Woodhawk Roar Back With Thunderous New Album ‘Love Finds a Way’ and Cross-Canada Tour

0

After five years, Calgary’s stoner groove rock trio Woodhawk is back on the road, roaring across Canada from August through October. The tour celebrates their electrifying new album ‘Love Finds a Way,’ released June 6 via Grand Hand Records. Fans can expect a thunderous set filled with new tracks and classics, each powered by the raw intensity and joy that make Woodhawk one of Canada’s most magnetic live acts.

‘Love Finds a Way’ captures a moment of transformation for the trio. The album bridges the band’s heavy rock roots with new emotional depth, layering in melody and atmosphere while keeping the irresistible grooves that pulse through every riff. It’s Woodhawk’s biggest sound yet – confident, soulful, and unapologetically loud.

Themes of darkness, healing, and hope drive the record forward, with longtime collaborator Jesse Gander adding cosmic synth textures that expand the band’s reach. Guitarist and vocalist Turner Midzain, bassist Mike Badmington, and drummer Kevin Nelson channel five years of evolution into every beat, riff, and roar. This is a band that plays from the heart and aims straight for the soul.

“We are over the moon to get this album out,” the band shares. “It really is a journey of getting out of the darkness and into the light. Check in with your friends and loved ones. Hug the ones you love. Be nicer to each other. Love will always prevail and be stronger than anything else. After ten years of being a band, I feel like we are still just getting started!”

How to Use Multistreaming to Reach More Music Fans

0

By Mitch Rice

They say music is food for the soul. No one expected live music to travel beyond concert halls. Today, technology makes that possible in surprising ways. A singer in their bedroom can reach a massive audience. It might rival the crowd of a concert hall. In the past, fans only enjoyed live music at concerts. Others had to listen on the radio. Not everyone can attend a concert in person. Many now enjoy live music through streams on their devices. Multistreaming takes this to another level. It allows one performance to reach fans on every platform.

Why Multistreaming Matters for Reaching Music Fans

Fans love live content because it feels authentic and interactive. Facebook Live videos get triple the engagement of regular videos. People enjoy the real-time connection. Some dance in a concert hall. Others watch from their living room.

Live streaming is now mainstream. Over one-quarter of internet users watch live streams each week. But these viewers are spread across many different platforms. Over half of live stream viewers use YouTube. Around 42% watch on Facebook Live. Many others prefer Instagram or TikTok. No single platform reaches all your fans. Multistreaming fixes that. It’s like playing on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram at once. You’re everywhere your audience likes to watch. That means more viewers and higher engagement. It also leads to more new fans discovering your music.

Live streaming also breaks geographic barriers. Someone anywhere in the world can enjoy your performance live. That kind of global reach is impossible with in-person shows.

How to Use Multistreaming to Reach More Music Fans

Ready to share your music with the widest audience possible? Multistreaming might sound technical, but it’s quite straightforward. Here’s how to do it:

Plan Your Live Stream Event

Decide what you want to stream and when. It could be a live concert. Maybe a casual jam session or a Q&A with fans. Pick a time when your audience is likely online. Let your followers know the plan ahead of time. Post the stream date and time on your social media. Planning and promotion will ensure fans show up to watch.

Pick a Multistreaming Platform

Streaming to multiple sites at once requires a special tool. Choose a multistreaming platform that makes it easy. This way, you only have to stream once. It will broadcast your video to all selected sites. Everything goes live at the same time. You don’t need extra devices. You also won’t need to upload the video multiple times. The Best platform for music live streaming is  OneStream Live, which lets you broadcast to 45+ platforms at once. It works right from your browser. No complicated setup is needed. OneStream Live also combines your live chats in one place. You can see and respond to every fan’s comment. You can schedule pre-recorded videos to play as live streams. That gives you flexibility to stream content anytime.

Set Up Your Stream

Sign up for OneStream Live. Link your social channels within the app. It usually only takes a few clicks. Once everything is connected, create your stream. Write a catchy title and description for your live session. These details will appear on each platform. Make them grab viewers’ attention. Do a quick test stream to check everything. Test your camera, microphone, and connection.

Go Live and Engage Your Fans

Engage with your viewers on all platforms during the stream. Greet your audience and acknowledge their comments or song requests. Fans on different sites can all watch together now. Try to interact with everyone. For example, answer a question from a YouTube viewer. Then give a shout-out to a commenter on Facebook. This makes each viewer feel included. Involving your fans makes the stream more enjoyable for them. They will also stick around longer. When viewers feel valued, they may even share the stream. They might invite friends to join as well. This can grow your reach even more.

