Seven time GRAMMY Award nominated Kehlani unveils the official music video for her latest single, “Out The Window,” out today via Atlantic Records. The visual arrives as the exciting next chapter in her artistic evolution, blending striking imagery with the soulful storytelling that defines her as a compelling voice in R&B. This follows a landmark year where her 2025 single “Folded” earned her first solo Billboard number one on the Rhythmic Airplay Chart and received two GRAMMY nominations. “Out The Window” successfully extends this incredible streak, delivering a powerful visual and sonic experience.
Wife Duo BFrank Drops Queer Celebration Single “Brigid” And It Is Beautiful
Irish indie pop wife duo BFrank has released their stunning debut single “Brigid,” an intimate, downtempo synth laced song available on all streaming platforms today, November 26th. The track features revealing vocal harmonies that detail the beautiful and powerful first moments of falling in love. This heartfelt message is captured further in the accompanying video, which features fun, queer Dirty Dancing inspiration. The duo is a strong merger of two highly praised talents: Susie Blue and Audrey Blue.
BFrank says, “‘Brigid’ is a track that we poured a lot of love into. It’s about those years when you first start to fall in love, how intense those feelings are and how much you think you’ll never find anything else like that feeling in the world. It’s an amalgamation of all the women we felt something for and how they forever changed us whether good or bad.” With Susie Blue having been championed by BBC 6 Music and Glastonbury, this new project promises great things for 2026.
Jorge Wilson Finds Freedom And Groove On The Infectious New Single “Gemini”
Stoke on Trent indie pop artist Jorge Wilson writes music with a disarming honesty that truly reflects his roots. With a sound he describes as “modern vintage,” Wilson blends nostalgic textures with forward thinking production, fusing the charm of the past with the edge of today. Drawing inspiration from artists like Mac DeMarco, Steve Lacy, and The 1975, his music is an honest reflection of who he is and who he is becoming. After feeling unable to fully express himself in a previous band, Wilson launched his solo project in late 2023, writing, performing, and producing much of his material guided by the mantra “Listen to nobody.” That shining independence is channeled directly into his new single “Gemini,” an infectious, groove led track that captures the thrill of letting someone see your true self.
Written after an impromptu moment of inspiration, “Gemini” channels Wilson’s love of both 80s icons like Men At Work and Michael Jackson, whose “Beat It” inspired the song’s guitar solo, and contemporary innovators like Tame Impala. The track was recorded with producer Steven Griffiths at Dead Door Studios and explores the idea of duality, that side of someone you only discover once you are close enough to see beneath the surface. Since debuting his solo project, Wilson’s music has earned strong support from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio USA, alongside features in The Sentinel. With “Gemini,” he continues to cement his place as one of indie pop’s most exciting new voices, creating a sound that feels both timeless and refreshingly his own.
Tracklib Dives Into The Samples That Made The Futurama Theme Song A Classic
Tracklib recently broke down the incredible musical layers sampled in the original 1999 2013 opening theme song for the iconic Matt Groening animated series Futurama. The breakdown reveals that the theme includes samples from foundational tracks like “Amen, Brother” by The Winstons, “Rapper’s Delight” by The Sugarhill Gang, and “Psyché Rock” by Pierre Henry and Michel Colombier.
Empara Mi Continues Her Twisted Saga With The Cinematic New Video “Mercy”
Empara Mi is continuing her fascinating anthropic music video series, The Haunting Of Empara Mi, with the release of the video for her track “Mercy,” brilliantly directed by Cal McIntyre, lead creative for The Last Dinner Party. This video serves as a powerful finale within her conceptual album, ‘Monsters & Masochists’, a body of work that presents carefully carved chapters of a much deeper narrative. The visionary artist sees music not just as sound, but as an all encompassing sensory experience. Following on from its counterpart, “Hurt Like Me,” the visuals for “Mercy” take place in a desolate house, following a story centered around a possession. The demonic figure embodying Mother Mercy finds Empara Mi at her weakest and pulls her through a violent evolution, turning her into the monster this world has forged. Empara Mi sings “blood under my fingernails, I climbed your ladder, it led me to hell, I served your wine while you feed, I laid the table, now I want a seat.”
This is more than just a music video, carrying the grainy, voyeuristic unease of a camcorder horror that blurs the lines between performance and found footage, making the viewer feel like an intruder on unholy events. Empara Mi has truly carved her own lane in music, building on the success of her debut album, ‘Suitcase Full of Sins’, which became an underground sensation racking up over 50 million streams and landing tracks like “Blood in the Water” in global Netflix hits. Her cinematic sound has been featured in campaigns for Apple and Pretty Little Thing. Her voice, described by Clash Magazine as carrying a “devastating sense of soul,” has made her a sought after collaborator, including the featured single “Freedom” with Wilkinson and Sub Focus on their number one album ‘Portals’. ‘Monsters & Masochists’ unfolds with orchestral arrangements recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, promising an unimpeachable impression on the music world.
