Sugar Announce Full Reunion And ‘Love You Even Still’ 2026 World Tour

0

90s-era band Sugar have announced a full reunion tour spanning the UK, Europe, and North America. The Love You Even Still 2026 World Tour follows previously announced and now sold-out shows at Webster Hall in New York and O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. The spring leg covers the UK and Europe, with the North American run scheduled for late summer and fall. Most fall dates feature support from J Robbins of Jawbox.

The tour news arrives alongside Sugar’s first new music in 30 years. “House of Dead Memories” is set for release as a 7-inch single on May 1, backed with “Long Live Love.” Bob Mould says, “I wrote ‘Long Live Love’ in 2007 while living in Washington DC. It was the George W. Bush era, I was deep in my DJ world with Blowoff, yet still writing pop songs on guitars.” The new material sits comfortably alongside Sugar’s catalog, reconnecting the band’s melodic directness with its sharp emotional edge.

0

Thursday have announced the Full City Devolución tour, celebrating three album milestones in 2026: 25 years of ‘Full Collapse’, 20 years of ‘A City By the Light Divided’, and 15 years of ‘No Devolución’. The band describe the run as a three-act evening and a one-night-only experience in each city. “There was no way that we couldn’t celebrate these occasions without something very special,” they shared. “We wanted to challenge ourselves and do something that we have never done before by actually having Thursday open up for Thursday.”

Each night opens with a set drawn from ‘A City By the Light Divided’ and ‘No Devolución’, followed by a solo performance from Chris Conley of Saves The Day, before Thursday return to close with selections from ‘Full Collapse’ and additional career-spanning songs. “The show will comprise of three acts,” the band explained, adding that these are “true one night only events.” The structure foregrounds material that is less frequently played live, offering a focused look at the band’s evolution across eras while keeping the intensity intact.

Francis Dunnery Recounts His Genesis Audition Inside The Farm Studio

0

In a new episode of his Studio Memoirs series, Francis Dunnery shares the story of auditioning to become the lead singer of Genesis following the departure of Phil Collins. Dunnery reflects on growing up with Genesis as a source of comfort before later driving to The Farm Studio, the band’s longtime creative home, to step into a moment that brought his personal history full circle.

The video recounts time spent with Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford during the Calling All Stations era, and explores the emotional weight of auditioning for lifelong heroes. Dunnery speaks plainly about the experience, framing it as a collision of past devotion and present opportunity. The story unfolds with the kind of clarity and restraint that gives the memory its power, letting the music and the moment speak without embellishment.

Omnium Gatherum Unleash “Moongold” As European Tour Ignites

0

Finnish melodic death metal force Omnium Gatherum have released a surprise new single, “Moongold,” from the sessions for their acclaimed album ‘May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way’. The track was originally a Japan-exclusive around the album’s release and now returns as a standalone melodic death metal anthem.

Vocalist Jukka Pelkonen says “Moongold follows the overall style of the album. It’s fast and full of energy, and while the song is somewhat stripped down, its layers start to reveal themselves after a few listens.” Guitarist Markus Vanhala describes it as pure OG and perhaps a slightly more old-school version of the band’s sound. Omnium Gatherum kick off their European headline tour on February 11 with Fallujah and In Mourning, bringing “Moongold” straight to the stage.

Drew Taylor Turns “You and I Tonight” Into A Valentine Country Duet

0

Canadian-born, Nashville-bred rising country star Drew Taylor is gearing up for Valentine’s Day with his rendition of  acclaimed pop-punk band Faber Drive’s “You and I Tonight.” Arriving February 13, 2026, the track features a duet with original songwriter Dave Faber. The accompanying music video stars Taylor and his wife, bringing authentic relationship dynamics to the screen.  Taylor imparts, “‘You and I Tonight’ is a reimagining of the beloved Canadian radio favorite, transformed into a warm, modern country song. It tells the story of two people choosing to freeze time for one perfect night together, where love feels bigger than fear, doubt, or tomorrow.”

Having recently signed to independent record label T&L Records Nashville – and with a string of chart-topping hits and streaming success already to his name, including his recent single “MAKERS”: – the artist-to-watch has been paving his road to stardom one song at a time.

Born in Waterloo, Ontario, Drew’s foray into music was anything but conventional, as a kid in Canada with dreams of The Music City. The foundation was there; his father was a musician who played alongside Country legends like George Strait and Kenny Rogers. Meanwhile, back home, he was fronting a Screamo band, sharing bills with the likes of Underoath and Atreyu. Eventually doubling duties as a fireman and entrepreneur, his love of music came back around to where he could no longer make it a side hustle. He was going to make it as a singer/songwriter, one way or another.

Over the years, the Nashville riser has stacked consistent wins. In 2022, he was the Wildcard Winner for the  Boots & Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase that year (presented by Coors Original Canada and Universal Music Canada), performing on the Front Porch stage. A year later, his single “Wish I Didn’t” hit #1 on Sirius XM’s Top of the Country. At the top of 2025, his single “Nobody I Know” reached an indie fever pitch, cracking over 250,000 streams on Spotify alone.

Other tracks like “Music To My Beers” and his latest “Get The Truck Outta Here, continue a steady climb, fueled by Drew’s knack for clever lyrics amidst modern Country production–the former added to the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, where much of his music has found a home. He’s shared stages with the likes of Tanya Tucker, Kane Brown, Paul Brandt, and most recently touring with Cory Marks. The stage is now set for Drew Taylor to become a headlining name in the new era of Country music.

With over a decade of artistry, the north-of-the-border songsmith has connected deeply with fans who see their lives mirrored in his lyrics. However, it’s never really been about chasing the awards or even the industry politics. It’s about resonating with the people who are listening. “If a song touches somebody, then I’ve done my job,” he explains. That mission drives every chord that he plays.

Drew Taylor proves he’s more than just a rising star; he’s a reminder that Country music’s future is being built by those willing to honor its incredible past while seamlessly bending its edges.
