Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band Adds Fall 2025 Tour Dates

0

Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band, on the cusp of a Spring tour this June, have announced a run of Fall tour dates.

The All Starr Band lineup remains the same for the Autumnal run and features Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette as well as Buck Johnson on keyboards.

2025 has been a busy year, and saw Ringo release his second Country album, Look Up, on January 10, 2025. Produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett, this chart topping stunning collection won him his first #1 in the UK and was a Top 10 Stateside. They marked the occasion with two star studded performances at the historic Ryman Theater, “Ringo and Friends at the Ryman,” that featured Ringo Starr, Sheryl Crow, Rodney Crowell, Mickey Guyton, Emmylou Harris, Sarah Jarosz, Jamey Johnson, Brenda Lee, Larkin Poe, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Jack White and T Bone Burnett as Master of Ceremonies.

On February 21, Ringo made his Opry Debut, after being invited by Emmylou Harris at the Ryman shows. While in Nashville the Musicians Hall of Fame, in collaboration with Julien’s Auctions, launched an exhibit in his honor, entitled “Beats & Threads,” based on the book they published of the same title. On March 10 “Ringo and Friends at the Ryman” premiered on CBS and continues to stream on Paramount. On March 28th, Ringo released a track from that show, “With a Little Help from My Friends” , with 100% of all global streaming revenue generated by the song from March 28, 2025 through March 27, 2026 to equally support the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity ReBUILDLA to help those impacted by the California wildfires in 2025.

Throughout his career he has received nine GRAMMY Awards and has twice been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — first as a Beatle and then as solo artist. Between 1970 and 2023, Ringo has released 20 solo studio records and 4 consecutive EPs in 2020, 2021 and 2023. He has acted in over 15 films, received an Academy Award, and has been nominated as an actor for an Emmy. Ringo has published 8 books; had a stint as a male fashion model, and that same year went behind the lens as the photographer for some Foo Fighters PR photos. Ringo is also a visual artist and has had numerous exhibitions of his work and his “Peace Sculpture” is on permanent display in the Beverly Hills Park. In 2008 Ringo began dedicating his July 7 birthday to promoting Peace and Love and the movement has grown to include events all over the planet and into the stars with support from NASA. In 2018, Ringo was knighted and in 2019 he celebrated 35 years of touring with his All Starr Bands. In 2022 Ringo received an honorary degree as a Doctor of Music from Berklee College of Music and earlier he was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame with the Joe Chambers Musicians Legacy Award. In January of this year, Starr released Look Up, a country album produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett. It is Starr’s first country album in more than 50 years and earned him his first top 10 on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales chart, as well as landing him on multiple other Billboard charts. In the UK the album reached a significant career milestone, securing Starr his first solo #1 album, overtaking Taylor Swift when Look Up claimed the top spot on the Official Country Chart. January also saw Starr accept an invitation to make his Grand Ole Opry debut, which he performed on February 21, 2025.

Chris Caffery Releases “Then She’s Gone” Ahead of June 13 Compilation Album ‘20 Years of the Music Man’

0

Chris Caffery releases the new single “Then She’s Gone.” The song is taken from the upcoming collection 20 Years of the Music Man, which will be released internationally on June 13th via Metalville.

“Then She’s Gone” is an unreleased track Chris wrote around the time of the songs for Faces. “I’ve made mistakes in my life, and I’ve made decisions that may have cut someone out of my life,” he explains. “These decisions can be ones you did purposely or things you did personally that had them leave your life. As human beings, we make mistakes, and as the song says ‘I should have listened and learned,’ and some mistakes you can make again…Then she’s gone….”

With 20 Years of the Music Man, the Savatage and Trans-Siberian Orchestra guitarist presents a very personal selection of 21 songs from his successful solo career, which has now spanned two decades. The compilation includes songs from his previous solo albums as well as rare and unreleased tracks that Chris considers too important not to make available to the fans.

Chris says about his selection, “In 2004, I released my first solo record. I wasn’t sure what to expect; I just knew I wanted to make some music on my own. It was a time when I had a lot of questions, not only about myself but where certain parts of my life were heading. The ‘Music Man’ in me decided to use my energy positively. I spent 20 years writing and recording and expressing myself to you. This new release contains some of your favorite songs as well as mine. There are also some unreleased songs and a brand new one, as well.

“I’d like to thank all of the amazing musicians, engineers, and producers who participated on these recordings with me.

“I dedicate this to all of you, my friends. Also to my mentor in heaven who believed in me from the earliest days of my career, Mr. Paul O’Neill, and a special dedication to my mom, who remained my best friend and supporter through all of my rollercoaster rides these past couple decades.

