Kameron Marlowe Unveils Coast-to-Coast ‘Seventeen Tour’ With Stops in Canada

0

Fresh off the release of his new single, “Seventeen,” impacting country radio July 14, gale force vocalist and Columbia Nashville singer-songwriter Kameron Marlowe announces today his headline Seventeen Tour.

With support from country upstarts Lauren Watkins and Dalton Davis, the trek goes coast – to Canada – to coast, with festival stops in Virginia and Pennsylvania to headline shows in Charleston, Fayetteville, Calgary, Vancouver, Albuquerque, Los Angeles, and more.

“I am so excited to be back out west and in Canada this fall. The last time we were in Canada, we were out with Thomas Rhett in below freezing temperatures. Now, we are back with new music and hopefully some better weather,” says Marlowe. “We’ve really been looking forward to these shows and I can’t wait to meet y’all soon!”

Tickets for Kameron Marlowe’s headline Seventeen Tour go on-sale this Friday, June 6, at 10 A.M. local time, with select pre-sales launching throughout the week.

On Friday (5/30), Marlowe released the tour’s namesake single, “Seventeen” – a dose of carefree nostalgia with “a catchy hook and killer production that will undoubtedly rip at festivals this summer” (Country Central).

Country Now praises how “Marlowe effortlessly captures the feeling of being young and carefree at 17 years old while exploring a coming-of-age story with a touch of bittersweet realization,” and Entertainment Focus calls out how “Marlowe says this summer is all about fun, and ‘Seventeen’ delivers just that.”

Sabrina Carpenter Drops New Single “Manchild” Ahead of Sold-Out Arena Run

0

Today, two-time GRAMMY Award-winning record-breaking global superstar Sabrina Carpenter ushers in a new chapter with her single “Manchild” via Island Records – listen here. Sabrina wrote “Manchild” alongside her frequent collaborator, Amy Allen and also joined forces once again with Jack Antonoff for the single. Both GRAMMY Award winners, Amy and Jack previously worked with Sabrina on Short n’ Sweet.

This new single and chapter follow a revolutionary year for Sabrina, which saw unparalleled success. Sabrina released her groundbreaking album last August, Short n’ Sweet, which topped the charts worldwide and had one of the biggest global debuts of 2024. Upon release, the album’s opening track, “Taste,” captured #1 on Spotify’s US chart, dethroning Sabrina’s own “Please Please Please” and making it the 3rd song off her album to hit #1. ‘Short n’ Sweet also became the 1st album with 4 Pop Airplay No. 1’s since Taylor Swift. In addition to topping the charts, all three singles off the album, “Espresso” (2.2 billion), “Please Please Please” (1.4 billion), and “Taste” (1 billion) entered the coveted Billions Club on Spotify. The album as a whole garnered Sabrina six GRAMMY nods as a first-time GRAMMY nominee and won two awards for her GRAMMY debut. Sabrina took home the “Best Pop Vocal Album” award for Short n’ Sweet along with “Best Pop Solo Performance” for the album’s lead single, “Espresso.” She also made her debut on the GRAMMY’s stage with a medley of her smash singles “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” Following the GRAMMYs, Sabrina released Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe), which featured five additional songs, including a duet with global icon Dolly Parton on “Please Please Please” and “Busy Woman” which Sabrina debuted live on her sold-out headlining arena tour.

On a global scale, Sabrina made history by becoming the first-ever female artist to occupy the entire top three of the UK Singles Chart, with “Taste,” “Please Please Please,” and “Espresso” holding the top positions concurrently. She also set a new record for the most weeks at #1 by a female artist in a single year on the Official UK Singles Chart, amassing 21 weeks at the top spot. To add to the trend of setting unprecedented milestones, she also became the first international artist to receive the Global Success award at The BRITs.

This fall, Sabrina will return with a second sold-out North American leg for her highly acclaimed Short n’ Sweet Tour, which kicks off October 23rd in Pittsburgh and will hit arenas in New York, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles. Sabrina will have a five-night run at Madison Square Garden in New York and a six-night run at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, where the tour will wrap on November 23rd. The second leg follows the incredibly successful 33-date sold-out North American leg, which wrapped last November, and the sold-out European leg, where additional shows were added in four cities due to demand.

