In the summer of 2026, TITANIQUE sets sail on a brand new voyage, this time in Céline’s mother tongue and to her hometown.

Country Cate Has Racked Up Millions Of Streams And Views – And She’s Entirely AI

0

Imagine Loretta Lynn writing her truth today, with a little help from tomorrow. That’s the vision behind A-Country, a new genre pioneered by the YouTube channel Country Cate, where real country songwriting meets artificial vocal performance. It’s tradition—tuned for a new era.

Created by American brothers Jonathan and Josh Durey, Country Cate blends heart-wrenching, human-penned lyrics with AI-generated vocals to deliver something hauntingly familiar yet entirely new. This isn’t synthetic pop dressed up in boots. It’s A-Country—real country songs, crafted with love, powered by technology, and aimed straight at the soul.

“We didn’t set out to ‘disrupt’ country music,” says co-creator Josh Durey. “We set out to honor it—to keep storytelling alive in a world that’s changing fast. Cate is just a new way to get old truths across.”

The project was born out of frustration with the gatekeeping of the traditional Nashville songwriting world—where politics often outweigh talent, and great songs are too often left unheard. With A-Country, the Durey brothers found a new path: letting the songs speak directly to fans, bypassing the middlemen entirely.

Since launching in early 2025, Country Cate has released over 200 original songs, earned millions of impressions, and built a fanbase of nearly 8,000 subscribers in under three months—pulling in more than 25,000 daily views and multiple viral videos. For songwriters like the Dureys, it’s a dream realized: thousands of people connecting with their music every single day.

“We didn’t want to wait for permission anymore,” says Jonathan Durey. “A-Country is what happens when you believe the song deserves to be heard—even if no one in Nashville picks up the phone.”

As AI-powered music expands—with artists like Timbaland announcing “A-Pop”—Country Cate offers a different vision: that technology can serve human truth, not replace it. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of George Jones or discovering country for the first time, A-Country delivers something rare in today’s music: stories that feel like your own, voiced by someone who never had to exist to make them true.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and Goose Celebrate Music and Flavor with ‘Goose Tracks’

0

You know that feeling when your favorite band takes the stage and time stops? Everything else falls away, you’re wholly present and in the moment, engaged with what’s happening right now, connected with those around you, and you feel fully alive. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams’ latest limited-edition flavor is a celebration of that exact feeling, inspired by the beloved band, Goose.

Goose Tracks is a riff on a nostalgic classic black raspberry chip. Except Jeni’s made it bolder by swapping black raspberries for juicier, more flavorful berries, including red raspberries and blackberries, and layering in bittersweet chocolate flakes. It’s both nostalgic and new, like hearing your favorite song played live for the first time.

“On a Venn diagram comparing Jeni’s and Goose, where the circles overlap would be called Things That Bring People Together and Make People Feel Good,” said Ryan Morgan, Jeni’s Head of Brand. “Music and ice cream are two of life’s greatest connectors. A live Goose show is about the joy of the moment and sparking the type of emotional connection that only comes through shared presence in real life. A Jeni’s experience is about the same thing.”

Goose, known for their expansive live sets, genre-bending sound, and passionate fanbase, is having a major moment, embarking on a national tour, releasing new music, hosting their own festival, and headlining their first-ever show at Madison Square Garden. “This was a really fun collab,” said Cotter Ellis of Goose. “We are big fans of Jeni’s ice cream, what they stand for, and how they source their ingredients. We hope our fans enjoy Goose Tracks!”

The pint artwork for Goose Tracks was designed by illustrator Brian Blomerth, the same artist who did the cover art for Goose’s newest album, Everything Must Go. A limited-edition screen-printed poster designed by Blomerth will also be available to commemorate the release.

Starting June 24, fans can find Goose Tracks in Jeni’s scoop shops nationwide and online at jenis.com.

About Goose
Goose is an American rock band known for its genre-blending sound, improvisational live performances, and dedicated fan base. The band is Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), and Cotter Ellis (vocals, drums). Their music — a deft union of indie-rock hooks, sprawling improvisation, and driving rhythm — has propelled them from performing in Connecticut basements to headlining some of the most revered stages in the country. Known for their strong DIY ethos, Goose has grown organically through relentless touring and utilizing platforms like YouTube, Bandcamp, and nugs.net to share live performances and connect with fans.

Goose’s latest release, Everything Must Go is the first release since 2022’s critically acclaimed DripfieldEverything Must Go marks the band’s evolution since its inception in 2014. Drawing from the feel of its live performances, the album features a carnivalesque cast of characters — primarily songs written throughout the band’s recent years of growth, including re-imagined live staples and songs that capture the band’s evolving, dynamic sound.

