Mother Mother Release Wild New Spotify Singles Featuring ā€œHOT TO GO!ā€ and ā€œOh Anaā€

0

Today, Mother Mother return with a pair of special recordings made exclusively for the Spotify Singles Program: a gleefully chaotic cover of Chappell Roan’s queer cheer anthem ā€œHOT TO GO!ā€ and a blistering, extended remake of their fan-favorite 2007 song ā€œOh Ana.ā€ Listen to Mother Mother’s Spotify Singles set HERE via Warner Music Canada/Warner Records and Spotify, and watch lyric videos for their version of ā€œHOT TO GO!ā€ and ā€œOh Anaā€ HERE.

The Spotify Singles program, which allows artists to record reimagined tracks or covers in Spotify’s studios, has produced nearly 1,000 recordings from over 750 artists in over 45 countries worldwide and amassed over 10 billion collective streams since 2016.

The release follows a wild run of highly successful headlining dates and festival stops that have taken the globally celebrated five-piece across North America, the U.K., and Europe. The Spotify Singles are something of a thank you to the fans who supported them en route — Mother Mother performed both songs live to rapturous response. Recorded at the renowned Armoury Studios in the band’s hometown of Vancouver, the new tracks capture the unpredictable group’s explosive energy and incredible chemistry.

After months of playing Chappell’s hit in their live set, Mother Mother lovingly deconstructed ā€œHOT TO GO!ā€ and rebuild it from parts: bent guitar and thrumming bass, police sirens and overdriven synths, eerie backing vocals and a chant-along cheer that hits with metal-like heft. It’s pummelling, deliriously fun, and an open call to thrash along at home: ā€œSnap and clap and touch your toes / Raise your hands, now body roll / H-O-T T-O G-O.ā€

Meanwhile, ā€œOh Anaā€ kicks off as it always has — with frontman Ryan Guldemond’s heaving breath ā€” before opening up to a fuller, crisper sound that underscores all of the song’s shifting time signatures and thrilling stylistic swerves. The instruments jump out of the speakers and the vocals swoop and soar through the mix, adding to the manic urgency of the original. Close listeners will notice that the song’s length has been extended by a full 30 seconds, making room for massive prog-rock freakout of a finish.

Spotify Singles Program tracks follow the June release of Mother Mother’s momentous tenth studio album, Nostalgia, — conceived and released as part of their 20th anniversary as a band — which delivers a creative palette as simultaneously expansive and cohesive as they’ve ever offered. The new album fosters the spirit of total originality that fans know and love, while also pushing Mother Mother’s musicality, lyricism, and aesthetics to new peaks. The dozen songs contained within are heartfelt, brazen, dark, and wild, fractaling intense themes through the vibrant imagery of otherworldly landscapes and mythical creatures.

Nostalgia was led by the playfully controversial ā€œFINGER,ā€ which interrogates a series of societal absurdities over an off-kilter, distinctly Mother Mother brand of post-glam and alt-rock. The single came with a suitably insane music video that pointedly pokes fun at domestic expectation, directed by long-time collaborator Sterling Larose (Snotty Nose Rez Kids, SonReal, Claire Rosinkranz). After that came ā€œON AND ON (Song for Jasmin),ā€ a true platonic love letter from Ryan to his bandmate Jasmin Parkin

More recently, Mother Mother shared the official live video for Nostalgia highlight ā€œLove to Deathā€ ā€” a fitting development for the long-percolating track, first demoed in 2008, a live version of which has been trading hands online for a decade now. In looking both back and ahead to make their latest album, Mother Mother have achieved something few established acts can pull off: total creative freedom, resulting in a record that feels both true to their legacy and gesturing toward their next two decades.

2026 Mother Mother Tour Dates:

Blending her signature velvety vocals with smooth, melodic R&B production, the track flips the traditional holiday narrative with Coco echoing that Santa can skip her house this year because she already has everything she needs. Playful yet heartfelt, ā€œSkip My Houseā€ captures the cozy confidence of self-love and gratitude, wrapped in Coco’s signature warmth and style.

No stranger to musical magic during the holidays, Coco continues to drive her lane on the seasonal music scene. She debuted her festive EP Coco By The Fireplace in 2024 and performed a few tracks from it on the notable holiday stage at NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center.

