Today marks a massive moment for metal fans as Sylosis has revealed the first concrete details of their highly anticipated seventh studio album, titled ‘The New Flesh’, which is slated to drop on February 20th, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records. The colossal four-piece, featuring the solid lineup of Josh Middleton on guitar and lead vocals, Ali Richardson on drums, Conor Marshall on guitar, and Ben Thomas on bass, did not just announce the record; they also unleashed a god-tier single, the absolutely raging album title track, “The New Flesh.”
The band shared the energy and intent behind this new era, stating, “Introducing ‘The New Flesh’. This is us solidifying the lineup of the band and moving forward with a new sense of purpose and aggression. After having spent so much of the last two years on the road, ‘The New Flesh’ and the songs that will follow from the album have been written with the live environment in mind. There is an energy running through these songs that we’ve never felt on a Sylosis album, until now. We’ll see you all in 2026.” That quote perfectly sums up the intense power driving this new material.
The eleven tracks on the new album promise to deliver that newfound aggression and purpose Sylosis described. The tracklist includes powerful titles such as “Beneath The Surface,” “Lacerations,” “All Glory, No Valour,” “Mirror Mirror,” and “Spared From The Guillotine,” culminating with the title track, “The New Flesh.” This album feels like a genuine statement of intent, cementing the lineup and channeling their immense live power directly into the studio recordings.
To celebrate this monumental release, across January and February 2026, Sylosis will be tearing across the UK and Europe for their biggest ever tour run. They will be joined by an incredible support lineup featuring Revocation from the US, Distant from the Netherlands, and Life Cycles from the US. The tour concludes with three massive UK and Ireland dates, including the final show at The Academy in Dublin on February 22nd. This is truly the dawn of a new, aggressive chapter for Sylosis.
