Miley Cyrus Dazzles in Paris for Spotify’s Billions Club Live

0

On Wednesday, Spotify and Miley Cyrus tangoed in Paris during an unforgettable evening: the latest installment of Billions Club Live. The global superstar took the stage for an exclusive performance for her top Spotify Premium listeners in the area, delivering a set packed with some of her most iconic tracks—many of which have surpassed a billion streams on our platform.

Paris was a fitting choice for this one-off event: France consistently ranks among Miley’s top 10 countries for streaming—alongside Brazil, the U.K., and Indonesia. The performance marked Miley’s first concert in the French capital in 11 years, following her Bangerz tour in 2014. Just over 100 fans filled the iconic Maxim’s venue in the heart of the city.

The star opened with “Flowers,” the fastest song ever to reach a billion streams on Spotify. From there, she showcased more iconic tracks from the Billions Club, including “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” “Wrecking Ball,” “Angels Like You,” and “The Climb,” which she fused with “We Can’t Stop” for a special medley. She also performed tracks from her new album, Something Beautiful.

While her most dedicated Parisians fans were treated to live renditions of her megahits, fans everywhere will get to experience the show for themselves when Billions Club Live with Miley Cyrus: A Concert Film premieres on Spotify later this summer. The film will include the full Paris performance and behind-the-scenes moments, offering fans everywhere a deeper look at Miley’s artistry and music.

Last November, Miley reflected on her streaming milestones in a special episode of Billions Club: The Series. Joined by her sister Brandi, she shared stories behind her record-breaking hits and what they mean to her career.

As Spotify continues to invest in video and artist-driven experiences, Billions Club Live stands as a testament to the power of music to unite fans across the globe. Stay tuned for the premiere of Miley’s concert film—coming soon, only on Spotify.

Muse Return With Haunting Rock Anthem “Unravelling”

0

Muse make an eagerly awaited return with their brand new single “Unravelling” – their first new music since 2022’s critically acclaimed album Will Of The People. Teasers for the track sparked intense online speculation before the band debuted the song at their intimate warm-up show at the House of Culture in Helsinki. It then received a rapturous reception when it was introduced to a 50,000-strong audience during their headline set at Finland’s Rockfest, June 14, 2025.

Released via Warner Records, “Unravelling” puts a new spin on the genre-clash creativity that has become a hallmark of the Muse experience. Haunting, arpeggiated synths establish a foreboding tone before it suddenly detonates into a colossal wall of barbed riffs and unleashing a full-drama hook that pulsates with their renowned maximalist theatricality.

The track was produced by the multiple GRAMMY nominee Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Blink-182), who also performs keyboards and additional guitar in the Muse live band.

“Unravelling” is sure to be a highlight as Muse’s select international summer festival touring continues with headline performances at Hellfest, Pinkpop, Tons of Rock, STHLM Fields and Open’er Festival.

International Festival Dates:
June 20th – France, Hellfest
June 22nd – The Netherlands, Pinkpop
June 25th – Norway, Tons of Rock
June 27th – Sweden, STHLM Fields
July 4th – Poland, Open’er Festival
July 10th – Spain, Mad Cool Festival
July 12th – Portugal, NOS Alive

I Prevail Unleashes Crushing New Rock Anthem “Into Hell”

0

Grammy-nominated rock band I Prevail releases the new single “Into Hell” via Fearless Records. The track premiered on SiriusXM Octane yesterday, and today they release an enthralling and cinematic music video to accompany it.

Blending haunting melodies with raw emotion and crushing intensity, “Into Hell” is a steadfast anthem that showcases the band’s evolving sound. The track takes listeners on a darker, more melodic descent than their latest single “Violent Nature.” Singer Eric Vanlerberghe brings his vulnerable yet haunting harmonies to the song that are impossible to ignore.

Frontman Eric Vanlerberghe shared his thoughts on the track saying, “This song is about loving someone through their lows and struggles. Being there to take their burdens. Loving them through everything because that’s what they do for you.”

I Prevail is no stranger to pushing boundaries. This group has found great success with previous records over the past decade including their first album Lifelines that achieved gold status in both the US and Canada. 2019’s TRAUMA repeated that accomplishment in Canada just a few years later and was nominated for Best Rock Album at that year’s Grammys, with their single “Bow Down” also a contender for Best Metal Performance. 2022’s TRUE POWER saw the band continue to forge their own musical path, refusing to conform to the expectations of the genre, and instead demonstrating just how much of a tour de force I Prevail’s music is.