Rioghan Releases Emotional New Single “Chapter II Moment” As Their Story Unfolds
Rioghan, known for a powerful and multifaceted brand of modern metal, continues their intriguing story today with the release of the new single “Chapter II: Moment.” This stunning original track unfolds from a piano led ambience and electronic pulse toward a cathartic, emotional eruption. This is the second single from their upcoming EP, following the previously released “Chapter I: Frozen,” which quickly drew attention across metal and alternative audiences both in Finland and abroad. Rioghan Darcy explains the lyrical heart of the song, saying, “Moment continues EP’s storyline at the point where the ice begins to crack. The track describes the moment when the thaw begins – a delicate but decisive movement towards change. It’s the instant you realize that things aren’t as they should be, and change is necessary.” The new track arrives with a visually striking music video once again crafted in collaboration with Aarni Visuals.
This year has proven to be a significant one for the band. Rioghan’s second album ‘Kept’ was released in February, successfully debuting at number six on the physical album chart and earning glowing reviews internationally. In addition to a release tour, the band performed with alternative pioneer SARA at Ääniwalli in Helsinki and rocked their first festival appearance at Nummirock. The exciting momentum carries into the end of the year. Rioghan appeared at the H 18 Halloween event at Science Center Heureka, and this Friday, November 28, the band will take the stage at John Smith Frozen in Jyväskylä. Both of these are special acoustic performances, offering a unique, thrilling, and enchanting chance to experience Rioghan’s sonic world from a new perspective.
BIG SPECIAL Unveils Softer Side With New Single “DRAGGED UP A HILL” And Massive Tour
BIG SPECIAL stands as a powerful testament to resilience and long standing partnership in the progressive punk metal scene. The Birmingham duo continues building momentum today by releasing their latest single, “DRAGGED UP A HILL (and thrown down the other side),” via SO Recordings. This new track spotlights Joe Hickin’s emotionally charged vocals, revealing a softer side from the duo’s signature sound. Hicklin describes the track as “a song written a while ago that we picked back out of our dusty drawer, about the old labouring days and the feeling of getting nowhere in love and work, despite all the graft.” The duo recently wrapped a massive European tour and collaborated with Sleaford Mods on the single “The Good Life,” appearing alongside actress Gwendoline Christie in a captivating video.
Built on a lifelong friendship, BIG SPECIAL grounds their music in honesty, dark humor, and a clear sense of purpose. Durell Anthony Delivers A Masterclass In Modern Soul With His New Album ‘Lovenotes’
Durell Anthony affirms his place as one of today’s most sincere and essential voices in modern pop soul music. The GRAMMY nominated artist returns this fall with ‘Lovenotes’, a deeply personal and universally resonant ten track album exploring love in its many forms. This project showcases Anthony’s exceptionally smooth vocals, timeless melodies, and emotional storytelling, creating a sound that feels both classic and contemporary. Anchored by the 2024 San Diego Music Award nominated single “One More Night,” ‘Lovenotes’ successfully blends the warmth of classic R&B with contemporary pop polish, reminiscent of John Legend and Leon Bridges. Produced by longtime collaborators Jordan Childs and Keegan Ferrell, the album is rich with expressive piano and layered harmonies.
This project speaks directly to the beauty and intentionality of commitment and lasting love in today’s culture, weaving through themes like devotion on “Satisfied” and vulnerability on “Labyrinth.” Anthony first gained national recognition on Season 20 of NBC’s The Voice, joining John Legend’s team after a powerful rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On,” and he has since built a reputation as a soulful and grounded storyteller. The message throughout ‘Lovenotes’ is clear: it is both a personal love letter and a universal reminder to cherish those closest to us. Anthony shares, “My hope for Lovenotes is that it reminds people that real love is possible – the kind you grow with, laugh with, cry with, and hold on to.”
Rayon Unleash Whacked Out Single “Shopping” With A New Lease On Life
No wave angular post punk outfit Rayon is back with a beautiful and unconventional new single! The track “Shopping” is a tongue in cheek ode to consumerism and travel, born from near burnout and a revival road trip that reignited the band’s creative fire. The video for “Shopping” was filmed with nostalgic Super 8 video, and the band hilariously admitted to getting kicked out of three stores while touring south of the border making the clip. This single is the first in an exciting new series of similar records in the works for Rayon.
The band, which is the brainchild of North Portland resident Eric Sabatino, involves members of Sun Atoms and Yuvees, including Riley McLaughlin and Eric Rubalcava. Breaking tradition for this release, Sabatino teamed up with famed recording engineer Larry Crane at Jackpot Recording and Timothy Stollenwerk at Stereophonic Mastering. Sabatino explained the process, saying: “Doing everything on film and tape is a bit of a safety check valve, to make sure we make everything like humans with no autotune, copy/paste or AI. I’m becoming an imperfectionist.” The band noted that the addition of new members and a trip to Mexico brought a new energy, leading them back to the garage studio to record these songs on old reel to reel tape machines. The single is available on 7” vinyl and as a two track digital release via Little Cloud Records, alongside the anxious B side “Running.”
