The critically acclaimed 1987 film, directed by Prince and featuring Prince with his talented band of musicians, including Sheila E., has undergone IMAX’s proprietary Digital Media Remastering (DMR) process to deliver unprecedented image and sound quality, offering audiences an immersive experience of Prince’s legendary performance like never before.

Early Access Showtimes will be offered in IMAX on August 28th for all the Prince fans!

Sign O’ The Times is widely celebrated for capturing the artist at his creative peak—blending electrifying concert footage with cinematic storytelling, powerful visuals, and genre-defying sound. Blackpink’s “Jump” Tops Global Charts, Becomes Group’s Most Successful Debut to Date

K-pop superstars Blackpink have dominated major global charts during the first week of their latest single, “Jump.”

According to the most recent YouTube charts, ending on July 17th, “Jump” ranked No. 1 on the Global Weekly Top Songs and Weekly Top Music Videos charts. The track topped the Korean, US, UK, and Canadian charts.

Since its release on July 11th, the song has received explosive fan response on YouTube, debuting at No. 1 on Worldwide Trending Videos and Top Rising Music, maintaining a top position since then.

Beyond YouTube, Blackpink’s power is reflected across major global charts. On Spotify, “Jump” reached No. 1 on the Global Weekly Chart, marking the group’s record as the K-pop act with the most No. 1 songs on that platform. It has also held the No. 1 spot on the daily chart for six consecutive days. On the UK Official Singles Chart, the song reached No. 18, the highest rank for any Blackpink release.

The group is currently on their Blackpink World Tour across 16 cities and 31 shows. After successful performances in Goyang, Los Angeles, and Chicago, the tour will continue to Toronto and New York, followed by major stadium dates in Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.

Miranda Lambert Scores Biggest Streaming Debut with “A Song To Sing” Featuring Chris Stapleton

Miranda Lambert’s “A Song To Sing” with Chris Stapleton has earned Lambert her biggest streaming debut. In its first week since release, the track surpasses the previous record set by Postcards from Texas lead single “Wranglers” in May 2024.

Racking up more than 3.3 million U.S. streams and over 4.3 million streams globally, the track also topped 27,000 U.S. track consumptions. Co-written by the pair along with Jesse Frasure and Jenee Fleenor, the song also arrives at No. 1 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart. It is also off to a strong start at Country radio, arriving at No. 20 on the Country Airplay chart and marking a major moment in what’s already been a landmark year for the winningest artist in Academy of Country Music history.

Lambert made a surprise appearance in Los Angeles on Saturday alongside Stapleton at SoFi Stadium for a live debut of “A Song To Sing,” while returning to the stage later in the evening to join George Strait for performances of the King of Country’s hits “Run” and “How ’Bout Them Cowgirls.”

She’s also supporting Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour throughout the summer with select headlining fair and festival dates. Lambert also recently announced Band Together Texas, a benefit concert to raise crucial funds for The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and Central Texas Community Foundation as they spearhead recovery efforts in her home state following the devastating floods earlier this month.

On the International Day of Peace, September 21, 2025, a historic event will take place on Piazza Pio XII, set against the breathtaking backdrop of St. Peter’s Square.

The World Peace Concert, dubbed Sound of Peace, is a global benefit concert that brings together internationally renowned artists to send a powerful message of peace and unity. From Rome, the message, “Peace begins within us,” will be shared with the world. The World Peace Concert is under the patronage of the Jubilee 2025 – Holy Year and the Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra.

Between St. Peter’s Square and Castel Sant’Angelo, artists and music lovers from across the globe will come together to make a collective statement of hope. The concert celebrates the universal language of music as a bridge between cultures and generations.

Sound of Peace is more than just a concert. In the spirit of global solidarity, donations will be raised to support humanitarian aid projects for children and families affected by war, as well as initiatives promoting cultural education and global cooperation.

Mannheim Steamroller Announces 40th Anniversary Christmas Tour, Kicking Off November 11

Mannheim Steamroller founder Chip Davis will celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary with the 2025 annual Christmas tour. The trek marks the longest-running concert tour in the entertainment industry. The annual Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Tour will begin on November 11th and run through December 30th. Two traveling ensembles will perform in cities across the country.

Presales start on Wednesday, July 23rd, ahead of the general sale on Friday, July 25th at 10 am local time.

“I remember when I came out with my first Christmas album in 1984, followed by our first tour. Back then, many in the music industry said focusing on Christmas just wouldn’t work,” said Davis. “Now, 40 years later, we are still going strong. I want to thank our fans for making us part of their holiday tradition. Today we often see multi-generational families join us during the holidays each year.”

Davis founded his record label, American Gramophone, one of the industry’s largest independent record labels. A Grammy Award winner, Mannheim Steamroller, has sold over 41 million albums, with over 31.5 million in the Christmas genre. Thomas Rhett Sells Out Fenway Park, Earns Diamond Single, and Drops New Music in Career-Making Weekend

Multi-platinum country superstar Thomas Rhett marked a defining moment on his Better in Boots Tour after headlining a sold-out show at Fenway Park in Boston on Saturday night (July 19th). Rhett returned to Fenway after being the first country artist to set boots on the stage. His signature blend of heart, high energy and hit-packed charisma filled the stadium alongside special guests Teddy Swims, Tucker Wetmore and The Castellows.

“Saturday at Fenway was the craziest thing ever,” Rhett states. “I have so many great memories in Boston, but I have dreamt about headlining Fenway my entire career. So, standing there with over 35,000 fans dancing and singing back to me will be etched in my brain for the rest of my life…I love you Boston!”

