Brooklyn and Sheffield will meet in Los Angeles this fall, when LCD Soundsystem and Pulp come together for a historic two-night engagement at the Hollywood Bowl. The shows, which take place September 25 and 26, are the only confirmed dates to feature this iconic double bill.
LCD Soundsystem kicked off 2025 with the announcement of 10 new shows in five North American cities. Following a March 7 appearance at the M3F Music Festival, the new LCD U.S. headline dates began March 8 at San Diego’s Gallagher Square at Petco Park, and will resume April 22-24 at Emo’s in Austin, April 26-27 at The Factory in Deep Ellum in Dallas, April 30-May 1 at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans, and May 3-4 at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta.

Phil Vassar, the multi-award-winning singer-songwriter and piano-pounding hitmaker, is bringing his fiery keys and signature sound to stages across the nation for the “25 Years of Paradise” Tour. The 15-date (and counting) trek, kicking off May 30 at Freedom Country Fest, marks a milestone moment – celebrating the 25th anniversary of his era-defining smash “Just Another Day in Paradise.”
Vassar (who has written 10 #1 Hits and 27 Top 40 songs) is bringing fans a night of pure nostalgia and non-stop energy – packed with chart-topping hits, fan favorites, and the signature charisma that’s made him one of country music’s most enduring voices. In addition to performing “Just Another Day in Paradise,” the “25 Years of Paradise” Tour will feature timeless originals and dynamic covers of musical icons like Billy Joel and Elton John, breathing new life into his catalog with a fresh, ever-changing setlist each night. “It’s amazing to see people singing along who weren’t even born when the songs came out,” Vassar shares.
Since bursting onto the scene with a piano and a dream, Vassar has carved out a career defined by heartfelt lyrics, infectious melodies, and electric live shows. The platinum-selling single “Just Another Day in Paradise” wasn’t just a No. 1 hit – it became an anthem for everyday love and family life, earning him a permanent place in the hearts of fans across America. “I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since ‘Paradise,'” Vassar says. “It’s the song that started everything for me as a solo artist, and I still love playing it night after night. This tour is about celebrating the fans who have been with me from the start – and making some new memories along the way.”
This tour isn’t just a celebration – it’s a statement. A life-altering heart attack and stroke in 2023 that nearly claimed his life reshaped Vassar’s outlook. “You can’t outrun your genetics, but you can take care of yourself,” he reflects. His recovery has prompted a shift toward a calmer, more grateful life. “I’m way calmer now than I used to be. I’ve learned to enjoy the moment,” he says, now embracing life with renewed perspective.
A prolific talent in Nashville, Vassar’s songwriting career blossomed in the mid-’90s. He secured a publishing contract with EMI and penned hits for country stars like Collin Raye (“Little Red Rodeo”), Alan Jackson (“Right on the Money”), Tim McGraw (“My Next Thirty Years,” “For a Little While”), Jo Dee Messina (“Bye Bye,” “Alright”), and Blackhawk (“Postmarked Birmingham”). By 1998, Vassar had signed a record deal with Arista and was honored as ASCAP’s Country Songwriter of the Year in both 1999 and 2001.
With nine albums to his name, two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year awards, and recognition as ACM’s Top New Male Vocalist, Vassar’s reign of chart-topping singles includes 10 No.1 hits and 27 Top 40 tracks. Standout songs like “Carlene,” “Six-Pack Summer,” and the enduring “Just Another Day in Paradise” showcase his signature style. His songwriting, whether penned for himself or others, is deeply rooted in authenticity. Randy Rogers Band has released the emotional music video for their latest single, “Break Itself.” The video made its broadcast debut on CMT Music and is now spinning across the 24-hour music channel.
The music video follows a family struggling with the balance of family life and work that takes them from home and their loved ones. Directed by the band’s bass guitarist, Jon Richardson, we see a hardworking family man who is often taken away from home for his job and the difficult choices that must be made – leading to a shocking conclusion.
“Break Itself,” written by Rogers, Parker McCollum and Randy Montana, is the band’s first new music release in two years. The single marks the start of the next chapter of music from the Texas legends who have been in the studio with producer, Jedd Hughes. More new music from Randy Rogers Band this year as the group hones an elevated sound that still mirrors the heart of Texas.
The band is currently out on the road headlining shows in their home state of Texas with additional shows scheduled with Parker McCollum for his Parker McCollum Tour and can be seen at Country festivals throughout the summer.
On the heels of releasing his third studio album, Eagle Feather, via Warner Music Nashville, Ian Munsick is debuting the official music video for “Horses Not Hearts” today.
Highlighted by Rolling Stone as a “tongue-in-cheek, high-tempo promise of love,” “Horses Not Hearts” was written by Andy Albert, Michael Tyler and Ben Stennis, and debunks the common trope that often paints cowboys as heartbreakers on the run.
