Enter Shikari Announce ‘Live at Wembley’ Album and Film as Bootleg #13 Featuring Jason Aalon Butler and Sam Ryder

Enter Shikari have announced the release of their newest “Bootleg Series” of releases, with the unveiling of Bootleg #13, the Live at Wembley album and accompanying full show film, both scheduled for release for 11th July via SO Recordings / Ambush Reality.

Captured live from Wembley Arena on the final stop of the band’s triumphant 2024 UK arena tour, Live at Wembley archives their biggest headline show to date, as they embarked on a fitting victory lap in celebration of the release of their first UK #1 album A Kiss for the Whole World.

The twenty song setlist showcases songs from across the band’s seven studio albums, with songs on the night given live remix treatments, and featuring special guest appearances from Fever 333 / LetLive frontman Jason Aalon Butler and Eurovision star Sam Ryder. The Guardian raved about the tour in their review, saying it “feels like the beginning of Enter Shikari’s greatest chapter.”

It was a show that will live long in the memory of Enter Shikari fans, and be celebrated as one of their greatest ever live performances.

Lead vocalist and producer Rou Reynolds comments: “Our Wembley show last year was one of my favourite in Shikari’s existence thus far. I’m so glad we captured it and can now relive that special evening.

We put a lot of time, energy, and money into the production, and gave our supporters the show they deserved. Despite some technical issues (like losing a couple of cameras’ footage completely!) we hope that the resulting film reflects what an incredible night it was. The swooping drone footage gives people a perspective you don’t often see, and we think our old friend Oleg Rooz on the edit really elevates it above “just another live video”.

Dave Wilkie has excelled himself with the audio. He’s captured the excitement and energy in that arena, which isn’t easy in such a huge space. He was doing the sound for us when we used to play the Milton Keynes Pitz back in the day, and has recorded and mixed a few of our Bootleg Series live albums over the years, so it was great to have him onboard again.”

For the remainder of year Enter Shikari will play European festivals, plus their only UK shows of 2025 on the main stage of Reading / Leeds Festival. In the Autumn they head out on a tour of European countries less frequently visited by the band, including their first headline shows in Spain and Portugal since 2016, before ending the year with a special show at Paris, France’s legendary Batalcan.

The vinyl edition of the album is limited edition of 3000 copies worldwide, with the band’s online store, Germany, North America, Australia and four UK indie stores (Banquet in Kingston, London, Jacaranda in Liverpool, Jumbo in Leeds, Assai in Scotland) all having their own exclusive colour variants.

Country Music Hall of Fame Opens ‘Dolly Parton Journey of a Seeker’ Exhibit With Special Performances by Alison Krauss & Union Station

On Monday evening, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum celebrated the opening of its newest exhibition, Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker. The evening included special tribute performances of Parton’s songs “Coat of Many Colors” and “The Seeker” by Alison Krauss & Union Station. Parton concluded the evening with remarks of her own.

The exhibit focuses on turning points throughout Parton’s more than 60-year career where she overcame obstacles and ignored naysayers to become one of the most beloved and widely recognized celebrities across the world. It is open now until September 2026. The museum will hold a variety of programs throughout the life of the exhibit, including public programs and arts and crafts programming for families. Visitors can find more information on the exhibit and upcoming related programming on the museum’s website.

Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker includes clothing, awards, handwritten lyrics, instruments, photographs, exclusive interview footage and more. Examples of displayed items include:

Parton’s first draft of handwritten lyrics to her classic song and #1 country hit “Jolene.”

A custom-built Gibson five-string banjo with a white metallic finish, rhinestone embellishments and butterfly motifs used by Parton at performances in 1992 and on her “Halos & Horns Tour” in 2002.

A cowgirl outfit Parton wore in the 1980 Hollywood film “9 to 5.”

Hand-painted and beaded boots, designed by Bambi Breakstone, which Parton wore at the photoshoot for her 2002 album, Halos & Horns.

The Kennedy Center Honors medallion Parton was presented in 2006 to honor her lifetime of contributions to American culture.

A Tony Chase-designed lace dress, embellished with pearl beading, Parton wore when she performed the R&B classic “I’m a Hog for You Baby” as a duet with the Muppets character Miss Piggy on an episode of Parton’s ABC-TV variety series, “Dolly!,” in 1987.

