Phase Transition Set to Release Debut Album ‘In Search of Being’ on June 6

0

With a number of singles released over the past few months, progressive metal trio Phase Transition, are finally closer to releasing their forthcoming debut album, In Search of Being, on June 6th, 2025.

Prior to the album’s release, the band has one more song to share, “The Other Side,”, a song about the mysteries of death and the perception of mortality.

The track features Ricardo Pereira from the melodic death metal band Moonshade and offers a perfect blend of melodic female vocals and guttural male vocals, along with powerful guitar, violin, and drum solos. It all comes together in an epic, catchy chorus and delivers a densely melodic yet heavy and groovy take on progressive metal.

You can listen to the song here:

Tracklisting:
1. Dichotomy
2. Becoming, (R)evolution
3.Veil of Illusions
4.Shadows of Grief
5.The Other Side

Writing for the album started in 2023 when guitarist Luís Dias was in Barcelona for a while. The band worked on the music remotely which took about a year and a half to lay down, then another six months to produce and record everything. The final production, mixing, and mastering was done with the help of former Anathema member Daniel Cardoso, at Öhme Studio.

Sofia Beco, Luís Dias, and Fernando Maia began playing while at university, in the middle of their studies for exams, with Dream Theater covers. While trying to pass their courses, they managed to release their first EP called “Relatively Speaking”, in 2020. Since then, they have been playing in several venues like HardClub and festivals such as Comendatio Music Fest. The band combines influences ranging from classical music to technical progressive metal, as a result of the eclectic backgrounds of the members.

Big Big Train Announce New Live Album ‘Are We Nearly There Yet?’ Out September 19

0

Big Big Train will issue a new live album Are We Nearly There Yet? on September 19th, 2025. Sub-titled Live Around The World, the album collects together a series of performances recorded in 2024 and 2025 on the band’s tours, which visited the UK, USA, Canada, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Denmark and Portugal as well as co-headlining Cruise To The Edge in both years. The album has been compiled by bassist Gregory Spawton and lead vocalist Alberto Bravin.

“Apart from Summer Shall Not Fade, which captured our show headlining the 2018 Night Of The Prog festival in Germany, our previous live albums have been based around shows in London,” drummer Nick D’Virgilio explains. “Having spread our touring wings internationally much more in the last few years, we wanted to mix it up and release a live album drawn from the almost 40 shows we’ve played around the world since March 2024.”

“While our engineer Rob Aubrey will be spending the coming months taking the lead mixing our next studio album, mixing has fallen to me for Are We Nearly There Yet?“, Alberto Bravin comments. “It’s been really interesting to go back through all the performances and choose what we thought were the most appropriate ones to include on this live release. That doesn’t always mean the best technical performance – sometimes a song had a unique vibe on a particular night which we wanted to celebrate.”

The first song to be made available from Are We Nearly There Yet? is Black With Ink, recorded in London in October 2024. “Black With Ink didn’t get massive attention when we originally released it on the Common Ground album in 2021,” guitarist/keyboardist Rikard Sjöblom says. “I always thought it could be a kick ass tune live and that’s exactly how it turned out. Back when we originally recorded the song, it was David Longdon’s idea that the lead vocals should be shared around the band and on tour it has been real fun for me, Nick, Clare Lindley and Oskar Holldorff each to get to sing a verse.”

Are We Nearly There Yet? will be released via Big Big Train’s own label English Electric Recordings on 2CD and 3LP housed in a gatefold sleeve, via Bandcamp high resolution download and streaming. The 3LP version of the album will be available as limited edition 180 gram transparent violet vinyl (exclusive to Burning Shed and The Bandwagon USA) and 180 gram black vinyl. Pre-orders will be accompanied by a signed Are We Nearly There Yet? art card.

Jakko M. Jakszyk Announces New Album ‘Son Of Glen’ Out June 27

0

Jakko M. Jakszyk, perhaps most recently known as lead singer and second guitarist in King Crimson, is proud to announce his new solo album ‘Son Of Glen’ – set for release on June 27th, 2025. The record is a companion piece of sorts to his acclaimed memoir ‘Who’s The Boy With The Lovely Hair’, that was released in October 2024, and explores many of the themes and the subjects that the book touches upon.

To coincide with this announcement, you can now hear the stunning 10-minute long title track here:

A specially commissioned video for Son Of Glen, will be premiered on the 2nd May. Look out for more information on that soon.

