Armand Hammer, the duo of ELUCID and billy woods, reunites with The Alchemist to release the animated video for “California Games” featuring Earl Sweatshirt. Directed by Shane Ingersoll, the clip places the artists inside a surreal, vintage video game ride. The set opens with “Slide” from the 1998 album ‘Dizzy Up the Girl’, a record that marked a commercial peak and remains central to their identity. London-based art-pop singer-songwriter Oliver Marson today releases new EP ‘Into The Darkness’ via High Road Records, led by new single and EP title track, ‘Into The Darkness’.





“This song was the initial spark for the EP,” Marson explains regarding the title track. “A bit like Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, it explores and confronts the misguided emotions that followed this personal catastrophe. The artwork, a burning house, visually represents the broken place from which this music emerged – a feeling of losing the only person I knew amidst a world that felt like it was ending.”














Draping noirish pop arrangements and bruised crooner vocals in smoke and shadow, the EP pulls Marson’s sound somewhere between a haunted cabaret and woozy synth-led balladry.





Marson’s independently released 2023 full length ‘Why Did I Choose This?’ examined the grotesqueries of British modern life through satirical detachment. This new era is a move inward – with the ‘Into The Darkness’ EP instead reckoning with the existential confusion that arose in the aftermath of a breakup, as Marson explains:





“While the EP originates from a place of desperation, the process of creating it became an act of transfiguration of the soul and an internal healing of these emotional demons. The EP is about the raw act of exposing myself, embracing vulnerability, and being utterly honest with my feelings. My aim was to transform this darkness into something beautiful. There is a part of myself that only truly comes alive when I’m making music. That is where I find the value, and it’s in the creative process that I can fully tap into and express the rawest, most vulnerable, and sometimes darkest corners of my being.”





‘Into The Darkness’ threads together themes of tech obsession, identity dissolution, and gothic romance, with tracks tackling whistleblowing, collapsing systems, and deluded self-help culture, all exploring what it means to lose control in a world obsessed with performance – delivered with the off-kilter noir glamour of London after dark.





Lyrically, Marson drew from his gothic literary heroes – Byron, Baudelaire, Keats – blending their romantic darkness with sonic cues from Serge Gainsbourg, Nick Cave, and Jack Ladder, the result is one of Marson’s most richly textured works yet.





The opening track ‘Whistleblower’ introduces the EP with a sense of mounting paranoia and dread. The mood deepens on ‘Madeline’, a smoky, vampiric duet with Jessica Winter that plunges into the claustrophobia and self-annihilation of obsessive love. From there, ‘Jeremy’ offers a synth-flecked moment of goth-pop grandeur, before the EP descends into its deceptively buoyant closing statement, title track ‘Into The Darkness’.





Oliver Marson is an artist in continual motion, restlessly shaping and reshaping his world. ‘Into The Darkness’ is another clear, compelling step forward.

ouston native singer, songwriter and producer reggie has announced his debut album ‘UNDRA’, out January 23rd, 2026, via RCA Records. ‘UNDRA’ is the self described audition tape and reintroduction to the world of reggie, also known as Reginald Helms Jr. The album title is also his middle name affectionately coined by his aunt as a unique spelling of André and pronounced ON-dray or AHN-dray. A refreshed take on his artistry, ‘UNDRA’ narrates the evolution of reggie as an artist and overall creative.














Out today is the new single “Sometimes”, a relaxed groove that posits a happier facet to reggie’s universe thus far. On the track, reggie leads a choir in a back and forth, contemplating the comforts of being alone versus the community felt amongst loved ones. The single follows the release of “Headstone”, also known as “NEW HEADSTONE need MIX” and “congrats!”, two haunting, soul baring earworms released earlier this year in conjunction with the news of reggie’s signing to RCA Records, where he joins a stable of era defining young artists that includes Steve Lacy, SZA and Blood Orange.





His official audition, or reintroduction, ‘UNDRA’ unspools over the course of a series of rehearsals and trials with 13 tracks that reconfigure soul, hip hop, R&B, funk, gospel and even drum and bass into a sumptuous, slow simmering gumbo. Meanwhile, reggie’s thespian experience, combined with his creative partners, influenced his artistic and intentional visuals and imagery for the album. Overall, ‘UNDRA’ may be framed as an audition to find the self, but along the way, reggie produces a work of compassion and soul searching as a remedy for those in need of spiritual buoyancy.

FREEZING MAN 2026— the one-of-a-kind, two-night winter benefit concerts returning January 9–10 to The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin — has added several standout performers to its all-star lineup of more than 35 world-renowned artists. The latest slate of musicians is confirmed today by Joey’s Song, the non-profit that created the festival, with all proceeds supporting epilepsy research and programs for children with special needs.





The newly-added performers include: John Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls), Gina Schock (The Go-Go’s), Tracy Bonham, Jeremy Tappero and Ryan Smith (Soul Asylum), Broadway lead actor Miguel Cervantes (Hamilton: An American Musical, New York & Chicago), and Jordi Radnoti (from Olivia Rodrigo’s touring band). They join an already powerhouse lineup, including members from Garbage, The Bangles, The Go-Go’s, Belly, Portugal. The Man, Silversun Pickups, Fountains of Wayne, Eve 6, and others. Together, they’ll unite for two unforgettable nights of thrilling collaborations, covers, and spontaneous supergroup jams. The weekend will be emceed by Wisconsin’s own Emmy Award-winning comedian Charlie Berens of “Manitowoc Minute” fame.  All artists are scheduled to perform for both nights.





For the first time in its 15-year history, Joey’s Song will stream one of its musical events live: the “Electric Jam Livestream” for the Saturday, January 10th show at 7:00 PM CT, allowing fans everywhere to experience the full concert online. Garbage’s Butch Vig – also the legendary producer behind albums by Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Sonic Youth – will return as Freezing Man’s musical director. His group The Know-It-All Boyfriends will once again serve as the house band, and in addition, will face off with the all-female “Know-It-All Girlfriends” for a musical showdown in the fan-favorite “Battle of the Bands.” These unique concerts will feature a rotating lineup of rock and pop icons performing deep cuts, chart hits, favorite songs from the artists themselves and everything in between.





Joey’s Song continues to transform loss into hope – it was founded in memory of Joey Gomoll, who passed away just before his fifth birthday after a lifelong battle with Dravet Syndrome. The organization is now celebrating its 15th year and has raised more than $1.75 million through concerts and events featuring some of the biggest names in rock, alternative, and pop music – from Grammy winners and nominees and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees to Top 40 hitmakers and alternative rock icons. 





“The ‘Electric Jam Livestream’ gives fans all over the world a front-row seat to one of the most unique concert experiences anywhere—every song, every collaboration, every surprise,” said Michael Gomoll, Joey’s father and founder and CEO of Joey’s Song. “Whether you’re in the room or watching online at home, you’re helping make a real difference. It’s more important than ever that we keep supporting epilepsy research to help us get closer to finding a cure, and we hope Freezing Man 2026 will help raise awareness about this much-misunderstood neurological disorder.”

An intimate, seated evening of acoustic performances and storytelling from the artists.





Saturday, January 10 – “Electric Night”
