Elmiene announces his debut album ‘sounds for someone’, due March 27 via Polydor and Def Jam Recordings. The announcement arrives alongside the release of the new single “Reclusive,” produced by Jeff Gitty Gitelman, which offers a focused snapshot of the album’s restrained soul palette. Across 12 tracks, ‘sounds for someone’ reflects on family, absence, and emotional inheritance, building on the foundation established by Elmiene’s earlier releases while marking a clear new phase in his songwriting.
Speaking on the album’s title and intent, Elmiene says, “I’m a firm believer in ‘the songs belong to you until you release them’… it’s up to people to experience and listen to in their lives, whatever they may be.” The project follows a period of high-profile performances and releases, including his single “Cry Against The Wind,” appearances at the BET Awards and Roots Picnic, and a widely viewed NPR Tiny Desk Concert. With ‘sounds for someone’, Elmiene consolidates a run defined by careful craft, vocal control, and an expanding presence within contemporary R&B and soul.

The global theatrical rights to the forthcoming feature-length documentary film Billy Idol Should Be Dead, directed by three-time Grammy-winner Jonas Åkerlund and produced by Live Nation Studios, have been acquired by Evan Saxon Productions (ESP). The film traces the life and career of punk pioneer turned rock ‘n’ roll icon Billy Idol. Through never-before-seen archival and personal interviews with Idol, his family, peers and collaborators, the documentary digs deep into his emergence as a prototypical punk rocker, his meteoric rise as a global superstar in the MTV era and the myriad of challenges Idol had to overcome to not just survive, but to remain one of the most beloved figures in rock n roll, almost fifty years into his career.
The film made its festival debut at the Tribeca Film Festival last summer, followed by an award qualifying run. The film will have its wide theatrical release in early 2026. Additional info will be shared shortly.
“Billy Idol is a larger-than-life artist who changed the face of pop culture and music history during his 50-year career,” notes Evan Saxon. “From Generation X to now, he’s still selling out arenas around the globe. We are honored to work with Another Planet’s Laurence Freedman and Live Nation to bring the powerful and heartfelt documentary Billy Idol Should Be Dead to his fans on the biggest cinema screens worldwide.”
The film features Idol’s original song with Academy Award-nominated writer J. Ralph, “Dying To Live,” which is included on the shortlist for Best Original Song at the 98th Academy Awards. The film’s coda sequence is built around “Dying To Live,” featuring imagery—both animated and archival—from throughout Idol’s life and storied career and was written by Idol and Ralph alongside longtime Idol collaborators Steve Stevens, Tommy English and Joe Janiak.
Billboard recently named “Dying To Live” a top contender for the Best Original Song Oscar, while The Hollywood Reporter praises “Idol’s warm vocal delivery alongside the swelling strings.” The original song was recently nominated for Best Song-Documentary Film at the Hollywood Music In Media (HMMA) Awards, which also nominated Billy Idol Should Be Dead for Best Music Documentary-Special Program.
Idol’s first full-length album of new music in over a decade, Dream Into It, is out now on Dark Horse Records. The album reached #7 on the U.S. Top Albums Chart and #4 on the U.S. Current Rock Album Chart, #9 on the U.K. Official Album Sales Chart and #2 on the German Top 100 Album Chart. Dream Into It continues to see extensive critical acclaim from The New Yorker, New York Magazine, AARP The Magazine, Consequence, Billboard, USA Today and many more. See what the press has said and watch Idol’s appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (performing his new single “77” feat. Avril Lavigne as well as discussing the new record with Kimmel) and “The Drew Barrymore Show” in the interactive one-sheet HERE.
The album includes performance and co-writing contributions throughout from Idol’s longtime guitarist/collaborator Steve Stevens plus appearances by Lavigne, Joan Jett and Alison Mosshart of The Kills, and is produced by Tommy English (Kacey Musgraves, blink 182, BØRNS, K. Flay). Stream/purchase the record HERE.
Additionally, Idol recently returned to the road for It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again! The tour saw Idol sell out venues across the U.S., Europe and Latin America while touring with support from Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, New Model Army and more.
Gorillaz release the new track “Orange County (ft. Bizarrap, Kara Jackson and Anoushka Shankar),” paired with its companion piece “The Hardest Thing (ft. Tony Allen).” The two songs sit side by side on the upcoming album ‘The Mountain’, out February 27 via the band’s new label KONG, and are also available as a limited-edition Double A-side 7-inch vinyl. Produced by Gorillaz and Bizarrap, “Orange County” was written by Damon Albarn alongside Kara Jackson and Bizarrap, while “The Hardest Thing” opens with the voice of longtime collaborator Tony Allen, recorded prior to his passing in 2020.
“The Hardest Thing” explores grief and farewell, with its central lyric carrying directly into “Orange County,” which expands the emotional scope through layered vocals and instrumentation. The latter features contributions from Kara Jackson and sitar player Anoushka Shankar, weaving spoken word, melody, and rhythmic propulsion into a single eight-minute sequence when heard as intended. Together, the tracks reflect core themes of ‘The Mountain’, an album spanning 15 songs and featuring collaborators from across genres, generations, and languages.
The release coincides with a major Gorillaz moment in Los Angeles. Damon Albarn and the Gorillaz live band will perform ‘The Mountain’ in full at two one-off shows at the Hollywood Palladium on February 22 and 23. This will be followed by the Los Angeles debut and final run of House of Kong, a multi-sensory exhibition opening February 26 at Rolling Greens in Downtown L.A. and running through March 19, marking the closing chapter of the project’s visual and live presentation.

PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson release the official music video for “Stateside,” a fan-favorite collaboration from the Fancy That era. Directed by Charlotte Rutherford, the video unfolds in a stylized shopfront where a mannequin version of PinkPantheress springs to life before clashing with an equally animated Zara Larsson, sending controlled chaos into the streets. The visual expands the playful, surreal tone that has come to define PinkPantheress’ recent work.
“Stateside” continues to gain momentum globally, climbing the Spotify Global Top 200 and entering the Billboard Hot 100, marking PinkPantheress’ third career appearance on the chart. The track also stands as her seventh Official Charts Top 40 hit. It appears on Fancy Some More?, a 22-track remix project that has surpassed 700 million streams worldwide and brings together an international roster of artists and producers, each offering a distinct reinterpretation of the PinkPantheress sound.
Originally released in 2025, Fancy That was written and produced by PinkPantheress with collaborators including aksel arvid, Count Baldor, phil, Oscar Scheller, and The Dare. The project led to sold-out shows in London and Los Angeles and set the stage for an active 2026, including festival appearances and a North American run of An Evening with PinkPantheress. The “Stateside” video adds another visual chapter to this expanding body of work.

Tim McGraw will headline the entertainment for the 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series outdoor game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins. The game takes place February 1 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, marking the first time an NHL outdoor game is played in a football stadium in the state of Florida. Live coverage begins at 6:30 pm ET on ESPN in the United States, with Canadian broadcasts on Sportsnet and TVA Sports, alongside NHL in ASL streaming options.
McGraw will perform during the first intermission presented by Ticketmaster on a stage positioned alongside the rink. His career also includes bestselling books and acting roles in film and television, including appearances in Friday Night Lights, The Blind Side, and the Yellowstone prequel 1883 alongside Faith Hill and Sam Elliott.
The Stadium Series game concludes a month-long stretch of outdoor NHL events in Florida, following the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic in Miami between the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers. For the Tampa event, the NHL will construct a regulation-size rink inside a temporary, air-conditioned structure that will be removed ahead of the outdoor primetime matchup. A limited number of tickets for the game remain available through Ticketmaster.
Beverly Glenn-Copeland and Elizabeth Copeland share the new single “Harbour (At Hotel2Tango),” a duet reworking of Glenn-Copeland’s 2023 song, released in advance of their forthcoming album ‘Laughter In Summer’, out February 6, 2026 via Transgressive. The release is accompanied by a live video captured during a sold-out performance at Hackney Empire in London in October 2025. Originally written as a birthday song for Elizabeth, “Harbour” was relearned through improvisation after Glenn experienced memory loss, with Elizabeth beside him, holding his hand as the song took shape again.
‘Laughter In Summer’ emerges during a period shaped by Glenn-Copeland’s diagnosis of LATE, a form of dementia, as his executive functioning declines while his musical instincts remain deeply present. Recently profiled by The Guardian and honored with the Legacy Award at the 2025 PTP Pink Awards, Glenn-Copeland’s creative life spans more than five decades. The album reflects the shared life he and Elizabeth have built through music and community, becoming a record grounded in devotion, memory, and connection rather than formal composition alone. Elizabeth has taken on the role of producer, shaping the album alongside music director Alex Samaras.
The album was recorded in 2024 at Hotel2Tango in Montreal with producer and engineer Howard Bilerman, following a series of tour performances. There was no initial plan to make a record. The sessions began as a way to document songs already being shared live, joined by a choir of Montreal voices assembled by Samaras. With no rehearsals and minimal preparation, the recordings were captured in Glenn’s preferred one-take approach, including a rehearsal take that opens the album. The resulting songs stand as documents of presence and generosity, created in real time and shaped by trust, care, and shared attention.
Bristol-based alt-rock band Our Nameless Boy release the new track “38,” accompanied by a music video. The song marks the first release from their upcoming EP ‘Thorns’, out April 10 via Bandcamp and available on all other platforms from April 17. Drawing from late 1990s and early 2000s U.S. alternative and emo influences, “38” moves between restrained tension and full-band intensity, pairing rhythmic misdirection with charged lyrical themes. Guitarist and vocalist Iain Gorrie explains that the song was written during a period shaped by anxiety around large-scale global events and how they are experienced on a personal level.
The accompanying video reflects the song’s focus on greed, ignorance, and division through abstract imagery, using circus performers to represent those most affected by systemic harm. Visual shifts from black and white to color reinforce the idea of recurring cycles and repeated mistakes. ‘Thorns’ follows the band’s 2021 album ‘Colour from the Doves’ and continues their move toward broader narratives examining the modern human condition. Ahead of the EP’s release, Our Nameless Boy will play a small run of live shows in the U.K.

Wylde says, “Engines of Demolition is a sincere ride through the peaks and valleys of the last four years from start to finish, some of the highest highs and lowest lows and everything in between.”
In support of the album, Black Label Society have announced U.K. headline dates with support from Venom Inc. and will also launch their first North American tour since 2021 beginning February 26.
