Other than watching over and over Jose Bautista’s bat flip, this is my favourite sports video of the year. The El Paso Chihuahuas hosted the Wiener Schnitzel weenie dog race. What could go wrong? Well, this long-haired dachshund had a blast running around a baseball field and avoiding getting caught.
Beautifully uncompromising, Patti Smith should be heard, read and seen more often. That is all.
Toronto Zoo’s female polar bear cub is now six-weeks-old and weighs 2.1 kg. Here, you can see her “trilling”, which is the sound of a very content bear.
