0

By Mitch Rice

Tired of feeling low, sleepy, and exhausted in life all the time? Mood gummies are precisely what you need to break the shackles and set the record straight. No more morning grogginess, afternoon slump, and post-workout pain.

CBD gummies are here to take it all away. For millions of Americans, Colorado Botanical’s happy mood CBD gummies have now become the perfect morning starter, with their mood-nourishing formulation of full-spectrum CBD extract, L-theanine, passion fruit, Rhodiola rosea, and ashwagandha.

One gummy a day is all you need to power-push yourself through a full day of stress, anxiety, and discomfort. Once you start eating mood gummies every day, your natural emotional balance, energy levels, and mood fluctuations will straighten out right away.

Let’s learn a bit more about these delicious treats and understand how they can elevate your mood, even on the worst day, with the power of CBD and other naturally calming ingredients.

CBD mood gummies made just for you

Colorado Botanical’s Happy Mood Gummies are a perfect solution to take care of daily mood, emotions, and energy fluctuations for everyone. Whether you are a college junior, veteran, or working professional, happy mood gummies can help you power through the whole day without any discomfort and fatigue.

Just take one with breakfast to kickstart your day, and you’ll have energy and emotional balance for the full day ahead.

What are happy mood gummies made of?

Every mood gummy is packed with 15mg of full-spectrum CBD, 2.75 mg of terpenes & flavonoids, Safr, Ashwagandha, Rhodiola Rosea, 5-HTP, magnesium, L-theanine, and vitamin D. All these ingredients work in sync to improve your relaxation, stabilize fluctuating emotions, reduce throbbing pain, and improve immunity and nutrient absorption.

Every ingredient used in Happy Mood gummies is clinically tested and backed by actual results. The formulation contains more than 9+ minor cannabinoids, which further adds to its overall nerve-calming strength. The low sugar content of no more than 2 grams makes them ideal for people on weight loss cycles to include in their diet.

These mood gummies are vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO, making them ideal for people with different dietary preferences. Colorado Botanicals avoids the use of artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrups, synthetic colors, and chemical-based preservatives. Instead, they mix happy mood gummies with the goodness of only natural fruit colors and sugars.

How do mood gummies work to elevate your mood?

When you eat a happy mood gummy, its ingredients get mixed into your bloodstream after breaking down and getting absorbed through the intestine wall. CBD immediately acts on CB1 and CB2 receptors of the endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for regulating your mood, emotions, energy levels, appetite, and sleep rhythm.

The saffron extract solely impacts your brain chemistry in such a way that your mood gets better. The working mechanism is somewhat similar to how antidepressants work, but this is much safer and more natural. Ashwagandha extracts start to work their magic by bringing down cortisol levels, which is the stress hormone, hence effectively allowing you to handle the pressure and stay calm.

Rhodiola rosea slowly gives you slight energy spurts and mental clarity in a similar way as coffee but without any jitters. The 5-HTP straightaway converts to serotonin in your brain, which helps you to manage your feelings and feel contentment. Magnesium works as a relaxing agent and brings down tension in your muscles and nerve cells, effectively making your whole body calm and laid-back.

These mood gummies make you healthy, balanced, and happy from within by naturally supporting your brain and nervous system’s modulating mechanism. Though the effects are gradual and may even take one full hour to come alive to the full extent. For long-lasting relief, consider using happy mood gummies every day for at least a few weeks, as your body needs time to adjust to the cannabinoids.

Ideal situations to experience the benefits of mood gummies

Everyone can safely consume mood gummies as a daily emotional balancer. But there are certain situations in which they can provide extra balance:

  • After a workout or sports event, your cortisol levels and muscular tension shoot up after heavy workout sessions. Taking mood gummies as part of a post-workout recovery routine can help you bring down all that stress and tension.

Plus, its CBD-rich formulation will also take care of any muscle soreness. Its natural ingredients can boost the production of the happy hormone endorphins, helping you to feel satisfied for longer durations.
  • Before Air Travel & Dentist Visit: Many people get stressed and anxious before boarding a flight or visiting the dentist. Taking mood gummies an hour before these events can help you to relax and calm down.

The magnesium present in mood gummies will take care of all the muscular tension, and 5HTP will convert to serotonin to uplift your mood. While in the air, mood gummies will help your body to slide down into a deep, restful sleep.
  • During PMS: Women can especially benefit from the mood-balancing properties of mood gummies during menstrual cycles. The sudden mood dips, soreness, aches, and inflammation that happen during the menstrual cycle can be contained by the calming and healing effects of mood gummies.