Now with the release of “Into Hell” and “Violent Nature,” the band embarks on a new chapter. They are on a mission to redefine heavy music on their own terms and remind the world why they are one of the most vital forces in modern metal.

You can catch the band on tour this summer as part of the Summer of Loud tour hitting cities across North America. It kicks off tomorrow, June 21 in West Palm Beach, FL and they will be visiting cities such as Dallas, San Diego, Toronto, Denver, and more, before wrapping on July 27 in Charlotte, NC.

Megan Moroney Blazes Back With Fiery Post-Breakup Anthem “6 Months Later”

0

Megan Moroney fast forwards to “6 Months Later.” With her fiery new song, the Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records singer/songwriter sets the scene for the hottest song of the summer.

Written by Moroney, Ben Williams, David “Messy” Mescon, and Rob Hatch, “6 Months Later” marks one of the MULTI-PLATINUM hitmaker’s first new songs since the arrival of her massively acclaimed sophomore album Am I Okay? – a Billboard 200 Top 10 smash whose PLATINUM-certified title track recently hit No. 1 on Country radio, dominating the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart. In a winning glimpse at Am I Okay?’s highly awaited follow-up, “6 Months Later” finds Moroney at the top of her game as she delivers a brilliantly upbeat post-breakup anthem built on her signature mix of breezy humor and soul-baring emotion.

Produced by her longtime collaborator Kristian Bush – who also handled production on Am I Okay? and Moroney’s 2023 debut album Lucky, featuring her 3X PLATINUM breakthrough single “Tennessee Orange” – “6 Months Later” kicks off with a bang as Moroney dishes the details on a devastating heartbreak: “Let me set you the scene/November circa 2019/Put a hole in my heart, watched it bleed/You said that we were better off as strangers/I was barely alive/Out of 6 feet deep, I was 5.” With its swinging rhythms, soulful steel guitar, and gorgeously catchy melodies, the track takes a turn at the chorus as her ex suddenly crashes back into her life: “It’s a tale as old as time, I guess/When you couldn’t care more, I couldn’t care less/You’re a little too late to the party, heartbreaker/What doesn’t kill you calls you 6 months later.” Recorded at Blackbird Studios with an A-list lineup of musicians, “6 Months Later” amps up the triumphant energy at the bridge, with Moroney offering undeniable proof that living well is the best revenge: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger/And blonder and hotter/Makes you wonder what you even saw in him at all.”

Since last July’s release of Am I Okay? (the year’s third-biggest Billboard 200 debut from a female Country artist), Moroney has ascended to a rare level of stardom that includes gracing the cover of Rolling Stone (who hailed her as “The Gen Z Country Queen We Need”), landing profiles in the print editions of elite publications like The New Yorker, and receiving the Rulebreaker Award at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event. With over 3 BILLION total global streams across all platforms, she’s soaring up the charts again with her current single at Country radio “You Had To Be There” (a collaboration with Country legend Kenny Chesney, who enlisted Moroney as support for his stadium-filling SUN GOES DOWN 2024 TOUR). Despite her nonstop schedule, Moroney recently delighted her legion of fans by revealing to PEOPLE that “the next album is probably like 80% written.”

Fresh off her appearance at CMA Fest (where her set at the Chevy Riverfront Stage hit capacity in just two minutes due to a half-mile-long line of fans), Moroney continues her blockbuster AM I OKAY? TOUR tonight with a sold-out show at Stage AE Outdoors in Pittsburgh. With dates scheduled through October 12 at the Texas Trust CU Theatre in Dallas, the 50-date headline run includes two-night stands at famed spots like Roadrunner in Boston (August 1 and 2) and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles (October 2 and 3) as well as stops at iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado (September 30). In addition, Moroney will perform at many of this summer’s biggest festivals, including Buckeye Country Superfest (June 21), Cowboys Music Festival 2025 (July 4), and Windy City Smokeout (July 12). Ryan And Rory Revive Lost Country Classic With Jamey Johnson On “Together Again”

0

Ryan and Rory breathe new life into a long-lost country gem with their latest release, “Together Again (feat. Jamey Johnson),” out now. Originally written decades ago by Ryan’s father, Keith Follese, alongside Jamey Johnson and legendary WSIX radio personality Gerry House, the song never found a home-until now.