“Thank you all for being a part of my journey and I look forward to continuing the next 20 years and beyond!”

Ice Nine Kills Announce ‘Hell Of A Summer Tour’ With Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, And Mest

0

Ice Nine Kills have announced the ICE NINE KILLS: HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR, a brand new US headline run kicking off this August. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will bring the band’s twisted theatricality and cinematic carnage to arenas and amphitheaters across the country, closing out with a homecoming performance at Worcester’s DCU Center as part of the band’s annual Silver Scream Con.

The tour’s lineup spans a cross-section of modern heavy music’s most dynamic voices. From August 8 through August 31, Ice Nine Kills will be joined by Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, and The Funeral Portrait. Beginning September 2, pop-punk cult icons Mest will also join the bill, continuing through the final dates in Florida. The September 13 show at Silver Scream Con will feature Dayseeker, The Funeral Portrait, Mest, and a very special guest appearance by A Loss for Words , closing out the run in chaotic style.

Spencer Charnas, vocalist and creative architect of ICE NINE KILLS, comments: “The ‘Hell Of A Summer Tour’ will be a celebration of all things INK — past, present, and future. It’s an eclectic bill, and having MEST on some of the shows is a particularly full-circle moment for me. As many Psychos will remember, I formed ICE NINE KILLS after seeing GOLDFINGER and MEST in Worcester 25 years ago. The date is so important to me that I have it tattooed behind my ear.

“The tour culminates in a sure-to-be historic performance at the DCU Center, where I experienced some of my first arena shows as a kid, including the ‘Family Values’ tour with our current tourmates LIMP BIZKIT and home of the Silver Scream Con. The ‘Hell Of A Summer Tour”s last stop, at the Silver Scream Con, will also feature some New England punk rock royalty as a very special guest.”

A special BLABBERMOUTH.NET presale will begin on Wednesday, May 21 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) ET and end on Thursday, May 22 at 10:00 p.m. local time. When prompted, type in the presale code “BBMINK25” using the ticketing links below to access tickets before the general public. General on-sale will be Friday, May 23 at 10 a.m. local time.

ICE NINE KILLS spread cavalier carnage with a knowing smile, as evidenced by the densely catchy songs on their pair of breakthrough albums, “The Silver Scream” and “The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood”. The INKverse boasts a series of high-concept, cinematic videos; the Psychos Only club; a mock “true crime” book; the Inked In Blood graphic novels; monthly “Nightmare On The 9th” merch drops; and the annual INK-curated Silver Scream Con weekends. In 2024, Silver Scream Con moved into the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, not far from the North Shore birthplace of ICE NINE KILLS.

Led by Charnas, the internationally acclaimed band, who mix extreme metal with melody, toured with SLIPKNOT in 2022 and was handpicked by METALLICA for the “M72” world tour in 2023, 2024 and 2025. The horror community Spencer grew up loving has embraced his band in return. INK’s “A Work Of Art” plays in 2024’s “Terrifier 3”, now the highest-grossing unrated film ever. The single debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and has remained on the chart for over 18 weeks and counting, while accumulating over 35 million streams to date.

Spencer recently launched the Pretty Evil personal care line and revealed he’s co-written the forthcoming feature film “The Slashin’ Of The Christ”, produced by Greg Nicotero (“The Walking Dead”).

Hailed by Loudwire as “one of the most unique acts in metal right now,” ICE NINE KILLS captivates with inventive band-fan connections, immersive, theatrical live shows, and a growing legion of “psychos” the world over. With over 2.03 million monthly Spotify listeners, 1.4 billion career streams, and 400 million YouTube views, the band has cemented itself as a dominant and visionary force in modern metal, fearlessly carving out a thrilling, horror-inspired legacy.

Bon Scott’s 79th Birthday Bash Set For July 9 With Corey Glover, Peter Shaw, And Jimmy Kunes At The Bowery Electric

0

July 9th will mark the great Bon Scott’s 79th birthday, and to celebrate, the Second Annual Official Bon Scott Birthday Bash will take part that day at the Bowery Electric in NYC.

The event will feature Living Colour’s Corey Glover, Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Peter Shaw, and Cactus’ Jimmy Kunes, among many others. Special guest openers Ravagers.

The Bon Scott Estate, along with their exclusive merchandising partner Perryscope Productions, will also celebrate with a series of new collaborations with Knucklebonz, Dixxon Flannels, Collectionzz Posters, and Jungle Merchandise in Australia. All info can be found here.