Last month, Sabrina attended her third MET Gala in a custom Louis Vuitton look. She also appeared on SNL earlier this year for their 50th anniversary special, where she sang “Homeward Bound” with Paul Simon and starred in a remake of the fan favorite “Domingo” sketch. Sabrina made her SNL debut as the musical guest for the season finale last May. She recently graced the cover of Vogue US for the first time – see the cover/read the feature here

Two-time GRAMMY award winner, Sabrina Carpenter, has enchanted an audience of millions as a singer, songwriter, actress, and style icon. With her music, she has delivered one anthem after another on stage and in the studio, earning multiple gold and multi-platinum certifications, and performing to sold-out crowds worldwide. On-screen, she has generated mega-fandom through starring roles on television and film. She is signed to Island Records, where she debuted her acclaimed Gold-certified fifth studio album, emails i can’t send, which appeared on many “Best Of 2022” lists, including Rolling Stone and Billboard. The album features her hit single “Feather,” which went #1 at Top 40 Radio, earning Sabrina her first #1. Her sold-out emails i can’t send tour took her to North America, Europe, Asia and Brazil, and she recently served as direct support for Taylor Swift in Latin America, Australia, and Singapore on the Eras Tour. In April, Sabrina made her Coachella debut and was one of the most talked-about artists of the festival. Ahead of her Coachella debut, she released her single “Espresso,” which quickly climbed the charts. Upon release, Pitchfork declared “Espresso” as “in pole position to be this year’s song of the summer,” and The New York Times heralded the single as the song ready to “propel her to the next level”. Since its release, “Espresso” has gone on to reach #1 on the UK & Australian singles charts, Top 5 in the US, and #1 on Spotify globally, where it reached over 200M streams within its first month. Her second single, “Please Please Please,” was released in June and shot straight up to the top of the charts. The single hit #1 on Spotify’s Global and US charts, #1 on Apple Music, and debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 before claiming the #1 spot a week later and went #1 at US Pop Radio. Sabrina made her Saturday Night Live debut in May on the season finale where she performed “Espresso” and “Feather/Nonsense.” In August, she released her highly anticipated sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet. The album was instantly met with an outpouring of critical acclaim from the likes of the New York Times, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Variety, and many more. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, making it the 3rd biggest first week debut in the US in 2024, and became only the second album that year to spend its first three weeks atop the list. Short n’ Sweet also topped the charts around the world, reaching #1 in UK, Canada, Australia, Spain, and France. The album earned Sabrina an impressive six GRAMMY nominations as a first-time nominee. Short n’ Sweet took home the GRAMMY Award for Best Pop Vocal Album and Sabrina also won the “Best Pop Solo Performance” GRAMMY Award for the album’s lead single “Espresso.” She made her debut at the 67th GRAMMY Awards with a captivating performance of “Espresso/Please Please Please.” Last Fall, Sabrina wrapped the 33 date North American leg of her monumental sold-out Short n’ Sweet Tour and recently wrapped the sold-out European leg. Later this year, Sabrina will return for a second North America leg that includes six shows at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and five shows at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Gigi Perez Announces Folk-Pop Tour ‘At The Beach, In Every Life’ With Fall Dates

0

Continuing a banner year earmarked by breakout moments and critical acclaim, Platinum-certified Cuban-American singer, songwriter, and producer Gigi Perez will hit the road this fall on her “At The Beach, In Every Life” Tour. The announcement includes dates in Boston, Philly, Charlotte, Oakland, and will conclude on October 21 in Los Angeles, CA at The Wiltern. Presale tickets and VIP packages go live on Wednesday, June 4 at 10am local time with all tickets going on sale Friday, June 6 at 10am local time. Sign up for early access to presale tickets at https://shop.gigiperezmusic.com/pages/tour

Upholding her commitment to mental health, Gigi has pledged $1 dollar from every ticket sold to support Backline- a non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources.

