Trans-Siberian Orchestra Announce 2025 Winter Tour With New ‘Ghosts of Christmas Eve’ Show and Beethoven Tribute

0

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) has unveiled the exciting details for their 2025 Winter Tour, which will bring the multi-platinum rock group to 64 markets for 106 concerts nationwide. This year’s tour will feature an all-new production of their beloved The Ghosts of Christmas Eve alongside a special second set of hits and fan-favorites, which includes a 25th-anniversary salute to Beethoven’s Last Night. The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: the Best of TSO and More Tour promises to continue TSO’s tradition of captivating audiences nationwide with an unparalleled blend of rock, classical, and theatrical spectacle, complete with dazzling pyrotechnics, lasers, and incredible storytelling.

Presales start on Thursday, September 4th, ahead of the general sale on Friday, September 12th at 10 am local time.

The 2025 TSO tour promises a reimagined and expanded presentation of the beloved holiday tradition, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, which has captivated multiple generations. A product of the imagination of TSO’s late founder, Paul O’Neill, and based on TSO’s multi-platinum DVD TV special, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, follows the journey of a runaway who breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater on December 24th. Following this powerful rock opera, the 2025 tour will also deliver a high-octane, visually stunning second set packed with more of TSO’s greatest hits, fan-favorites, and unexpected delights.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s acclaimed rock opera Beethoven’s Last Night is set to make its vinyl debut on September 12th. This special 2 LP set, which tells the dramatic tale of Ludwig van Beethoven’s final hours, blending his iconic melodies with hard rock and theatrical storytelling, will be available as an exclusive lenticular cover and a red vinyl pressing.

TSO is also pleased to announce the return of a fan-favorite tradition: the TSO signing line. For the first time since 2019, every fan attending an evening performance will have the incredible opportunity to get one item signed by members of the group, completely free of charge.

Building on the monumental milestones celebrated in their last tour, TSO continues to redefine its success. With over 20 million concert tickets sold and a staggering more than $20 million donated to charity since their inception, TSO remains one of rock’s most generous bands, proudly upholding Paul O’Neill’s vision by contributing at least $1 from every ticket sold to local charities.

With an incredible $1 billion in gross sales, TSO’s remarkable and consistent appeal is reflected in recent industry accolades: Pollstar recognized TSO at No. 4 for Top North America Tours and at No. 6 on their Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart by gross for Midyear 2025, while Billboard placed them at No. 5 in Midyear 2025 Top Ticket Sales and No. 13 on the Midyear 2025 Top Tours chart. Adding to their impressive achievements, their iconic hit, “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,” has just surpassed 100 million streams across digital platforms, further cementing its status as a timeless holiday classic.

What do Little Richard, The White Stripes, Darlene Love, The Beatles, and The Ramones have in common? Little Steven’s Underground Garage! Maximum Rock and Soul!

In April of 2002 Stevie Van Zandt launched Little Steven’s Underground Garage, his internationally syndicated terrestrial Rock and Soul radio show. Each week Little Steven takes audiences on a two hour trip through all 60 years of Rock and Roll, and it’s roots. Not only does The Underground Garage play the coolest Rock records ever made, but it has helped introduce over 1000 new bands throughout the history of the show including The White Stripes, The Strokes, The Hives, Arcade Fire, Gaslight Anthem, The Black Keys, Rival Sons, and more to an international audience. Over 40% of the format is dedicated to new music and emerging artists.

The show also features pop culture history, Steven’s anecdotes, fun facts, and occasional interviews. It is broadcast on over 80 stations in 200 plus markets, including internationally in Canada, UK, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Belgium, Peru, and Australia, as well as worldwide on the American Forces Network and Voice of America.

Over 1000 consecutive weekly episodes have aired and have included such special guests as Jack Black, Brian Wilson, Ray Davies, Peter Wolf, Iggy Pop, Ringo Starr, Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, and Bruce Springsteen, and has been endorsed by legends like David Bowie, Pete Townshend, Lou Reed, Ozzy Osbourne, Joan Jett, Robert Plant, James Hetfield, Debbie Harry and many, many others.

The success of the radio show has allowed Little Steven’s Underground Garage to expand beyond the world of radio into television, live events, albums, satellite radio, and more.

In 2003, after the success of “Little Steven’s Underground Garage,” the newly launched Sirius Satellite Radio recruited Steven to create it’s FIRST original content. He would start the service’s first 24/7 branded music channels, while also continuing to record his syndicated terrestrial show. One channel was “The Underground Garage.” Stylistically the format is a continuation of the syndicated terrestrial show. While radio was turning towards computer generated playlists, Steven would go in the complete opposite direction and hire Rock and Roll personalities from various backgrounds as DJ’s to add their own stories and anecdotes to the music.

