Alex Isley Teases Intimate New EP ‘When’ With Sultry Single “Ms. Goody Two Shoes”

1

R&B songstress and fan favorite Alex Isley will release her new EP, When, on April 18 via Free Lunch Records / Warner Records. Ahead of the project, the GRAMMY-nominated recording artist unveils her latest earworm, “Ms. Goody Two Shoes,” which playfully blurs the line between mysterious allure and a fearless attitude.

“Ms. Goody Two Shoes” finds Alex indulging in her sensual side. Underscored by soul, acoustic moments of desire, she blends swooning harmonies with expressive songwriting, embodying a new level of confidence for the ascendant R&B star. The song is a dreamy and roman#c number that adds another eyebrow-raising gem to Alex’s increasingly stacked discography.

“I ain’t pull those Good&Plenty lyrics out thin air / Come and feel my inspiration, way too good to share,” Alex croons over the intricately layered soundscape. Her velvety, jazz-kissed vocals sparkle against the reverberant piano riffs as she weaves through the composition like a conversation unfolding in real-#me. Switching effortlessly from soul-hinged high notes to staccato rhymes, every line that Alex delivers feels as intimate as a closely guarded secret.

“Ms. Goody Two Shoes” arrives on the heels of “Hands,” Alex’s debut single under newly-minted imprint Free Lunch Records. The release was widely lauded by the likes of BillboardBETOkayplayerRated R&B, and more. It also marked the first taste of her upcoming EP, providing a window into the singer-songwriter’s exceptional artistry.

When – due later this month – follows Alex’s joint album, I Le) My Heart In Ladera (2023), with producer and musician Terrace Mar#n. The collabora#ve release earned Alex her first Billboard entry, debuting at No. 2 on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart.

Since her self-produced debut, Love/Art Memoirs, Alex’s prestige has grown considerably. She has consistently delivered undeniable melodies that resonate with fans worldwide, proven repeatedly with solo releases and high-profile collaborations. Now, When marks the early stages of what’s shaping up to be a prolific run for an indelible voice in R&B – further cementing her status as a once-in-a-generation artist.

Alex Isley was destined for music. As the daughter of Ernie Isley (of the legendary group The Isley Brothers), music and perfect pitch was in the Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/producer’s genes, though she was also surrounded by the timeless melodies that her family collectively crafted. However, instead of just simply following in her family’s footsteps, she opted to forge her own path, one that seamlessly blends Soul, R&B, Jazz, and other dreamy soundscapes. The result is a style all her own. Her critically acclaimed projects like 2012’s Love/Art Memoirs, along withThe Beauty of Everything (Parts One and Two), 2023’sI Left My Heart In Ladera with Terrace Martin, and her NPR Tiny Desk performance all display this gradual progression of Alex’s evolution and sound. Her upcoming EP When is perhaps the most intimate, as Alex is writing in the moment about her journey thus far. The project’s smoothly intoxicating lead single “Hands” echoes that sentiment, adhering to the mantra that the best use of time is being in that moment with the one you love. From grabbing Grammy nods with Robert Glasper to singing background for Alicia Keys, it seems as though in many ways, Alex Isley is music’s best kept secret. That is, until now.

Hard-Fi Celebrate 20 Years of ‘Stars Of CCTV’ with Deluxe Vinyl & CD Anniversary Release

0

British 4-piece Hard-Fi mark the 20th anniversary of their era-defining debut album, Stars Of CCTV with a stunning limited edition yellow gatefold 2-LP vinyl & 2-CD release – out 4th July. This collection celebrates the record that transformed four working-class lads from Staines into one of the UK’s most vital bands of the 2000s, capturing the disillusionment and defiance of suburban Britain. Pre-order here.

Recorded on a shoestring budget but radiating ambition, Stars Of CCTV struck a chord nationwide. The album climbed to No. 1 on the UK albums chart, earned a Mercury Music Prize nomination, and went triple platinum, selling over 1.2 million copies worldwide and over three quarters of a million in the UK alone, cementing Hard-Fi as the voice of a generation grappling with minimum-wage jobs, nightlife escapism, and a rapidly changing Britain.

