Arily Michele Shines With Dreamy New Single “Komorebi”

0

Nashville-based, but originally from the Colorado Rocky Mountains, singer-songwriter Arily Michele just released her first song of the year, “Komorebi”. The song is the first taste of what’s to come on her upcoming album. Known for blending soulful vocals with dreamy synth soundscapes, Arily delivers a song that feels like floating in warm sunlight.

“Komorebi” takes its name from a Japanese word that describes sunlight shining through tree leaves. Arily says she’s always loved the idea and wanted to capture it in music, and with this song, she did just that.

The lyrics paint a picture of a Rocky Mountain sunset—golden light fading over places like Fairplay, Leadville, and Mount Elbert. It’s about slowing down, holding onto perfect moments, and finding beauty in the middle of life’s chaos. Lyrics like “The arrow of time is sluggish and heavy, but it still marches onwards” remind you that time moves on, even when you want it to stop.

At its core, the song is a love letter to nature, connection, and living in the moment. The repeated line “Stay wild, choose love, forever isn’t long enough” feels like both a personal mantra and an invitation to listeners.

With “Komorebi”, Arily Michele gives us three minutes of calm in a busy world.

Lord Vinheteiro Becomes Darth Vader to Perform ‘Imperial March’ on Rubber Chickens

Picture this: Darth Vader strolls in, not with a lightsaber, but with a table full of squeaky rubber chickens. Each squawk delivers John Williams’ epic theme with poultry-powered precision. The Force? More like The Fowl-ce.

Andrea Bocelli Leads Historic ‘Grace for the World’ Concert at St. Peter’s Square

0

On Saturday 13th September Andrea Bocelli co-directed and performed at the ‘Grace for the World’ free concert: a celebration of music and human connection. Presented from the heart of Vatican City, and streamed live (on Disney+, Hulu and ABC News) the concert made history as the first musical event of its kind to be staged St. Peter’s Square.

The world-renowned tenor performed his hit track with KAROL G‘Vivo Por Ella’, for the first time together, as well as a rousing rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ with Teddy Swims.

Andrea Bocelli also announces his forthcoming single, a brand new version of ‘The Blessing’ recorded with Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, to be released later this year on Decca / Capitol Christian Music Group.

In an unprecedented gathering of voices and vision, the one-off ‘Grace for the World’ performance united gospel, soul, hip-hop, pop, and classical, and closed the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity, celebrating the 2025 Jubilee Year.

The concert also featured musical performances from such worldclass talent as Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Clipse, Jelly Roll, BamBam, and Angélique Kidjo, each bringing a unique musical perspective that supports the event’s theme of unity. Additional international choristers joined, making the concert a truly global collaboration.

Maestro Andrea Bocelli said of the landmark cultural and spiritual event: “As an artist, I have always believed that music is not just entertainment, but above all a universal language: a bridge capable of uniting cultures, peoples, and hearts. It is a great honour and an equally great joy to lend my voice on the occasion of the World Meeting on Human Fraternity, in the hopeful belief that this initiative may instill in everyone’s hearts that sense of fraternity and humanity which is so deeply needed.”

Beyond the music, the evening showcased reflections from cultural, diplomatic, and sports leaders, plus an aerial drone and light show by Nova Sky Stories inspired by the Sistine Chapel’s artistry.

Created as a moment of global unity, streaming platforms brought together audiences from around the globe to enjoy a singular live experience like no other.

This follows a moving performance by Bocelli and his son Matteo for Pope Leo XIV a few days ahead of the ‘Grace for the World’ concert, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Laudato Si’ Village in Castel Gandolfo

Frank Turner Announces ‘The Next Ten Years’ Triple Vinyl Set for November 2025

0

Frank Turner has never been one to stand stilland now he’s looking back on a decade of relentless creativity with the announcement of The Next Ten Years Triple Vinyl Set on 7 November, 2025. Serving as the sequel to the much coveted The First Ten Years Box Set, which was released in 2015, the collection will dive deep into Frank’s vault, showcasing rare and bonus material curated by Frank himself, spanning the studio albums of 2015 to 2024 in a 3LP release. Fans will uncover everything from B-sides and live sessions from the eras of Positive Songs For Negative PeopleBe More KindNo Man’s Land, and FTHC; as well as a collection of covers, radio sessions, acoustic versions and artist collaboration tracks; some previously not officially released, and many of which are here on vinyl for the first time.