Perez will be touring in support of her unanimously praised debut album, At The Beach, In Every Life, available now via Island Records. At The Beach, In Every Life has accelerated her rapid rise. Beyond major pieces in Rolling Stone and more, The New York Times recently profiled her in an extensive feature and spotlighted the LP as “a tribute to her lost sister, and an attempt to make sense of a few rudderless years.” Billboard noted the record “finds Perez navigating love, grief, and self-possession.” People spoke to her and raved, “Within the album’s 12 poetic tracks, Perez-who came out as a lesbian at 17- explores her relationship with sexuality, religion, and love with a Jeff Buckley-meets-Alanis Morissette-like flair.” It’s no wonder Holler called her a “folk-leaning prodigy,” and Variety attested, “She’s a versatile and powerful singer,” going on to predict, “With that kind of range in songwriting and sound, it seems Gigi Perez is just getting started.”

These twelve tracks traverse a living and breathing soundscape stitched together by unfaded memories and true confessions of loss, lust, heartbreak, sorrow, anxiety, joy, and, ultimately healing. Among many highlights, upbeat strumming flows through “Sugar Water” with wavy strings and swooning harmonies. Reaching for emotional clarity, she proclaims, “It’s hard to ever feel intact. It’s hard to never want it back.” On “Normalcy,” guitar comes into focus out of the haze as her high register warbles, “I guess it’s been nice hearing from you.”

A pulsating beat evocative of old-school industrial surges on the interlude “Survivor’s Guilt.” Echoes of minor chords boost her vocals during “Please Be Rude.” Bringing the audience into the moment, she recalls, “I stared at you the way I do when I want something else from you.” The title track, “At The Beach, In Every Life,” encapsulates all of these feelings-like tucking away a message in a bottle and waiting for it to find its island. A swinging rhythm seethes, and she promises, “If my dreams come up empty and I wash up on the shore. You would find me at the beach in every life, through every door.”

This passionate, poetic, and powerful body of work opens up her world; holding nothing back, she processes the aftermath of losing her beloved sister, nostalgically recalls her childhood by the beach in Florida, wrestles with faith, belief, and religion, and grows accustomed to love. She not only recorded the album in the cozy confines of her home studio in Royal Palm Beach, but she also served as its Executive Producer, helming the entire vision. Providing a sense of cohesion, real voice memos from Gigi’s late sister Celene thread together the record’s themes and stories.

The buzzing singer-songwriter, a New York/New Jersey native raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, made her debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Sailor Song.” The single made its debut on the chart in August, where it continued to climb for a total of 39 weeks and global streams have surpassed 1 billion. The song has also reached Top 5 on Spotify’s US charts, Top 10 on Spotify’s Global chart, and TOP 5 at AAA Radio.

In less than a year, Gigi is at the forefront of culture on her own terms. Rolling Stone touted her among “2025 Pop Acts to Watch,” asserting, “Gigi Perez is on track to become a household name this year.” Billboard chronicled her rise, placing her among its “10 LGBTQ+ Artists to Watch in 2025,” going on to predict, “Perez is on the precipice of having an even bigger breakthrough in 2025,” while BBC put it best, “And with that ability to reach people in their most vulnerable moments, it won’t be long before Gigi sees her name tattooed on many more arms.” In February, Gigi made her debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC with a stunning rendition of “Sailor Song.” HOLLER. professed, “Gigi Perez’s captivating performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon consolidates her position as one of the most exciting new voices in the folk-pop genre, with the sense of anticipation continuing to sky-rocket…” She also took the TODAY Show stage, leading up to the album release, to perform “Sailor Song” once again.

Impressively now averaging over 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify, inciting tastemaker applause, and selling out shows, it’s just the beginning for Gigi Perez.