The 20th Anniversary release features the album in full, never-before-heard demos of ‘Hard To Beat’, ‘Move On Now’ & ‘Gotta Reason’, as well as B-Sides, live versions and a host of special remixes. The original album was only ever released as a limited run on vinyl, so this brand new set will give most fans a special opportunity to purchase the record on vinyl for the very first time.

Richard Archer recalls: “We were skint, recording in a freezing old minicab office, but we knew we had something raw and real. ‘Stars’ was our life – watching mates struggle in dead end jobs, police on every corner, but still finding joy in the weekend. To see it still matter to people 20 years on… that’s really humbling.”

Formed in 2003 by frontman Richard Archer (vocals/guitar), Ross Phillips (guitar), Kai Stephens (bass), and Steve Kemp (drums), Hard-Fi burst onto the scene with their debut album ‘Stars Of CCTV’ (2005), from an old taxi office – blending indie and electronic influences into a sound that captured the spirit of British youth culture. Their 2005 debut became an instant classic, articulating the frustrations and aspirations of post-industrial youth through anthems like ‘Cash Machine’, ‘Hard to Beat’, and ‘Living for the Weekend’.

Hailed by NME as “the sound of young Britain,” Hard-Fi’s meteoric rise also saw them play one of the longest residencies at London’s Brixton Academy – a fully sold-out feat they share with the likes of Bob Dylan, and the Clash, after performing at the landmark London venue for five nights straight in 2006 and bringing on special guests including Paul Weller and The Clash’s Mick Jones.

Follow-up albums ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’ (2007) and ‘Killer Sounds’ (2011) further showcased their genre-blurring vision.

Ed Sheeran Opens a New Chapter with Cross-Cultural Pop Anthem “Azizam”

0

Ed Sheeran presses play on a new era with the release of his new single ‘Azizam’ on 4th April 2025. Available on CD, 7” and DSPs

Get ready to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of “Azizam”. A Persian term of endearment that means “my dear” or “my beloved,” Ed’s new song is a return to joy, to light, to love and to fun!

“Azizam” began as a meeting of minds in the studio with Swedish/Iranian producer Ilya Salmanzadeh (Ariana Grande, Charli XCX, Ellie Goudling, Sam Smith). Driven by Ed’s relentless curiosity they soon realised how much Persian and Irish folk music have in common and how only Ed could set those influences in a pop context. The result is a hedonistic technicolor call to action to live the moment “in between the dancing lights” on the dancefloor until the Sun rises. A celebration of cross-cultural collaborations brought to life, this rhythmic pop song is about the universality of emotion.

Ed said, “Even though it’s completely different to anything that I’ve ever done before, Azizam feels familiar to me. I wanted to create a party atmosphere in a song and Ilya Salmanzadeh, who I worked with on the track, helped bring that to life. He was so inspiring to work with.”

In the video accompanying the single release, Ed embarks on a journey across the US and UK with a pink, heart-shaped balloon in tow. He takes in the sights of New York from an iconic yellow taxi, cruises through Los Angeles in a classic open-top car, and braves the elements in rural Massachusetts. Along the way, he leads a street party in New Orleans and makes stops in Boston and Nashville. And, of course, no trip would be complete without a visit to his beloved Ipswich Town FC.

After closing the chapter on his Mathematics era, Ed Sheeran is finally back and stepping boldly into a fresh new phase for 2025. An artist who has continuously pushed himself, and his craft, into new territory, Sheeran has collaborated with producers and writers from across the globe on his upcoming album, which promises to be one of the years defining pop records (details of which will be released soon).

Crash Adams Kick Off 2025 with Euphoric Pop Banger “Karaoke”

0

Poised for a breakthrough year, Juno Award-nominated feel-good duo Crash Adams return with energetic pop anthem “Karaoke” out now via Warner Music Canada / Warner Records. As their first release of 2025, it has all the makings of a major smash for the pair—aka Rafaele Massarelli and Vince Sasso—and affirms their “Artist To Watch” status.