The risk of side effects is pretty low, so it’s completely safe for all women above the age of 18. Plus, magnesium levels often dip during those dates, which leads to irritability, and supplementing with mood gummies can cover that gap.

Conclusion

To sum it up, Mood gummies are packed with the goodness of natural ingredients that can take care of your mood fluctuations, energy levels, sleep, and pain perception. Just gulp one gummy before starting the day or right before hitting the bed, and you’ll get to experience nature’s healing power.

Currently, Colorado Botanicals happy mood gummies are the most affordable, safe, and effective option on the market, and you can grab their continuous monthly supply at a great price with their subscription model. It comes in a mouthwatering saffron glow flavor that everyone should try at least once in their life. It’s completely safe for daily consumption, with no major side effects.

RiverBeat Music Festival 2025 Announces Full Lineup, Sponsors & Expanded Safety Measures for May 2–4 Weekend in Memphis

0

Mempho Presents has announced the complete lineup and schedule for this year’s RiverBeat Music FestivalMay 2-4, 2025, at Tom Lee Park. Festival attendees can now plan their weekend to catch all their favorite acts across multiple stages.  The organization is especially thrilled to welcome Orion Financial as the main stage sponsor for this year’s event.

Other stage sponsors include Bud Light, Tito’s, Orbit and additional festival sponsors include Roadshow BMW VIP, White Claw, Cayman Jack, Casamigos, Memphis Tourism, Charlie Vergos’ Rendezvous, Wiseacre, Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, and others.

“Orion Financial is proud to sponsor the Main Stage at RiverBeat Music Festival!  There’s nothing like the energy of Memphis coming together in Tom Lee Park to celebrate the music that moves us and reflect on how deeply music has shaped our city’s soul over the years,” stated Ashley McDurmon, Orion Financial CEO.

This year’s food lineup features an impressive array of vendors, headlined by hometown favorite MemPops and Memphis festival staple Pronto Pups. While FreeWheelin Pizzeria and Hebros Gyros add variety to the offerings, the majority of food vendors proudly represent Tennessee’s rich culinary traditions.

“The festival brings together a dynamic mix of local food vendors, live performances, and community spirit,” said Jeff Bransford, Producer, Mempho Presents. “This year, the event will showcase iconic Memphis flavors, including Corky’s BBQ and Gus’s Fried Chicken, alongside a variety of delicious offerings from both local and out-of-state vendors. RiverBeat Festival is the ultimate destination for food lovers and music fans to experience the heart and soul of Memphis.”

After a successful fundraiser last year, Riverbeat again partnered with Positive Legacy, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit that integrates music and service to benefit ‘people and the planet.’ The partnership will feature an auction including a guitar and drumhead signed by festival artists, concert tickets, posters, and one-of-a-kind experiences.

The proceeds of the auction, taking place online and in-person May 3-5, will benefit Positive Legacy as well as Soulsville Foundation which benefits Stax Music Academy and inspires young people by utilizing music with an intense focus on the rich legacy and tradition of Stax Records.

“Positive Legacy is excited to be working alongside Mempho Presents again at this year’s RiverBeat Music Festival. We are thrilled to be helping to make a difference in the lives of the young people of Memphis, channeling the power of music for good” said Carrie Reppert, Positive Legacy Executive Director.

In a commitment to improving the festival experience, Mempho Presents has implemented significant changes to enhance safety and accessibility at Tom Lee Park. New entrances have been added for both RiverBeat Music Festival and Smokeslam BBQ Festival, ensuring a smoother and more secure experience for all attendees.

While the main entrance remains at Beale and Riverside, festival-goers can now access the venue through additional entry points at the Butler Street entrance and the Bluff Walk entrance near Vance Ave. To optimize security and traffic flow, the Riverside Drive and W Georgia Avenue entrance will be closed to the public.

“In response to community feedback, we have worked diligently to address previous security concerns and implement measures that allow these additional entrances to open safely. Our top priority remains the safety of our guests, staff, and surrounding businesses, while also improving accessibility to downtown parking and local establishments,” said Scott King, Head of Security for Mempho Presents.

