Nate Smith teams with Tyler Hubbard for their first collaboration “After Midnight,” out now with a Jeff Johnson and Kaiser Cunningham directed music video. Smith calls working with Hubbard a bucket list moment, praising his voice, energy and songwriting while describing the track as embodying everything he loves in a song. Hubbard co-wrote “After Midnight” alongside producer Casey Brown and Corey Crowder, crafting a campfire singalong that explodes into arena anthem territory with lines like “Tailgates go down / Solos get flipped / Girls get to dancing / When headlights get lit.” The robust guitar riff drives a chantable chorus where both artists lock in for maximum impact. The accompanying video captures the spirit perfectly with bonfires, four-wheelers, beer pong and red cups flying as Smith and Hubbard trade vocals surrounded by friends living out the song’s late night energy.
Downcast Enlist Dream State’s Jessie Powell For “Nothing Left To Give” Single Ahead Of November 27 EP Featuring WSTR’s Sammy
Bristol’s downcast just unleashed “Nothing Left To Give,” their darkest and most emotionally devastating single yet featuring Dream State’s Jessie Powell. The track pushes their British take on Midwestern emo into nu metal territory with crushing heaviness before Powell’s vocals elevate everything to another level entirely. Frontman Liam Edwards wrote the song about feeling unrecognizable under modern life’s relentless expectations, exploring moments when even familiar spaces feel alienating and hollow. The band drops their ‘Nothing Left To Give’ EP on November 27, featuring the title track, a new original called “home” with WSTR’s Sammy, plus their recent covers of Backstreet Boys’ “Just Want You To Know” and My Chemical Romance’s “I Don’t Love You.” This represents some of the strongest material downcast has created.
Violet Breed Drops “Stay Away” With Tesla’s Brian Wheat And AleX Channeling Grunge Fury Into Modern Alternative Heartbreak
Violet Breed unleashes their fourth single “Stay Away,” featuring Tesla founder and bassist Brian Wheat alongside rising singer-songwriter AleX. The track delivers explosive alt-rock intensity rooted in 90s grunge DNA while pushing into contemporary territory that recalls Nirvana’s rawness colliding with My Chemical Romance’s melodic punch and the visceral energy of Yungblud and Wunderhorse. AleX describes the song as their darkest and heaviest work yet, exploring the painful reality of watching someone self-destruct while they push you away to spare you from their collapse. The production hits massive with gritty guitars and thunderous drums building a hook designed for maximum emotional impact. Brian Wheat calls it a perfect fusion of classic and modern rock sensibilities, proving Violet Breed continue evolving their sound into heavier emotional terrain.
Ageless Bends Time And Memory On ‘Different Scenery’ EP With “No Heart At All” Out Now
Electronic producer Ageless returns to Grand Alliance Music with ‘Different Scenery,’ a deeply cinematic two part release exploring perception, reflection and emotional transformation. The journey starts November 11 with lead single “No Heart At All,” a nostalgic track capturing the quiet space between loss and renewal where change feels inevitable. Three days later on November 14, the full EP arrives as a panoramic soundscape blending soulful electronica, downtempo bass and cinematic ambiance. Ageless layers shimmering synths, vintage textures and delicate percussion across tracks including “Blind Spot” and the title cut “Different Scenery.” The producer describes the work as existing in the space between experiencing a moment and remembering it, creating sound that breathes and expands with analog warmth and infinite depth.