Coco Jones has been making waves lately with her recent series of live performances from her chart-topping deluxe album, Why Not More? (MORE!) – including 5 live renditions of ā€œHit You Where It Hurts,ā€ ā€œYou,ā€ ā€œOn Sight,ā€ ā€œPassport,ā€ and ā€œNobody Exists with London on da Track on piano. Since its April release, Why Not More? has cemented Coco’s place as one of R&B’s brightest stars. The album debuted as the #1 New R&B Artist Debut of 2025, reached #1 in Current R&B Album Sales, Top 3 among Current R&B Albums, Top 10 on the Billboard 200, and Top 15 on the Top Album Sales Chart. It features standout tracks including the 2x GRAMMYĀ®-nominated, RIAA Gold-certified ā€œHere We Go (Uh Oh),ā€ along with ā€œTaste,ā€ ā€œYou,ā€ and ā€œOn Sight.ā€

Coco Jones has captivated the world with her timeless artistry, sensual voice and emotive songs to become R&B’s breakout artist. She signed with High Standardz/Def Jam in 2022 and released the EP What I Didn’t Tell You with the lead single ā€œICU,ā€ which has been certified platinum. In 2024, she was nominated for an impressive five Grammy Awards—including the coveted Best New Artist accolade— and won for Best R&B Performance ā€œICU.ā€ The song was lauded by fans and critics alike and peaked at #1 on the Billboard R&B Airplay chart, leading to Best New Artist wins at the BET Awards, The Soul Train Awards and NAACP Image Awards. With the release of new songs ā€œHere We Go (Uh Oh),ā€ ā€œSweep It Up,ā€ and ā€œMost Beautiful Designā€ Ft. London On Da Track and Future, this next chapter finds the multihyphenate singer/songwriter and actress embarking on her debut album and stepping into an era of empowerment and connection. Coco Jones returned to the Grammys this year for nominations for Best R&B Performance & Best R&B Song. Coco Jones was raised in Nashville, TN by a mother who was also a singer, and a father who played in the NFL. Early on, she learned the importance of following her dreams. She began recording at the age of 9 and was called to acting—first as a recurring guest on Disney’s musical sketch comedy, So Random!, and in 2012, as the golden-voiced love interest in the network’s TV movie, Let It Shine. Since then, she’s showcased her formidable acting skills playing Hilary Banks in Peacock’s Fresh Prince reboot, Bel-Air, which has recently wrapped its fourth season as well as production on an upcoming romantic comedy, That’s Her, in which she is starring and executive producing.

Carter Faith Shares Holiday Two-Pack ‘A Cherry Valley Holiday’ Featuring William Beckmann

0

Rising Nashville star Carter Faith—Amazon Music’s latest Breakthrough Artist—shares a new two-song holiday collection today. A Cherry Valley Holiday features a rendition of The Eagles’ ā€œPlease Come Home for Christmas,ā€ and a new original song, ā€œNothin’ for Christmas,ā€ with William Beckmann—listen here.

The release continues a breakout year for Carter, who shared her highly anticipated debut album, Cherry Valley, last month via Gatsby Records/MCA—get it here. The LP debuted to widespread critical acclaim from Rolling StoneBillboard and The Tennessean, amongst others. She was also named Music Row’s 2025 Discovery Artist of the Year, shared stages across the country with Little Big TownMarcus King, and Noah Cyrus, and announced her forthcoming acting debut in Netflix’s film Heartland, starring alongside Academy Award-winner Jessica Chastain.

Cherry Valley is a document of Carter’s time in Nashville, working chronologically through her breakout successes and gut-punching breakups, new loves and family dustups. It’s named for an imagined place, a road sign Carter once saw that came to signify her creative home, a sweet spot where her old school influences like Tammy Wynette, Nancy Sinatra, Pet Sounds and Revolver meet today’s country. The album synthesizes all that into a signature Carter Faith sound.
Critical acclaim for Cherry Valley…

The songs on Cherry Valley span Carter’s journey from her North Carolina hometown to Nashville, with all the heartbreak, triumph and hazy nights in between. Carter and longtime producer Tofer Brown spent two years crafting tracks for the album before finally entering the studio in 2024 to lay it down. All the while, Carter was working relentlessly to climb the ranks of country music, signing to MCA and Universal Music Publishing Group, gracing the Opry stage a dozen times, sharing stages with idols like Willie Nelson, and racking up hundreds of millions of streams.

Following her Stagecoach debut and runs with Ella Langley and Carly Pearce, Carter joined Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild on the stage of the 18th Academy of Country Music Honors for a duet of ā€œLies Lies Liesā€ written by ACM Songwriter of the Year, Jessie Jo Dillon. Carter just completed a run on Noah Cyrus’ extensive I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me Tourand will perform at Red Bull Jukebox in Nashville before heading back out on the road with Kelsea Ballerini this winter. She’ll join Tucker Wetmore on his 2026 Brunette World Tour for dates across the EU and UK in April, as well as headliner Post Malone atSummerfest in June. See below for full routing.