Signs of the Swarm Unleash Sixth Album ‘To Rid Myself of Truth’ With Crushing New Video for “Natural Selection”

0

Pittsburgh deathcore titans Signs of the Swarm have released their sixth full-length, To Rid Myself of Truth, via Century Media Records.

Vocalist David Simonich comments about “Natural Selection”: “‘Natural Selection’ has become a defining moment in our live set. We have played it across North America and Europe, and the crowd response made it clear; this song had to be the anchor of our album cycle. To bring the vision to life, we teamed up once again with our longtime friend and director Eric DiCarlo, and I couldn’t be more proud of the result. This track is about transformation—the prey becoming the predator—surpassing limits and evolving into something stronger.”

In regards to To Rid Myself of Truth‘s release, Simonich comments: “‘To Rid Myself of Truth’ has been a heavy burden on my shoulders for a long time. It feels like I’ve shed my skin and used it as paper; this is by far the most personal and honest record I’ve ever made with Signs of the Swarm. It dives headfirst into raw vulnerability, pulling directly from my own experiences. I’ve been anxiously waiting to see how it will resonate. My hope is that this album impacts listeners as deeply as it’s impacted me, and that we can all share in the connection it creates on the road this fall.”

Drummer Bobby Crow adds: “We are so excited to finally have ‘To Rid Myself of Truth’ out into the world. It’s been years in the making, and with every album it’s such a surreal feeling to finally have it out of our hands and give it to people to make it ‘theirs.’ We set out to make something heavy and cathartic, and the response has been heart-warming for all of us. After 6 albums, I truly think ‘TRMOT’ has a taste of something for everyone who has followed the band over the last 11 years, and I can’t wait to see these songs take on a life of their own.

“Alongside the album, we have released our final music video for this album, ‘Natural Selection,’ a song that at its core is a testament to growth. We’ve played it across the globe over the past 6 months and we chose to release it last because we wanted to do it right.

“We will be performing a ton of these new tracks for the very first time on our upcoming tour across North America October and November, with support from Mental Cruelty, Ten56., Carcosa, and Face Yourself.

“I would like to say thank you. Thank you to our amazing management, agencies, and label teams for supporting us in pushing ourselves ever-further, and thank you to anyone who has taken a chance on Signs of the Swarm over the last decade. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to make sincere, honest, heavy music.”

To Rid Myself of Truth track-listing:

  1. To Rid Myself of Truth
  2. HELLMUSTFEARME
  3. Natural Selection
  4. Scars Upon Scars
  5. Chariot
  6. Clouded Retinas feat. Will Ramos
  7. Iron Sacrament feat. Phil Bozeman
  8. Forcing to Forget
  9. Sarkazein
  10. Fear & Judgement feat. Jack Murray (156/Silence) and Johnny Crowder (Prison, ex-Dark Sermon)
  11. Creator

Reunited with producer Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, Mental Cruelty, Varials, King 810), Signs Of The Swarm continues molting their slamming deathcore exoskeleton, revealing a band now as indebted to Meshuggah, Gojira and Fear Factory as any of the deathcore bands they grew up on—now peers. After writing breakout 5th LP Amongst the Low & Empty (2023) almost entirely in-studio, the group geared up to do it again on To Rid Myself of Truth. This stint’s 7-week lead time—PLUS the in-studio time—was a veritable vacation for the band, with the addition of guitarist/backing vocalist Carl Schulz adding a whole other set of riffing hands (and vocal chords) to the band. It was plenty of time for the now-quartet, rounded out by bassist Michael Cassese, to craft metal exactly as they think it should sound: MORE. PISSED. And it is. Musically the album’s edges are far more serrated than their last’s flirtations with djenty bounce. Read the full bio for To Rid Myself of Truth here.

Fans can catch Signs Of The Swarm this fall when they headline a North American trek with support from Mental Cruelty, ten56., Carcosa and Face Yourself. The band will also be returning to Europe and the UK with Chelsea Grin, Mugshot and Crown Magnetar in November/December.

The concert will bring together renowned musicians and top chefs to celebrate the aloha spirit and support the Hua Momona Foundation’s continued work across Maui. Miyeon of I-DLE Soars With New Solo Single “Sky Walking”

0

Miyeon, celebrated vocalist of global K-pop group I-DLE, releases her new solo single “Sky Walking,” available across all streaming platforms with a Dolby Atmos version also out now via BMG.