GoGo Penguin Announce Bold New Album Necessary Fictions, Share Video for Lead Single “Fallowfield Loops”

0

Today, GoGo Penguin, the Manchester trio known for their blend of jazz, classical and electronic influences since forming in 2012, announce their seventh studio album NECESSARY FICTIONS due out June 20. It’s a bold new chapter in the band’s evolution and represents a deep dive into identity, authenticity, and transformation.

Alongside the announcement is the first single “Fallowfield Loops,” a punchy, melancholic, and danceable tribute to their hometown. The accompanying video — directed by pianist Chris Illingworth and bassist Nick Blacka — features evocative visuals of Manchester’s iconic Toast Rack building, the brutalist landmark seen on the album’s cover, and serves as a visual extension of the track’s mood: stark, nostalgic, and full of movement.

GoGo Penguin’s last album Everything Is Going to Be OK (2023) found the band reeling from almost breaking up, a new drummer in the form of Jon Scott (formerly of Mulatu Atsake’s band), coping with the death of family members, grief, the pandemic, and finding solace in the studio as they journeyed through uncertainty, survival and ultimately, resilience.

With NECESSARY FICTIONS, GoGo Penguin — Chris Illingworth (piano, synths), Nick Blacka (bass, synths), and Jon Scott (drums) — have embraced new textures and ideas more fully than ever before. They are operating from a place of confidence, having truly found their groove with Scott, and Illingworth and Blacka both in their fifth decade, and truly embracing who they are without fear. The album sees them expanding their signature sound, drawing deeper into modular synths, and, for the first time, welcoming other voices into their sonic world.

“This is what we want to make right now, and it feels authentic,” says Blacka. NECESSARY FICTIONS is the sound of a band unafraid to reflect who they are — not just in sound, but in spirit and surroundings.

Kris Delmhorst Announces Final Leg of Ghosts in the Garden Tour with Rose Cousins, Ana Egge, and Jeffrey Foucault

0

Accomplished songwriter Kris Delmhorst is heading back out on tour in support of her highly praised new album, Ghosts in the Garden. Dates begin May 1 in Galway, NY, continue through Maine, Vermont, DC, Brooklyn and wrap up with hometown shows in Northampton and Groton, MA. This is the final leg of a three-part release tour which started in the Midwest in early March and was followed by a West Coast run, with a couple of solo dates in Canada supporting Rose Cousins along the way.

As with the rest of the tour, the Northeast dates will feature the band from the recording of Ghosts: Minnesotan songwriter/producer Erik Koskinen on guitar, Jeremy Moses Curtis (Booker T, Jeffrey Foucault) on bass and Ray Rizzo (Josh Ritter, Anaïs Mitchell, Amy Helm) on drums. Erik Koskinen will play an opening set in Galway, Bennington, and Waterbury. Jeffrey Foucault, one of several guest singers on the album as well as Delmhorst’s husband, shares the show in Brownfield, ME. Acclaimed Canadian songwriter Rose Cousins, who also provides guest vocals on Ghosts, opens the final four shows and Brooklyn’s own Ana Egge, yet another guest on the album, will also join the bill in Brooklyn.

Ghosts in the Garden marks the first release for Delmhorst since 2020’s Long Day in the Milky Way. The tours for that project were sidelined by the pandemic, so it’s been since 2017’s The Wild that she’s been able to properly launch a new album. “I felt a little nervous bringing this record on the road – it’s a collection of songs that deal intimately with grief, loss, and irrevocable change, and I wasn’t sure how it would be received,” she says. “What I’d hoped for in sharing it live was a sense of connection, a communal deep dive into emotion and vulnerability, and it’s felt like that night after night on this tour. It feels like a really useful antidote to this time of turmoil and distress, just to be in a room full of people willing to soften together, willing to share their humanity.”

Released on March 7th, Ghosts in the Garden, Delmhorst’s 10th album, has received raves from the likes of No Depression, “Delmhorst has created yet another Americana masterpiece”, American Songwriter, “It would be hard to imagine a more compelling set of songs” and Americana Highways “… a grand seduction of a record by an artist who has always been true to her heart and has perfected the art of digging deep to deliver spirited, nourishing compositions with lyrics which do far more than rhyme.”

Ghosts in the Garden is a gorgeous and searching album, a layered, kaleidoscopic meditation on grief, loss, and fate. Inhabiting the songs are a host of vivid spirits made tangible: the departed and the disappeared, sins and their consequences; lost loves, missed chances, and the invisible sorrows that accompany us all. With richly observed details and finely calibrated emotional range, Delmhorst finds the wavelength that illuminates these multitudes. Having summoned them, she doesn’t avert her eyes from her ghosts – or ours – but invites them into an expansive conversation about the ways we’re shaped by loss, and woven together by unseen threads of love.