The Two Lips Release Debut EP ‘girl, c’mon!’ and Announce Coachella 2026 Debut

0

Los Angeles-based indie pop duo The Two Lips release their debut EP girl, c’mon! via Island Records today. The new seven track project includes the previously shared singles ā€œif you said,ā€ which arrived last week with a visualizer directed by Nathan Castiel, and the sweet pop track ā€œplayā€ along with a feature from Rebecca Sugar on the song ā€œhappy for me.ā€ girl, c’mon! introduces the tender punk world of The Two Lips, where the duo explore the complexities surrounding love and friendship.

Speaking about girl, c’mon!, The Two Lips share, ā€œā€˜girl c’mon’ is a love letter to ourselves and everyone finding their way through their twenties. The title is a reminder to pick yourself up, to keep going, even when life feels heavy or uncertain. These songs capture the highs, lows, and in-between of being twenty-five; the heartbreaks, the hope, the late nights ruminating about the same things, and the quiet moments of clarity. It’s us learning to grow and inviting everyone else to do the same.”

The Two Lips also share more about their collaborative track ā€œhappy for meā€ featuring Rebecca Sugar, stating, ā€œā€˜happy for me’ is a song written for us by the talented and amazing, Rebecca Sugar. After meeting for the first time over coffee, we were able to talk about our journeys as artists and the complexities of maintaining every relationship in our lives. After sharing and realizing numerous similarities, we asked Rebecca if we could collaborate on a song. Within 24 hours, she sent us a demo and it was as if she could read our minds. ā€œhappy for meā€ reflects on the bittersweet feelings between love and growth when one partner’s dreams begin to unfold, and the hope that the other will stay close and remain genuinely happy for them through the changes that success brings.”

The Two Lips are presently on their headlining Kiss & Tell Tour across North America, which sees the duo perform sold out shows in Philadelphia, New York City, Atlanta, and Austin before wrapping up in Pomona on November 22nd. The Two Lips will also be making their debut performance at Coachella in 2026, performing on April 10th and 17th. You can find full tour routing below and tickets here.

girl, c’mon! follows The Two Lips’ opening performance for Sabrina Carpenter during her two night stint at BST Hyde Park in London and supporting Malcolm Todd on tour throughout the midwest earlier this year, which followed standalone singles ā€œtalkā€ and ā€œclue.ā€ The forthcoming EP also follows their viral fan favorite ā€œstill love you (todavĆa).ā€ The breakout anthem has surged, garnering over 40 million streams and hitting the Top Ten on the Spotify Viral Chart.

The Two Lips feel like a dream beamed in from another dimension—lush and impossible to ignore. Hailing from the suburbs of Cerritos, CA, Andrea and Jewlz are longtime friends who traded in their day jobs (kindergarten teacher and server) to dive headfirst into the world of music. What started in 2023 as a way to process heavy emotions and untangle the complexities of their lives quickly became something bigger: music that’s raw, immersive, and bursting with heart. Their sound nods to their roots, too—both are Mexican, and Jewlz also draws from her Filipina heritage.

Check out girl, c’mon! above, see full live dates below, and stay tuned for more from The Two Lips coming soon.

Alessi Rose Expands Her Pop Universe with ‘Voyeur (Deluxe)’ and Infectious New Single ‘Get Around’

0

Today marks the release of Voyeur (Deluxe) ā€” the expanded edition of the widely acclaimed EP from breakout pop star Alessi Rose, out now via Capitol Records. To celebrate the arrival of Voyeur (Deluxe), the 22-year-old artist is sharing an all-new and addictively catchy track called ā€œGet Around.ā€ Listen to ā€œGet Aroundā€ HERE and go HERE to stream/download Voyeur (Deluxe) now.

Continuing the full-tilt momentum of Voyeur (an eight-song powerhouse released in July), the EP’s deluxe version features three new tracks from the self-made singer/songwriter/producer. As Alessi recently revealed, ā€œVoyeur (Deluxe) stemmed from me continuing to write on tour after Voyeur was completed and craving some more big, melodramatic pop songs to perform at my shows, whilst also being in the headspace of wanting to write about things in their most raw and uncomfortable honest forms, in real time.ā€