The 3LP clear vinyl discs will be housed in a unique gatefold with a hinged middle sleeve, featuring die-cut panels and embossed titling on the cover. The printed inner sleeves showcase collages made from hundreds of unseen photos and tour passes, which creates slightly different varieties of the cover image through the die-cut panels, depending which inner sleeve side is placed in the first pocket. Side B of LP3 contains a reverse etching visible through the clear disc. Each sleeve will be individually inkjet numbered up to 4000, making this a true collectible. Full details on the tracklisting below.

Speaking about the release, Frank shares: “It’s been a decade since I last gathered all my non studio album music together for a proper release. Outside of my frontline albums, there’s so much more music, and I want it to be easy for everyone to find. B-sides, covers, sessions, alternative versions – it’s lovely to have it all in one place”.

To mark the announcement, Frank is sharing a cover of Janis Ian’s ‘Better Times Will Come’’. On how the cover came about, Frank shares: “A few years back, the legendary Janis Ian hit me up out of the blue. Seeing her name in my inbox was mind-blowing – I’m a big fan – and the message kept up the crazy – she asked me to cover one of her songs, alongside a host of other artists, to explore song interpretation, as well as to spread the timely message of “Better Times”. I gave it my best shot and was pretty pleased with the result – as was Janis. It’s lovely to have this song on vinyl and to be giving it (and its words) a wider audience.” Listen to ‘Better Times Will Come’’ HERE.

The announcement arrives during yet another high-stamina year for Frank. Following his landmark sold-out 3000th show at London’s Alexandra Palace in February this year, the punk-rock road-warrior has continued his trademark marathon touring schedule. After a busy summer tearing through UK and European festivals, Frank is heading back out on the road once more joining longtime friends Dropkick Murphys for a major European arena tour in October and November. To close out 2025, Frank is reuniting with his old band Million Dead for a UK tour in December, with the London Electric Ballroom already sold out. Full details on Frank’s live dates are detailed on his website here.

Propaganda Celebrate 40 Years of ‘A Secret Wish’ With Deluxe Box Set ‘A Secret Sense of Rhythm : A Secret Sense of Sin’

0

German synth-pop visionaries Propaganda emerged from Düsseldorf in 1982, soon capturing the imagination of musical tastemakers with their provocative, art-driven sound described at the time as ‘Abba from Hell’. Propaganda was the first band to formally sign to Trevor Horn’s pioneering ZTT label in June 1983, and they released their debut single, ‘Dr. Mabuse’, in February of the following year. The brooding, cinematic track, produced by Horn and perhaps best experienced in all its 10-minute ‘Das Testament Des Mabuse’ glory, as a perfect example of the art of the 12” version.

The full-length debut, ‘A Secret Wish’, arrived in the Summer of 1985. Written primarily by Ralf Dörper, Michael Mertens, Claudia Brücken & Andreas Thein, and produced by Stephen Lipson, it featured the distinctive vocals of both Brücken and Susanne Freytag, along with cameos from David Sylvian, Stewart Copeland, Steve Howe, Glenn Gregory, and the legendary Post-Punk guitarist, the late John McGeoch.

‘A Secret Wish’ was both a critical triumph and a commercial success, reaching the top 20 on the UK Albums Chart and spawned two further iconic singles, ‘Duel’ and ‘p:Machinery’, the latter becoming a major hit in Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, as well as the ‘should have been a single ‘Murder Of Love’ and a cover of ‘Sorry For Laughing’ by the lo-fi Scottish Postcard Records band, Josef K.

That same year, the band embarked on their Outside World tour, performing across Europe and North America, with former Simple Minds bassist Derek Forbes and drummers Steve Jansen (ex-Japan) and Brian McGee (also ex-Simple Minds).

In November 1985, ‘Wishful Thinking’, a reimagining of ‘A Secret Wish’, crafted for the U.S. club market, was issued a promo only, but was quickly adopted by European fans and is regarded as a classic example of the remix album genre.

Now, for the first time, this deluxe collector’s edition box set, curated by ZTT archivist and historian Ian Peel, presents a definitive archive of Propaganda’s groundbreaking work. Along with the 6CD set, there are also two exclusive companion formats: a limited 1-LP vinyl edition remixed by David Kosten, known for his work with Faultline, Everything Everything, Bat For Lashes, Steven Wilson, and Mike Oldfield.

A SECRET SENSE OF RHYTHM : A SECRET SENSE OF SIN is a time capsule, a curated archive, and a celebration of one of the most ambitious,  artful and best-regarded pop albums of the 1980s. It also serves as the most definitive record of the time Propaganda spent with the Zang Tuum Tumb record label, from 1983 to 1985.

