Goose Shares Immersive “Burn The Witch” Cover From Sold-Out Goosemas XII

0

Goose has released a pro-shot video of their debut cover of Radiohead’s “Burn The Witch,” a highlight from the first night of their sold-out Goosemas XII celebration at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, RI. This performance was part of a meticulously crafted two-night residency titled “Barnaby Glimpse’s Show Upon Time,” a narrative-driven production that transformed the arena into the fictional, colonial-era town of Lovering’s Hollow. Night one focused on a surreal “dark carnival” theme, featuring period-inspired attire, animal-themed puppetry, and woodwind textures from frequent collaborator Stuart Bogie. The tension-filled Radiohead cover served as a centerpiece for the second set, fitting perfectly into the production’s shadowy atmosphere before dissolving into expansive improvisations on fan favorites like “Madhuvan” and “Dripfield.”

The residency concluded on night two with a shift toward musical collaboration and resolution, highlighted by the debut of the traditional ballad “Wild Mountain Thyme” featuring the Providence College Choir. The band continued to push their sonic boundaries with help from a full horn section, delivering explosive renditions of The Band’s “Life Is A Carnival” and an expansive “Hot Tea” that featured a psytrance-inspired interlude from bassist Trevor Weekz as DJ Marb Menthols. From the theatrical staging and high-wire aerialists to the inclusion of rare tracks like “Strange Overtones” and “Wysteria Lane,” Goosemas XII stood as a cohesive artistic statement. The weekend served as a career-defining celebration of improvisational risk, proving the band’s ability to curate immersive, large-scale musical events while maintaining the technical precision that has fueled their rapid ascent.

Brain Leak Complete Debut ‘Put Back Together’ EP With New Single “Save Me”

0

Manchester’s emergent nu-riot grrrl supergroup Brain Leak has officially closed their first bracing chapter with the release of the “Save Me” single, completing their debut ‘Put Back Together’ EP. Centered on the raw, complex introspections of songwriter Tara-Gabriella Engelhardt, the collection was forged during a volatile period of early sobriety and self-reckoning. The EP features an “all-star” assembly of the UK’s alternative scene, including members of Working Men’s Club, Peaness, The Orielles, and Blanketman. Following the critical success of their breakout single “Trying,” which earned rotation on BBC 6 Music and Radio X, this project marks Brain Leak’s arrival as one of the most vital new acts of 2025, blending bone-bearing vulnerability with explosive, atmospheric rock.

The production of ‘Put Back Together’ was an intentionally fragmented journey, with each track shaped by a different collaborator to explore various sonic corners. The latest single, “Save Me,” was produced by Henry Wade of The Orielles, while the EP’s closing title track features a powerful partnership with BC Camplight’s Brian Christinzio, whose sweeping arrangements and string sections provide a haunted, spiralling release. From the alt-rock intensity of “Something Skin” to the secluded GarageBand origins of “Hide,” the EP serves as a “Frankenstein production” that mirrors Engelhardt’s own path of dismantling and rebuilding. It is a defiant study in survival and artistic growth, signaling the beginning of a band that has learned to transform panic and melancholy into a cohesive, commanding sound.

The Speaker Wars Spark Holiday Joy With New Single “Brighten The Corner”

Texas-based rock outfit The Speaker Wars, featuring the powerhouse collaboration of legendary drummer Stan Lynch and singer-songwriter Jon Christopher Davis, has released a new holiday anthem titled “Brighten The Corner.” Accompanied by a festive official visualizer, the track captures the soulful and peaceful spirit of the season that has become a hallmark of the band’s Americana-infused rock sound. To celebrate the release, the band is offering a special holiday incentive through the Frontiers US webstore, where fans purchasing their self-titled debut album will receive a free download of the single and an exclusive Christmas card signed by Lynch himself. This seasonal offering serves as a heartfelt thank you to their growing fanbase, blending the veteran craftsmanship of a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer with the timeless songwriting that defines the band’s identity.\

Greylan James Concludes The “Water At A Wedding” Saga With New Single “Hold It Down (The After Demo)”

0

ACM Award-winning singer-songwriter Greylan James has officially closed the book on his viral storytelling series with the release of “Hold It Down (The After Demo)” via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. Co-written with Blake Pendergrass, the track serves as the final emotional thread in the narrative arc that began this summer with the radio hit “Water At A Wedding.” While the original single introduced an uneasy bride and a hidden secret, the subsequent releases “Give Me A Second (The Before)” and “Pullin’ From A Bottle” filled in the gaps of a relationship’s turbulent final days and late-night regrets. “Hold It Down (The After Demo)” brings the journey full circle, capturing a sense of enduring loyalty and providing a definitive resolution to the drama that has captivated fans across social media and country radio. With this chapter finished, the Knoxville native is already signaling a massive 2026, promising a new wave of music and live shows on the horizon.