Along with ā€œGet Around,ā€ Voyeur (Deluxe)’s brand-new songs include her latest single ā€œFirst Original Thoughtā€ ā€” a disco-leaning banger penned by Alessi, GRAMMYĀ® Award winner Blake Slatkin (Charli xcx, Tate McRae) and Amy Allen (the 2025 recipient of the GRAMMYĀ® Award for Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical, whose credits include Sabrina Carpenter’s ā€œEspressoā€). After premiering in September, ā€œFirst Original Thoughtā€ drew raves from the likes of Rolling Stone UK, who stated that the electrifying track should ā€œpush her further towards becoming a household name.ā€

In the spirit of ā€œFirst Original Thought,ā€ ā€œGet Aroundā€ taps into the slyly subversive humor and larger-than-life personality Alessi frequently brings to the stage in her magnetic live show. Produced by Adam Yaron (Alex Warren, Jenna Raine), the bass-heavy bop comes in hot as she confesses to a case of delirious desire (ā€œHe’s got this way about him / I’d like to know a little more / He’s got some baggy trousers / I’d like to see them on the floorā€). As she merges her immaculate vocal flow with the track’s brightly throbbing beats, Alessi dials up the playful sensuality at the wildly infectious chorus: ā€œI have it on some good authority / He gets around / Well, could he get around, get around, get around to me?ā€ Reaching a giddy fever pitch at its gang-vocal-fueled bridge, ā€œGet Aroundā€ ultimately puts an empowered twist on lusting for someone despite a sea of red flags.

Also today, Alessi shares a behind-the-scenes look at the official music video for ā€œFirst Original Thoughtā€ — a fantastically choreographed visual directed by Ben Cole (Kylie Minogue, RosalĆa) and filmed inside an old asylum chapel. Go HERE to check out the behind-the-scenes clip now.

Made with in-demand producers like Sam De Jong (Gracie Abrams, Lennon Stella), John Hill (Cage the Elephant, Carly Rae Jepsen), Sammy Witte (SZA, Halsey), and Couros (Dora Jar, Saya Gray), Voyeur spotlights Alessi’s singular talent for turning her messiest feelings into arena-sized anthems. With its gorgeous collision of sticky-sweet melodies and razor-sharp lyrics, the EP includes standouts like ā€œSame Mouthā€ (her Capitol Records debut), ā€œEverything Anything,ā€ (a real-life tale of a problematic ex moving onto her street without warning, featured on V Magazine’s New Music Friday picks), ā€œThat Could Be Meā€ (an angsty alt-rock-edged bop), and ā€œDumb Girlā€ (a slow-building epic capturing the whirlwind of unrequited love). Along with earning major praise from the likes of NPR’s All Songs Considered (who included it on their roundup of the best new albums out that week) and DIY (who declared that ā€œAlessi Rose has firmly secured her status as pop’s hottest new It-girlā€), Voyeur found Alessi featured on the cover of NME, who proclaimed that ā€œpop’s most brutally honest newcomer is on an unstoppable rise.ā€

Tonight in at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, CA, Alessi continues her crowd-thrilling run as support for the North American leg of Tate McRae’s Miss Possessive Tour. After opening for Tate tomorrow night at the legendary Kia Forum in Los Angeles, she’ll resume her own headlining Voyeur Tour with a two-night stand at 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin on November 16 and 17. With two U.K./European headline tours already under her belt (both of which sold out in less than 10 minutes, subsequently upgraded venues, and immediately sold out again), Alessi also recently joined Dua Lipa in arenas and stadiums across the pond on the Radical Optimism tour, then made her Glastonbury debut — a knockout performance that Billboard hailed as ā€œsuperstar-cementingā€ in their ā€œBest Moments of Glastonbury 2025ā€ recap. Go HERE for more info on Alessi’s upcoming live dates.

Growing up in Derby, England, Alessi first explored her creative side through poetry at age 13. With inspirations including pop visionaries like Lorde and Kate Bush, she soon began writing songs and later taught herself to produce while working as a bartender to save up for college. After building a following online, Alessi made her official debut in the summer of 2023 with the self-written and self-produced ā€œsay ur mine,ā€ which amassed over 40K views in less than a week. From there, she released ā€œhate this partā€ and a string of singles leading up to her 2024 EP, rumination as ritual. In early 2025, Alessi shared her second EP, for your validation, swiftly earning a global following with highlights like ā€œIKYKā€ and ā€œoh my.ā€ Named one of the ā€œ15 Rising U.K. and Ireland Acts to Watch in 2025ā€ by Billboard, she also garnered critical praise from tastemakers like Line of Best Fit, and The Face, while a Dork Magazine cover feature crowned her ā€œthe voice of a new confessional pop generation.ā€

Global Icon DJ Snake Drops Genre-Bending Album ‘Nomad’ Featuring Stray Kids, Future, J Balvin, and More

0

Today, legendary artist and producer DJ Snake releases Nomad, a 17-track studio album that transcends borders, languages, and genres. Both a long-awaited body of work and a testament to his deep respect for global music culture, Nomad marks a new chapter in his artistic journey. First announced at his historic, sold-out solo show at Stade de France, the first ever by an electronic music artist, the album captures DJ Snake’s evolution from a young Parisian producer into a defining force in contemporary music. Across its diverse tracklist, ā€œNomadā€ seamlessly fuses sounds from reggaeton, Middle Eastern street music, and baile funk, reflecting the boundless creativity and cultural diversity that define his sound.