CD 1 Secret – An encyclopaedic edition of the debut Propaganda album, A Secret Wish. All the tracks from both the original 1985 Analogue Sequence and the later Digital Variation. All remastered for its 40th anniversary at Abbey Road Studios.

CD 2 Stahlnetz – An extended edition of the remix album Wishful Thinking. If A Secret Wish was ‘ABBA in heaven’, then STAHLNETZ is ‘ABBA in hell’, its darker dance-floor counterpart, created ‘for the footsteps and heartbeats of the connoisseur’.

CD 3 Singlette – Propaganda’s three specially-edited EPs – originally released only on cassette – all with unique versions, mixes and sequences: Do Well, Complete Machinery and the initial intended sequence for (The Nine Lives of) Dr. Mabuse.

CD 4 Series – Propaganda’s contributions to Zang Tuum Tumb’s Action, Incidental and Fatal series. Featuring some of the biggest, boldest 12″ remixes in the history of electronic pop, connected by the Testament series of interludes and edits.

CD 5 Studio – A behind-the-scenes listen into Propaganda at work in Sarm Studios across 1984 and 1985. The construction of the album, including the singles and remixes, is a raw, illuminating work-in-progress juxtaposed with beautiful alternate takes.

CD 6 (Some Kind Of) Single – The final Propaganda single of the Zang Tuum Tumb era: a previously unreleased version of Dr. Mabuse from John Hughes’ 1987 film Some Kind of Wonderful, alongside mixes created especially for TV and video.

Frank Sinatra’s ‘In The Wee Small Hours’ Returns as 70th Anniversary Tone Poet Vinyl Reissue

0

Frank Sinatra’s seminal 1955 Capitol Records album In The Wee Small Hours will be reissued in Blue Note’s acclaimed Tone Poet Audiophile Vinyl Series on November 14 marking the album’s 70th anniversary. Produced for release by Joe Harley, the new Tone Poet Vinyl Edition was mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at Record Technology Inc. (RTI), and comes packaged in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket featuring session photos by William Claxton and Ken Veeder, as well as an essay by Rita Kirwan.

In The Wee Small Hours is a melancholy masterpiece of lost love and heartbreak that was a pivotal album in the legendary vocalist’s career. Produced by Voyle Gilmore, the album embodied Sinatra’s artistic growth into a more mature singing style with stunning renditions of Great American Songbook standards given sublime arrangements by Nelson Riddle, creating one of the first-ever concept albums.

Sinatra conceived of In The Wee Small Hours as a full-length album, rather than a collection of singles, and it would become one of the first pop albums to be released on 12-inch LP. The album was met with immediate critical and commercial success, reaching #2 on the Billboard charts and bolstering Sinatra’s career resurgence following his signing to Capitol Records in 1953 and his Academy Award win for his role in the film From Here to Eternity.

Airbourne Roar Back With First New Song in Six Years, “GUTSY”

0

Airbourne are back with “GUTSY,” their first new song in six years. Bristling with attitude and intent, this is AIRBOURNE on steroids – fired up and pissed off, ready to take on the world. “Get ‘GUTSY,’ I die hard, you can’t stop me once I start…”

For frontman and lead guitarist Joel O’Keeffe, his brother Ryan on drums, longtime bassist Justin Street, and recent recruit Brett Tyrrell on rhythm guitar, “GUTSY” powerfully underlines everything they stand for, a blood-and-sweat commitment to the rock ‘n’ roll cause, and a burning desire to honor the true heroes of the genre. More than just a title, “GUTSY” is a declaration. A worldview. A line drawn deep in the sand… “It’s how you live, it’s how you die…”

Frontman/Lead Guitarist Joel O’Keeffe shares: “When the odds are stacked against you and the battle you’re fighting seems impossible to win; when the vultures are circling and the last chance saloon has firmly bolted its doors; when your plane is hitting the runway on a single engine, and that engine is on fire; and when the things you hold as precious, the things that define you, are being tested at every turn, then the choices available become a lot clearer: fold or fight… call for help or cry for glory… give in or Get ‘GUTSY’!”

Produced by Brian Howes, who also worked with the band on 2013’s ‘Black Dog Barking,’ engineered by Canadian studio legend Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Rush, Metallica), and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Dayseeker, BMTH, Architects, Machine Gun Kelly), “GUTSY” marks the first new music from the Australian outfit since 2019’s ‘Boneshaker.’

