Americana Singer-Songwriter Lora Kelley Announces New Single “If You Let Me” From Forthcoming Album ‘Where I Am Now’

0

Americana singer-songwriter Lora Kelley returns with “If You Let Me”, a soul-baring new single releasing October 3, as part of her upcoming record Where I Am Now. Known for her warm vocals and introspective storytelling, Kelley once again invites listeners into a deeply emotional and honest conversation – this time, about love, forgiveness, and the courage it takes to receive both.

Rooted in the rich textures of folk and Americana, “If You Let Me” echoes the intimate, earthy style of artists like Natalie Merchant, blending acoustic instrumentation with lyrical tenderness and a quiet but powerful strength. The track explores the vulnerability and resilience needed to love and be loved in return, especially in the wake of relational pain, fear, or generational patterns. “This song is a little bit about negotiating with our wounds – our capacity to love and receive love,” Kelley shares.  “Shared love is love that is felt by both parties. Where both people can impact each other to the degree that they experience being love – at the same time,” says Kelley. “If that’s not happening – then the question becomes – what’s coming between my feelings of love for you and your ability to feel that. And can we be with whatever that is so that you actually get to experience and feel what it feels like to be loved.”

Pre-Save

Penned with raw lyrical intimacy, the song opens with a direct offer: “If you let me, I will forgive you… If you let me, I will love you.” As it unfolds, the message becomes a meditation on relational repair – between partners, within families, and with the parts of ourselves that fear we are too broken to be loved fully. “To be seen and felt. That’s what this song is about.”

Produced by the same trusted team behind her previous release “Man Behind the Curtain” – Jeremy Casella (Producer), Matt Stanfield (piano), Josh Hunt (drums), Jacob Lowery (bass), Nate Duggar (guitar) and Mike Payne (guitar), with Evan Redwine (Engineer) – , “If You Let Me” continues Kelley’s evolution as a writer of emotional depth and clarity. This single is the next offering from Where I Am Now, a record that charts the internal landscape of marriage, personal growth, and the hard-won beauty of honest connection.

Whether navigating the quiet spaces of long-term commitment or the reckoning that comes with inherited emotional wounds, “If You Let Me” offers a balm: the chance to choose softness over fear, repair over retreat, and love that is actively felt – if we’re willing to let it in.

Rooted in the themes of resilience and gentle honesty, Lora’s work is deeply informed by her background in narrative-based trauma care, including her studies with the Allender Center. Her music stands as a testament to the beauty of brokenness, offering not platitudes, but presence — a hand to hold in the dark. Raised amid the liminality of faith and living today on a conserved farm in Virginia with her partner, children, and a lively menagerie of pets, Lora crafts songs that feel lived-in, earthy, and unflinchingly honest. Her upcoming album, releasing November 7, will continue to explore the emotional terrains where suffering and hope coexist — a body of work poised to resonate with those yearning for deeper connection and sacred honesty.

His music, defying cliché, truly feels like therapy, solidifying his place as one of the most unique songwriters of our time. To discover his world is a genuine gift.” New York Times uncovers what makes his music so special, saying, “Jonathan Richman still taps into the child’s-eye innocence that has guided his songs ever since he led the proto-punk Modern Lovers in the 1970s.”

The Rolling Stones Announce 40th Anniversary ‘Black and Blue’ Super Deluxe Box Set

0

Nearly five decades after its original release, The Rolling Stones are set to celebrate their groundbreaking 1976 album Black and Blue with a definitive Super Deluxe Box Set, arriving globally on November 14, 2025 from Interscope/UMe. Originally released in April, 1976 Black and Blue marked a bold new chapter for the band and now returns in a stunning, remixed and expanded package across multiple formats.Available as a 5LP vinyl box set and a 4CD box set, both editions include a Blu-ray disc, a hundred-page hardback book, and a replica tour poster. A limited edition 5LP version onexclusive black and blue marbled vinyl will also be available via select online retailers, alongside streamlined 2-disc and 1-disc formats on both vinyl and CD. Additionally, a limited edition 1LP zoetrope vinyl will also be released. Now available to pre order here.