Keep the Momentum Going

Don’t make multistreaming a one-time thing. Go live regularly to keep your audience growing. Consider maintaining a regular schedule. Go live at the same time each week. That way, fans know when to tune in. Some artists even run live streams 24/7 by looping content. They keep something playing at all hours. OneStream Live makes this easy. You can schedule a playlist of pre-recorded videos. They will stream non-stop on your channel. Your stream will be live whenever fans check their phones. That means more people have a chance to find you. Be sure to save your streams or highlights. People who missed the live show can watch the recording. It will get them excited for your next stream.

Final Thoughts

Multistreaming allows you to be on every stage at once. It might seem like extra work at first. But tools like OneStream Live make it easy and accessible. Have you been thinking about expanding your online audience? Now is the perfect time to try multistreaming. You don’t need fancy gear or a big budget. Passion and a reliable internet connection are enough.

Remember, authenticity matters more than perfection. Your fans will appreciate the real connection. So go ahead and hit “Go Live” on all channels. Your next biggest fan could be watching from anywhere.

In Transmission Elevate Emotion and Atmosphere on Expansive New EP ‘Betterment’

0

Southern California post-rock/indie group In Transmission release for their new EP, Betterment, is out now, and it’s a a cinematic and emotionally expansive collection that marks the next chapter in the band’s evolution. The EP was produced by Beau Burchell (SaosinChevelleSenses FailERRA) and showcases the group’s continued growth into a more vocal-forward, alternative-driven sound.

To mark the announcement, the band has released a brand-new music video for the lead single “Catching Up.” The track blends atmospheric textures with raw vulnerability, offering a glimpse into the emotional depth and dynamic range of the Betterment EP. Drums for the record were tracked in the tranquil isolation of the San Gabriel Mountains at Pale Moon Ranch, with the remaining recording taking place at Burchell’s private studio in Temecula, California. The EP was mastered by Alan Douches (West West Side Music)

Betterment is a meditation on personal growth, healing, and the quiet moments that shape transformation, delivered with In Transmission’s signature blend of post-rock intensity and ambient layering. Leaning further into post-hardcore and alt-rock influences, the EP fuses heavy rhythms with Martin Diaz’s layered, immersive vocals that serve as another instrument in the mix. Lyrically, it calls for both individual and societal reflection, an urgent message to “do better” in a world that desperately needs it.

Formed in 2011 by guitarist/vocalist Martin Diaz (formerly of hardcore act Mikoto), In Transmission began as an outlet to explore spacey, melodic soundscapes influenced by post-rock pioneers like Explosions in the SkyMogwai, and Sigur Rós. Joined by longtime friends Garrett Carroll (drums, A Music Box Serenade), Daniel Cardoza (guitar, A Fall Farewell), Darrell Schwaigger (bass), and Jerome De Leon (guitar), the band has evolved from instrumental crescendos to a sound rooted in post-rock, indie, and heavier rock-influenced textures.

Betterment Track Listing:

1. Catching Up (Listen)
2. Moving On
3. Learning
4. Doing Better
5. Taking Care

Toosii Turns Heartache Into Triumph With Soul-Stirring New Single “Even Then”

0

Platinum-selling recording artist Toosii delivers a deeply personal and emotionally charged new single titled “Even Then” via South Coast Music Group/Capitol Records. Known for his vulnerability and melodic storytelling, Toosii once again showcases his ability to turn pain into power, crafting an anthem of resilience, growth, and bittersweet goodbyes.

Toosii has been teasing “Even Then” on social media for weeks before its release, which had fans anticipating the song with a fever pitch. He recently brought his captivating performance to the heart of Music City, tearing down the stage at the River on the Rooftop free concert event in Nashville. The intimate setting allowed Toosii to perform several of his beloved songs, including the chart-topping “Favourite Song,” “Even Then,” and two unreleased tracks, much to the delight of fans.

Toosii’s last album, JADED, arrived in October 2024 and included his Billboard Hot 100 top-five hit record “Favorite Song.” Toosii’s sold-out 2023 headline tour affirmed his status as one of music’s most in-demand live acts, and he closed out the year playing arenas across the U.S. as one of the opening acts on Rod Wave’s Nostalgia Tour.

Garrett Anthony Rice Blazes Bright With Riff-Fueled Rocker “In the Sun”

0

Garrett Anthony Rice turns up the heat with “In the Sun,” a riff-heavy hard rock single that brings a fresh edge to his evolving sound. As the latest glimpse into his forthcoming double album Equinox, this track captures another dimension of Rice’s creative range: urgent, electric, and built for volume.

The main riff is tight and steady, grounded in grit and groove, with an undercurrent of motion that keeps the song in constant drive. There’s a physicality to it, like a vehicle cruising through heat haze with purpose. It’s the kind of song that feels just as good in headphones as it would reverberating through the floorboards of a live room.

