Fcukers Announce Debut Album ‘Ö’ Produced By Kenneth Blume Arriving In March

Fcukers announced their debut album ‘Ö’ arriving March 27th through Ninja Tune, produced by Kenneth Blume and mixed by multi-Grammy-winning engineer Tom Norris. Dylan Brady of 100 Gecs contributed additional production across three tracks on the record, which was captured during a whirlwind two-week studio session last year. The duo of Shanny Wise on vocals and Jackson Walker Lewis on bass, keys, and production shared new single “L.U.C.K.Y.” alongside the announcement, following breakout tracks “Play Me” and “I Like It Like That.” The 11-track album guides listeners through all the highs and lows of a metaphorical night out in Fcukers world, demonstrating the sharp, muscular peak-time party energy they’ve honed throughout their short existence. After playing over 100 shows around the world this past year, including US arena shows with Tame Impala (where Kevin Parker gave them multiple glowing shout-outs and Billie Eilish sought them out backstage) and an Australian stadium show with Dom Dolla, the New York duo has earned their status as go-to party starters.

Fcukers sold out both NYC and LA headline legs in recent months, with Beck joining them for a surprise appearance on stage in LA, and played to sold-out crowds across Europe and the UK, including three back-to-back nights in London that had thousands of fans on the waiting list. The band takes the stage at NYC’s Governors Ball in June alongside A$AP Rocky and Lorde before embarking on a North American headlining tour. Presales start today, with the general sale on Friday, January 16th at 10 am local time.

Deathcrash Chart Growth And Acceptance On Third Album ‘Somersaults’

Deathcrash will release their third album ‘Somersaults’ on February 27th, documenting a shift from adolescent fatalism to something more grounded and sustainable. The London-based slowcore quartet of Noah Bennett, Patrick Fitzgerald, Matthew Weinberger, and Tiernan Banks recorded the album over four days at Black Box studio in the Loire Valley, bringing a newfound joy beneath the surface of their characteristic anxieties. The title track opens the record with chiming guitars building to an intoxicating refrain of “this is shy town all the way,” capturing the nostalgic optimism that threads through these ten songs. Patrick Fitzgerald shared that “Matt presented to us this beautiful nostalgic song, more or less fully formed, and he’d called it ‘Somersaults’ before the vocals were ever written for it. It became a symbol for the record more or less instantly.” The album’s more vocal-heavy approach resists revelation even as phrases appear half-swallowed, broken off at the edge of meaning, consumed by the smaller textures of living.

Tiernan Banks explained the album’s thematic core: “There is something about this album that’s a reflection on growing up, or a shift from adolescence to adulthood. Adolescence is feeling like you’re gonna live forever, but also that you want to die right now, and they’re basically the same feeling. And then growing up is somewhere much more in the middle. It’s less exciting, but it’s more sustainable.” The band celebrated the release with a show at New York’s Night Club 101 on February 26th before embarking on UK dates in April.

Twenty One Pilots officially launched ticket sales today for their debut concert film titled “Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined”. Brighton quartet congratulations will unveil their first full-length album ‘Join Hands’ on February 13 through Bella Union. This ten-track collection functions as an energetic invitation to embrace indie dance rock and collective movement. To mark the announcement, the group released a new single titled “Dr. Doctor” alongside a DIY video inspired by classic hammer horror films. The track features a manipulated foghorn sample over a heavy breakbeat while vocalist Leah Stanhope delivers melodic lines that eventually shift into funk-heavy guitar work. This song follows the previously released tracks “This Life” and “Fought 4 Love” in the lead-up to the record.

The band heads out on a headline UK tour starting this February with a sold-out hometown show at Alphabet. Brooklyn artist Julian McCamman presents “I’ll Show You Mine” today as the final single from the new Victoryland album ‘My Heart Is A Room With No Cameras In It’. Released via the Good English label, this closing track features airy guitar work and bright synth runs. McCamman describes the song as a final pop egress focused on vulnerability and realizations. This new material follows the success of previous singles “No Cameras” and “Fits” which earned attention from outlets like Stereogum and Paste Magazine for their blend of chaotic vocals and acoustic pop jubilation. The full record is available now across digital platforms and on cassette tape.

Producer Dan Howard worked with McCamman to refine these sprawling experiments at the studio. This collaboration results in a shift toward pop sensibilities compared to the discordant guitars found on the 2024 record ‘Sprain’. The songs on the new album balance commercial choruses with the grit of the Brooklyn DIY scene. Victoryland celebrates the release of the record with a headline performance at Union Pool in Brooklyn on January 29. London Dreampop Trio deary Announce Debut Album ‘Birding’ And Share New Single “Seabird”

London-based three-piece deary announce their debut full-length album ‘Birding’ is due out April 3 via Bella Union. To accompany the news, the band shared their lead single “Seabird” which features layers of echoing guitar chords. “Seabird is like a fable, a story of a person pleading to an omnipotent bird and asking, ‘when does it all get better?’” the band notes regarding the track. This new music follows the group forming during lockdown when Ben Easton and Dottie Cockram bonded over a shared appreciation for Cocteau Twins and Slowdive.

The album title ‘Birding’ refers to the sense of expansion and abandon found within the music while addressing human impact on the natural world. Singer and guitarist Dottie Cockram explains that she found historical stories and poetry where birds represent both hope and different elements of life. “The album is all about human consequences,” says Ben Easton. He mentions that the songs explore effects on mental health, nature, and the vulnerability of our inner selves. This record is a definitive statement for the group as they move beyond their early stages.

Working with longtime collaborator Iggy B, the band took on production duties themselves for the eleven tracks. Drummer Harry Catchpole joined the lineup last year, solidifying the trio as a collaborative unit in the studio. “Our last EP was us trying to be deary,” Easton says, “and this album is us being deary.” The band kicks off a run of UK and EU live shows in April starting at The Lower Third in London. This collection of songs shows exactly how much the band has grown since their 2023 EP ‘Fairground’ surfaced.