Jakko comments: “A romantic fantasy narrative based on what I discovered about my real father after decades of fruitless searching for him.
Glen Tripp was a US airman based in the UK who fell for a dark-haired Irish singer. And here I was many, many years later repeating what he had done by falling for another. What if he had been watching me and guiding me from ‘afar’?”

Jakko’s remarkable songcraft is evident on ‘Son Of Glen’, as his elegiac lyric muses on our fixation with nostalgia and the human condition, and yet where great songwriting, pathos and poetry would be enough to satiate most listeners, let us not forget that Jakko is (somewhat enviably) also a phenomenal guitarist, exceptional singer and multi-instrumentalist, whose precision production and skill for crafting glorious spatial soundscapes takes his arsenal of talents and skills, to a place where it’s more than justified to say, there is no one else quite like Jakko, doing everything that he does, with the proficiency he does it.

‘Son Of Glen’ will be available as a Limited CD Digipak, Gatefold LP & as Digital Album. The full tracklist is below:

1. Ode To Ballina 02:11
2. Somewhere Between Then And Now 07:41
3. How Did I Let You Get So Old? 05:58
4. This Kiss Never Lies 07:06
5. Ode To Ballina (Reprise) 02:11
6. I Told You So 05:41
7. (Get A) Proper Job 01:37
8. Son Of Glen 10:18

Listen & pre-order now here: https://jakkomjakszyk.lnk.to/SonOfGlen-Album

Despite being seemingly the last person to recognise this: Jakko stands in a league of his own.
This in itself, we can muse upon, could well be the manifestation of an unwanted child who felt they had everything to prove. A core theme of his book, a theme many people themselves can relate to in some capacity.

Whether emotional hardship has driven Jakko to the place where ‘Son Of Glen’ has culminated, or simply a need to reach out to the spectre of his late Father, it gives credence to the romantic notion that one’s best art is produced from periods of struggle. ‘Son Of Glen’ is undeniably Jakko M. Jakszyk’s triumph, which succinctly showcases an extraordinary life and career of an unparalleled musician, producer and songwriter.

The album also features appearances by drummer’s Gavin Harrison (King Crimson/Porcupine Tree) and Ian Mosley (Marillion), cellist Caroline Lavelle, Louise Patricia Crane on vocals and Jakko’s son Django on bass guitar.

Voyager Return With New Single “Seen Better Days” After Danny Estrin’s Cancer Battle

0

Renowned for their signature blend of uplifting yet melancholic progressive pop metal, Australia’s national treasures Voyager have returned after an unplanned hiatus. In a turbulent twist of events following the band’s post-Eurovision success, the upwards trajectory of the band took an unexpected downturn in September 2023, with vocalist Danny Estrin being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

Having undergone a significant amount of treatment since then, the future of Voyager was always uncertain. The band cancelled all international touring plans, and for a while it was uncertain if Danny would even be able to sing again. The sense of universal devastation felt for Danny and the band was palpable, and the outpouring of love and support from Voyager’s longtime and newfound fans provided solace in challenging times.

Now, Voyager return, with new single ‘Seen Better Days’.

‘Seen Better Days’ is a song borne out of the adversity that Danny and the band have faced these past 18 months, and it breathes new life and a new outlook for the band, whose strength and determination knows no bounds. Nobody knows what the future holds, but the present holds new music, and this song is a powerful reminder of the vulnerability of life.

Danny says this about the song, “Difficult times yield dark music. It won’t come as a surprise that ‘Seen Better Days’ is a personal account of the 18 months of hell, through chemotherapy, radiation and surgery that I have endured. Embracing the beautiful love and support I have received from friends, family and fans while often putting on a brave face in the horrid abyss of stage 4 cancer is no easy feat, so I felt it was right to put it to words and music. Somehow as brutally vulnerable as the song is, it still maintains an uplifting melancholy and, despite its crushing ending, manages a breath of optimism through the bleakness… after all, life is beautiful.”