The Gibson L-30 archtop acoustic guitar, built around 1935 – given to Parton as a gift from her brother Floyd Parton – which she played in the 1991 music video for “Silver and Gold,” from her album Eagle When She Flies.

The dress, with balloon sleeves, chiffon skirt, bugle beading and rhinestone accents Parton wore at a 1978 photoshoot by celebrity photographer Harry Langdon Jr. The likeness of her on a Dolly Parton-themed pinball machine, made by Bally in 1979, was based on one of Langdon’s photos of her in this dress.

Designed for Parton by Lucy Adams, a pantsuit with bell sleeves, bell bottoms and rhinestone-and-bead embellished floral shapes, worn by Parton when she toured with her Traveling Family Band in 1975, and on the cover of Dolly, her 1975 album also known as The Seeker/We Used To.

An illustrated and in-depth exhibit companion book supplements the gallery presentation, featuring historical photographs and artifacts from the exhibit. The book is now available to purchase here or in the museum’s store. It will also be made available in bookstores and online outlets through a distribution partnership with the University of Illinois Press.

An additional display that celebrates Parton’s community of literacy, created through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, is presented in the museum’s Taylor Swift Education Center.

Scotty McCreery has the Most Added Song at Country radio this week with his latest release, “Bottle Rockets,” featuring the 2-time GRAMMY-winning Hootie & the Blowfish. The breezy new single garnered 110 radio adds at Country radio upon release – marking McCreery’s second single to achieve the honor following 2024’s “Cab in a Solo.”

“I am thrilled and thankful to country radio for making ‘Bottle Rockets’ the Most Added Song this week,” said McCreery. “It’s a dream come true to sing with Hootie and the Blowfish. They are royalty in the Carolinas where I grew up and ‘Hold My Hand’ has been one of my favorite summer songs since I first heard it as a kid. What a way to start the week before I travel to the UK!”

“It’s quite a thrill to have a cherished, old song of ours take flight again,” shares Hootie’s Jim Sonefeld. “Even more special to have a Carolina guy like Scotty reshaping it in such a beautiful way.”

Hootie & the Blowfish re-recorded “Hold My Hand” this spring just for McCreery’s “Bottle Rockets.” (The original version of “Hold My Hand” is on their RIAA 22x-Platinum Cracked Rear View). The track was co-written by McCreery, Brent Anderson, Derek George, Jeremy Bussey, Monty Criswell, Frank Rogers, Bobby Hamrick, Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, and Jim Sonefeld, and produced by Rogers.

Metalcore titans ATTACK ATTACK! are hitting the road this fall for their latest headlining run, the “One Hit Wonder Tour”, bringing their chaotic new era to cities across the U.S. in celebration of their upcoming record, “Attack Attack! Jerry Cantrell Announces U.S. Tour for ‘I Want Blood’ Following Acclaimed Solo Album and European Festival Run

Jerry Cantrell, whose widely praised new album I Want Blood arrived late last year, has announced a new round of U.S. tour dates, kicking off on August 16 in San Diego.

I Want Blood showcases the legendary guitarist and vocalist at his most raw and resolute, blending brooding melodies with searing guitar work and introspective lyricism. The album has received widespread acclaim with the Los Angeles Times praising its “heavy, nuanced songs,” while Kerrang! calling it a “thunderous solo album that you can file alongside his best work.” Revolver, in their cover story on the iconic musician, saying the collection “delivers weighty, slippery riff and the kind of memorable rock hooks he’s been creating since the earliest days of Alice in Chains.”

Tickets for the four-week outing, which finds Cantrell joined once again by Filter, are on-sale this Thursday at 10 a.m. local time. VIP and upgraded ticket bundles will also be available via jerrycantrell.com/tour.

The album is available on CD, digitally, and in multiple 2LP vinyl variants. A deluxe spoken-word edition featuring narration by Cantrell and contributions from producer Joe Barresi, engineer Maxwell Urasky, Greg Puciato, Roy Mayorga, Gil Sharone, Rani Sharone, George Adrian, Vincent Jones, and Michael Rozon is also available both on vinyl and digital platforms.

Cantrell’s previous solo album, “Brighten”, came out in October 2021. The LP was Jerry’s first project without Alice in Chains in 19 years.

