Jay Luke Confronts The Past On Cinematic ā€œMalice In Wonderlandā€ Video

Jay Luke returns with purpose on ā€œMalice In Wonderland,ā€ unveiling a cinematic new video that carries real emotional weight. The single arrives as a defining moment in his catalog, pairing raw performance with a deeper narrative about self-reflection and change.

The track digs into personal reckoning. ā€œMalice In Wonderlandā€ centers on confronting who you were and deciding what comes next. Luke’s vocal delivery pushes that tension forward, backed by a gritty rock foundation that gives the song its edge. The video, created with Camp Rattler, mirrors that message through symbolic visuals that amplify the song’s core idea.

The road to completion was anything but smooth. Production halted after a serious family emergency, followed by multiple setbacks including a fire that destroyed Camp Rattler’s headquarters. The team regrouped and finished the project across multiple locations, including Chestnut Street Tavern. Luke’s niece Dahlia appears in the video and contributes a spoken-word moment that adds another layer of intensity. The final result stands as a testament to persistence, with the release turning real adversity into something powerful.

Country Hitmakers Carly Pearce And Riley Green Ignite Tension On ā€œIf I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stayā€

Country hitmakers Carly Pearce and Riley Green join forces on ā€œIf I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay,ā€ a slow-burning duet that leans into tension, chemistry and hard decisions. The track is out now alongside its official video, marking another strong entry in Pearce’s current run of new music.

The song locks into a late-night mood. Two voices circle each other, caught between walking away and giving in one more time. Pearce and Green deliver lived-in performances that carry weight without overplaying the moment. The restrained production, co-produced by Pearce and Ben West, keeps the focus on the pull between them. The track lands with emotional intensity and undeniable vocal chemistry.

Directed by Wes Edwards, the video brings that push and pull to life on screen. It follows the pair through a night filled with unresolved choices, leaving the ending open. ā€œCollaborating with artists I’m a fan of is one of my favorite things to do,ā€ Pearce said. Green added that the harmonies felt unique from the start. The release continues Pearce’s current stretch of new material as she builds toward her next album.

Indie Emo Favorites Time Spent Driving Revive ā€œLeavingā€ Ahead Of ‘Just Enough Bright’ Reissue

Indie emo veterans Time Spent Driving return to a pivotal release with renewed focus. The group has shared ā€œLeaving (Remixed/Remastered),ā€ a reworked version of a key track from their 2002 album ‘Just Enough Bright’. The updated edition arrives ahead of the album’s vinyl reissue, landing April 10 via Thirty Something Records.

ā€œLeavingā€ captures the band’s signature balance of restraint and release. A steady bass line anchors shimmering guitars before the track builds into a cathartic closing passage. With original producer J. Robbins revisiting the mix and Dan Coutant handling the remaster, the song now carries sharper definition and a stronger sense of space. The emotional weight remains intact while the details come into clearer focus.

The reissue also adds a long-lost piece of the band’s history. ā€œWhat It Should Be Like,ā€ written during the original sessions, has now been completed and recorded with producer Olav Tabatabai. More than two decades on, ‘Just Enough Bright’ continues to hold its place, and this expanded edition reinforces its legacy with care and precision.

The first single, ā€œSome Bridges,ā€ is out now and introduces the emotional foundation of the upcoming release.

Written with Kat Higgins and James T. Slater, ā€œSome Bridgesā€ delivers a reflective country sound built around Messina’s unmistakable voice. That relaxed energy drives the track forward with bright country hooks and a feel-good groove built for live stages. ā€œThis song really is FUN,ā€ Janson said. ā€œThankful and thrilled to have my friend David Lee Murphy join me on it. He’s an all-time favorite of mine.ā€

Pop Revivalists The Lemon Twigs Announce ‘Look For Your Mind!’ With ā€œI Just Can’t Get Over Losing Youā€

0

The Lemon Twigs have unveiled the next chapter of their ever-evolving catalog. The indie pop revivalists announced their sixth studio album ‘Look For Your Mind!’, arriving May 8 via Captured Tracks. The news lands alongside the lead single and video ā€œI Just Can’t Get Over Losing You,ā€ a melodic introduction to the album’s ambitious new direction. Listen here.

The track delivers the shimmering guitars and tight harmonies that have become a Lemon Twigs signature, but the structure keeps listeners on their toes. The chorus shifts unexpectedly, the bridge lands early, and Brian D’Addario’s vocal blends with Eva Chambers for a soaring finish. The song moves with bright pop energy while twisting familiar conventions into something fresh.

‘Look For Your Mind!’ carries an undercurrent of unease beneath its melodic surface. ā€œI do think that now is a time of insanity,ā€ Brian D’Addario said. ā€œYou really have to hold onto your own mind if you don’t wanna lose it.ā€ That idea runs through the record’s themes while the group continues refining its meticulous songwriting craft.