The Rasmus Unveil New Single “Break These Chains” ft. Niko Vilhelm Ahead of Album ‘Weirdo’

0

6x Platinum and 8x Gold-certified, record-breaking Finnish rock outfit THE RASMUS hold nothing back on their new track, the toxic love-themed “Break These Chains” ft. Niko Vilhelm of Blind Channel. It’s out via Better Noise Music and Playground Music. Driven by the band’s signature blend of dark atmospheres and anthemic melodies, the emotionally gripping song is taken from the album “WEIRDO“. It arrives September 12, marking their 11th studio album and first for Better Noise Music. Pre-orders and limited edition merchandise bundles are available now HERE.

“‘Break These Chains’ is about a toxic relationship,” says singer Lauri Ylonen, who digs his teeth into such lethal lyrics as “You made me believe/That true passion makes you bleed/So I stayed too long/To play your twisted games.” Lauri wrote the song with revered hit songwriters/producers Marti Frederiksen and Desmond Child. “It’s about letting go of something that you know is bad for you, but you’re obsessed with.”

For “Break These Chains,” THE RASMUS called on Niko Vilhelm (of the Finnish Nu Metal band Blind Channel) to make a special guest vocal appearance. “The Rasmus are heroes of mine, so obviously I was excited when Lauri called me and asked me to be a part of this song. Even more so when I heard the track. The heavier sound suits them soooo well. I’m so hyped about where they’re headed and what’s to come.”

Most of the songs on WEIRDO were written by Lauri Ylonen, Desmond Child (who contributed to the band’s BLACK ROSES and RISE albums and has worked with Bon Jovi, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, among countless others) and Marti Fredriksen (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Veil Brides) in Folegandros, Greece. That’s where Lauri and Desmond met up to work on material that Lauri brought. THE RASMUS then did full band demos of all the tracks in Finland in July 2023, with production led by Frederiksen and Child.

Later, they finalized the songs and recorded the album with the whole band in Marti Fredriksen’s Sienna Studios in Nashville. Some of the tracks were mixed by Fredriksen in Nashville, assisted by Evan Fredriksen, while other mixes were done by Chris Baseford (Nickelback, Shinedown, Daughtry) in Vancouver, Canada and by Claudius Mittendorfer (Panic! At The Disco, We Are Scientists) in London, and Joseph McQueen (Bad Wolves, As I Lay Dying, From Ashes To New) in Los Angeles. Additional production by McQueen injects a fresh intensity into tracks like “Creatures of Chaos” and “Break These Chains,” while Ylonen himself takes the helm on “Rest in Pieces” alongside Alex Mattson.

The album’s second single “Creatures of Chaos” arrived March 28, with the video racking up over 521k views. It followed the album’s first single “Rest In Pieces,” released October 25, 2024, paired with a lyric video which now has amassed over 556k views.

“I find it comforting that our 11th album, WEIRDO, has pretty much the same message as on our first album released in 1996,” says Lauri. “It is to defend and praise the ones who are different from the masses and proudly being themselves as they are. It has been our philosophy from the very beginning.”

Ylonen explains the power behind being a “weirdo.” “In this society I’ve always felt that I’ve had to prove myself for being the way I am or doing the things I do. I’ve always felt like an outsider not fitting the norm. I’ve been called a weirdo, misfit and a freak. That used to make me angry-but not anymore. It’s become my source of strength and confidence. I’ve realized the power of it. All the people I find exciting and inspiring are somehow strange. We, the Weirdos, unite and feed off people’s judging attitudes. The fact is they’re just afraid of us. Afraid of our capability to create new and change the future. Are you a Weirdo? Join us…”

With its uncompromising vision and unapologetic message, “WEIRDO is poised to be THE RASMUS’ most ambitious and impactful album yet.

“WEIRDO” Tracklisting:
1. Creatures of Chaos
2. Break These Chains
3. Rest in Pieces
4. Dead Ringer
5. Weirdo
6. Banksy
7. Love Is a Bitch
8. You Want It All
9. Bad Things
10. I’m Coming for You

THE RASMUS will bring their unforgettable stage show to audiences worldwide in 2025 on the “Weirdo Tour.” They recently concluded a month-long U.S. trek with The Funeral Portrait, and are now in the midst of their own North American headlining tour, which kicked off May 3 in Atlanta, GA. Tickets are on sale now for its European leg (9/12 – 12/6); see the full dates listed below.

It’s been a while since we went on tour, so we’re really excited to be heading out all over the world in 2025,” exclaims Lauri Ylönen. “It’s shaping up to be a massive tour and there’s more dates to come. We can’t wait to hang out with our fans. It’s going to be fun to see them again, we’re like family.

