Clover County Announces Debut Headline ‘Finer Things Tour’ Alongside Deluxe Album Reveal

0

Georgia singer/songwriter Clover County, who affectionately refers to her genre as “bootgaze,” has announced her debut headline ‘Finer Things Tour,’ kicking off in February and covering major cities including Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and Nashville. Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, December 12. This announcement follows a highly acclaimed tour run earlier this year, and she is slated to rejoin Sam Barber for several dates in 2026. Clover stated that she feels “so fortunate” to be heading out on her first headline tour, adding that the experience of standing in rooms with people who have embraced her “little songs” is something she doesn’t “take lightly.”

To accompany the tour announcement, Clover shared details on ‘Finer Things (Deluxe),’ the deluxe edition of her debut album, which is set to arrive on January 23 via Undercover Lover Records / Thirty Tigers. The original album, produced by Carrie K, earned high praise upon its September release, with Holler naming it the #17 Best Country Album of the Year. The forthcoming deluxe features two brand new songs, including the gentle new single “Suitcase,” produced by Brad Cook. Clover described “Suitcase” as an apology to a lover for leaving, hoping they will join her on her “wild, selfish journey.”

Clover continues to expand her unique sound, developed while cutting her teeth in Athens, GA. She notes that the new tracks on the deluxe are “cheeky, evocative” and “blissfully over-romanticize the inevitable experiences in modern love.” Working with producer Brad Cook and featuring tasteful guitar layers by Nathan Stocker (Hippo Campus), the deluxe release is meant to “tie the bow” on her first album. Having spent the last two years supporting a diverse array of artists including Lord Huron, Madi Diaz, and Shakey Graves, Clover is ready to step into the spotlight with her own headline tour next year.

Scarlet Tantrum Delivers Devastating Emotional Punch with “Insignificant”

0

Alright, let’s talk about the kind of music that doesn’t just knock on your door, it kicks it in and then makes you sit down to listen. I’m talking about Scarlet Tantrum and her devastating new track, “Insignificant.” This isn’t your standard radio heartbreak—this is the slow, quiet, bone-deep ache of feeling completely unseen and unvalued by the one person who was supposed to be your home base. Hailing from North Carolina, Scarlet Tantrum (aka Laura) is pulling from some raw, personal real estate here, detailing the slow erosion of self-worth that comes when neglect creeps into a relationship and makes you doubt your own pain. It’s alt-rock meets indie confession, and it hits like a delayed reaction concussion.

The production on this thing is genius, co-piloted by Jess Soelberg. They manage to walk that razor-thin line between delicate and absolutely crushing. You get these soft, almost fragile verses that build this slow-burn tension, and then, bam! The chorus comes in like a cracked-open diary, exposing every raw nerve, every feeling of emotional gaslighting and longing. Scarlet’s vocal performance is the whole reason this works; it’s intimate, wounded, and brutally honest—she doesn’t just sing the words, she lives in them, turning the damage that silence can inflict into a rallying cry for anyone who’s ever felt disposable.

What we have here is more than just a song; it’s a defining creative statement for Scarlet Tantrum, who fuses the raw edge of the ’90s alt-rock she grew up on with modern pop sensibility—think Hayley Williams meets Halsey. “Insignificant” has that moody production and fearless honesty that marks the arrival of a serious artist. If you’re looking for music that’s an emotional outlet, a piece of catharsis, and a damn good rock tune that doesn’t pull any punches, you need to crank this one. It’s the sound of finding your strength when you finally decide to walk away from the silence.

USHER Joins Protégé JayDon and Paradise on New “Lullaby (mega remix)”

0

JayDon, the young R&B triple threat signed by USHER to his co-founded label, mega, has released the new “Lullaby (mega remix),” featuring his mentor and mega labelmate Paradise. The new version of the viral hit, out now via Zoo/mega/gamma, dials up the emotion as USHER delivers a trademark confession, JayDon elevates his vocals to match his mentor, and Paradise adds a melodic new verse. Produced by GRAMMY-nominated producer Harv (“Peaches”) and written by Felisha King (Cherish), the remix is a significant “torch-passing moment” from USHER to two artists he deems worthy of carrying on his legacy.