Pink Floyd Celebrate 50th Anniversary Of ‘Wish You Were Here’ With Massive Reissue

0

Pink Floyd has officially released the 50th-anniversary edition of their era-defining masterpiece, ‘Wish You Were Here’, via Sony Music. This comprehensive reissue offers an immersive look into the band’s eighth studio album, featuring a new Dolby Atmos mix by James Guthrie and a treasure trove of rarities. At the heart of the collection are six previously unreleased studio demos and alternate versions, alongside 16 live recordings from the band’s 1975 Los Angeles Sports Arena performance—meticulously restored by Steven Wilson from the legendary Mike Millard bootlegs. The release has already garnered five-star acclaim, with critics hailing it as the most humanistic entry in the rock canon and a timeless reflection on absence and the music industry.

The anniversary is marked by a multi-disciplinary creative surge, including an epic tribute poem titled “Dear Pink Floyd” by UK Poet Laureate Simon Armitage and a series of commissioned paintings by Noel Fielding honoring the legacy of Syd Barrett. To further engage the global fanbase, four-day pop-up shops have launched today in London, Barcelona, Los Angeles, and Paris in collaboration with News & Coffee Studio. These kiosks offer exclusive, numbered editions of the revived ‘Brain Damage’ fanzine and limited commemorative merchandise, allowing fans to step physically into the visual world of the album.

Available in various formats including a 3LP set, 2CD, and a massive Deluxe Box Set, the collection is designed to be the definitive document of this mid-70s peak. The Deluxe version features the album on exclusive clear vinyl, the ‘Live At Wembley 1974’ performance, and a Blu-ray containing restored concert screen films and a Storm Thorgerson short film. From the soaring movements of “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” to the biting critique of “Have A Cigar,” this 50th-anniversary release ensures that the emotional weight and sonic innovation of ‘Wish You Were Here’ remain as relevant today as they were a half-century ago.

Hard Rock Supergroup Armageddon Celebrate 50th Anniversary With Limited Edition Vinyl

0

Cult hard-rock supergroup Armageddon is celebrating the 50th anniversary of their 1975 self-titled debut with a special limited edition reissue via Deko Entertainment. Originally formed in 1974, the band featured an incredible pedigree of musicians, including Yardbirds vocalist Keith Relf, Captain Beyond drummer Bobby Caldwell, and Steamhammer members Martin Pugh and Louis Cennamo. This anniversary edition has been meticulously remastered and repackaged in a high-quality gatefold sleeve on 180g “Atomic Red” vinyl, limited to just 500 copies worldwide. To mark the milestone, a special bundle of 100 copies includes a 10×10 print signed by the three surviving members—Caldwell, Cennamo, and Pugh—offering fans a rare connection to the legendary 1975 sessions. With a tracklist that blends blues-rock, progressive arrangements, and heavy riffs, ‘Armageddon’ remains a pivotal “lost classic” that showcases the band’s undeniable chemistry and technical prowess before Relf’s tragic passing in 1976.

Toys That Kill Announce First New Album In A Decade ‘Triple Sabotage’

0

San Pedro punk legends Toys That Kill are officially returning with ‘Triple Sabotage’, their first full-length studio album in ten years, set for release on February 20, 2026, via Recess Records. Born from the ashes of the seminal hardcore outfit F.Y.P, the band—featuring Todd Congelliere, Sean Cole, Chachi Ferrara, and Jimmy Felix—continues to master the “TTK thump,” a heavy, heart-stopping rhythm that grounds their signature blend of melodic pop-punk. The twelve-track collection includes the recently released singles “The Cutting Board” and “Backwash Me The Antidote,” two-minute “boppers” that prove the quartet hasn’t lost the raw energy or pitch-dark humor that defined their previous efforts like ‘Sentimental Ward’. Drawing from a rich lineage of influences ranging from The Replacements to The Buzzcocks, ‘Triple Sabotage’ finds the band deconstructing rock ‘n’ roll pretension into its simplest, most vital elements: energy, guitar, and heart.