Black and Blue is the Stones’ 13th studio album, the first following the departure of former guitarist Mick Taylor who was eventually replaced by Ronnie Wood. The recording sessions famously served as auditions with guitar greats Harvey Mandel, Wayne Perkins, Jeff Beck, and Robert A. Johnson all contributing. Ultimately, free from commitments to The Faces, it was Ronnie Wood who joinedMick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts & Bill Wyman as a bona fide Rolling Stone appearing on three tracks. Soon after Ronnie officially signed up for the band’s U.S. tour, starting his continuing tenure with the group across five decades with multiple live and studio albums and dozens of Stones groundbreaking world tours. In a brand-new interview included in the new box set, Ronnie reflects on joining the band in 1976 with these words – “Right then, this is where I’m meant to be.”

Musically, Black and Blue showcased The Rolling Stones’ adventurous spirit by infusing reggae, funk, and soul into their signature rock sound. The swaggering “Hot Stuff,” the driving “Hand of Fate,” the poignant ballad hit single “Fool to Cry,” fan favourite “Memory Motel” plus “Melody” featuring the talents of Billy Preston a heavy contributor to the whole album. Black and Blue was the second to be self-produced, credited to ‘The Glimmer Twins’ a pseudonym used by Jagger and Richards for their roles as producers. On release it went to No. 1 on the USA album chart and stayed there for four consecutive weeks gaining immediate platinum status while in the UK Black and Blue went to No. 2 in May 1976.

The Black and Blue 2025 reissue includes a six-track disc of previously unreleased recordings, including the Jagger/Richards composition “I Love Ladies,” plus a high-energy take on Shirley & Company’s “Shame, Shame, Shame” which is available to listen to now here. Also included are four amazing Stones instrumental jams from the 1975 sessions featuring the guest guitarists.

To accompany the reissue, a new music video for “Shame, Shame, Shame” will premiere on September 25th, available to watch here. Directed by acclaimed Dutch filmmaker Camille Boumans, the video is a collage of Stones history and attitude, blending rare archival photography with hand-drawn animation and modern flair. Known for her award-winning work with global brands and her distinctive blend of classic and contemporary aesthetics, Boumans brings a fresh energy to the Stones’ legacy.

In addition and a must for Stones fans is a full live concert recording from the bands celebrated six night residency at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre, where they were joined onstage by Ian Stewart, Billy Preston, and Ollie Brown – all of whom had contributed to the studio album.

The accompanying Blu-ray disc offers a previously unreleased TV broadcast of the Stones’ 1976 show at Les Abattoirs in Paris, plus Dolby Atmos surround sound mixes of both the studio album and the live Earls Court concert. All audio content is also available in high-resolution stereo. Rounding out the Super Deluxe Box Set is a 100-page hardback book featuring a brand new essay by recognized Stones expertPaul Sexton, exclusive photographs from the album sessions and tour, and a replica poster from the 1976 Paris concert.

Originally released on February 25, 1985, Songs From The Big Chair became a global sensation, topping the US charts and spawning five hit singles with “Mothers Talk,” “Shout,” “Everybody Wants To Rule The World,” “Head Over Heels,” and “I Believe.” The album captured a perfect intersection of pop accessibility, sharp lyricism, guitar power, and new-wave innovation.

To mark its Ruby Anniversary, UMe will unveil a range of special editions, including a limited edition 2 LP Transparent Red vinyl featuring the original unused artwork and tracks previously unavailable on vinyl, a 3 CD deluxe set, a limited edition single LP Coke Bottle Clear vinyl, and a limited single LP picture disc.

The album’s influence cannot be underestimated and continues to resonate with new audiences. “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” has been covered by Lorde for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and featured in Guardians of the Galaxy (as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind ride at Walt Disney World), Despicable Me 4, and The Lego Batman Movie, among many others.

