Ian Munsick has a new label home and a new single to go with it. The Wyoming-born country artist has announced a partnership between his own imprint, West to the Rest Records, and Triple Tigers Records. The collaboration launches with “Geronimo,” out now, written by Munsick alongside Devin Dawson and Mike Robinson and produced by Munsick and Robinson.

The signing comes after Munsick departed Warner Music Nashville in September and launched West to the Rest Records on his own terms. Triple Tigers heard the new music and responded with the kind of directness Munsick was looking for. “After I played some of my new music for the team at Triple Tigers, they told me exactly what songs they thought could achieve that vision,” he says. “It was so refreshing to hear the words ‘that song is a hit’ when playing a guitar/vocal work tape for the label heads.”

“Geronimo” marks the first release from Munsick’s next project, following his third studio album ‘Eagle Feather’, which arrived in April 2025. The new track carries the same rugged, grounded energy that has defined his catalog, and it signals a focused new chapter for an artist who has consistently built his audience the hard way.

Munsick has sold out venues across the country by earning his fanbase one show at a time, and that work ethic carries into 2026. The “Eagle Flies Free” Tour is underway, with stops in Atlanta, Bozeman, Portland, and more. Tracy Lawrence has a lot of ground to cover this year, and he’s doing it on his own terms. The country music icon launches his 2026 “No Alibis” Tour, a headlining run presented on select dates by Peachtree Entertainment, stretching from spring through August with stops across America and more dates still to come.

Lawrence brings a catalog that has held up for decades, and he knows exactly what these shows mean to the people who show up. “This year felt like the right time to lean back into headlining more shows and really celebrate these songs with the folks who’ve been there from the beginning and love real country music,” he says. “The No Alibis Tour is about showing up and sharing a night that reminds us why we fell in love with country music in the first place.”

Among the highlights is a third consecutive year at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on May 3, following back-to-back sellouts. Lawrence also plays festival dates including Two Step Inn, Carolina Country Music Festival, Barefoot Country Music Festival, Rock the South, Country Stampede, and the Cali Country Cruise. The breadth of the routing speaks to his reach across the country format.

Paul Di’Anno’s story is unlike anything heavy metal has produced. Di’Anno: Iron Maiden’s Lost Singer, directed by Wes Orshoski and released by Cleopatra Entertainment, arrives this summer, a raw and intimate documentary chronicling the final chapter of the man who helped launch one of metal’s greatest bands.

Orshoski, whose previous credits include the acclaimed Lemmy documentary and The Damned: Don’t You Wish That We Were Dead, began shooting in 2017. The film follows two Iron Maiden fans who encounter Di’Anno at the lowest point of his life, launch a crowdfunding campaign, and ultimately relocate him to Croatia, where doctors help him stage a dramatic health recovery. It ends with a heroic return to the stage.

The film features appearances by Metallica’s James Hetfield, Kiss’s Gene Simmons, Maiden’s Steve Harris, and members of Exodus, Slayer, Megadeth, Overkill, and Sepultura. That roster alone signals the depth of Di’Anno’s impact on heavy metal. Shot across England, Croatia, Brazil, and the United States, the documentary captures something rarely seen in the rock doc format: a genuine second act, fought for and earned.

Di’Anno appeared on two of the most foundational albums in metal history, Iron Maiden’s 1980 self-titled debut and the follow-up ‘Killers’, released in 1981. His departure that same year, and replacement by Bruce Dickinson, sparked a debate among metal fans that has never stopped.

There’s a live audition happening in Toronto on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Live Nation Lounge, 2 Snooker Street, Liberty Village. Registration opens at 11am. You don’t need to be contacted or pre-approved in advance. Fill out the submission form, show up, and bring your best one minute. That’s all you need to walk in the door.

A few things to know before you go. Come prepared with a printed one-pager that includes your bio, a photo, contact info, and social media links. Honey Jam will provide a Yamaha 88-note weighted digital piano for the auditions, but full bands cannot be accommodated at this stage (if selected for the showcase, you’ll have access to the house band). Nicholas Brendon, Who Brought Xander Harris To Life On Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Dies At 54

Nicholas Brendon, the actor who spent seven seasons as the heart and humor of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, died Friday, March 20, in his sleep. He was 54. His family confirmed the news, stating that he passed of natural causes. “We are heartbroken to share the passing of our brother and son, Nicholas Brendon,” the family said in a statement. “He lived with intensity, imagination, and heart.”

Born Nicholas Brendon Schultz in Los Angeles in 1971, he came to acting as a way to manage a stutter that had shaped much of his early life. It worked. He was cast as Xander Harris in 1997 and appeared in all but one of Buffy’s 144 episodes across seven seasons, earning Saturn Award nominations in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Xander was the everyman of the Scooby Gang, the one without powers, the one who showed up anyway. Brendon brought warmth, wit, and unexpected depth to the role, and audiences never forgot it.

Beyond Buffy, Brendon had a recurring role as FBI technical analyst Kevin Lynch on Criminal Minds, appeared alongside Bradley Cooper in the short-lived Fox series Kitchen Confidential, and starred in the cult film Psycho Beach Party. He remained a fixture at fan conventions for years, maintaining a genuine and generous connection with the audiences who grew up watching him.

In his later years, Brendon faced serious health challenges, including a heart attack, a congenital heart defect diagnosis, and multiple spinal surgeries stemming from cauda equina syndrome. He was open about his struggles with depression and substance abuse, and faced multiple arrests over the years. His family noted that at the time of his passing, he was receiving treatment, optimistic, and had found a new passion in painting and visual art.

Shoes’ Gary Klebe Goes Solo With New Single “Room To Breathe” And Debut LP ‘Out Loud’ Due April 17

Gary Klebe built his reputation as a founding member of Shoes, the pioneering power pop group who were recording DIY albums in their own living room back in 1977, years before punk made it fashionable. Now, more than five decades into that band’s run, Klebe steps out alone with “Room To Breathe,” the second single from his debut solo album ‘Out Loud,’ arriving April 17 via Black Vinyl Records.

This record is a genuine one-man operation. Klebe wrote every song alone and recorded almost everything himself, serving as engineer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist in his own basement studio, working nights and weekends around his ongoing work with Shoes. Drums were tracked in Nashville with John Richardson (Gin Blossoms, Badfinger, Tommy Keene), but the rest came together through vintage gear, favorite stompboxes, and decades of accumulated craft.

“Room To Breathe” opens ‘Out Loud’ with immediate urgency. Klebe describes it as a song about a man who has hit his tipping point, someone who finally understands that not making a decision is itself a decision. “He knows the time for action is in the here and now,” Klebe shares. “Gotta go. Gotta run. Gotta fly out of here.” Raw, distorted power chords collide with sharp pop melody, and the result is exactly what you’d hope from someone with Klebe’s track record.

The first single “Not Tough Enough” set the tone, a hook-driven, guitar-heavy track that drew immediate praise. ‘Out Loud’ is eleven tracks of that same energy, personal, propulsive, and built entirely on feel. Shoes have never stopped making music, and this album proves Klebe hasn’t either.
