 Riding off the huge success of his worldwide hit “Crème Brulée” HERE (& the remix HERE) and follow-up single, “Can I Call You” HERE, David Archuleta is ready to share more from his first collection of new music in over five years with his Earthly Delights EP due August 15. 

On Earthly Delights David explores the pleasures and pain of terrestrial life: the sweet indulgences of connection and heartbreak, sensuality and physicality. Innocent at the core, but now balanced and rounded by newfound flirtiness and sass, boldness and humor— he’s an embodied being of the earth, here to take in the full spectrum of what life has to offer, with courage, playfulness, and a beaming inner light.  David shares – “I’m in my indulgence mode when it comes to giving into my sensuality. Something I always villainized before. There’s something sweet about being naughty. And it’s actually helped me to get in touch with more tender vulnerable parts of myself. So Earthly Delights is taking in the pleasures of what I always thought would keep me out of heaven. For the belief I always had of the hell and unhappiness I would experience for giving into my “carnal nature” of sexuality, which is the natural instinct of humans and even what leads to the source of life itself, here’s to a big F you to my old fears and embracing the sensual side and “earthly delights” of how good and rich it feels. Henry Crater Returns With New EP ‘impermanent’ Blending Theater Drama, Jazz, and Modern Pop

New York-based singer-songwriter, and actor, Henry Crater is back with impermanent, his first music release since 2023. The five-song EP feels big and polished but stays personal at the same time, walking listeners through the highs and lows of a breakup.

Crater says, “Songwriting has always been an irreplaceable part of my identity. I’ve always been a very sensitive and emotional person, and I wrote songs to cope with the difficult emotions I felt in high school and college.”

The EP opens with the title track. It’s a short 61-second piano driven intro where Crater sings about learning to “let go.” From there, the songs trace the stages of moving on. “despondent” faces the first shock of a love that’s ended. “dry eyes” jumps out with funky horns and an upbeat groove, showing off Crater’s lighter side. “still” slows things down, capturing the ache of missing someone. The closer, “every breath i take,” ends the ride on a warm, sentimental note. Its music video, filmed in New York City by director Jared Zuker, adds extra layers of emotion to the goodbye and gives depth to the story behind the song.

Crater’s music mixes theater drama with modern pop and jazz, drawing on influences like Jacob Collier and Jason Robert Brown. He fronts the NYC band Cereal Monogamy and writes musicals, including Einstein of Love, but here he focuses on a simple idea: everything changes.

The EP brings together 14 friends and collaborators, many from Crater’s University of Michigan days. Guest singers Owen G. Scales, Kate Cummings, and Ian Coursey each add their own style, while Crater handles the keys. Producer Thomas Giberson and orchestrator Anna Elaine Rosengart help give the record its rich, full sound.

Alkaline Trio’s latest single, “Bleeding Out,” opens with an intriguing and foreboding invitation. The song is a prime example of the band’s unique and potent style, seamlessly blending a deceptively sweet melody with dark, brooding lyricism. Propelled by a powerful, driving rhythm, the track repeatedly soars into an infectious, sing-along chorus that is engineered to be an earworm.

“Bleeding Out” follows the recently released banger “Oblivion” as the second of three songs Alkaline Trio recorded with producer Travis Barker of Blink 182 — the first studio sessions to feature the current Trio lineup of founding guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba, longtime bassist/vocalist Dan Andriano, and drummer Atom Willard.

Available now across digital platforms, “Bleeding Out” will also be released as a limited edition D2C exclusive color vinyl seven-inch. Also unveiled is the official “Bleeding Out” music video, which finds director Mark Eaton capturing the raw power of a close-quarters Alkaline Trio performance.