Ryan first heard “Together Again” as a teenager, played live at the family kitchen table by his father and Johnson. “It was one of those songs that just stopped me in my tracks,” he recalls. “It was pure country with a storyline that hit different.” Though it was briefly held for Alan Jackson, the track fell through the cracks-until a conversation with Sony Music Publishing’s Tom Luteran reignited its journey.

Within 48 hours, the wheels were in motion. Jamey immediately signed on, telling Keith over lunch, “I’ll do anything for your boy.” Recorded in January 2024 at Ocean Way Studios and produced by Dann Huff, the track marks the first-ever collaboration between Huff and Johnson. The result is a cinematic moment in country music, brought to life by one of the genre’s most exciting new duos, a revered outlaw, and a legendary producer.

“They say Nashville is a storyteller town-and this one hits close to home,” says Ryan. “It’s about legacy, timing, and how a song can come full circle when the time is right.”

Fans will get to witness the moment live when Ryan and Rory return to the Grand Ole Opry stage on July 13. Named a SiriusXM The Highway “Highway Find,” “Ryan and Rory are primed to become the next major male duo in country music” (Music Mayhem). The duo recently wrapped dates with Brett Young, Sam Hunt and Jamey Johnson and have been delivering a series of new releases for their fans throughout 2025, including the fueled up anthem “Truck Stop” that has recently gained accelerated traction online as Ryan and Rory fans have discovered Ryan’s Hot Chelle Rae hits.

Vic Mensa Drops Powerful New Single “The Word” Featuring Mick Jenkins Ahead of Independent Project ‘Sundiata’

0

Vic Mensa is a generational voice who’s ready to disrupt the status quo. Today, the multi-platinum selling musician, actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist delivers a track that is as thought-provoking as it is sonically infectious, titled “the word” featuring Mick Jenkins out now exclusively through EVEN. It is a deeply poetic single, one that unfurls through intentional storytelling and heralds the arrival of sundiata – the Chicago native’s first project as an independent artist, due June 19.

“sundiata is a statement of independence,” Mensa says. “it’s the first time in 10 years i’ve owned my own music. it is a collection of ideas, wits & wisdoms fashioned by the fire of personal struggle. the name is derived from sundiata keita, the 13th century founder of the mali empire in west africa & the predecessor to mansa musa. thematically it explores freedom, spirituality, love, violence, peace & aggression. i produced these records with my frequent collaborator stefan ponce, and recorded most things myself.”

He continues, “this project is truly independent, there’s no distributor, no machine behind it… just passion and vision. it’s not rolling out on streaming, it is only available directly from me. i had the idea to make this project and to release it in this grassroots way while meditating on lsd in my backyard, thinking about the inequities in the music industry and imagining another way. i have the utmost love and respect for everyone who appreciates me enough to join me on this journey.”

Mensa’s new single “the word” is emblematic of his natural talent for crafting music that will continue to resonate with fans for years to come. It offers an unfiltered look into his life – reflecting on the drawbacks of being a signed artist, his African heritage, and embracing fatherhood. The accompanying video, which Mensa directed, elucidates the many reasons why he chose to pursue a path as an independent artist after spending years signed to a record label. He stands as a constant reminder of the importance of fighting for a liberated future, even if all odds are stacked against you.

This adds an exclamation point to a whirlwind of a year for the newly independent emcee. During the first quarter, Mensa celebrated a career milestone as a featured artist on Omari Hardwick’s 2024 entry, cOncrete & wHiskey Act II Part 1: A Bourbon 30 Series – which was nominated for Best Spoken Word Poetry Album at the 2025 Grammys.

Beyond the music, Mensa’s influence transcends into the film and television world with a recurring appearance on the Showtime original drama series The Chi. The new season, which premiered back in May, includes exciting storylines for “Jamal” – the character Mensa portrays on the show. He’s also become a familiar face for fans on the popular Peacock series Bel-Air, which is returning for its fourth and final season.

As Vic Mensa enters 2025 with renewed vigor and inspiration, he has proven to be a catalyst for the creative community, constantly reflecting his evolution as an artist. This phase of his career is symbolic of a relentless pursuit to be intentional, which is clearly evident on his newest single.

Leo P Of Too Many Zooz Shreds a Contrabass Beast Inside London’s SAX Shop

0

Pop into SAX in London and you might just catch a musical miracle. Leo P of Too Many Zooz recently rocked up and made mincemeat of a Benedikt Eppelsheim Contrabass Saxophone—an instrument that looks like it could devour him whole. What followed was six minutes of bold brass wizardry, swagger, and the kind of low-end growl you feel in your chest. Utter madness. Utter joy.
