, acceptance, safety and empathy started to crystallize in my mind.”

In celebration of release week, Sage has also shared the video for “Live It Up,” a joyous behind-the-scenes glimpse at her band in their element. Inspired by Dionne Farris’ hit “I Know,” the video captures spontaneous moments of laughter, connection, and creativity, echoing the spirit of the song — a reminder to find joy and unity in everyday collaboration.

Produced by Rachael Sage alongside GRAMMY-nominated engineer Mikhail Pivovarov, Canopy features performances from a talented roster of longtime collaborators including Kelly Halloran (Goo Goo Dolls), Trina Hamlin (Susan Werner), and Ward Williams (Sara Bareilles). Mixed by Pivovarov and GRAMMY-winner Andy Zulla (Kelly Clarkson, Rod Stewart, Diana Ross), the record brims with warmth and empathy.

“When I recorded the songs with my band The Sequins it really felt like a metaphor; this group of beautiful, brilliant humans have been and continue to be a kind of shelter and safe place for me,” Sage concludes. “We are all very good friends and there’s a solidness and sense of gratitude when we come together that just felt like a kind of antidote in these chaotic times, so I decided to debut our Rachael Sage & The Sequins moniker for the first time with this recording. Cure’s Robert Smith on guitar. The track is the first glimpse of the band’s long-awaited album arriving in 2026 and channels the emotional storm of grief, love, and mental illness through a haunting, propulsive sound.

Singer and lyricist James Graham shares, “Waiting For The Phone Call is about grief, love, and mental illness. These things took over my life and I became ill. I lost the person most important to me in one of the cruellest ways. I’ve always used writing as a method of processing and coping with my emotions. My emotions became a problem and I couldn’t control them, writing music with Andy… especially the past seven years had been both the escape and the opportunity to process and try and make sense of life. We’ve all been waiting on a phone call that can change our lives at some point. This unfortunately focuses on a phone call that you never want to have.”

The Twilight Sad will take the new single on the road with an extensive UK and European headline tour in April and May 2026, including a London show at the Roundhouse. They’ll also appear as special guests of The Cure throughout June and July. Full tour dates are below.

Tony Banks Book Celebrates the Magician of Genesis

Tony Banks, the visionary keyboardist and songwriter behind Genesis, is finally getting his own spotlight in Tony Banks: Man of Spells – The Magician of Genesis. Written by Italian music journalist Mario Giammetti, the book explores the life and artistry of one of rock’s most creative forces. Giammetti, who has already penned 15 books about Genesis, including Genesis – 1967 to 1975: The Peter Gabriel Years and Genesis – 1975 to 2025: The Phil Collins Years, brings his deep knowledge and insight to this long-overdue profile.

The new release dives into both Banks’s monumental career with Genesis and his often-underappreciated solo work, offering a complete view of an artist whose compositions helped shape progressive rock’s golden age. The book is based on extensive interviews conducted by Giammetti over the years with Banks and others close to him, painting a detailed and personal portrait of the musician’s evolution.

More than 100 images are featured throughout the book, including rare and previously unseen photographs that bring readers closer to the creative world of Banks. For fans, it’s both a visual archive and an intimate chronicle of one of rock’s great minds.

“While there have been various books written by or about all the other major players in Genesis, there has until now never been one focused exclusively on Tony Banks,” says Gregory Spawton, co-owner of Kingmaker Publishing. “We felt it was important to shine a brighter light on his life and career.”