“Karaoke” shuffles straight to the center of the dancefloor. A thick bassline thumps in between handclaps decked out in glittery disco vibes. Funky guitar underlines the immediately irresistible refrain as the guys issue a cheeky invitation, “Let’s do karaoke on the west side. I want to hit every note with you.” It climaxes with an impossible-to-shake chant.

Meanwhile, the accompanying visual is every bit as vibrant and vital as the track itself. “Karaoke” lives up to its name, and you’ll definitely be singing along with Crash Adams.

About the single, the band shared, “At its core, ‘Karaoke’ is about letting go and having fun, but as we wrote it, we realized it also reflects the chemistry between two people. Singing together—hitting the highs and lows—became a metaphor for connection—how music pulls people together and creates moments you don’t want to end.”

With the release of their debut EP Crashing Into Your Living Room, Vol. 1, the band continued to reach new heights, amassing more than 10 million YouTube subscribers and 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. The pop hitmakers have captivated fans around the globe – touring across North America, Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines – while being named one of the top artists on TikTok Canada (2023) and earning a Juno Nomination for Group of the Year (2025).

Crash Adams’ music has the same kind of mood-lifting power as a hit of pure dopamine. Their cinematic, larger-than-life songs relay a potent, effective mix of adrenaline, nostalgia, and hard-earned gratitude. The duo have an impressive knack for storytelling, citing art-pop acts like The 1975 and country music acts like Dan + Shay as their inspiration for writing tracks that tug at listeners’ heart strings and remind them how beautiful daily experiences can be, given the right framing.

Karan Aujla Releases “48 Rhymes” After Global Hit “Tell Me” with OneRepublic

0

Today, internationally acclaimed Punjabi powerhouse Karan Aujla has released “48 Rhymes,” a high-energy track that blends his signature storytelling with contemporary hip-hop influences. Embodying resilience, pride, and street wisdom, the song’s bold lyricism touches on his cultural roots, struggles, and global influences.

“48 Rhymes” follows up on “Tell Me,” released earlier this year with Grammy-nominated pop superstars OneRepublic and produced by Ikky. The track has gained momentum globally, debuting on charts in India, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the UAE, and Pakistan. Karan performed “Tell Me” at the 2025 Indian Premier League opening ceremony, reaching a televised audience of over 30 million viewers.

Karan Aujla’s rise from his upbringing in rural Punjab to his place atop the global music industry is a testament to his talent and unique blend of Punjabi folk, hip-hop, and R&B. His albums, BacTHAfuKUP and Making Memories, have solidified his international presence. Making Memories, released in 2023, generated billions of streams and culminated in a sold-out world tour that connected him with hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide. This album’s success highlights Aujla’s ability to resonate with a diverse global audience, a position underscored by his status as the most streamed Punjabi artist on Spotify globally in 2024. His influence has extended to Bollywood, where his song “Tauba Tauba” was featured in the film Bad Newz and quickly became a national hit in India. Aujla’s achievements have been recognized with prestigious awards, including his groundbreaking win of the 2024 TikTok JUNO Fan Choice Award, making him the first South Asian artist to win the fan-voted category. In 2025, Aujla has already received multiple JUNO Award nominations, including Single of the Year for “Winning Speech,” and has collaborated with GRAMMY-nominated chart-toppers OneRepublic on “Tell Me,” produced by preeminent South Asian producer Ikky, with much more in store for the year to come.

Euphora MD: Where Natural Beauty Begins

0

By Mitch Rice

In today’s world, where self-care and aesthetic wellness have become cornerstones of confidence and quality of life, more people are turning to treatments that enhance their natural beauty rather than transform it. At Euphora MD, the philosophy is simple yet powerful: Natural beauty is the foundation of true beauty. Here, science meets artistry, and innovation is paired with holistic wellness. With a focus on Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy and expert care from a qualified Botox physician, Euphora MD stands at the forefront of advanced, non-surgical aesthetic solutions.

