Seven years ago, Saya Gray quietly held down the low end for Daniel Caesar at his now-iconic Tiny Desk. Now, she returns front and center—rewriting the script with dreamy, deconstructed versions of her genre-defying songs. A sonic alchemist raised by a music school founder and a Berklee-trained jazz trumpeter, Gray is reinventing the game.
Gavin Adcock Announces New Album ‘Own Worst Enemy,’ Out August 15
Country music’s riveting artist Gavin Adcock concludes his major-label debut album cycle in the only way that the buzzworthy singer-songwriter knows how; by announcing the release date for his brand-new album, Own Worst Enemy, set to release August 15th. Adcock’s ever-growing mass of fans will be happy to know that they can now pre-save and pre-add Own Worst Enemy HERE.
To coincide with the album announcement, Adcock has released a new song from the forthcoming project, “Last One To Know,” written by Adcock, Jack Rauton, Erik Dylan, and Luke Laird, is available today. In addition to “Last One To Know,” Adcock’s songs “Loose Strings,” “Need To,” “Unlucky Strikes,” “Never Call Again,” “On One,” “Almost Gone” (feat. Vincent Mason), and “Morning Bail” are listed among the 24 songs that comprise Own Worst Enemy. Full track listing to be announced at a later date.
Adcock’s upcoming, August 15th, album will release just over a year after his thunderous album Actin’ Up Again (August 2, 2024) released worldwide and subsequently was crowned the largest major-label country debut from a solo male artist released in 2024, with more than 15 million on-demand U.S. streams the week of release. Collectively, Adcock’s releases thus far have pushed the rebel-rouser over the BILLION global streams mark on top of receiving a surprise on-stage during CMA Music Fest 2025 (June 6th) with four RIAA certification plaques: “A Cigarette” (PLATINUM), “Run Your Mouth” (GOLD), “Deep End” (GOLD), and “Four Leaf Clover” (GOLD), marking a major milestone in his breakout career.
Throughout the meteoric year in between both of Adcock’s albums, the Georgia native has won over the hearts of both Country music fans and the Country music industry alike. This past spring Adcock was nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at the 60th ACM Awards, in addition to selling out music venues from coast-to-coast via multiple headline tours such as the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Gavin Adcock, his Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour, and at present his Need To Tour, which kicked off in May. Adcock will also join superstar Morgan Wallen for select dates on Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour this summer.
Gavin Adcock is a Georgia native born and raised in Watkinsville. Former Georgia Southern University football player, Gavin grew up working on his family cattle farm and dreamed of riding bulls in the PBR. He started writing songs in high school, but it wasn’t until the spring of 2021, when Adcock tore his knee playing football, that he used his healing time to record and release his first original single. Since then, Gavin has released multiple singles, collectively amassing over 1 billion global streams including the fan-favorite, RIAA PLATINUM-certified, “A Cigarette,” GOLD-certified songs “Run Your Mouth,” “Deep End,” and “Four Leaf Clover,” along with his major label debut album, Actin’ Up Again, which was crowned the largest major-label country debut from a solo male artist released in 2024. With more than 15 million on-demand U.S. streams week of release, Actin’ Up Again was also 2024’s top streaming major-label debut across the whole genre. One year after his thunderous album Actin’ Up Again released worldwide, Adcock is set to release his next album, Own Worst Enemy, on August 15, 2025. Throughout the meteoric year from Actin’ Up Again (2024) to Own Worst Enemy (2025), the Georgia native has won over the hearts of both Country music fans and the Country music industry alike. In the spring of 2025 Adcock received his first industry voted award nomination for New Male Artist of the Year at the 60th ACM Awards, in addition to selling out music venues from coast-to-coast via multiple headline tours such as the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Gavin Adcock, his Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour, and at present his Need To Tour, which kicked off in May 2025. Adcock will also join superstar Morgan Wallen for select dates on Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour this summer in addition to a plethora of new headline dates being added, as well as major festival appearances, throughout the rest of 2025.
Foo Fighters Unveil Hopeful Rock Anthem “Today’s Song”
Foo Fighters mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s classic 1995 debut with the opening salvo of its next chapter: “Today’s Song,” the first taste of new Foo Fighters music since 2023’s universally acclaimed But Here We Are, is now available across digital platforms.
