New LEGO Set Celebrates Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Fans of the 1971 classic film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will absolutely love the new LEGO set celebrating the movie, out now, The massive 2,025 piece kit recreates the magical Chocolate Room, featuring the vibrant Loompaland chocolate river and the incredible chocolate waterfall. The set will also include the iconic Wonkatania boat, where Willy Wonka and the Golden Ticket winners can be seated for a ride down the river.

Global Country Force Josh Ross Releases New Single “My Side Of Town”

Global country force Josh Ross has released his latest single, “My Side Of Town,” which is available everywhere out now via Universal Music Canada and MCA. The song immediately resonated with Ross when it was pitched to him, as small towns often hear only one side of a two sided story. Written by Jimmy Robbins, Seth Ennis, Josh Miller, and Abram Dean, the track spells out the harsh consequences of the rumor mill, with Ross stating, “This song is for anyone who’s lived that—myself included.” This latest release arrives following an incredibly successful period for the artist, who recently earned six CCMA nominations, tying with Cameron Whitcomb as this year’s most nominated artist across major categories including Fans’ Choice Award and Entertainer of the Year.

Ross’ highly anticipated full length debut album, ‘Later Tonight’, is also available everywhere out now. Produced by longtime collaborator Matt Geroux, who also helmed Ross’s JUNO Award winning EP ‘Complicated’, the fifteen track collection doubles down on the emotive, rock tinged country that has defined his worldwide ascent. The album includes the U.S. Radio No. 1 hit “Single Again,” as well as the title track “Later Tonight,” “Hate How You Look,” and “Leave Me Too,” along with the high profile collaboration “Drunk Right Now (Na Na Na)” featuring Akon. The album showcases why Ross is a dominant force in country music, confirming his performance at the 2025 CCMA Awards in Kelowna, BC, Canada’s biggest night in Country music, which aired live on CTV on September 13th.

The track features an emotional collaboration with The National’s frontman Matt Berninger. “Disaster” marks a bold shift for Julia Laws toward a heavier sound with a raw intensity that maintains her signature emotional vulnerability, featuring cathartic vocals soaring over edgy guitars and relentless percussion, complemented by Berninger’s unmistakable baritone.

The collaboration was first introduced to audiences during Matt Berninger’s North American tour, where Ronboy served as the opening act and played as a member of Berninger’s band, performing the track at every show. Laws shared her personal connection to the song, saying, “Being hard on myself is usually a conversation I have within the privacy of my own mind. But now Matt is responding to my thoughts… publicly. It’s emotional in itself having him on this song.” Berninger added, “Ronboy has a way of blending tenderness and ferocity like no other artist I know. ALA.NI Releases Third Single “Ton Amour” Off New Album ‘Sunshine Music’

Paris based singer songwriter ALA.NI has released “Ton Amour,” the third single from her album ‘Sunshine Music’, which is out now via Nø Førmat Records. The song pairs a reggaeton tinged backdrop with her signature jazz vocals and pop melodies to create an almost menacing sonic landscape. This follows the recent single “This Is Why,” an introspective bossa nova number, and comes with a visually stunning music video shot in Port Royal, Jamaica, and directed by ALA.NI herself. The album hums with the memory of the heat from her two and a half year sojourn in the Caribbean, stitching together a tapestry of influences from calypso, jazz, bossa nova, and the great postwar songbook.

When asked about the origins of “Ton Amour,” ALA.NI spoke of a disturbing experience, saying, “I was on the beach with a friend, upset, trying to understand what had happened—how this person had emotionally trapped me and found pleasure in my distress. The situation was clearly becoming dangerous. I knew I had to leave; at least this experience led to a song.” Beyond the personal tales, the album also reaches outwards, calling for reparations and confronting the legacy of colonial theft. Born to Grenadian parents and raised in London, ALA.NI has built a reputation as a distinctive voice beyond easy classification, having collaborated with artists as diverse as Mary J. Blige, Iggy Pop, and Jon Batiste.

Susanna Hoffs Releases Duet Covers “Happy Together” and “Love Hurts”

Susanna Hoffs has released two compelling new collaborations that will be featured in the upcoming film The Roses, a reimagining of the 1989 classic The War of the Roses. The film, directed by Jay Roach and starring Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch, will be in theaters on August 29th, with The Roses soundtrack available everywhere out now on Hollywood Records. Hoffs’ collaborations include “Happy Together” featuring Rufus Wainwright, and “Love Hurts” featuring Eric D. Johnson of Fruit Bats and Bonny Light Horseman.

Hoffs shared her deep connection to the tracks, noting that after seeing an early version of the film, she knew “Love Hurts” would be conceptually perfect, adding that she always loved the Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons version. She described her recording with Eric D. Johnson, saying, “Singing live together, close to one another, is always so special.” Hoffs also praised her collaborator on the other track, saying, “Rufus is so emotional in his singing, and I’ve always loved that. The tone and beauty of his voice always dazzles me.” Hoffs, who released her debut novel This Bird Has Flown in 2023, continues her prolific career with her recent albums and these dynamic new singles.

Torchbearers of southern rock Blackberry Smoke have released their spirited rendition of the Bad Company classic, “Run with the Pack,” which is available everywhere out now. This track is the latest preview from the forthcoming all star tribute album, ‘Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute to Bad Company’, out now via Primary Wave Music. Bad Company co founder and vocalist Paul Rodgers contributes background vocals on the track, while Brann Dailor of Mastodon plays percussion and also provides background vocals. Both legendary artists are featured in the official live studio session video that accompanies the single.

Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke praised the original, saying, “Bad Company has always been one of those bands that just hits you in the chest – raw, soulful and real. ‘Run with the Pack’ is like a masterclass in groove and grit. There’s simplicity to it that’s so powerful – no frills, just feel.” Paul Rodgers reciprocated the excitement, saying, “Blackberry Smoke absolutely channeled the essence of the song and everyone delivered from their souls. Cheap Trick’s Robin Taylor Zander has released his airy, sentimental new single “All She Wrote,” which is available everywhere out now via Confidential Records. The track delivers a deeply personal, unfiltered solo effort that follows his previous single “Nobody’s Home.” Zander channels his full creative vision for this new song, writing, singing, and playing every single instrument himself, including guitars, drums, bass, keyboards, and vocals. The track was co produced with rock legend Jack Douglas, known for his work with Aerosmith and John Lennon, and mixed by Douglas with renowned engineer Jay Messina.

Zander, who is the son of the founding frontman for Cheap Trick and now a full time member of the band himself, shared the inspiration behind the track, saying, “The song ‘All She Wrote’ reflects on the struggle of communication while also acknowledging that sometimes, no amount of sincerity can bridge the gap between one another.” He continued, “Musically, the song is uplifting, upbeat, it swings. Serving as the cinematic sequel to their 2024 debut EP, this release is a brooding post punk rush that tackles pervasive societal pressures, unrealistic standards, and the relentless search for clarity. Written during a period when vocalist James Morris was battling chronic fatigue, the songs carry a profound undercurrent of tension and vulnerability, making this their most personal release yet.

The EP was recorded at Irene’s Warehouse in Melbourne with producer Thomas Keyte and mixed by Holy Holy’s Oscar Dawson. It includes earlier singles “Cloud” and “Is It Any Wonder,” alongside the intense focus track and haunting closer “Answer.” The track’s accompanying video reflects the record’s central theme: the constant push and pull of chasing meaning, only for it to continually slip away.