The album was tracked live at Great North Sound Society, a studio built into an 18th-century Maine farmhouse that no doubt harbors ghosts of its own, with a core band of Ray Rizzo (Josh Ritter, Anaïs Mitchell) on drums, Jeremy Moses Curtis (Jeffrey Foucault, Booker T) on bass, and Minnesota songwriter Erik Koskinen on guitars. Engineer Sam Kassirer added keys, and Rich Hinman contributed pedal steel. Finally, Delmhorst invited in a luminous host of fellow songwriters to add vocals to the finished tracks. The guests – Anaïs Mitchell, Rose Cousins, Anna Tivel, Ana Egge, Taylor Ashton, Rachel Baiman, Jabe Beyer, and Jeffrey Foucault – lend unique personality and emotional slant to each track, refracting the songs’ light in all directions.

Kris Delmhorst is an American songwriter, singer, instrumentalist, and producer. Over more than 25 years as an independent artist, she has built a body of work characterized by a wide-ranging, genre-agnostic curiosity and constant collaboration. In addition to nine critically acclaimed studio albums, she’s written music for films and TV, contributed as a producer, player, and or/singer to scores of fellow artists’ work, and performed thousands of shows across the US and Europe. Kris Delmhorst lives in western Massachusetts with her husband, the songwriter Jeffrey Foucault, and their daughter.

CHAMELEONS announces Eastern North American Tour With Psychedelic Furs

0

As CHAMELEONS prepare for their co-headlining tour this Spring 2025 with Texas darkwave act Twin Tribes which begins on April 25th in Minneapolis, they will need to pack bigger suitcases for their North American jaunt. Filling in for Mission U.K. who were unfortunately sidelined by illness, Psychedelic Furs has invited Chameleons to support their Summer tour.

“The Mission have become really good friends of ours and we hope and know that they’ll bounce back soon,” says vocalist/bassist Vox. “Although it has come our way via very sad circumstances, we’re thrilled at the prospect of stepping in and joining the legendary Psychedelic Furs for part of their upcoming North American Tour. I’m sure it’ll be a bill to remember. “

Chameleons have been experiencing a career renaissance of sorts, rejuvenated by a creative fusion of the current lineup which includes founding members Vox and Reg Smithies (guitar), along with Stephen Rice (guitar), Danny Ashberry (keyboards), and Todd Demma (drums). In effect, their fanbase has been expanding as reflected by the growing size of their audiences. “We feel the band is better than ever and it’s nice to see so many people responding to it,” says Vox. The last couple of years have been instrumental for the influential post-punk band whose originals began at the top of the 1980s. The band has garnered some of the best reviews and chart positions in the four decades since their start (their 2024 EP Where Are You? landed the #1 position on iTunes Top Albums).

In addition, Chameleons are gearing up for the release of their upcoming album Arctic Moon later in 2025 which will be their first studio full-length since 2001’s Why Call It Anything. Vox explains, “It’s quite different from anything Chameleons has done before, and I know this will probably polarize the legacy audience, but we’re quite excited about how it’s developing. I think the songwriting is much more mature in a lot of ways, which is to be expected, I suppose, given our age, but I, for one, really believe we’re taking the band forward, and I’m quite excited about it.”

Long cited as a hugely influential act, having inspired the likes of Verve, Oasis, White Lies, The Slow Readers Club, Interpol, The Killers and Editors, among countless others and known for their transformative musical catalog and intense and emotionally charged live performances, Chameleons have created a legacy that extends beyond their four studio albums. Following their debut single “In Shreds” in 1982, the band released three seminal albums: the widely acclaimed Script of the Bridge (1983), cited by many sources as a masterpiece way ahead of its time, its follow-up What Does Anything Mean? Basically!’ (1984), Strange Times (1986), and Why Call It Anything? (2001).

Their unique sound quickly captivated the public through their mix of melancholic yet energetic and powerful tunes, hypnotic, ethereal riffs, and the potent, timeless lyrical style. Chameleons are considered one of the most influential guitar bands of the 80s and 90s, contributing substantially to the post-punk, shoegaze and indie scenes. They are often regarded as one of the most underrated bands ever to emerge from Manchester, England.