DJ Snake comments on the 17-track new album: ā€œI grew up surrounded by people from India, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East. That mix shaped everything I heard. ā€œNomadā€ is a tribute to that upbringing… always moving, always learning, always blending what the world has to offer. ā€œNomadā€ goes beyond an album tracklist.  It’s a cultural statement.ā€

Last week, DJ Snake surprised fans worldwide with the announcement of his collaboration with Stray Kids on ā€œIn The Dark,ā€ marking the first-ever partnership between the global DJ and the K-pop powerhouse. Out today, the track merges Stray Kids’ explosive energy with DJ Snake’s genre-blending production, uniting Eastern and Western music influences in a powerful cross-cultural moment.

ā€œWe met last year at the 2024 Gala des Pieces Jaunes in Paris. We immediately knew there was more to come… I’ve always been amazed with the K-Pop scene, so to now collaborate with these guys who have had such an impact on this genre is an honour.ā€ Says DJ Snake about ā€œIn The Darkā€

Alongside Stray Kids, ā€œNomadā€ introduces several first-time collaborations for DJ Snake, including Grammy-nominated Afro-house artist Bantu on ā€œCompany,ā€ reggae icon Damian ā€œJr. Gongā€ Marley on ā€œBam Bam,ā€ and the debut of DJ Snake’s bass-driven alter ego The Outlaw on ā€œFinal Fantasy.ā€ Fans also finally gain access to highly anticipated new music through ā€œTsunamiā€ with Future and Travis Scott; a nod to Snake’s deep hip-hop roots, alongside solo cuts ā€œNomad,ā€ ā€œMonte Carlo,ā€ ā€œCairo Express,ā€ and ā€œKIKI2000,ā€ each revealing a different chapter of his Nomad journey.

Over the summer, in the lead-up to ā€œNomadā€, DJ Snake unveiled a series of standout singles that set the tone for one of his most profound albums to date. It began in May with ā€œParadiseā€ featuring Bipolar Sunshine, first premiered at his sold-out Stade de France show, a modern reimagining of Phil Collins’s ā€œAnother Day in Paradise.ā€ This was followed by ā€œReloadedā€ with Space Laces, a gritty electronic weapon that flips Marilyn Manson’s ā€œThis Is the New Sh*tā€ into pure dancefloor fire.

Then came ā€œPatience,ā€ a deeply personal project featuring his reimagination of Amadou & Mariam’s celebrated 2008 song ā€œSabali,ā€ accompanied by a powerful music video which sheds light on the realities of migration, offering a sensitive and humanizing portrayal of those compelled to leave their homeland in pursuit of a better future.

Summer continued with ā€œNoventa,ā€ a 90’s inspired reggaeton-flavored anthem which effortlessly fuses cultures, genres, and undeniable star power, reuniting Snake with longtime friend and collaborator J Balvin. Rounding out the season, ā€œSomething Wrongā€ with Don Toliver showcased Snake’s hip-hop roots through Toliver’s unmistakable vocals, while ā€œBring The House Downā€ with Dillon Francis and TRXGGX reignited the energy of trap,  setting the stage for the revival of trap and celebrating the genre’s resurgence.

Over the last decade, DJ Snake has built one of the most globally recognized and far-reaching catalogs in electronic music. From ā€œTurn Down for Whatā€ with Lil Jon, to ā€œLean Onā€ with Major Lazer and MƘ, (Diamond-certified by the RIAA) to ā€œTaki Takiā€ with Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B, and ā€œLet Me Love Youā€ with Justin Bieber, his work has consistently shaped the sound of international pop. The Parisian artist has earned 50x RIAA certified platinum singles, over thirty billion global streams, and headlined some of the world’s most iconic stages — including the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, where he became the first artist to perform on its rooftop.

ā€œNomadā€ journeys through musical styles and cultures, blending diverse influences into timeless dancefloor hits with global appeal. This latest album marks a significant milestone for DJ Snake, highlighting his rare ability to move between worlds, connecting scenes, styles, and generations in ways few artists can.