What Makes Euphora MD Different?

Euphora MD isn’t just another med spa—it’s a sanctuary for those seeking to look and feel their best through minimally invasive techniques that honor and enhance their natural features. The clinic’s approach is rooted in the idea that beauty should be personal, subtle, and empowering. Treatments are tailored to each individual, blending the latest medical technology with a deep understanding of facial anatomy, skin health, and aging processes.

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy: The Power of You

One of the most sought-after services at Euphora MD is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, a revolutionary treatment that utilizes the body’s own healing power to rejuvenate the skin. PRP has gained popularity for its natural approach and transformative results, offering a safe and effective solution for a range of cosmetic and therapeutic concerns.

What Is PRP Therapy?

PRP therapy involves drawing a small amount of the patient’s blood, which is then spun in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. This plasma, rich in growth factors and healing proteins, is then re-injected or micro-needled into targeted areas of the skin or scalp. The result? A boost in collagen production, improved skin texture and tone, reduced fine lines, and even enhanced hair growth.

Benefits of PRP at Euphora MD

At Euphora MD, PRP therapy is used for a variety of applications:

  • Facial rejuvenation: Often referred to as the “vampire facial,” PRP can dramatically improve skin elasticity, texture, and luminosity.
  • Hair restoration: For individuals experiencing hair thinning or early hair loss, PRP stimulates dormant hair follicles and promotes healthier, thicker hair.
  • Under-eye treatment: PRP can help diminish dark circles and fine lines under the eyes—an area where many traditional treatments fall short.
  • Scar reduction: From acne scars to surgical marks, PRP can assist in reducing visible scarring through skin regeneration.

Because the treatment uses the patient’s own biological material, the risk of allergic reaction or rejection is nearly eliminated. The results develop gradually and naturally, making PRP a favorite among those who want a subtle yet effective transformation.

Botox: Artistry in Precision

While PRP focuses on rejuvenation, Botox excels in prevention and correction. As we age, repetitive facial expressions cause dynamic wrinkles—lines that form when we smile, frown, or squint. A skilled Botox physician can strategically relax specific muscles to soften these lines, giving the face a smoother, more youthful appearance without compromising natural expression.

Why Choose a Botox Physician at Euphora MD?

At Euphora MD, Botox treatments are only administered by certified, highly trained Botox physicians who understand the nuances of facial anatomy and the importance of precise application. This ensures:

  • Natural-looking results: The goal is not to freeze the face but to refresh it.
  • Custom treatment plans: Every client receives a tailored approach, addressing their unique facial structure and aesthetic goals.
  • Safe and sterile procedures: Cleanliness, professionalism, and patient comfort are top priorities.

Whether it’s softening crow’s feet, lifting the brows, or smoothing frown lines, Botox at Euphora MD is about enhancing what you already love about your face.

The Euphora MD Experience

Clients at Euphora MD aren’t just receiving treatments—they’re engaging in a personalized beauty journey. From the moment you walk into the elegant, welcoming space, you’re met with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to your wellness. Consultations are comprehensive, discussing not only aesthetic goals but also lifestyle factors, skincare routines, and long-term outcomes.

The clinic emphasizes education and transparency. Patients are informed about every step of their treatment, expected results, downtime, and maintenance strategies. This open communication fosters trust and long-term relationships between clients and their care team.

Combining Treatments for Optimal Results

One of the key advantages of choosing a full-service aesthetic clinic like Euphora MD is the ability to combine treatments for enhanced outcomes. For example, PRP therapy and Botox can work synergistically:

  • Botox helps prevent and reduce expression lines.
  • PRP improves skin texture, volume, and overall skin health.

Together, they create a more holistic rejuvenation effect—smoothing lines, brightening the complexion, and restoring youthful vitality without the need for surgery.

Looking Forward: Embracing Natural Beauty

At Euphora MD, natural beauty isn’t just a tagline—it’s a mission. In a culture that often promotes overdone and artificial aesthetics, this clinic offers a refreshing, grounded alternative. The focus isn’t on changing who you are; it’s on enhancing the features that make you uniquely you.