Additionally, this year marks the 50-year mark since AC/DC’s classic debut album, High Voltage – which spawned such all-time classic rock anthems as “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock n’ Roll),” “Live Wire,” and “TNT,” among others. Also, if you caught AC/DC on their current PWRUP tour, you would have been treated to 10 (out of 21) Bon-era songs.

Few rock singers were as unforgettable – and have proved as enduring – as Bon Scott. As the frontman of AC/DC from 1974 until his tragic passing in 1980 (at the age of 33), his “rock n’ roll pirate persona,” street poet lyrics, and striking image (one of the first rockers to proudly sport multiple tattoos) have made him an absolute legend. Additionally, Bon’s vocals were featured in several pre-AC/DC bands, including Fraternity, the Valentines, and the Spektors.

But really, it is the quality of the songs of the “Bon-era” of AC/DC that serve as his greatest legacy – “Highway to Hell,” “Sin City,” “Whole Lotta Rosie,” “Let There Be Rock,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”…the list is seemingly endless.

How does Bon measure up to rock’s all-time great frontmen? Classic Rock Magazine declared him “The Greatest Rock n’ Roll Front Man of All Time” in 2004, beating out the lofty likes of Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, and Axl Rose in the process.

And now the spirit of Bon Scott lives on with the upcoming second annual tribute show.

Eli Young Band Announces ‘Strange Hours’ Album and Tour

0

After dropping the slinky new single “Strange Hours,” 18x RIAA Gold and Platinum-certified country hitmakers Eli Young Band are back for more, launching a new era with the announce of their Strange Hours album and headline tour.

Set for release August 1, Strange Hours finds the trailblazing group returning to the bold creative defiance of their independent roots – and to Panhandle House Studio in their hometown of Denton, Texas, where their debut album Level was born.

Reviving the raw, grassroots energy and emotional sting of their early work, a brand new batch of country-rock anthems feature Eli Young Band’s signature live-band philosophy, and their chart-topping sound. Along the way, frontman Mike Eli continues to wield one of the most distinctive voices in modern country, leading a band of brothers who write the majority of their fan-favorite tracks.

Featuring 13 songs – all co-written by Eli Young Band members and produced by Jimmy Robbins and Eric Arjes – Strange Hours includes title track with its grooving tribute to a black-magic romance, plus the songs off their Nothing On the Wild EP. A fearless batch of all new tunes join the previously released “Home In Hometown,” “What Do Lonely People Do,” “I’m Yours Amen” and “Nothing On the Wild.”

Looking back over the course of their 25-year career, the band members say they still feel the magnetic pull of sold-out country music crowds. And it still has them keeping Strange Hours.

“This is a full circle moment for us. Going back home to Denton, Texas to record the album that is our first independent release in years,” shares lead vocalist, Mike Eli. “It was just us in the studio with our producers and a couple of old friends making music that we love! These songs are special to us and this record is the start of a whole new chapter for EYB!”

Meanwhile, the ACM winning and GRAMMY nominated band will also return to the road for their headlining Strange Hours Tour. Kicking off June 7 in Cambridge, Idaho, the celebratory run will include 55 stops in cities from coast to coast, before wrapping in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Making six key stops in their home state of Texas, the thrilling foursome return to their element – packing a live-show setlist with No. 1 smashes like the 5x Platinum single “Crazy Girl,” 3x Platinum “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” 2x Platinum “Love Ain’t” and Platinum “Drunk Last Night.”

Tickets for the Strange Hours Tour will go on sale Friday, May 23 at 10 a.m. local time. Select dates offer pre-sale from May 21 at 10 a.m. local time to May 22 at 10 p.m. local time. The complete routing of Eli Young Band’s Strange Hours Tour can be found below.

Billie Eilish Expands ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ Tour With New Arena Dates

0

With her sold-out 2024/2025 Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour currently underway, Billie Eilish has today announced 23 additional arena dates in Japan and the U.S. for this year.

Produced by Live Nation, the newly added shows include two nights at Tokyo’s Saitama Super Arena on August 16 and 17, followed by a second U.S. leg this fall with stops in Miami, Orlando, Raleigh, New Orleans, Austin, and more. The tour will now span 106 dates in total, concluding on Sunday, November 23 at Chase Center in San Francisco-more than a year after it first kicked off in fall 2024.

Since launching last September, Billie Eilish has brought her tour to North America and Australia, and is currently touring across Europe, the U.K., and Ireland. The run has featured multiple-night stops in several cities, including five sold-out hometown shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and three sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The current tour leg continues Thursday, May 29 with two shows in Cologne, followed by stops in Prague, Vienna, Paris, Barcelona, and more. This July, she’ll also headline an impressive six sold-out nights at The O2 in London.