Chameleons are Reg Smithies (guitar), Vox (bass, vocals, lyrics), Stephen Rice (guitar), Danny Ashberry (keyboards), and Todd Demma (drums).

If You Love The Beatles, These Solo Albums Will Blow Your Mind

0

When The Beatles parted ways in 1970, it was a sad ending, but also the start of four wildly different, wildly brilliant solo journeys. From protest anthems to dreamy ballads and synth-driven adventures, each Beatle proved they still had something to say. These ten albums—one from each member and a few standouts—show how their post-Beatles careers weren’t just footnotes, but essential chapters in rock history.

George Harrison – All Things Must Pass
The quiet Beatle came out swinging with a triple album full of soul, spirituality, and slide guitar. “My Sweet Lord” was the hit, but the deep cuts—“Wah-Wah,” “Isn’t It a Pity,” “Beware of Darkness”—are where George’s songwriting soars. It was the first solo album to truly eclipse the shadow of The Beatles. Phil Spector’s Wall of Sound production made it massive, but it’s George’s vision that made it timeless.

John Lennon – Plastic Ono Band
Raw, brutal, and unfiltered, this was John with no safety net. Inspired by primal scream therapy, the album strips away the myth and leaves the man. “Mother,” “Working Class Hero,” and “God” weren’t made for easy listening—but they were made for truth. It’s a protest album against pain, and a masterpiece of emotional honesty.

Paul McCartney – RAM
Dismissed at the time but adored now, RAM is Paul being weird, playful, romantic, and quietly brilliant. “Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey” is a fever dream, “Too Many People” a sly jab at Lennon, and “The Back Seat of My Car” a mini-opera. With Linda McCartney by his side, Paul created something homemade yet huge, fragile yet fearless.

Ringo Starr – Ringo
Ringo’s 1973 album is pure joy, full of help from his friends. It’s the only solo album with contributions from all three other Beatles, and it shows. “Photograph” is a heartbreak classic, and “I’m the Greatest” is Lennon-penned fun. This isn’t just a novelty—it’s a genuinely great pop-rock record that proves Ringo’s charm isn’t just behind the kit.

John Lennon – Imagine
If Plastic Ono Band was Lennon’s therapy session, Imagine was the follow-up dream. The title track became an anthem, but there’s more: “Jealous Guy,” “How Do You Sleep?,” and “Gimme Some Truth” all show different sides of John—tender, biting, and urgent. It’s political and personal, idealistic and cynical, all wrapped in lush arrangements.

Paul McCartney & Wings – Band on the Run
Recorded under chaotic circumstances in Lagos, Nigeria, this album turned pressure into diamonds. From the title suite to “Jet” and “Let Me Roll It,” Paul proved he didn’t need the Beatles to create big, ambitious rock. It’s tight, inventive, and endlessly listenable—McCartney at his most confident and creatively free.

George Harrison – Living in the Material World
Overshadowed by its predecessor, this record is quieter but just as powerful. “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)” became a hit, but the whole album is a meditation on fame, faith, and inner conflict. George wasn’t chasing trends—he was seeking meaning, and this album captures that spiritual search beautifully.

Ringo Starr – Time Takes Time
Released in 1992, this is Ringo’s comeback, and it’s criminally underrated. Produced by Jeff Lynne and others, it’s slick but never soulless. “Weight of the World” and “Don’t Go Where the Road Don’t Go” show a matured Ringo, still full of heart and humor. It’s a reminder that Ringo always had more than charm—he had soul.

Paul McCartney – McCartney III
Released 50 years after his first solo album, McCartney III is a return to the DIY spirit. Recorded in lockdown, it’s full of loops, riffs, and quiet experimentation. “Find My Way” and “Deep Deep Feeling” show Paul’s still chasing curiosity over perfection. It’s not nostalgia—it’s a new chapter, still being written.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono – Double Fantasy
A collaboration that became a swan song, Double Fantasy is a conversation between partners. Lennon’s tracks like “(Just Like) Starting Over” and “Watching the Wheels” are reflective and warm, while Yoko’s contributions add edge and art. Released just weeks before Lennon’s death, it captures a man at peace, looking forward.

They may have gone separate ways, but the magic never left. These solo albums are proof that while The Beatles as a group ended, their individual stories only got louder, weirder, and—sometimes—just as wonderful.

This extensive joint run will add to both Etheridge’s and Indigo Girls’ growing roster of exciting dates for 2024 and 2025, giving fans even more opportunities to catch these legendary artists on the road.