With the expert use of advanced techniques like Platelet Rich Plasma therapy and Botox delivered by seasoned professionals, clients can enjoy the confidence that comes from looking and feeling like their best selves—naturally.

Final Thoughts

In a world full of fleeting beauty trends and quick fixes, Euphora MD represents a return to thoughtful, personalized, and sustainable beauty practices. Through PRP therapy and the careful artistry of Botox, this clinic empowers individuals to embrace aging as a journey—not a battle.

Whether you’re looking to rejuvenate your skin, restore thinning hair, or gently smooth away the years, Euphora MD is where your natural beauty truly begins.

The Practical Benefits of Modular Roof Racks and Solar Roof Rack Systems

0

By Mitch Rice

Roof racks have become essential tools for outdoor enthusiasts, overlanders, tradespeople, and anyone who regularly needs to carry gear that won’t fit inside a vehicle. As travel and outdoor living evolve, so do the expectations for transport solutions. Modular roof racks and solar roof rack systems represent this next step—offering versatility, innovation, and convenience in ways traditional racks simply can’t match.

What Are Modular Roof Racks?

Modular roof racks are customizable systems composed of interchangeable components that can be adjusted or expanded based on specific needs. Unlike fixed or static roof racks, modular racks allow users to change the configuration, add accessories, and re-purpose the system depending on what they’re hauling.

Think of them like building blocks for your vehicle’s roof—whether you’re carrying bikes, surfboards, camping gear, or tools, you can tailor a modular rack setup to suit your trip.

Why Modular Roof Racks Matter

There are a few compelling reasons why modular roof racks have gained popularity across various groups of users:

1. Flexibility for Different Loads

Traditional racks often come with a specific design that limits what you can carry. Modular racks let you swap out panels, add mounting brackets, or reconfigure the platform. This makes them ideal for users who regularly switch between leisure travel and work use.

2. Ease of Customization

Users can adjust the rack’s width, and length, or add specialized mounts—for example, jerry can holders, awning brackets, or shovel mounts. This modularity means you only install what you need and remove components you don’t, which keeps your setup streamlined and efficient.

3. Durability and Strength

These systems are typically built with rugged materials like aluminum or steel, offering high load ratings. They’re engineered to withstand off-road vibrations, long-distance travel, and weather exposure.

4. Smart Use of Space

Vehicles have limited interior space. Modular roof racks provide a way to optimize exterior storage without sacrificing passenger comfort. For overlanders or road trippers, this can be a game-changer.

The Rise of Solar Roof Rack Systems

With sustainability becoming more important to travelers and adventurers, solar roof rack systems are increasingly gaining attention. These setups combine the utility of roof racks with the power-generation capabilities of solar panels.

What Is a Solar Roof Rack?

A solar roof rack is a modular roof rack that integrates one or more solar panels directly into its frame. The design allows users to harness solar energy while on the move or when stationary, providing power for lights, portable fridges, charging devices, or even small appliances.

Why Consider a Solar Roof Rack?

1. Energy Independence

Whether you’re camping off-grid, working remotely in the field, or simply want backup power during a road trip, solar roof racks offer self-sufficiency. You don’t need to rely on campsite hookups or vehicle batteries alone.

2. Eco-Friendly Power

Solar energy is renewable and clean. Using solar panels on your vehicle helps reduce dependence on fossil fuels, which aligns with a growing push for more sustainable outdoor lifestyles.

3. Integrated Design

Unlike mounting separate panels on top of a rack, these systems are often built for aerodynamic efficiency and minimal additional weight. They also reduce the risk of damaging solar panels through poor mounting.

4. Perfect for Long-Term Travel

For van lifers, RV travelers, or overlanders, solar roof racks mean the difference between constantly chasing charging stations and enjoying uninterrupted travel.

Who Benefits from Modular and Solar Roof Rack Systems?