Jerry’s career outside of Alice in Chains has consisted of two other solo albums and contributions to major film soundtracks. Cantrell’s first solo album, “Boggy Depot”, was released in 1998, followed by his second album, “Degradation Trip”. In addition to his solo artist work, Jerry has released music on soundtracks for several films, including “Spider-Man”, “The Cable Guy”, “John Wick 2”, “Last Action Hero” and “The Punisher”.

Alice in Chains regrouped in 2006 with singer William DuVall joining the band, and released its third LP with DuVall in the lineup, “Rainier Fog”, in August 2018.

Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band, on the cusp of a Spring tour this June, have announced a run of Fall tour dates.

The All Starr Band lineup remains the same for the Autumnal run and features Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette as well as Buck Johnson on keyboards.

2025 has been a busy year, and saw Ringo release his second Country album, Look Up, on January 10, 2025. Produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett, this chart topping stunning collection won him his first #1 in the UK and was a Top 10 Stateside. They marked the occasion with two star studded performances at the historic Ryman Theater, “Ringo and Friends at the Ryman,” that featured Ringo Starr, Sheryl Crow, Rodney Crowell, Mickey Guyton, Emmylou Harris, Sarah Jarosz, Jamey Johnson, Brenda Lee, Larkin Poe, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Jack White and T Bone Burnett as Master of Ceremonies.

On February 21, Ringo made his Opry Debut, after being invited by Emmylou Harris at the Ryman shows. While in Nashville the Musicians Hall of Fame, in collaboration with Julien’s Auctions, launched an exhibit in his honor, entitled “Beats & Threads,” based on the book they published of the same title. On March 10 “Ringo and Friends at the Ryman” premiered on CBS and continues to stream on Paramount. On March 28th, Ringo released a track from that show, “With a Little Help from My Friends” , with 100% of all global streaming revenue generated by the song from March 28, 2025 through March 27, 2026 to equally support the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity ReBUILDLA to help those impacted by the California wildfires in 2025.

Throughout his career he has received nine GRAMMY Awards and has twice been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — first as a Beatle and then as solo artist. Between 1970 and 2023, Ringo has released 20 solo studio records and 4 consecutive EPs in 2020, 2021 and 2023. He has acted in over 15 films, received an Academy Award, and has been nominated as an actor for an Emmy. Ringo has published 8 books; had a stint as a male fashion model, and that same year went behind the lens as the photographer for some Foo Fighters PR photos. Ringo is also a visual artist and has had numerous exhibitions of his work and his “Peace Sculpture” is on permanent display in the Beverly Hills Park. In 2008 Ringo began dedicating his July 7 birthday to promoting Peace and Love and the movement has grown to include events all over the planet and into the stars with support from NASA. In 2018, Ringo was knighted and in 2019 he celebrated 35 years of touring with his All Starr Bands. In 2022 Ringo received an honorary degree as a Doctor of Music from Berklee College of Music and earlier he was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame with the Joe Chambers Musicians Legacy Award. In January of this year, Starr released Look Up, a country album produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett. It is Starr’s first country album in more than 50 years and earned him his first top 10 on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales chart, as well as landing him on multiple other Billboard charts. In the UK the album reached a significant career milestone, securing Starr his first solo #1 album, overtaking Taylor Swift when Look Up claimed the top spot on the Official Country Chart. January also saw Starr accept an invitation to make his Grand Ole Opry debut, which he performed on February 21, 2025.

Built around a six date residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas, the tour will kick off in Chicago and includes the Bourbon & Beyond music festival. Below are the new tour dates along with the previously announced Spring tour:

Chris Caffery Releases “Then She’s Gone” Ahead of June 13 Compilation Album ‘20 Years of the Music Man’

Chris Caffery releases the new single “Then She’s Gone.” The song is taken from the upcoming collection 20 Years of the Music Man, which will be released internationally on June 13th via Metalville.

“Then She’s Gone” is an unreleased track Chris wrote around the time of the songs for Faces. “I’ve made mistakes in my life, and I’ve made decisions that may have cut someone out of my life,” he explains. “These decisions can be ones you did purposely or things you did personally that had them leave your life. As human beings, we make mistakes, and as the song says ‘I should have listened and learned,’ and some mistakes you can make again…Then she’s gone….”