Meanwhile, The Rasmus will play a charity concert in Ukraine on July 19 as the headliner of the Atlas Festival, as the only foreign artist at the event. The band wants to do their part to help Ukraine. Over 60,000 people are expected to be in attendance, and there will be a comprehensive security system and evacuation plan for the audience and performers in just a few minutes if necessary. Last year, the festival raised over two million euros for charity. The artists can choose to direct their charitable funds to any Ukraine-related cause, such as supporting children’s hospitals, purchasing ambulances, or helping combat medical personnel.

It’s scary to play in the middle of war, but we want to show our support for the Ukrainian people,” says Lauri Ylönen. We have a massive fan base in Ukraine and we’ve also previously done a joint song with the Ukrainian Eurovision winner Kalush Orchestra.”

SOLENCE Announce New Album ‘Angels Calling’ and Release Single “Where Were You..?” Ahead of European Tour

0

The world can be cruel, but electronic metal group SOLENCE offers a simple cure. The charming quartet of high-energy Swedes is defined as much by their endless optimism as their boundless talent. Their upcoming fifth album, ANGELS CALLING, due out October 3 via Better Noise Music, combines big pop hooks and electro savvy with the heavy yet melodic intensity of trailblazing Swedish metal into a distinctive international sound equal parts hypnotic and uplifting.

Pre-orders for ANGELS CALLING, which include an instant download of the first single “Where Were You..?” are available now.

SOLENCE will hit the road later this year for a European tour opening for Nothing More, which launches November 7 in Finland, along with Catch Your Breath and Ankor. General tickets will be available on Friday, May 16 at 10am CET on their official website.

“‘Where Were You..? is a fast and fun song about a friend letting you down when you needed them the most,” says guitarist David Strääf. “The song really keeps the tempo up with a big chorus, modern production and a very heavy, bouncy and genre bending breakdown!”

SOLENCE returns with fresh visuals, a new look, and a retrofitted sound that combines the best of their past with a look into the future for both the group and the genre. “For some reason, I’ve always felt like my time on earth is limited, as if I might die young,” frontman Markus Videsäter explains. “Our music is about making the most of life, relationships, and passion before heaven calls us home.”

Based out of Los Angeles and originally hailing from Sweden, SOLENCE’s lineup consists of frontman Markus Videsäter alongside guitarist David Strääf, keyboardist Johan Swärd, and drummer David “Viking” Vikingsson. They focus all its energy on uplifting anyone in a dark state of mind to a brighter place. “SOLENCE is all about having a good time,” Videsäter declares. “Our message to our existing fans and potential new ones is that we want to bring the fun back into rock n’ roll.”

“Storytelling is a lot of fun,” he continues. “I write about motivation and how to get myself up in the morning. So, yes, there’s still a lot of that. We bundle it up in a lot more energy and craziness. ANGELS CALLING is so cool. I love every single song. I’m so excited about how massive it feels.”

ANGELS CALLING is the follow-up to their EP BLUE MONDAY (Better Noise Music), released this past January with three new songs: “F**k The Bad Vibes,” “A Banger A Day Keeps The Doctor Away,” and “Who You Gonna Call? (Solence),” which Houston Chronicle highlighted in their “Top 50 Best Underground Music Videos of 2024” list. It also includes two remixed versions of their hit track, “Good F**king Music” by Swedish-based producer MVRE and L.A.-based producer kodeblooded (Asking Alexandria, Charlotte Sands). Stream and download BLUE MONDAY HERE.

The band have built a dedicated global audience on past tours opening for bands including Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, Electric Callboy, We Came As Romans, and The HU, in addition to festival appearances across Europe (Rock For People Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, Resurrection Fest, Tuska Festival, Nova Rock Festival) and the U.S. (Aftershock, Louder Than Life, Blue Ridge Rock Fest). A SOLENCE performance is a participatory sport, with audiences encouraged to sing and bounce along.