Artist presale begins Wednesday, June 4 at 10 A.M. local time with tickets on sale to the public starting Friday, June 6 at 10 A.M. local time. The tour will see Jake performing songs from his highly anticipated debut album, George, set for release on July 11 via 2for2 projects/Mercury Records.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Jake Minch burst onto the scene in 2023 with his hit single “handgun” racking up 1.3 million views on the song’s initial teaser and earning support from the likes of Noah Kahan, Lizzy McAlpine, Zach Bryan, Gracie Abrams, Fletcher and many more. Tony Rice’s 1982 Spacegrass Masterpiece ‘Backwaters’ Gets First-Ever Vinyl Reissue

0

Craft Recordings announces the first-ever vinyl reissue of Backwaters—the acclaimed 1982 album from innovative bluegrass outfit The Tony Rice Unit. Spanning an array of musical styles (dubbed “spacegrass”), Backwaters blends original material (“Backwaters,” “Just Some Bar in the French Quarters”) with acclaimed classics, including “My Favourite Things” and “On Green Dolphin Street.” Arriving September 12th, the LP is pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing with lacquers cut from the original tapes (AAA) by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio. This reissue marks the first time the original analog tapes have been used in the cutting process, as the original pressing was digitally mastered. Fans can also find the album on standard and hi-res digital platforms on June 27. Click here to pre-order and stream the album.

One of the most revered names in bluegrass, Tony Rice (1951–2020) was instrumental in shaping the genre during his lengthy career, while his distinctive touch on the guitar influenced countless others. Born in Virginia and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Rice launched his career in Louisville, KY, where he became the lead vocalist and guitarist of J.D. Crowe’s legendary group The New South. In the mid-’70s, not long after the release of their self-titled bestseller (featuring fellow bluegrass icons Jerry Douglas and Ricky Skaggs), Rice returned to California to join David Grisman’s esteemed quintet.

During his time with the celebrated mandolinist, Rice broadened his musical palate, incorporating jazz, classical and other styles into his repertoire while honing his guitar technique. Those explorations informed his projects at the turn of the ’80s—particularly those with his group, The Tony Rice Unit. Coining the term “spacegrass” for their experimental work during this period, the group blended extended improvisations with elements of jazz, plus dashes of classical and even prog-rock—all on acoustic instrumentation (a style broadly referred to as “new acoustic”). 1982’s Backwaters is among their most famous albums from this era—and a pioneering title in the new acoustic canon.

Backwaters finds Rice joined by a stellar line-up of bluegrass musicians, including his brother Wyatt Rice (rhythm guitar), John Reischman (mandolin), Todd Phillips (bass), plus Fred Carpenter and Richard Greene on violin. Rice’s world-class acoustic guitar picking skills are on display throughout, as he leads his group through originals like the upbeat “Backwaters,” the languid “Just Some Bar in the French Quarters” and the Latin-flavored “Mobius Mambo.” The band also showcases their versatility through a selection of jazz standards, including Dave Grusin’s “A Child Is Born,” Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “My Favourite Things” (in the up-tempo style of Coltrane) and Bronislaw Kaper’s “On Green Dolphin Street.”

While Rice’s work would shift to more traditional-sounding folk and bluegrass music in the years following Backwaters, the album has long been considered a masterpiece in his prolific catalog of work. Today, it remains a sought-after fan favorite. In a retrospective review, AllMusic declared, “This is excellent music, impeccably played by a group of guys who are all virtuosos on their respective instruments…. Every note sounds right, and each member of the ensemble plays with exceptional taste and class.”

Rice, meanwhile, remained a force in bluegrass for the next three decades, releasing more than a dozen albums under his own name and more than two dozen collaborative titles, including those with The Rice Brothers, Norman Blake and The Bluegrass Album Band—a supergroup, which he founded alongside J.D. Crowe. Hailed by Ricky Skaggs as “The single most influential acoustic guitar player in the last 50 years,” Rice was also a sought-after session musician who appeared on recordings by Mary Chapin Carpenter, Béla Fleck and Emmylou Harris, to name a few. A GRAMMY® Award-winner and multiple IBMA recipient, Rice delivered his final public performance in 2013, during his induction into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame.