With 20 Years of the Music Man, the Savatage and Trans-Siberian Orchestra guitarist presents a very personal selection of 21 songs from his successful solo career, which has now spanned two decades. The compilation includes songs from his previous solo albums as well as rare and unreleased tracks that Chris considers too important not to make available to the fans.

Chris says about his selection, “In 2004, I released my first solo record. I wasn’t sure what to expect; I just knew I wanted to make some music on my own. It was a time when I had a lot of questions, not only about myself but where certain parts of my life were heading. The ‘Music Man’ in me decided to use my energy positively. I spent 20 years writing and recording and expressing myself to you. This new release contains some of your favorite songs as well as mine. There are also some unreleased songs and a brand new one, as well.

“I’d like to thank all of the amazing musicians, engineers, and producers who participated on these recordings with me.

“I dedicate this to all of you, my friends. Also to my mentor in heaven who believed in me from the earliest days of my career, Mr. Paul O’Neill, and a special dedication to my mom, who remained my best friend and supporter through all of my rollercoaster rides these past couple decades.

“Thank you all for being a part of my journey and I look forward to continuing the next 20 years and beyond!”

Ice Nine Kills have announced the ICE NINE KILLS: HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR, a brand new US headline run kicking off this August. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will bring the band’s twisted theatricality and cinematic carnage to arenas and amphitheaters across the country, closing out with a homecoming performance at Worcester’s DCU Center as part of the band’s annual Silver Scream Con.

The tour’s lineup spans a cross-section of modern heavy music’s most dynamic voices. From August 8 through August 31, Ice Nine Kills will be joined by Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, and The Funeral Portrait. Beginning September 2, pop-punk cult icons Mest will also join the bill, continuing through the final dates in Florida. The September 13 show at Silver Scream Con will feature Dayseeker, The Funeral Portrait, Mest, and a very special guest appearance by A Loss for Words , closing out the run in chaotic style.

It’s an eclectic bill, and having MEST on some of the shows is a particularly full-circle moment for me. As many Psychos will remember, I formed ICE NINE KILLS after seeing GOLDFINGER and MEST in Worcester 25 years ago. The date is so important to me that I have it tattooed behind my ear.

Bon Scott’s 79th Birthday Bash Set For July 9 With Corey Glover, Peter Shaw, And Jimmy Kunes At The Bowery Electric

July 9th will mark the great Bon Scott’s 79th birthday, and to celebrate, the Second Annual Official Bon Scott Birthday Bash will take part that day at the Bowery Electric in NYC.

The event will feature Living Colour’s Corey Glover, Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Peter Shaw, and Cactus’ Jimmy Kunes, among many others. Special guest openers Ravagers.

The Bon Scott Estate, along with their exclusive merchandising partner Perryscope Productions, will also celebrate with a series of new collaborations with Knucklebonz, Dixxon Flannels, Collectionzz Posters, and Jungle Merchandise in Australia. All info can be found here.

Additionally, this year marks the 50-year mark since AC/DC’s classic debut album, High Voltage – which spawned such all-time classic rock anthems as “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock n’ Roll),” “Live Wire,” and “TNT,” among others. Also, if you caught AC/DC on their current PWRUP tour, you would have been treated to 10 (out of 21) Bon-era songs.

Few rock singers were as unforgettable – and have proved as enduring – as Bon Scott. As the frontman of AC/DC from 1974 until his tragic passing in 1980 (at the age of 33), his “rock n’ roll pirate persona,” street poet lyrics, and striking image (one of the first rockers to proudly sport multiple tattoos) have made him an absolute legend. Additionally, Bon’s vocals were featured in several pre-AC/DC bands, including Fraternity, the Valentines, and the Spektors.

But really, it is the quality of the songs of the “Bon-era” of AC/DC that serve as his greatest legacy – “Highway to Hell,” “Sin City,” “Whole Lotta Rosie,” “Let There Be Rock,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”…the list is seemingly endless.

How does Bon measure up to rock’s all-time great frontmen? Classic Rock Magazine declared him “The Greatest Rock n’ Roll Front Man of All Time” in 2004, beating out the lofty likes of Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, and Axl Rose in the process.

And now the spirit of Bon Scott lives on with the upcoming second annual tribute show.