The music video, directed by Dustin Haney, was filmed across Sheridan, Wyoming and Decker, Montana. The video opens with renowned horse trainer and Munsick’s family friend Buck Brannaman, affectionately referred to as “The Horse Whisperer,” intertwining the transferable life lessons that come with the process of breaking a horse.
Throughout the 3:49, the video conveys the passing of time in a relationship, panning between Brannaman and his wife, Mary, while starring Reata and Gabe Clark as the younger version of the couple, ultimately conveying the steadfastness of their love.
The “Horses Not Hearts” music video follows the release of the official music video for “Feather In My Hat ft. Lainey Wilson” on April 18. Billboard notes of the duet that Wilson and Munsick’s “sonorous renderings infuse the song with a soulful charisma,” while American Songwriter applauds the song’s “heart-swelling language.”
For a good portion of 2024, Munsick was on the road with Wilson. While on the road, he cooked up the deeply personal and delicately poignant “Feather In My Hat.” Munsick knew that if Wilson lent her vocals, it would give it another layer of emotional depth. After a show at New York City’s legendary Radio City Music Hall, Munsick asked Wilson if she’d contribute her vocals. The answer was a resounding yes.
’90s alt-rock icons the Spin Doctors released “The Heart Of The Highway,” the third single from their newly released LP Face Full of Cake. Tackling the transient nature of life as an artist, the song is drenched in psychedelic guitars and zigzaging percussion – all tied together by Chris Barron’s unmistakable vocal delivery.
Next month, the band will play a special album release show at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on April 12 followed by a four-night residency at Park City’s Egyptian Theatre in June and appearances at major festivals like Boston Calling, Bourbon & Beyond and Oceans Calling. This summer, they’ll also hit the road for a tour with Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms.
“One of the ongoing themes of this band is the juxtaposition of living your dream and doing what you love,” says Barron. “But paying the price of being away from home and the people that you love in order to do that. The song is a bit of a poem about how it feels to be far from home.”
From the album, the band has shared the nostalgic “Rock ‘N’ Roll Heaven,” which imagines an afterlife where the beer stays cold and the amps go up to 11, and “Still A Gorilla” which showcases a noisier, heavier sound and garnered praise from Rolling Stone who said the song is “genuinely surprising and fun, led by a marauding fuzzed-out riff.” The upcoming LP marks their debut on Capitol Records and the first Spin Doctors record with new bassist Jack Daley who joined the band full-time in 2021, rounding out the four-piece including Barron, guitarist Eric Schenkman and drummer Aaron Comess. Recorded at Daley’s Asbury Park, NJ studio, the album features a combination of the easy-going hook-forward songs and freewheeling jam sensibilities they’ve always exhibited with bluesy funk flavor and straightforward rock’n’roll.
“Spin Doctors fans are going to be knocked out by this new record,” shares Barron. “It’s got that vintage Spin Doctors sound of ear candy and denser material that harkens back to Pocket Full Of Kryptonite but with years of experience under our belts.”
Formed in 1988 in New York City, Spin Doctors’ full-length 1991 debut Pocket Full of Kryptonite sold over ten million copies across the world and spawned two massive singles: “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong,” which reached number two on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, and the now ubiquitous Billboard Hot 100 Top Ten hit “Two Princes,” which was the No. 1 Rock radio hit of 1993 and was nominated for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group at the GRAMMYs. They’ve appeared on SNL, played major festivals like Glastonbury and opened for The Rolling Stones. And after three decades and nearly two thousand shows, Spin Doctors remain as committed as ever.

Banjoists Alison Brown and Steve Martin team up with bluegrass icon, vocalist/mandolinist Tim O’Brien, on their new single “5 Days Out, 2 Days Back,” their latest collaboration which will be included as part of a collection of songs by Brown and Martin to be released this year via Compass Records.
Martin’s lyrics tell a story familiar to all touring musicians of balancing life on the road with the pull of loved ones at home. Coupled with O’Brien’s warm, emotive vocals and Brown’s fresh yet familiar melody, the song has a modern sensibility while still connecting to bluegrass and folk traditions.
Martin says: “I’m so happy to be back playing with Alison, Tim O’Brien and all the great musicians I’m so fortunate to work with. “5 Days Out, 2 Days Back” is Alison’s and my tribute to all us road musicians.”
Brown thought from the start that O’Brien’s inimitable voice and rhythmic mandolin style would be a perfect fit for the song. “Tim is one of the all-time greatest singers in bluegrass. From the first demo we recorded together, he brought the perfect energy and spin to it, drawing on his many years of touring to bring the story to life.”
O’Brien comments: “Alison Brown and Steve Martin compress a year of a touring musician’s life into a few minutes on their new single. Our protagonist finds a path between the conflicting pulls of family and the road, plus I sing it really good!”