Veronica Electronica arrives July 25 on silver vinyl and digitally. Vinyl orders from Madonna.com and Rhino.com will include an exclusive silver mylar lithograph. The beloved deep cut “Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)” from Veronica Electronica arrives today. Listen to it HERE.

Veronica Electronica, an eight-track companion to Ray of Light, was originally envisioned by Madonna as a remix album in 1998. The project was ultimately sidelined by the original album’s runaway success and the parade of hit singles that dominated the spotlight for more than a year. Ray of Light went on to sell over 16 million copies worldwide and earned Madonna four GRAMMY® Awards, including Best Pop Album.

More than 25 years later, that long-rumored concept finally comes to life. The collection features newly edited versions of club remixes by Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone, along with the original demo of “Gone, Gone, Gone”—a previously unreleased recording produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels.

Fresh off the launch of their summer tour, moe. has announced a new string of Fall 2025 tour dates, continuing a milestone year that marks the band’s 35th anniversary. The coast-to-coast run will bring their legendary live show to iconic venues and festivals, including a return to The Capitol Theatre (Port Chester, NY), a set at Hulaween (Live Oak, FL), two nights at The Joy Theater (New Orleans, LA), and more.

The tour kicks off at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY before making its way through the Midwest, South, and Gulf Coast, culminating with a Halloween co-bill with The Infamous Stringdusters in New Orleans. VIP packages will be available for select dates, with proceeds supporting Rock The Pink—a music industry initiative benefiting the American Cancer Society that moe. is proud to support.

A special artist presale begins Wednesday, June 4th at 10am local (password 35MOE), followed by a local promoter presale on Thursday, June 5th at 10am local. General on-sale opens Friday, June 6th at 10am local time. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit moe.org/tour.

The Fall 2025 run follows the band’s previously announced Summer 2025 Tour, which launches Friday, June 7th at Cathead Jam in Jackson, MS, with performances scheduled at Mountain Jam (NY), Northlands (NH), All Good Now (MD), Great South Bay Festival (NY), and more. The band will also join forces with Umphrey’s McGee and Eggy on select dates throughout the summer.

moe. is currently touring in support of their acclaimed album Circle of Giants (ATO Records), a deeply personal and musically expansive release that captures the band’s resilience and evolution. Praised for its raw emotion and dynamic interplay, the album includes standout tracks like “Ups and Downs,” “Giants,” and “Living Again,” and marks the studio debut of keyboardist Nate Wilson, who officially joined the band in 2023.

“It feels good to celebrate after the amount of shit we’ve been through,” said bassist Rob Derhak. “But we’ve always found our way forward—because we have each other.”

Also available now for pre-order is moe. – The Relix Session, a limited-edition 4-LP vinyl release capturing the band live at Brooklyn Bowl on May 19th, 2023. Pressed on alternating custom blue and fluorescent green/yellow discs, this 1,500-copy edition features highlights like “Recreational Chemistry,” “Lazarus,” “The Faker,” and covers of Pink Floyd’s “Fearless” and Steely Dan’s “Do It Again.” Each package includes an exclusive 11.5″ x 11.5″ photo collage spanning the band’s 35-year career. This release is exclusive to Relix online and will be a featured item on tour this year. For more information and to pre-order the release, visit here.

Formed in 1990 at the University of Buffalo, moe. has carved out a singular place in American rock, fusing genre-bending musicianship, clever songwriting, and improvisational fearlessness. With a fanbase as loyal as it is expansive—the Famoe.ly—the band continues to headline festivals like Bonnaroo and Fuji Rock, perform alongside icons including The Allman Brothers Band, The Who, and Grateful Dead members, and organize their own events such as moe.down and snoe.down.

The current lineup features Rob Derhak (bass, vocals), Al Schnier (guitar, vocals), Chuck Garvey (guitar, vocals), Jim Loughlin (percussion, vibes), Vinnie Amico (drums), and Nate Wilson (keyboards). Their tireless touring schedule and boundary-pushing creativity have made moe. one of the most enduring and influential acts in the jam scene.