Since their earliest days recording 2016’s Moon Cabin in a barn in northern New Hampshire, Goose has been developing their unique approach to writing and improvising, achieving a rare balance between thoughtfully crafted songs, tight musicianship, and emotional honesty. 2022 saw the release of their critically acclaimed third LP, Dripfield. That album earned them #2 on Billboard’s “Top New Artist Albums” chart as well as praise from Rolling Stone, who called it “both sweet headphone ear candy and the foundation for a perfect live peak.” The accolades were yet another feather in the band’s cap, having sold out venues like Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Forest Hills Stadium, and headlined Madison Square Garden in the summer of 2025, performed on the likes of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonJimmy Kimmel Live!CBS Saturday Morning, and played their share of iconic music fests, including Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and many more. Through their commitment to forward momentum, Goose continues to remind us that music isn’t simply played—it’s felt, lived, and shared.

Should You Start a Substack or Newsletter in 2025? A Strategic Guide

In 2025, creators, journalists, and brands face more choices than ever when it comes to reaching their audiences. Social platforms are still powerful, but they’re also increasingly fragmented, crowded, and subject to algorithmic shifts that make visibility unpredictable. In contrast, email remains one of the most reliable channels for building a loyal audience.

Within this space, two primary paths dominate: Substack and traditional email newsletters. Both approaches can help you grow your brand, monetize your content, and connect directly with readers—but they serve slightly different purposes. Choosing between them depends on your goals, resources, and the kind of relationship you want to build with your audience.

5 Reasons to Start a Substack in 2025

1. Built-In Discovery and Community

Benefit: Substack gives you access to a network of readers already seeking newsletters.
With its platform-driven discovery features—recommendations, categories, and cross-promotion—Substack helps new writers find an audience faster. Think of it like social media for newsletters, where readers are primed to subscribe.

2. Simple Monetization Tools

Benefit: Subscription payments and paywalls are integrated seamlessly.
You don’t need to set up third-party services to charge for premium content. From day one, you can experiment with free vs. paid models, offering bonus issues, archives, or exclusive podcasts. Writers like Casey Newton (Platformer) have turned this into sustainable businesses.

3. Multimedia Flexibility

Benefit: Substack has evolved beyond text into podcasts, video, and discussion threads.
In 2025, the platform supports creators who want to diversify content formats without juggling multiple tools. This is especially valuable for writers who want to add audio episodes or community discussions alongside their newsletters.

4. Credibility and Ease of Use

Benefit: Professional templates and hosting make it quick to launch.
Even if you have no technical background, Substack provides a polished, easy-to-use interface. This lowers barriers for writers, academics, and creators who want to publish without worrying about design or backend management.

5. Network Effects for Growth

Benefit: Cross-promotion within Substack creates organic growth opportunities.
If you collaborate with other writers in your niche, Substack’s recommendation system can funnel their readers to you. This network effect is difficult to replicate with standalone newsletters.

Part 2: 5 Reasons to Start a Traditional Newsletter in 2025

1. Full Ownership and Control

Benefit: With a traditional newsletter, you own your list, branding, and infrastructure.
Using platforms like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or Beehiiv, you control the subscriber database, design, and integrations. This independence means you aren’t tied to the business fortunes or policies of a single platform.

2. Customization and Branding

Benefit: Traditional newsletters allow deeper design and branding control.
From custom domains to brand colors and tailored templates, you can craft a newsletter that feels like a true extension of your brand identity. This matters for businesses or creators who want email to match their broader presence.

3. Advanced Analytics and Segmentation

Benefit: Sophisticated targeting tools enable smarter campaigns.
Platforms outside Substack often offer advanced features like A/B testing, list segmentation, and automation workflows. This makes them ideal for marketers running multi-channel campaigns or creators aiming to refine messaging for different audience segments.

4. Integration with Other Tools

Benefit: Seamless connections with CRMs, e-commerce, and marketing software.
For businesses, integration is crucial. Traditional newsletter platforms connect with Shopify, Salesforce, or analytics dashboards, allowing you to measure ROI and streamline operations. Substack remains limited in this regard.

5. Scalability and Flexibility

Benefit: Traditional tools can adapt as your audience grows and needs change.
Whether you want to run a small side project or manage a database of hundreds of thousands, traditional platforms scale more predictably. You’re free to experiment with different content strategies without platform restrictions.

Conclusion: Which Path Should You Choose?

In 2025, the choice between Substack and a traditional newsletter isn’t about one being better than the other—it’s about alignment with your goals.

  • Choose Substack if you’re an independent creator seeking fast setup, built-in discovery, and straightforward monetization. It’s perfect for writers who want to focus on publishing without dealing with complex technical systems.
  • Choose a traditional newsletter if you need long-term ownership, branding control, and integration with broader marketing strategies. This is the better route for businesses, startups, and creators looking for flexibility and scalability.

Ultimately, the smartest strategy may even combine both: using Substack for discovery and community building, while maintaining a traditional newsletter list for owned audience control. In 2025’s shifting content landscape, the key is to invest in channels that let you build authentic, lasting connections with your readers.

Noel Gallagher’s Isolated Vocals For Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back In Anger”

Released in 1996, Oasis’s “Don’t Look Back in Anger” became the band’s second UK #1 single and their first with Noel Gallagher on lead vocals. The anthemic track quickly grew into one of their defining songs, cemented by its explosive chorus. Voted among the greatest Britpop and ’90s songs, it remains a timeless fan favorite at live shows and beyond.