From the first ringing guitar chord (and it’s no coincidence it sounds like a bell!), “GUTSY” makes zero apologies for being big, bold, and bombastic. It’s a layered, fully cranked take on signature AIRBOURNE sonics, and packs enough low-end punch to work as a defibrillator in moments of crisis.

For Joel and Ryan, voracious students of hard rock, the mythology, the sacred rites, “GUTSY” stands tall, shoulders back and chest out. It’s a potent call to arms. A rallying cry for fans and band alike.

“We went into this writing and recording session with a clear idea of what we wanted to achieve,” concludes Joel. “It was a question of legacy. Let’s create something that can stand the test of time, both in terms of our own story and the hard rock world in general. Let’s plant our flag as close to the summit as p

Rick Wakeman & Son Announce First-Ever US Tour Together in 2026

0

RICK WAKEMAN CBE is pleased to announce his rescheduled US tour dates for 2026. Following the postponement of his July 2025 concerts with vocalist Hayley Sanderson due to Rick’s impending surgery, existing commitments mean that sadly, Hayley is no longer available to join him on the road, but instead, he will be touring for the first time ever with his son, Oliver. Although they have occasionally performed together in the past, this will be the first opportunity to see the pair in their brand new WAKEMAN & SON show.

Both former keyboard players with YES and the Strawbs, as well as being highly successful, award-winning musicians in their own right, WAKEMAN & SON will be performing music which ranges from their joint musical heritage to their latest recordings.

Already one of the most in-demand session players of his generation before joining YES, after leaving the band, Rick became renowned for his prog rock extravaganzas, such as Journey To The Centre Of The Earth and The Myths And Legends Of King Arthur And The Knights Of The Round Table, as well his numerous tours with both his band, the English Rock Ensemble, and as a solo pianist.

Oliver’s solo career encompasses several critically acclaimed solo albums, collaborations with highly regarded musicians like Clive Nolan (Pendragon/Arena), Steve Howe (YES/Asia) and Gordon Giltrap, a series of poetry CD’s which featured Shakespearean actor Derek Jacobi, and a variety of art and music projects with fantasy artist Rodney Matthews.

While father and son have performed on the same stage in the past – most notably, at a performance of The Myths And Legends of King Arthur… at London’s O2 Arena, they have never toured together before.

“It’s always an honour for me to share the stage with one of my wonderful children,” says Rick, “and for the first time, it’s a thrill to be actually doing a tour with my eldest son Oliver. I know it will be very special – especially if, on the odd occasion, he buys me dinner!!”

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see two legendary keyboard players in concert together!

Hairball’s high-octane performances are complemented with lights, smoke, fire, and pyrotechnics. It’s not just a concert, it’s a full-throttle rock & roll experience you won’t forget.

Comedy fans, mark your calendars for February 5 as Grammy-nominated comedian Bill Engvall takes the stage as part of his Here’s Your Sign – It Wasn’t My Time tour. Known for his signature “Here’s Your Sign” catchphrase and relatable humour, Engvall brings decades of stand-up success, hit albums, and TV appearances such as Blue Collar TV, The Bill Engvall Show and Funny You Should Ask. Don’t miss this chance to see one of America’s most beloved comedians live in Niagara Falls.

On February 27, progressive metal icons Queensrÿche take over for a night of powerful vocals, heavy riffs and hits. With over 20 million albums sold worldwide and classics like “Silent Lucidity” and “Jet City Woman”, Queensrÿche continues to captivate audiences with their signature live performances. Joining them as special guests are hard rock legends Quiet Riot, bringing their chart-topping anthems and high-energy stage presence to round out an electrifying night of rock. Fueled by iconic hits like “Cum on Feel The Noize” and “Bang Your Head (Metal Health),” the band became a driving force behind the unmistakable sound of 80s rock.

Two of R&B’s most legendary voices come together for one unforgettable evening on February 28. Grammy-nominated Jeffrey Osborne, known for timeless hits like “On the Wings of Love” and “Love Ballad”, joins forces with the Prince of Sophisticated Soul, Will Downing, whose smooth classics like “I Try” and “A Million Ways” have mesmerized international audiences. Together, they promise an evening filled with soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and classic love songs that will stir your soul and leave lasting memories.

Take a musical journey through the 60s on March 7 with the My Generation Tour. Featuring iconic hits from The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Hollies, and Gary Lewis & The Playboys, this one-night-only event brings together three legendary acts for a celebration of the songs that defined a generation. From “Do You Believe in Magic” to “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother” and “This Diamond Ring,” it’s a fantastic tribute to the golden era of pop and rock.