The album also marks a shift in the studio dynamic. Longtime touring players Reza Matin and Danny Ayala join the sessions alongside Chambers, expanding the band’s creative circle beyond the core partnership of brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario. The result is a record that feels wider and more collaborative while staying rooted in the group’s classic pop instincts.

To celebrate the release, The Lemon Twigs will head out on a spring tour across the UK and Ireland. The run brings the new material to stages just weeks after the album’s arrival.

Malcolm Todd is moving into 2026 with momentum. The alternative pop standout has released his new single ā€œBreathe,ā€ arriving alongside an official music video directed by longtime collaborator Aidan Cullen and featuring choreography from Lexee Smith. The release opens the next phase of Todd’s rapidly growing career.

ā€œBreatheā€ was co-produced by Todd and highlights the atmospheric pop sound that has quickly defined his catalog. The track unfolds with a smooth, hypnotic groove that blends emotional vocals with modern alternative pop textures. It’s another strong step forward from one of the genre’s most compelling young voices.

The release follows a major breakout year. Todd’s 2025 self-titled album ‘Malcolm Todd’ has already generated more than 600 million global streams, powered by the breakout single ā€œChest Pain (I Love).ā€ The track marked Todd’s first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 and has surpassed 350 million streams worldwide.

The song’s reach expanded further when Don Toliver sampled ā€œChest Pain (I Love)ā€ on his track ā€œE85,ā€ which climbed to No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top of the Hot Rap Songs chart. The moment pushed Todd’s songwriting into an even wider spotlight.

Todd’s momentum has also carried to the stage. His Wholesome Rockstar Tour sold more than 85,000 tickets across the United States before heading overseas for performances in London, Berlin, Paris and Australia. Festival appearances at Camp Flog Gnaw, Pitchfork Paris, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits confirmed Todd as one of alternative pop’s most exciting young performers.

0

A new chapter has arrived for jxdn. The 2X RIAA Gold-certified singer, songwriter and performer has released his latest single ā€œBetter Man,ā€ an emotional pop and R&B slow-burn that signals the start of a new creative phase.

Driven by a soaring hook and reflective lyricism, ā€œBetter Manā€ explores reckless love, personal growth and the push toward redemption. The track builds with patient momentum before opening into a powerful chorus that highlights jxdn’s evolving vocal presence. The song lands with emotional weight and a wide-screen pop sound.

ā€œThis song marks the next phase of a brand new chapter for me, but somehow it also feels familiar, like I’ve been here before,ā€ jxdn said. ā€œI’ve been working on this music for a long time and I’m so excited for what’s ahead. Even more than that, I can’t wait for the world to finally hear it. ā€˜Better Man’ is just the beginning.ā€

With more than two billion global streams and praise from outlets including Rolling Stone, GRAMMY.com and OnesToWatch, jxdn continues to carve out a strong lane between modern pop and R&B. ā€œBetter Manā€ pushes that momentum forward with a confident and emotionally charged sound.

Heavy Metal Revivalists NERVE STAR Ignite ā€œSpace Ritualā€ Astral DJ Edit As ‘White Hot’ Blazes

0

Hard rock momentum is building around NERVE STAR. The group has released the Astral DJ edit of ā€œSpace Ritual,ā€ a shorter, high-impact version of the track featured on their new album ‘White Hot’, which is out now on CD and digital. The vinyl edition arrives March 28, bringing the record’s full analog punch to collectors and heavy music devotees.

ā€œSpace Ritualā€ carries serious muscle. Originally recorded by Spanish rockers Warlock as a demo in 1987, the track roars to life through NERVE STAR’s hands with swirling riffs, wah-drenched guitar leads and a driving groove that tips its hat to classic heavy rock. Matt Oakman delivers commanding vocals that push the song forward with authority.

NERVE STAR formed in 2021 and quickly locked into a sound built from 70s hard rock, 80s heavy metal and the raw spark of NWOBHM. The lineup solidified with bassist Joss Thorley and guitarist Chris Billinghurst before Oakman stepped in on vocals in 2023. Swedish guitarist and producer Janne Stark later joined the project, bringing decades of experience and forming a powerful twin-guitar attack alongside Billinghurst.

Recording sessions unfolded between Sweden and the UK, with Stark and drummer Peter ā€˜Trumpeter’ Svensson working from Sweden while other sessions took place at Raw Studios in England. The result is a 13-track album packed with rediscovered underground songs and two original instrumentals that showcase the group’s guitar firepower.

The closing track ā€œRichard IIIā€ delivers another standout moment. Guitar legend Tony Bourge of Budgie contributes his signature riffing to the song he originally wrote with Tredegar, joining Stark and Billinghurst for a three-guitar finale that lands with real weight. ‘White Hot’ delivers loud guitars, big drums and a deep respect for heavy metal’s underground history.
