During an exclusive SiriusXM Town Hall hosted by David Fricke, Rob Halford of Judas Priest recalls meeting Andy Warhol for the first time after their performance at Mudd Club and spending the night with the legendary artist, eventually losing him inside Studio 54.
On March 17, 2018, Underworld played Reykjavik for the first time since 1994. This film is inspired by Underworld’s track Brilliant Yes That Would Be and the Icelandic landscape. This isn’t going back to Born Slippy .NUXX, and a far more trippy, Pink Floydish sound.
Damn, I love this band.

The UK’s Attitude is Everything improves Deaf and disabled people’s access to live music by working in partnership with audiences, artists and the music industry.
Having begun as a pilot project in 2000, we are now a fully independent charity and part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio of Organisations. They encourage events producers to go beyond the legal obligations set out in the Equality Act and implement best practice, providing a fair and equal service to their Deaf and disabled customers.
Their 2018 State of Access Report examines the barriers faced by Deaf and disabled people when trying to book tickets for live music events, and sets out our vision for ticketing without barriers.
To bring this vision to life, they have convened a far reaching coalition of umbrella organisations, ticketing companies, venues and event companies, who have pledged to work together to remove barriers to ticketing: the Ticketing Without Barriers Coalition.
The coalition will enable members to exchange ideas, issues and solutions, and work towards a single, unified vision for what best practice means when it comes to facilitating access booking for Deaf and disabled people.

The Songwriters fonts have been created to give musicians inspiration. Writing lyrics with the handwriting of influential songwriters helps imagination to develop. Being in the mood of Bowie, Cobain, Cohen, Gainsbourg, Lennon, might be purely imaginative… but that’s precisely the point.
Kurt Cobain formed the band Nirvana in 1987 and introduced to the world: the grunge music genre. He drew his inspiration from punk rock, blues and heavy metal, to create his own musical universe. Part tortured, part poetic, his unique writing did affect a generation forever.

Born in Brixton, South London, David Bowie developed an interest in music as a child, eventually studying art, music and design before embarking on a professional career as a musician in 1963. “Space Oddity” became his first success in 1969. He never stopped experimenting new approaches in his music approach, writing unconventional songs which became classics.

Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and composer Rufus Wainwright will embark on a highly anticipated North American tour to commemorate the 20-year anniversary of his eponymous debut which first burst him onto the music scene. Immediately beloved and critically acclaimed, both Rufus and the record were widely hailed as a breakthrough. It influenced many artists that came after him and set the path for his illustrious career ever since.
Wainwright will hit the road with his band and perform material from both Rufus Wainwright (1998) and Poses (2001). “20 years, what can I say?” states Wainwright. “In life, one stands the test of time but in music, thankfully, one reaps the rewards. Come savor a very fine vintage of songs, those were some pretty good years!”
The tour will come on the heels of the debut of his second opera, Hadrian, set to premiere on October 13th at the Canadian Opera Company (Toronto). Hadrian was inspired by the Roman Emperor Hadrian and his love for Antinous. The opera is composed by Rufus and award-winning Canadian actor, director and playwright Daniel MacIvor.
Artist pre-sale tickets and VIP Packages begin on Wednesday, April 11th at 10am local time, and tickets available to the public will be on sale on Friday, April 13th at 10am local time.