Formed in Bath in 1981, Tears For Fears, featuring Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. In 2021, they were honored with the Outstanding Song Collection Award at the Ivor Novello Awards. Today, the band continues to perform to sold-out audiences around the globe, including their Las Vegas residency.

Neil Forever vs Parkinsons – Charity Performance at The Greek

Beloved Neil Diamond tribute ensemble NEIL FOREVER will bring their passion, precision, and powerhouse 14-piece lineup to stages across the nation in 2026 with their LOVE AT THE GREEK tour, honoring one of the most iconic live albums ever recorded. The tour will culminate on April 25, 2026 at Los Angeles’ legendary Greek Theatre – the very venue where Neil Diamond’s landmark 1976 Love at the Greek concert was captured – in a special benefit performance supporting Drive Toward a Cure, a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit dedicated to Parkinson’s disease research and patient care. Buy tickets here.

For NEIL FOREVER founder and lead vocalist David Jacobson, the cause is deeply personal: his father passed away from Parkinson’s disease, inspiring Jacobson to dedicate his time, energy, and resources toward finding a cure. The mission also resonates with Neil Diamond’s own story – the music legend was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2018, a revelation that raised global awareness of the disease and helped normalize the conversation around it. That journey is now part of the hit Broadway musical A Beautiful Noise, which chronicles Diamond’s life and career.

“Performing these songs that mean so much to so many, while raising money and awareness for Parkinson’s, makes every note that much more meaningful,” says Jacobson. “This is more than a tour – it’s a mission of love, music, and hope.”

Since their debut in January 2023, NEIL FOREVER has captured the hearts of audiences nationwide with performances so authentic and full of heart that fans often say they feel transported back to the magic of a Neil Diamond concert. With a lineup including David Jacobson (lead vocals/guitar), John Cardoso (drums), Dylan Jacobson (guitar/keyboard/music director), Anthony Raffa (keyboard), Ted Wyman (bass), Glen Gabberty (electric guitar), Eric Ziegelmeier (percussion), Jeanna Campo (lead vocals), Kayla Manzella (vocals), Chris Scarnato (baritone sax/horn section director), Glenn Gifford (trumpet), Andrew Pereira (tenor sax), and David Joseph (trombone), the group delivers timeless hits like Sweet Caroline, Forever in Blue Jeans, America, Love on the Rocks, and many more with the energy, spirit, and artistry that made Neil Diamond a legend.

The LOVE AT THE GREEK tour and LA show pays homage to Diamond’s unforgettable 1977 Greek Theatre performance – a concert immortalized in both a double live album and Emmy-nominated NBC television special. For NEIL FOREVER, recreating the magic of that moment is both a celebration of music history and a heartfelt tribute to the enduring emotional connection between artist and audience.

A portion of every ticket sold on the LOVE AT THE GREEK tour will benefit DRIVE TOWARD A CURE ®with dollars directly supporting the foundation’s ‘Special Assistance,’ ‘Access to Care,’ and ‘Family Fund’ grant programs that benefit both caregivers and those living with Parkinson’s.  Since 2016, Drive Toward a Cure has raised more than $1.2 million to support research, patient care and directed programs that improve the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s disease, as well as provide financial support to clinics and regional Parkinson Centers of Excellence within areas where individual events are held.

“David and I first connected through the Porsche community, but it’s the shared journey of losing a parent to Parkinson’s that truly bonded us,” said Deb Pollack, founder of Drive Toward a Cure. “With Neil Diamond’s own Parkinson’s story adding meaning to this tour, seeing David use his music to touch lives far beyond the stage is incredibly inspiring — it’s a heartfelt way to honor those we’ve lost, uplift those living with Parkinson’s, and fuel the drive toward a cure.”

The Greek Theatre benefit performance takes place April 25, 2026. Tickets for the benefit show will be available for pre-order on October 6, 2025 and general sale November 3, 2025.