Rhett hit the stage to “Boots” off his seventh studio album About a Woman with fireworks and a stadium of fans on their feet. Backed by an impressive eight-piece band, throughout the night, Thomas Rhett kept fans dancing in their seats and the aisles to his biggest hits including “Make Me Wanna,” “T-Shirt” and “Beautiful As You” as well as swaying with their someone special under intimate string lights to “Remember You Young,” “Unforgettable” and current Top 10 “After All the Bars are Closed.” Rhett asked Swims to return to the stage for their duet “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Woman,” which was also recognized for being certified gold by the RIAA earlier in the day, and closed out the night with his newly RIAA diamond-certified fan-favorite “Die A Happy Man.”

RIAA Chairman & CEO Mitch Glazier surprised Rhett on the field with a crystal statuette and plaque for “Die A Happy Man,” which has officially been certified diamond by the RIAA, celebrating ten million units sold and becoming only the 15th country song to reach its status. The 2015 record-breaking No. 1 hit song from his second studio album Tangled Up has become one of country music’s most enduring modern love songs, earning six major award wins, including ACM, CMA, and Billboard honors and a Grammy nomination for Best Country Song. Additionally, “It Goes Like This” and “Get Me Some of That” were certified quadruple platinum while “Make Me Wanna” and “T-Shirt” have been certified triple platinum for a total of 59 million career RIAA-certified units.

Saturday’s performance came just one day after Thomas Rhett dropped About A Woman (& A Good Ol’ Boy), the second installment of new summer music. Featuring playful, soul-drenched and freeform country, the release includes “Ain’t a Bad Life” featuring Jordan Davis, the honky-tonk throwback “Old Tricks” featuring Blake Shelton, and the stomping sing-along “Bottle With Your Name On It.” The full slate of summer drops is part of Thomas Rhett’s promise to keep releasing music throughout the season, with more expected in the coming months.

The new music joins the album’s current Top 10 single “After All The Bars Are Closed,” which continues to climb the country radio charts. On the road, his Better in Boots Tour will continue lighting up amphitheaters and arenas across the country through early fall, including a return to Fontainebleau Las Vegas for two nights in October.

Ian Munsick Returns Home to Headline Cheyenne Frontier Days with Family, Fans, and Full-Circle Moments

A native son of Sheridan, Wyoming, Ian Munsick returned home Saturday night (July 18th), for his ultimate bucket list moment: headlining the “Daddy of ‘em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Country star Travis Tritt took the stage before Munsick, in a full-circle moment which Munsick reflected on in an interview with CBS News, “He was the first country star to really embrace me, so for me to be able to ask him to come and play on the biggest stage in Wyoming… that’s going to be a huge honor.”

When Munsick moved to Nashville to pursue music at 18, he carried the Western influences with him, curating a unique country sound. For a set playing the largest stage in Wyoming, this career-long pursuit of representing the West culminated in a 22-song setlist that served as an homage to the place that made his dream possible.

Munsick kickstarted the evening with his 2021 release “I See Country,” which has become a fan-favorite at line dance halls in the years since its release – and the rowdy “Barn Burner” off his sophomore album, White Buffalo.

Introducing his ode to Cheyenne Frontier Days, “Cheyenne,” Munsick reflected on his homecoming, stating, “I wrote this song about a year ago, manifesting the moment that’s happening right now.”

As the evening progressed, fans enthusiastically line danced and boot stomped along to each song, with one couple pausing during faith-based love song “More Than Me” for a proposal.

Towards the end of his set, Munsick shared the stage with another Wyoming native, Ryan Charles, for the song that popularized his Belt Buckle Shuffle dance move, “Cowboy Killer.” The curtains closed with one more ode to his homeland, “Mountain Time,” leaving fans demanding more, not quite ready to let Munsick leave the Rockies just yet.

Luckily for them, Munsick had one more special moment up his sleeve, welcoming his dad, Dave, and his brother, Sam, on stage, reunited as The Munsick Boys. Singing “Prairie Lament i” and a cover of Chris LeDoux’s “Rodeo Moon,” the trio gave the crowd a glimpse of the beginning of Munsick’s career – performing as a family once again under the Cheyenne skies, just as he did as a kid.

ABBA’s iconic 1979 hit “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” has officially surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, marking the group’s second track to enter Spotify’s coveted Billions Club after “Dancing Queen” in 2023.

More than 40 years after its release, “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” is finding new life with a new generation of Gen Z listeners, who have accounted for 50 percent of the 11 million discoveries of ABBA on Spotify in 2025. Gen Z also makes up half of ABBA’s global audience on Spotify.

Streams of ABBA have increased 150 percent on Spotify globally over the past five years, with their music featured in nearly 130 million user-generated playlists.

The song, written by the group’s Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, was released on October 12, 1979, as the sole single from their album Greatest Hits Vol. 2. It was also later included in reissues of their sixth studio album, Voulez-Vous.

The song tells the story of a lonely woman longing for a romantic connection. The narrator describes being alone at night, watching TV, and feeling depressed by the gloom outside. She yearns for “a man after midnight” to “chase the shadows away,” seeking a romantic relationship to escape her solitude. It reflects a desire for companionship and highlights the stark contrast between her lonely existence and the happy endings depicted for movie stars.

The song’s disco sound was reportedly inspired by Donna Summer’s hit “Hot Stuff,” released in 1979.

The song topped the charts in several countries across Europe and Australia, gaining significant popularity in Japan.