An indelible anthem in the time-honored Foo Fighters tradition, “Today’s Song” bristles with unbridled optimism from its subtle melodic intro through the peaks of its soaring crescendos. With lyrical themes of personal evolution and perseverance in the face of life’s uncertainty and the passage of time, “Today’s Song” is nothing short of a three-minute-fifteen-second epic.
In a note to fans that posted today, Dave Grohl wrote, “Over the years, we’ve had moments of unbridled joy, and moments of devastating heartbreak. Moments of beautiful victory, and moments of painful defeat. We have mended broken bones and broken hearts. But we have followed this road together, with each other, for each other, no matter what. Because in life, you just can’t go it alone.
It should go without saying that without the boundless energy of William Goldsmith, the seasoned wisdom of Franz Stahl, and the thunderous wizardry of Josh Freese, this story would be incomplete, so we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the time, music, and memories that we shared with each of them over the years. Thank you, gentlemen.
And… Taylor. Your name is spoken every day, sometimes with tears, sometimes with a smile, but you are still in everything we do, everywhere we go, forever. The enormity of your beautiful soul is only rivaled by the infinite longing we feel in your absence. We all miss you beyond words. Foo Fighters will forever include Taylor Hawkins in every note that we play, until we do finally reach our destination.”

Foo Fighters are Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee.

Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Morrison Release Stripped-Down “Gods of Rock N Roll”
Billy Morrison and Ozzy Osbourne released a stripped-down version of their epic track “Gods of Rock N Roll” on July 1st across all streaming platforms, with a special vinyl limited edition double A side that features both versions of the song available July 4th via TLG|ZOID, distributed by Virgin Music Group.
Earlier this year, the powerful orchestral version became a Top 10 Rock Radio hit, and now fans will experience the song in a whole new light with a stripped-down version that showcases Ozzy like never before.
Produced and reworked by Billy Morrison, this version removes the guitars and drums, and adds a bass track from Chris Chaney, allowing Ozzy’s unmistakable vocals to take center stage. The track features Fred Coury’s masterful orchestration and a hauntingly beautiful acoustic guitar solo by Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), bringing new emotional depth to the already iconic song.
Richard Ashcroft Announces New Album ‘Lovin’ You’ Ahead of Oasis Tour
Ahead of joining Oasis as a special guest on their EU/UK tour, Richard Ashcroft announces his forthcoming new album Lovin’ You due October 3rd. The announcement follows his most recent offering “Lover,” which interpolates Joan Armatrading’s classic “Love And Affection,” and finds Richard at the peak of his powers.
Not only did “Lover” earn the praise of the legendary songwriter herself, who said, “I love how [Richard] used my song and I love his song,” but it also sets the standard for an album that will encapsulate the many facets of his sound. Co-produced with Chris Potter and Emre Ramazanoglu, with additional production credits from Mirwais of Madonna fame on the album track “I’m A Rebel,” he dives into his classic string-soaked acoustic balladry and anthemic indie-rock, through to flashes of Americana and soul. Its themes are intimate and personal, dominated by love, romance and affecting messages of support for those struggling with life’s challenges.
Alongside a digital release, the album will be available for purchase in the form of a standard black and exclusive vinyl variants on his official store, Amazon UK and select independent stores.
A two-time Ivor Novello Award winner (Songwriter of the Year and Outstanding Contribution To British Music), Richard Ashcroft has become one of the most accomplished and influential songwriters around over the course of a career that spans three decades. His first chapter with The Verve reached a remarkable peak with Urban Hymns, a hit-laden set (“Bitter Sweet Symphony,” “The Drugs Don’t Work,” “Lucky Man,” “Sonnet”) which is one of the biggest selling albums in UK history with 11 x Platinum certifications. The band achieved a second #1 album with Forth and won three BRIT Awards.
His solo career continued that acclaim with his debut Alone With Everybody shooting to #1 and all five subsequent studio albums landing between #2 and #5. Between The Verve and his solo work, he has achieved three UK #1 albums and another five Top 10 records, plus a #1 single and five Top 10 hits.
He now prepares to join the Gallagher brothers on their highly anticipated tour this Friday, a nod to both Richard Ashcroft and Oasis’ mutual admiration that dates back to touring together before Oasis first broke through. Noel dedicated “Cast No Shadow” from (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? to Richard, before Richard provided backing vocals on All Around The World from 1997’s Be Here Now. In 2021 Liam featured on a reworked version of Richard’s “C’mon People (We’re Making It Now).”