The original “Lullaby,” a lush ballad in stately 6/8 time, showcasing JayDon’s exquisite control and falsetto, became a viral sensation, topping the Spotify Viral 50 in South Korea for multiple weeks. “Lullaby” is a highlight from JayDon’s recently-released debut EP, Me My Songs & I, which also features the USHER-sampling track “I’ll Be Good” and the Jersey club-inspired “Boujee Baby.” The 18-year-old actor and singer, who has also appeared in films like The Lion King and TV shows like The Paynes, is now determined to solidify his place as one of his generation’s most vital R&B artists with the support of USHER and L.A. Reid.

RUSSIA Designates Art Collective PUSSY RIOT as “Extremist Organization” and Bans All Activity

0

Russia’s campaign against the feminist art collective Pussy Riot reached its apex today as the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow, at the request of the Ministry of Justice, officially classified the group as an “extremist organization” and banned its activities within the country. The ruling effectively criminalizes all association, circulation, and support for Pussy Riot, recasting the protest collective as a threat to national security and making simple actions—such as owning a balaclava, having a song on a computer, or even “liking” a social media post—punishable by prison time.

The ruling was delivered by Judge Maria Moskalenko, who has a history with the collective, having imprisoned Ilya Yashin, Alexei Navalny, and Peter Verzilov in 2011. This group designation follows a string of individual charges against members, including the sentencing of five members in absentia in September 2025 and the earlier arrests in absentia of founders Nadya Tolokonnikova and Peter Verzilov. The court order is designed to erase Pussy Riot’s existence from the minds of Russians, placing the group in the same category as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), the International LGBT movement, and the late opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Foundation.

The group’s founder, Nadya Tolokonnikova, currently in exile, responded with defiance: “In today’s Russia, telling the truth is extremism. So be it – we’re proud extremists, then. I can say what I think about putin—that he is an aging sociopath spreading his venom around the world like cancer.” She added that while the ban is meant to sow fear, Pussy Riot remains committed to truth, progress, and justice, stressing, “We wear masks because you cannot stamp out an idea.” Alexey Knedlyakovsky, a Pussy Riot member since 2011, called the designation an “important event” confirming he was “extremely right to choose this path — the path of traditional human values: freedom, love, and equality.”

Cazzu Announces 2026 “Latinaje” Tour Her First-Ever U.S. Concert Run

0

Latin Grammy-nominated artist Cazzu, one of the most influential voices in Latin urban music, officially announces her highly anticipated “Latinaje” Tour in 2026, bringing her bold artistic vision and iconic sound to U.S. audiences for the first time with 7 shows across the country.

Promoted by Live Nation, the tour will kick off on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at San Jose Civic in San Jose and will continue through May with stops in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, Houston, and more.

The announcement follows Cazzu’s recent and highly successful “Latinaje” 14-date arena tour across Latin America and marks a milestone as she expands her tour to the U.S. for the first time in her career promoting her critically acclaimed fifth studio album, Latinaje, released in April 2025.

Entirely written by Cazzu and produced by Nico Cotton, Latinaje is a deeply introspective exploration of love in all its forms – fiery, fractured, eternal, and ephemeral. Through powerful storytelling, Cazzu places herself at the heart of narratives that reveal her strength, vulnerability, and the nuanced realities of love and identity as a Latin American woman. The album is a rich tapestry of sound, blending copla, tango, cumbia, bachata, corrido and Argentine folklore into a genre-defying journey. With every sonic and visual choice rooted in a celebration of Latin identity, Latinajeoffers a bold, contemporary tribute to the cultural diversity of the continent.

Latinaje features previously released singles “La Cueva” in which the video unfolds in a country house consumed by flames – a striking metaphor for the collapse of a relationship. In the corrido “Dolce,” the protagonist enacts revenge on a treacherous lover. Meanwhile, cumbia single “Con Otra”, which was the most viewed song on YouTube in Argentina in 2025, pays reference to Karina “La Princesita” and tells the story of a young woman navigating love and identity in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Across stories and experiences, Cazzu places women firmly at the heart of Latinaje, portraying their strength, vulnerability, and deep connection to culture. Rather than relying on stereotypes, the women in this album emerge as complex, multidimensional characters, each with a distinct voice and a powerful story. Through their journeys, Latinaje becomes a bold statement on the importance of visibility and empowerment for women in a cultural landscape still heavily shaped by machismo and patriarchal tradition.