Billie Eilish is using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange to give fans, not scalpers, the best chance to buy tickets at face value. To make this work, tickets will be non-transferable and the tour may cancel tickets posted elsewhere for more than face value. In New York, where resale can’t legally be restricted, tickets will be transferable. Fans can still buy and sell their tickets at the original price paid on Ticketmaster.

Billie Eilish’s critically acclaimed third studio album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT was released May 17, 2024 via Darkroom/Interscope Records, and continues to shatter the ceiling for artists in 2025. Her GRAMMY nominated smash hit BIRDS OF A FEATHER is now the most streamed song on Spotify by a female in the last decade, surpassing 2.5 billion streams, making it the fastest song in history to achieve this. It is also the longest charting solo song by a female artist in Billboard Pop Airplay chart history.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album, 8-time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood is releasing a new special edition vinyl, Some Hearts 20th Anniversary Edition, via Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music. This special edition is available for pre-order now exclusively through Target (link HERE), and will be released on Friday, November 14, just ahead of the album’s anniversary date (November 15, 2005).

Originally released in 2005, the 9x certified platinum album Some Hearts, catapulted Carrie Underwood to stardom following her historic win on Season 4 of “American Idol.” The album quickly became the best-selling debut country album of all time, featuring timeless #1 hits such as “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” “Before He Cheats,” and “Wasted,” and garnering numerous awards and honors throughout the years.

To commemorate this milestone, the double 20th Anniversary Edition vinyl will have a new alternate cover image and packaging, and an exclusive photo booklet. The release will also include four tracks from Carrie’s live session at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN, recorded on October 26, 2005, and available on vinyl for the first time ever.

This year, Underwood commemorated the 20th anniversary of winning “American Idol” by becoming the popular singing competition’s first alum to join the judging panel. The hit ABC series had its season finale on May 18 and streams on Hulu.

5 Surprising Facts About George Wendt

0

George Wendt, the beloved actor who brought Norm Peterson to life on Cheers, has died at 77.

When Wendtwalked into Cheers, the world shouted, “Norm!” But behind the barstool and beneath the lovable grin was a career — and a life — filled with unexpected stories. Sure, you knew him as the everyman of Cheers. But here are 5 facts that just might make you say, “Wait… really?”

1. He Got Kicked Out of Notre Dame with a 0.00 GPA
Before he was raising a glass on Cheers, Wendt was flunking out of the University of Notre Dame. Literally. He earned a perfect 0.00 GPA in his junior year — not for partying too hard, but because he stopped going to class altogether. Living off-campus, facing cold winters and no transportation, Wendt admitted, “I basically quit and didn’t inform the university.” Somehow, it worked out.

2. His First Job in Showbiz? Sweeping Floors
George didn’t walk into Second City with a script — he walked in with a broom. After being inspired by a show, he asked how to join. They told him to show up at 11:30 a.m. sharp. He did — and was handed a broom with the words, “Welcome to the theatre, kid.” From janitor to comedy legend, Wendt literally swept his way into the business.

3. He’s Married to the Voice of Vera — Norm’s Wife on Cheers
You never saw her on Cheers, but you definitely heard her. Norm’s never-seen wife Vera was voiced by Bernadette Birkett — George Wendt’s real-life wife. The two met while performing at Second City, and stayed married for over four decades. In Season 3, she even briefly appears as Cliff’s Halloween date. Talk about sitcom synergy!

4.He Never Turned Down a Chance to Make Fans Smile
Despite his fame, Wendt was known for being endlessly approachable and kind. Whether it was a surprise appearance at a local theatre, a guest spot on Hot in Cleveland, or simply sharing a beer with fans who shouted “Norm!” across the street, he embraced the love with warmth and humility. He once joked, “If their impulse is to buy me a beer, then by all means, follow that impulse.” For Wendt, being Norm wasn’t just a role—it was a way to make people feel seen, welcomed, and at home.

5. He Played Santa, a Killer, and Even a Moose
Post-Cheers, George Wendt took on roles as diverse as Santa Claus (Elf: The Musical, Santa Buddies), a thoroughbred-owning murderer on Columbo, and even competed on The Masked Singer as “Moose.” His long career included everything from Broadway (Hairspray, Death of a Salesman) to sitcoms (The George Wendt Show, Clipped), proving he was never just Norm — he was a whole world of characters in one cozy flannel shirt.

So raise a glass to George Wendt. He made us laugh. He made us feel at home. And he reminded us that sometimes the best characters — and people — are the ones who greet you like a regular. Norm may have lived at Cheers, but George Wendt lived in our hearts.
