Picture this: Darth Vader strolls in, not with a lightsaber, but with a table full of squeaky rubber chickens. Each squawk delivers John Williams’ epic theme with poultry-powered precision. The Force? More like The Fowl-ce.
Frank Turner Announces ‘The Next Ten Years’ Triple Vinyl Set for November 2025
Frank Turner has never been one to stand still, and now he’s looking back on a decade of relentless creativity with the announcement of The Next Ten Years Triple Vinyl Set on 7 November, 2025. Serving as the sequel to the much coveted The First Ten Years Box Set, which was released in 2015, the collection will dive deep into Frank’s vault, showcasing rare and bonus material curated by Frank himself, spanning the studio albums of 2015 to 2024 in a 3LP release. Fans will uncover everything from B-sides and live sessions from the eras of Positive Songs For Negative People, Be More Kind, No Man’s Land, and FTHC; as well as a collection of covers, radio sessions, acoustic versions and artist collaboration tracks; some previously not officially released, and many of which are here on vinyl for the first time.
The 3LP clear vinyl discs will be housed in a unique gatefold with a hinged middle sleeve, featuring die-cut panels and embossed titling on the cover. The printed inner sleeves showcase collages made from hundreds of unseen photos and tour passes, which creates slightly different varieties of the cover image through the die-cut panels, depending which inner sleeve side is placed in the first pocket. Side B of LP3 contains a reverse etching visible through the clear disc. Each sleeve will be individually inkjet numbered up to 4000, making this a true collectible. Full details on the tracklisting below.
Speaking about the release, Frank shares: “It’s been a decade since I last gathered all my non studio album music together for a proper release. Outside of my frontline albums, there’s so much more music, and I want it to be easy for everyone to find. B-sides, covers, sessions, alternative versions – it’s lovely to have it all in one place”.
To mark the announcement, Frank is sharing a cover of Janis Ian’s ‘Better Times Will Come’’. On how the cover came about, Frank shares: “A few years back, the legendary Janis Ian hit me up out of the blue. Seeing her name in my inbox was mind-blowing – I’m a big fan – and the message kept up the crazy – she asked me to cover one of her songs, alongside a host of other artists, to explore song interpretation, as well as to spread the timely message of “Better Times”. I gave it my best shot and was pretty pleased with the result – as was Janis. It’s lovely to have this song on vinyl and to be giving it (and its words) a wider audience.” Listen to ‘Better Times Will Come’’ HERE.
The announcement arrives during yet another high-stamina year for Frank. Following his landmark sold-out 3000th show at London’s Alexandra Palace in February this year, the punk-rock road-warrior has continued his trademark marathon touring schedule. After a busy summer tearing through UK and European festivals, Frank is heading back out on the road once more joining longtime friends Dropkick Murphys for a major European arena tour in October and November. To close out 2025, Frank is reuniting with his old band Million Dead for a UK tour in December, with the London Electric Ballroom already sold out. Full details on Frank’s live dates are detailed on his website here.

Propaganda Celebrate 40 Years of ‘A Secret Wish’ With Deluxe Box Set ‘A Secret Sense of Rhythm : A Secret Sense of Sin’
German synth-pop visionaries Propaganda emerged from Düsseldorf in 1982, soon capturing the imagination of musical tastemakers with their provocative, art-driven sound described at the time as ‘Abba from Hell’. Propaganda was the first band to formally sign to Trevor Horn’s pioneering ZTT label in June 1983, and they released their debut single, ‘Dr. Mabuse’, in February of the following year. The brooding, cinematic track, produced by Horn and perhaps best experienced in all its 10-minute ‘Das Testament Des Mabuse’ glory, as a perfect example of the art of the 12” version.
The full-length debut, ‘A Secret Wish’, arrived in the Summer of 1985. Written primarily by Ralf Dörper, Michael Mertens, Claudia Brücken & Andreas Thein, and produced by Stephen Lipson, it featured the distinctive vocals of both Brücken and Susanne Freytag, along with cameos from David Sylvian, Stewart Copeland, Steve Howe, Glenn Gregory, and the legendary Post-Punk guitarist, the late John McGeoch.
‘A Secret Wish’ was both a critical triumph and a commercial success, reaching the top 20 on the UK Albums Chart and spawned two further iconic singles, ‘Duel’ and ‘p:Machinery’, the latter becoming a major hit in Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, as well as the ‘should have been a single ‘Murder Of Love’ and a cover of ‘Sorry For Laughing’ by the lo-fi Scottish Postcard Records band, Josef K.
