Watch a bunch of Irish high schools singing “Riptide” in their native language

One of the finest high-school videos I’ve seen this year, check out a bunch of Irish teenagers getting together and singing Vance Joy’s Riptide. Vance, your move to go and visit them.

Changing All I Want For Christmas From Major To Minor Key Makes It VERY Creepy

0

Through the changing of well-known songs from their original major key to minor is reprehensible, according to the purists. It’s so complex and eloquent and amusing because it’s a giant leap away from the original, removing what you think you know about the song, to something more darker and sinister.

Check out the minor key version of All I Want For Christmas, making it creepier than the lyrics of Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

Adorable Girl’s Reaction Is Priceless When She Recognizes Her Favourite Song

0

You know when you hear a cover song that’s performed a bit different? Or see Bob Dylan in concert? And it takes you a few moments to recognize the song, even if it’s your favourite? Meet Penny, who goes through the same thing when the Disneyland marching band is playing Let It Go.

Monkey Sees A Magic Trick…And Has The BEST Reaction!

Dan Zaleski wins over a monkey with a pretty neat magic trick.

Bach’s “Air on the G String” – played with actual g-strings

0

I love the internet. Bach’s “Air on the G String”‘s music of the “Air” is written down on four staves, for first violins, second violins, violas, and continuo respectively. The eerie interweaving melody lines of the high strings contrast with a pronounced rhytmic drive in the bass.

Andrew Huang performs it on a g-string. Same difference.

Dave Chapelle rappin’ about HIV and AIDS in this PSA from 1990

Before Dave Chapelle became more widely known for his sketch comedy television series, Chappelle’s Show, and called “the comic genius of America” by Esquire, he appeared in this PSA for AIDS in 1990

Ken Burns Says “Jazz” 3 Billion Times (actually 2.97 bn) in Under 3.5 Minutes

I don’t even know what to think about this. How does someone even think of this? I’m just glad this person who created it did.

Check Out This Cover Of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Don’t Stop” On A Uke And Trombone

The Young Adults are a trio of Russian women who perform with a ukulele and the trombone, two instruments you wouldn’t think would work together. But the Young Adults pull it off with this cover of “Can’t Stop” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