Some listeners might catch shades of Queens of the Stone Age in its low-end swing and layered tones, but this isn’t a throwback. Rice shapes his sound with intention, building something that feels lived-in yet unmistakably current. Every detail from the punch of the drums to the way the guitar lines wrap around each other adds depth without distraction. It’s confident without being showy, locked-in without losing spontaneity.

“In the Sun” follows a string of standout singles from Equinox, each revealing a different facet of the project’s scope. From the emotional weight of “My Sons” to the mythic framing of “Property” and the atmospheric, gospel-tinged “Eden,” Rice continues to expand the landscape he’s building, not by shifting personas, but by leaning fully into each song’s distinct identity.

Recorded throughout 2024 across studios in Ireland and the UK, Equinox features 18 tracks carefully selected from more than 30 original demos. It marks Rice’s second full-length release, and his first under his own name, following 2023’s Reflections Part II, the Very Best of……, released under the alias (i) CONSULT. The album is already drawing quiet praise from respected corners of the industry for its ambition, honesty, and clarity of vision.

“In the Sun” makes it clear that Equinox isn’t just about ideas, it’s about execution. And it’s coming into focus, one track at a time.

SAJAA. Pours Soul and Smoke Into New Single “Martini”

0

Montreal-based Neo-Soul/R&B artist SAJAA. is redefining timeless storytelling with a fresh, modern edge, anchored by her soulful, smoky jazz voice. With lyrics that explore raw emotion and unfiltered vulnerability, Sajaa’s deep, intuitive songwriting creates a powerful sense of connection with her listeners.

Her debut EP, Blurred Minds & Perspectives, released in November 2023, made an immediate impact, amassing nearly 100,000 global streams and positioning her as an emerging voice to watch. Though still in the early chapters of her career, SAJAA. is steadily carving her own lane with each release.

Now, she returns with “Martini,” the second single from her upcoming EP, Vivid Dreams and Intuitions, set for release on September 12th, 2025.

“Martini” is a soulful reflection on the bittersweet moment of reconnecting with a past love—the flicker of flirtation, unspoken memories, and the realization it may be the last time. It’s a farewell letter to what once was, honouring the joy and heartbreak that lingers.

Fishbone Drop Explosive “Secret Police” Video Mixing Funk, Fury, and Protest Power

0

Legendary genre-defying pioneers Fishbone have dropped a powerful new video for “Secret Police,” a track from their acclaimed new album Stockholm Syndrome. The video is a visual gut-punch—unapologetically urgent, unflinchingly raw—and dares to ask the uncomfortable question: Why in present-day USA is a brown person treated differently than a white person when doing the exact same thing?

For the band, “Secret Police” is more than a protest song; it’s a wake-up call. In an era where injustice is often normalized through repetition, Fishbone’s new visual serves as an alarm meant to shake audiences out of passive consumption.

“Secret Police” is taken from Stockholm Syndrome, Fishbone’s first full-length LP in two decades—a scorching, genre-hopping masterpiece that melds funk, punk, ska, soul, and righteous fury. The band’s sonic intensity is matched only by their unyielding lyrical honesty, tackling racism, state violence, and the dark undercurrents of modern America.

Fronted by the irrepressible Angelo Moore and longtime creative force Christopher Dowd, Fishbone’s revitalized lineup includes bassist James Jones, drummer Hassan Hurd, trumpeter/vocalist John “JS” Williams II, and returning guitarist Tracey “Spacey T” Singleton. Together, they deliver a sonic explosion that’s both timely and timeless.

Indigo Blaze Ignite a Nu-Metal Revival With the Wild and Electric “PUMP IT”

0

Perth’s nu-metal titans Indigo Blaze are back with the bouncing “PUMP IT” ahead of their debut EP coming this October. With support from Wall of Sound, Aus Music Scene, AAA Backstage, and key Spotify playlists like New Nu, Adrenaline, Homegrown & Heavy and All New Metal, the band saw a 3000%+ Spotify stream surge in 2024. “PUMP IT” cements their furious fusion of Beastie Boys playfulness and Limp Bizkit aggression and is the third of four singles set to confirm this band as a rising powerhouse.

Formed in the blue collar suburbs of south-east Perth, Western Australia, Indigo Blaze have been bringing their new take on nu-metal blending early ’00s Limp Bizkit heaviness and playful ’90s Beastie Boys vocal stylings all with an Australian uniqueness.

“Pump It” sees Indigo Blaze doing what they do best, taking the golden days of nu-metal and launching it into 2025 with a style uniquely their own.