  • Outdoor Adventurers: Hikers, bikers, kayakers, and surfers often carry oddly shaped or large equipment. A modular system accommodates these with specific mounts and tie-down points.
  • Tradespeople: Contractors and field workers can mount ladders, toolboxes, and job-site gear while keeping their cargo secure and accessible.
  • Remote Workers: Digital nomads benefit from solar roof racks to power laptops, hotspots, or lighting during long stays in nature.
  • Families on Road Trips: These racks help keep clutter out of the car by shifting luggage, coolers, or sports gear to the roof.

Key Considerations Before Choosing a System

Before installing a modular or solar roof rack, think about:

  • Your typical load: Consider what you carry most often.
  • Vehicle compatibility: Check the weight limits and roof type of your car.
  • Ease of installation: Some systems are DIY-friendly, while others require professional help.
  • Maintenance: Solar systems need occasional cleaning and inspection for optimal performance.

Conclusion

Modular roof racks and solar roof rack systems offer a level of adaptability and function that traditional racks can’t compete with. They reflect a shift toward smarter, more sustainable travel where every piece of equipment serves multiple purposes.

Whether you’re hauling gear across the country or powering a mobile office in the wilderness, these solutions bring convenience, efficiency, and independence. In a world that increasingly values mobility and sustainability, modular and solar roof racks aren’t just upgrades—they’re necessities for modern adventure and work on the go.

Dawes Reimagines “Time Spent in Los Angeles” with Andrew Bird and Alan Hampton to Aid MusiCares Fire Relief

0

Acclaimed California rock band Dawes have shared “Time Spent In Los Angeles (For Altadena),” a very special version of their classic track newly produced by Mike Viola with the help of friends Andrew Bird and Alan Hampton, available everywhere now on their own Dead Ringers via Secretly Canadian Distribution. Proceeds from the track will benefit MusiCares relief efforts in the wake of January’s devastating Southern California wildfires. To contribute to MusiCares’ Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, or if you or someone you know needs help, please visit musicares.org/firerelief.

Dawes co-founders Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith are among the many Los Angeles area residents whose lives were shattered by the wildfires’ unprecedented destruction – Taylor lost his studio and most of the band’s musical gear and equipment while Griffin and their parents all lost their homes. Dawes immediately went to work supporting MusiCares efforts to assist fellow musicians affected by the fires by visiting ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform “Time Spent in Los Angeles,” originally found on their 2011 sophomore album, Nothing Is Wrong.

We were asked to perform on Jimmy Kimmel within a week of both of our properties burning in Altadena,” says Taylor Goldsmith. “Griffin lost his house and I lost our studio. We decided to play a ballad version of ‘Time Spent in Los Angeles.’ The song means all sorts of different things to us now. After that live performance it became clear we would want a proper studio recording of the version for posterity (and to maybe even raise a little more money for MusiCares). So we hit up our fellow Angelenos Andrew Bird and Alan Hampton and recorded this live in one take at our old friend Mike Viola’s house studio in Echo Park. I feel like this is the version of this song that we’re gonna be playing for a long time to come.

Dawes have spent much of their time since the fires supporting and raising awareness for MusiCares, including a surprise opening appearance at the 67th Annual GRAMMY® Awards that saw them leading an all-star lineup – including Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, and St. Vincent – for an unforgettable performance of Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.” Dawes’ own exclusive version – featuring lyrical changes to reflect the City of Angels’ inspiring resilience following the disaster – is available now, with proceeds benefitting The Recording Academy and MusiCares’ Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort To Support Music Professionals.

Dawes –– were also among the stars performing at February’s star-studded FireAid benefit concert at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. After opening their set with “Time Spent in Los Angeles,” Dawes were joined onstage by Stephen Stills and Mike Campbell for a performance of Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth.” The supergroup then welcomed Stills’ longtime friend and musical partner Graham Nash for an unforgettable rendition of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s “Teach Your Children” that saw everyone in attendance at the arena singing along in unison.