Lauded as one of Pandora’s “Rising Rock Artists To Watch In 2023,” SOLENCE have to date garnered over 358 million cumulative streams over 940k monthly Spotify listeners, and over 96 million video views since their formation in 2012. The band started by releasing heavy renditions of well-known pop hits from the likes of Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, Ed Sheeran, Britney Spears, and Queen before breaking out with their 2019 debut album BROTHERS. It was quickly followed by their sophomore album, DIRECTION, which saw them achieve their first Active Rock radio charting with “Animal In Me” which became SiriusXM Octane’s most-played track in 2020. Octane’s Sr. Director, Music Programming Vincent Usuriello described SOLENCE’s sound as “a dynamic fusion of rock, metal, and pop elements, with powerful vocals, electrifying guitar riffs, and infectious melodies, creating an immersive sonic experience.” In 2021, SOLENCE released their third album, DEAFENING, which showed their range of inspirations from music to anime, gaming, sci-fi, and even philosophy and soon followed with their fourth album HOPE IS A CULT in 2023. Amidst writing new material for SOLENCE, Videsäter and Strääf have lent their songwriting skills to pop acts including Jason Derulo and Bebe Rexha.

In 2025, SOLENCE continues to spread its life-affirming message. “‘Until I hear the ‘Angels Calling’ reminds us that life is way too short to worry about doubt or making mistakes,” Markus Videsäter points out. “We never know when our time is up, so let’s make the most of it while we can!”

Here’s the track listing for ANGELS CALLING:

Krang Announces 2025 U.S. Tour with Midwest Dates and Punk Rock Mayhem

0

Czech Republic punk powerhouse Krang have announced that they will be launching a U.S. tour next month. The band blends 90s skatepunk with pop-culture chaos. They’re not just messing around-they’re serious about the craft.

Born in 2014, Krang started as a fun project between four friends obsessed with legends like Millencolin, Descendents, and Bad Religion. But what started as a lark quickly turned into something way bigger. Their breakout EP smashed it, especially with the viral music video for “OK USA!”, inspired by Bloodspor (yes, the Jean-Claude Van Damme classic), which even JCVD shared on his socials. From there, they tore through Europe, Mexico, Central America, Israel, Japan, and the US, building a loyal following. They even scored the chance to support punk icons Useless ID on tour. Keep an eye on Krang-they’re just getting started.

“Howdy pardners! After almost 7 years we coming back to good old USA to shred some songs. This time we do the midwest part so prepare your best dance shoes and see you in the pit! Huge thanks goes to Brandon from Punkerton records and all the promoters who helped us to make this happened!! <3 Fantastic poster made by one and only Joel Abad! Orianthi Announces New Album ‘Some Kind of Feeling,’ Drops Fiery Single “Attention”

0

Critically acclaimed guitarist and singer Orianthi will release her new studio album Some Kind of Feeling via Woodward Avenue Records digitally on June 27, on CD on August 15, and on vinyl on September 19.

Penned by Orianthi, Don Miggs and Gregory Hanson, “Attention” is a classic styled power rocker that marks her second track produced and mixed by the legendary Kevin “The Caveman” Shirley, whose extensive resume includes Bonamassa, Journey, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater and more.

After an edgy, rhythmic electric guitar intro, Orianthi uses her silky, sultry vocal tone to bring us into a compelling scenario where she’s free from a complicated relationship and living life on her own terms now: “I ain’t at the Whisky/Waiting on you/Or staring at the ceiling/Sitting in a hotel room…” Then the groove, propelled by bassist Justin Andres and drummer Demian Arriaga, kicks up, and over more rhythmic, crunchy guitar energy, she tells her former significant other, “I’m sipping on tequila/With someone you knew/And you’re out on tour/Doing what you always do.” She doesn’t specify, but it feels like code for “screwing around like you did on me.”

Orianthi gets to the magic that every fan waits for – her blazing solo action. It’s 30 seconds of wild abandon, pure hyperkinetic rock and roll bliss, a blaze of high notes that allows her to say with her axe something deeper that even the biting lyrics can’t: I’m so over you! “Attention” is best appreciated via its dynamic performance video, which shows a few close ups of her intricate guitarisma. After another run through the hook, Orianthi repeats “I’m done thinking about you” over and over as her guitar wails behind her vocals for heavier emphasis.

Orianthi produced three songs from the new album including “First Time Blues,” “Ghost,” and “Bad For Each Other.” The remaining seven songs on the album, including the new single “Attention,” are produced by Kevin “The Caveman” Shirley (Beth Hart, Joe Bonamassa, Joanne Shaw Taylor).