First introduced during her solo stage on the 2024 I-dol World Tour in Seoul, “Sky Walking” reveals a new dimension of Miyeon’s artistry. The song blends a bold bassline and crisp drums with shimmering 80s-inspired guitar and synths, creating an invigorating sound. Lyrically, it offers a message of hope and freedom, carried by the pop star’s unmistakable voice. The track also highlights her creative growth, with Miyeon contributing to its writing and composition.

For Miyeon, the release marks another milestone in a career that has spanned music, acting, and broadcasting. Born Cho Mi-yeon in 1997, she studied violin, guitar, and piano from an early age before debuting with i-dle in 2018. Within months, she was recognized as one of the group’s standout vocalists, and soon reached international acclaim as the voice of Ahri in the virtual K-pop group K/DA, whose debut single “Pop/Stars” topped Billboard’s World Digital Songs chart and became a viral phenomenon.

Her first solo project, the 2022 EP [MY], showcased a more intimate side through songs like “Drive,” earning her a first music show trophy as a soloist. Since then, she has continued to expand her range, recording soundtracks, collaborating with artists such as Raiden and Lee Donghae, and serving as the longest-running female host in M Countdown history. She has also built a reputation as a versatile actress, taking lead roles in projects including Replay: The Moment and Delivery.

With “Sky Walking,” Miyeon underscores her versatility and ambition, bringing together the experience of her early training, the momentum of her group’s success, and her own evolving creative voice.

Fever Ray Taps Young Marco for Hypnotic Remix of “I’m Not Done”

0

Fever Ray (aka Karin Dreijer) has shared a spectral, propulsive reimagining of “I’m Not Done” from Amsterdam’s renowned, genre-bending DJ and producer Young Marco.

Young Marco stands as a true sonic innovator, his illustrious achievements rooted in a deep exploration of club music in all its forms. Among them are two studio albums, multiple EPS and compilations, remix collaborations with the likes of Robyn, Marie Davidson, Metronomy and more. He is a champion of burgeoning artists through the groundbreaking electronic label he founded, Safe Trip Records, a member of ambient trio Gaussian Curve and has toured the world, defying expectations with every new creative endeavor.

The remix arrives following the release last month of The Year Of The Radical Romantics, which is out now digitally via Mute. There is additionally an accompanying The Year Of The Radical Romantics publication, 1000 copies exclusively printed, available for pre-order. The publication will not be reprinted once sold-out.

The Year Of The Radical Romantics is a document of the juicy, throbbing missives used to woo crowds from Sydney to Seattle on the globe-trotting There’s No Place I’d Rather Be Tour in support of 2023’s lauded Radical Romantics. The new album consists of live-to-tape studio versions of tracks from Radical Romantics in addition to highlights from 2017’s Plunge and massive new iterations of early classics performed by the musicians who accompanied Dreijer on tour – Minna Koivisto on keyboards; Romarna Campbell on drums; Maryam Nikandish and Helena Gutarra on keytars and vocals.

Radical Romantics’ riotous, world-building videos introduced an unforgettable cast of characters. Accompanying Fever Ray (aka the white-suited Casanova) are wannabe-womanizer Romance, clockwatcher Main, witchy Snusis, and axe-wielding bombshell Demona Lisa. The Year of Radical Romantics offers a culmination of these character’s arcs with a pair of videos directed by longtime longtime Fever Ray creative visionary Martin Falck. The visuals find the misfits navigating group therapy sessions led by therapist Ebba. These sessions are soundtracked by blistering versions of fan favourites from Fever Ray’s beloved self-titled 2009 debut album: “I’m Not Done (Therapy Session” and “Now’s the Only Time I Know (Therapy Session).”

The Year Of The Radical Romantics publication is available to pre-order here. The publication, designed and edited by Fever Ray and Falck, dives deeper into the creative process behind the making of the Radical Romantics universe. The publication showcases initial sketches and the trials and errors that shaped the characters seen on stage, in photographs, and music videos. It also features press photography, cover shoots, editorials, and exclusive behind-the-scenes imagery captured by Fever Ray, the live band, and photographer Nina Andersson.

Falck says of the publication: “Creating the characters for the Radical Romantics era has been a true labor of love. Bringing them to life, watching them experience love, heartbreak, death, and even getting fired, has been an absolute joy. Working on this publication has given us a chance to reflect on our own creative process, and we’re so excited to share it with you.”