Last year saw the acclaimed release of Dawes’ ninth studio album, Oh Brother, available everywhere now. Exclusive split color vinyl, as well as an array of deluxe Oh Brother bundles, are available via the Dawes online store. Hailed by No Depression as “a staggering soundscape where guitar-talking, folk-rock, bleary-eyed grooves, and a kind of misfit pop all blur into one succinct soundtrack for these unprecedented times,” the album steers Dawes decidedly forward, honoring 15 years of Taylor and Griffin’s musical relationship, as well as the next era and natural evolution of their beloved band.

Dawes spent much of last fall celebrating their new era traveling the US on their epic Oh Brother Tour, resuming April 9 at Woodstock, NY’s Bearsville Theatre. Special guests on most dates will be Michigander. Dawes’ busy schedule will also see additional summer headline dates along with a series of eagerly awaited shows supporting The Avett Brothers and top-billed appearances at an array of festivals including Goose’s Viva El Gonzo (set for May 8-10 in San José del Cabo, Mexico), Brandi Carlile’s Mothership Weekend in Miramar Beach, FL (May 11), and Louisville, KY’s Bourbon & Beyond (September 11-14). Spotify Unveils Ad Innovations with Help from Visa, Kona Big Wave, and Coke Studio

0

Spotify Advertising has hit a new high note, unveiling a series of updates that make it easier than ever for advertisers to buy, create, and measure on its platform.

The company has been steadily investing in its ad technology, expanding industry partnerships, and modernizing its platform to deliver real results for advertisers of all sizes. At the inaugural Spotify Advance event in New York City, Spotify introduced a suite of new advertising solutions designed to unlock the full potential of its platform.

One of the major announcements was the launch of the Spotify Ad Exchange (SAX), a real-time programmatic marketplace giving advertisers access to Spotify’s engaged, logged-in audience with full addressability and measurement capabilities. As of today, advertisers can access SAX via The Trade Desk, Google Display & Video 360, and Magnite, with Adform and Yahoo DSP integrations coming soon.

Spotify also introduced enhancements to its self-serve Spotify Ads Manager, including improved targeting and measurement tools, aimed at helping advertisers better meet their business objectives.

On the creative side, Spotify unveiled new tools and services to make ad creation more accessible. These include its in-house creative agencies, Creative Lab and AUX, as well as the launch of Spotify Gen AI Ads, an intuitive tool that allows advertisers in the U.S. and Canada to use generative AI to produce scripts and voiceovers for audio ads—at no additional cost. A U.K. rollout is on the way.

To help advertisers better assess performance, Spotify is also expanding its measurement capabilities with tools like Spotify Brand Lift and a new App Installs objective. New partnerships with third-party measurement leaders such as DoubleVerify, IAS, AppsFlyer, and Kochava further bolster the platform’s analytics offering.

In a recent interview with For the Record, Spotify’s Global Head of Advertising Lee Brown reflected on the significance of the moment. “Spotify Advance marks a pivotal moment for our company as our advertising business enters a new stage,” Brown said. “We’ve been investing to become a platform that can deliver results for advertisers, whatever their goal, whatever their size.”

Brown emphasized that Spotify provides a unique environment for brands to connect with consumers, especially through its free tier, where users spend an average of two hours per day streaming music and podcasts. The platform is seen as a “positive environment,” with Spotify’s 2024 Culture Next report revealing that 71% of Gen Z listeners view Spotify as the ultimate antidote to doomscrolling.

Brown also spoke about Spotify’s cultural edge, noting how brands can collaborate with in-house teams like Creative Lab for campaign strategy and AUX for music consultancy. AUX’s recent partnerships with Visa, Kona Big Wave, and the expanded collaboration with Coke Studio highlight Spotify’s ability to integrate brand storytelling with music and fandom.

When asked how advertisers should approach Gen Z audiences, Brown pointed out that more than 251 million Gen Zers use Spotify as a daily companion—not just while looking at a screen, but throughout every part of their day. That context creates unique opportunities for brands to engage with this influential generation in more meaningful ways.

Spotify’s latest offerings represent a bold step forward for its advertising business—one that blends cutting-edge technology, creative storytelling, and cultural insight to empower brands and connect with audiences more effectively than ever before.