Though the lyrics of Orianthi’s latest fiery, kick-ass single “Attention,” exposes an annoying ex-lover’s habit of drunk texting to rile up her cooled passions, its title, on a deeper level makes us think about the kind of attention we’ve been paying to the singer/songwriter and virtuoso electric guitarist over the past 20 years. Seems nothing can ever be written about the multi-talented veteran artist without mentioning her collaborations with Alice Cooper, Dave Stewart and Richie Sambora, and the fact that Michael Jackson hired her for his London performances the year of his untimely death.

Equal “Attention” should also be paid to her success as an artist in her own right, starting with her Top 20 Billboard pop hit “According to You” and gold-selling Geffen album Believe, released in 2009. While playing with legends over the years, she’s continued to build her discography with numerous albums on different labels.

Her prolific streak of stylistically diverse singles in 2024 on Woodward Avenue – “First Time Blues” with Joe Bonamassa, “Ghost” and “Some Kind of Feeling” – launches a fresh, adventurous new phase of her solo career, an era of exciting creativity and powerhouse contemporary rock and roll.

With every new single, Orianthi reminds us that she’s at the top of her game in every way, finding fresh, vulnerable yet attitude-filled musical stories to tell, and allowing us to experience the guitar chops that have made her a modern-day rock hero.

Some Kind of Feeling Album Track Listing:

1. Attention (3:48)

3. What I’ve Been Looking For (5:15)

7. Dark Days Are Gone (3:43)

“When I walk on a stage, I know the crowd has come to have a good time and forget about their problems for a few hours. Our music makes them happy – they can stomp their feet, clap their hands, dance around and smile. I love to see that, because it makes me feel like I have a purpose – that’s why I play music.” – Gregg Allman

Though his passing in 2017 has left an immense space in rock ‘n’ roll that can never truly be filled, Gregg Allman Band – One Night In DC, May 15, 1984 stands as a stunning audio snapshot in time that magnificently captures Gregg Allman during his quest to prove that no matter what the challenges, the road would go on forever. Having spent more than three years playing anytime, anyplace, for anyone who wanted to listen, the Gregg Allman Band had truly hit its stride.

The core line-up of Gregg on vocals and Hammond organ, Danny Toler on lead guitar, his brother Frankie on drums, bassist Gregg VoorheesBruce Waibel on rhythm guitar, and percussionist Chaz Trippy had been augmented by the addition of keyboardist Tim Heding, which brought another lead instrument to the GAB. A further advancement was that Gregg was writing new songs with the brothers Toler, which further expanded the band’s repertoire. From the opening notes of “Dreams,” it is clear the band was primed for a great night at The Bayou. The hits keep coming throughout the incredibly energized 12-song setlist, from a swaying rendition of “Sweet Feelin’” which wholly displays Gregg’s passion for R&B, and GAB favorites like “Yours For The Asking” and “Faces Without Names,” to full-throttle takes on Allman Brothers Band staples including “Hot ‘Lanta,” “Trouble No More,” “Statesboro Blues,” and a closing “One Way Out” that leaves the packed house calling for more.

Born December 8, 1947 in Nashville, TN, Gregg Allman was undoubtedly among rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest and most significant artists, his soul-fired and utterly distinctive voice still one of the defining sounds in all of American music. From his founding role in the one and only Allman Brothers Band to his long and storied solo career, Allman consistently proved himself to be an iconic singer/songwriter and exceptional practitioner of the American blues tradition. The award-winning author of such modern standards as “Midnight Rider,” “It’s Not My Cross To Bear,” “Dreams,” and “Whipping Post,” Allman accrued a remarkable list of honors over his five-decade musical journey, including the Allman Brothers Band’s 1995 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award at the 54th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. Allman detailed his brilliant career in 2012’s critically acclaimed, New York Times best-selling memoir, My Cross To Bear, chronicling a truly astonishing life burdened by unimaginable loss, alcohol and drug addiction, told with clear-eyed wisdom and sharp hindsight.

Gregg Allman died due to complications from liver cancer at his home in Savannah, GA on May 17, 2017, leaving behind a remarkable creative legacy that will undoubtedly live on for generations to come. Beyond dozens of studio and live recordings, Allman passed on the opportunity of music to others via two ongoing scholarship funds, The Gregg Allman Scholarship Fund at the University of Georgia and the Allman / Lehman Endowed Scholarship at Syracuse University.