That same year, the band embarked on their Outside World tour, performing across Europe and North America, with former Simple Minds bassist Derek Forbes and drummers Steve Jansen (ex-Japan) and Brian McGee (also ex-Simple Minds).
In November 1985, ‘Wishful Thinking’, a reimagining of ‘A Secret Wish’, crafted for the U.S. club market, was issued a promo only, but was quickly adopted by European fans and is regarded as a classic example of the remix album genre.
Now, for the first time, this deluxe collector’s edition box set, curated by ZTT archivist and historian Ian Peel, presents a definitive archive of Propaganda’s groundbreaking work. Along with the 6CD set, there are also two exclusive companion formats: a limited 1-LP vinyl edition remixed by David Kosten, known for his work with Faultline, Everything Everything, Bat For Lashes, Steven Wilson, and Mike Oldfield.
A SECRET SENSE OF RHYTHM : A SECRET SENSE OF SIN is a time capsule, a curated archive, and a celebration of one of the most ambitious, artful and best-regarded pop albums of the 1980s. It also serves as the most definitive record of the time Propaganda spent with the Zang Tuum Tumb record label, from 1983 to 1985.
CD 1 Secret – An encyclopaedic edition of the debut Propaganda album, A Secret Wish. All the tracks from both the original 1985 Analogue Sequence and the later Digital Variation. All remastered for its 40th anniversary at Abbey Road Studios.
CD 2 Stahlnetz – An extended edition of the remix album Wishful Thinking. If A Secret Wish was ‘ABBA in heaven’, then STAHLNETZ is ‘ABBA in hell’, its darker dance-floor counterpart, created ‘for the footsteps and heartbeats of the connoisseur’.
CD 3 Singlette – Propaganda’s three specially-edited EPs – originally released only on cassette – all with unique versions, mixes and sequences: Do Well, Complete Machinery and the initial intended sequence for (The Nine Lives of) Dr. Mabuse.
CD 4 Series – Propaganda’s contributions to Zang Tuum Tumb’s Action, Incidental and Fatal series. Featuring some of the biggest, boldest 12″ remixes in the history of electronic pop, connected by the Testament series of interludes and edits.
CD 5 Studio – A behind-the-scenes listen into Propaganda at work in Sarm Studios across 1984 and 1985. The construction of the album, including the singles and remixes, is a raw, illuminating work-in-progress juxtaposed with beautiful alternate takes.
CD 6 (Some Kind Of) Single – The final Propaganda single of the Zang Tuum Tumb era: a previously unreleased version of Dr. Mabuse from John Hughes’ 1987 film Some Kind of Wonderful, alongside mixes created especially for TV and video.

Everyday Is Saturday Night With Danko Jones’ Rock Anthem
Who says Saturday night only comes once a week? With their brand new single, “Everyday Is Saturday Night,” Canadian rock torchbearers Danko Jones prove that the party never has to end. The track is the second thunderous offering from their forthcoming album, due this November via Perception.
With “Everyday Is Saturday Night,” Danko Jones delivers a high-octane, party-ready anthem that rewires your week, makes you forget about the 9-to-5 grind, turning mundane Mondays into Fridays and every day into a non-stop Saturday night party you won’t want to end. It’s a rallying cry to live loud and love harder.
Frontman Danko Jones puts it plainly: “‘Everyday Is Saturday Night’ is proving we’re on a roll when it comes to anthems.”
Clocking in at just over three minutes of pure rock ecstasy, the single is a sonic rebellion for anyone who’s ever wished the weekend would last forever – and with this track on repeat, it just might. Riffs thunder, drums pummel, and Danko’s unmistakable snarl dares you to call in sick and crank it up louder. This is more than a song – it’s a middle finger to monotony, a rebel yell against routine. Why wait for the weekend when “Everyday Is Saturday Night”?
The single is accompanied by a visually striking, artful and cinematic music video. Written, directed, and edited by Italian filmmaker Giacomo Triglia (Maneskin, Dolce & Gabbana, Jovanotti), the video was filmed in Osaka, Japan, and stars Lidia Passarelli. Triglia’s surreal, stylized direction offers a fresh visual layer to the song, blending emotion and edge in unexpected ways.
