Blackbriar Release New Single “Harpy” from New Album ‘A Thousand Little Deaths’

Macabre raconteurs Blackbriar are proud to release their latest single, the soaring ‘Harpy‘. The track weaves a tale about the mythological being, the Harpy – the spirit of the wind and storms, a chilling creature who was known to abduct people, particularly those cursed by the gods.

A video will be following in the coming days. Vocalist Zora Cock comments, “In this song, I call upon a Harpy to please carry me away after I’ve died a thousand little deaths. I lure it with my carrion heart, after all, Harpies are known as human vultures. If not, I fear I might be stuck in the same place, slowly left eroding. I need to die one last time to be laid to rest finally. This song, Harpy, inspired the album title.”

Dirty Pagans Unleash New Single “Killer in the Night” from Upcoming Album ‘Forever High’

Rattling venues and ruffling leathers since 2016, Adelaide’s DIRTY PAGANS have been on a fearless mission to smear their gritty, thick, hard rock energy across every stage they storm. Now they unleash ‘Killer in the Night’, a dark, brooding track exploring repression, identity, and violence—told through the story of a knife murder in a subway. With a heavier, sinister edge, it marks a bold shift for the band.  This marks the second track to be released from their new album ‘Forever High’. It’s a full-throttle dose of huge riffs, dirty grooves, and unapologetic volume.

Self-dubbed riff ’n’ roll, Dirty Pagans deliver thunderous grooves, razor-sharp guitars, soaring vocals, and a rhythm section that hits like a sledgehammer. Fresh from a national tour support slot with Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple fame, the band is charging forward at full force. With the addition of powerhouse drummer Gareth Briggs, their live energy has never been more explosive.

Vocalist Matty Dee comments: “We’re very happy to be dropping our second slice of Riff ‘N’ Roll, ‘Killer in the Night’! We’ve had a lot of great feedback from the first dingle ‘Forever High’ and looking forward to everyone wrapping their ears around the whole album soon. For now, sit back, turn it to 10 and enjoy Killer in the Night!”
